While sugar is not the best for a sexy vegan diet, lemons certainly are - and one must indulge from time to time!

What you need:

For the cake,

juice of 1 large lemon

2 T lemon zest

1/2 cup quinoa flour

1/2 cup whole wheat pastry flour

1/2 cup white flour

1/2 cup coconut sugar

1 t baking soda

4 T coconut oil

1 t apple cider vinegar

1 t vanilla extract

1/2 cup water

For the icing,

1/2 cup confectioner's sugar
juice of 1 lemon
(combine the two)

What to do:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Combine flours, sugar, baking soda and lemon zest.

In another bowl, combine juice of 2 lemons, melted coconut oil, apple cider vinegar, vanilla extract and water. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and mix well. Spoon mix into a well oiled mini-loaf pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes. When the cake has cooled, drizzle icing on top. Enjoy!

1 T olive oil

sea salt, to taste

Blend all ingredients in a high-speed blender or food processor.

What you need for the barley:

1 1/3 cups pearled barley
1 cup chopped onion
Roast cashew nuts in coconut oil over medium heat for 5-7

Cabbage is one of those super sexy ingredients because it is part of the cruciferous family of veggies that contain sulphoraphane and indole-3 carbinole, two compounds that detoxify the body by neutralizing chemicals and encouraging their disposal. A clean body has better sex!

What you need:

1 (10-ounce bag) shredded cabbage

1/2 cup thinly sliced red onion

1/2 cup thinly sliced cucumber

1/2 cup thinly sliced carrots

1/2 a nori sheet, cut into strips

1/2 cup tahini

1 T brown rice miso

1 T lemon juice

1 T rice vinegar

1 T pure maple syrup

1 clove garlic, minced

pinch cayenne pepper

pinch black pepper

1/2 cup warm water

1 T nutritional yeast

cayenne pepper, to taste

sea salt, to taste

black pepper, to taste

sliced lemons or limes as garnish

What to do:

Place first set of ingredients in a large bowl.

Blend 2nd set in a high-speed blender.

Pour this dressing over slaw and toss to coat.

Mix in third set of ingredients, garnishing with lemon or lime slices.

Coconut oil (the extra-virgin
unrefined variety) is an essential staple in the aphrodisiac kitchen. Its uses
are virtually endless and its health benefits are too. Books have been written
on the subject, so here I’ll stick to ours: SEX! As a natural lubricant,
coconut oil is my favorite. It is effective without interrupting the vagina’s
natural flora. A little goes a long way, so that tub you purchase will last a
long, long while- which is fine, because coconut oil has a nearly interminable
shelf life. Coconut oil gives the body an immediate energy boost, so you may
wish to add it to a smoothie before sex. For an even more potent energy boost,
mix a tablespoon of coconut oil with a tablespoon of soaked chia seeds.
Massages are lovely ways to relax, while boosting the immune system and
fostering intimacy. Coconut oil by itself is a nice massage oil. Anytime you
cook with oil, coconut oil is a safe bet due to its high smoking point. Ladies-
regular application of coconut oil has been known to banish cellulite! Invest
in a tub of extra-virgin, unrefined coconut oil. You won’t be disappointed!
