Ok, great news, we are working in two, yes, TWO, DOIS, II, strategy games for PC and many others great things like new machines, redemptions and customized arcade cabs... I'll post more info in another post...

So, right now I'm working in corporation website, problem, website development suck, suck very hard a very baaaaad suck! Yes, I really hate to develop websites, so I'm doing some tests with some very popular CMS... Anyway, I've chose the Joomla to develop the website.

Last week a "new" game was released in Live network, R-Type Dimension come both R-Types from arcade machine!

What can I say, this is probably one of the bestest remakes ever! In this new vesion you can play the game with the original pixeled graphics or in full 3D graphics!

Ok, I never saw a so perfect remake since the Final Fantasy for Nintendo DS, the adaptation from 2D to 3D is perfect, if you don't belive, check the video ;)

Hello everyone, first post of year!

As everyone alredy know, I'm a completely video-game fan, and for the last weeks I'm was looking (an I'm still looking) for some classic games from Genesis, Master and NES... So, I found five games :)

Sadly is very hard to find the Zelda II gold cartridge here in Brazil, this one was published by Playtronic... If you don't know Playtronic was a company from 93 from Gradiente and Estrela only to be the official representative of Nintendo.

About the Dick Tracy, ok, I got this game only by the Angry VideoGame Nerd video, and this game isn't too bad as he said, this is a very nice game... ;)

Just to finish, we are doing the beta test from the new Microsoft Windows 7 here in Vortex Game Studios, I'll try to post some comments about it in my next post :D

old concept, new game - post 009

A new game is VERY, VERY, VERY hard, and a new game concept?! Today is almost impossible!

Today we have all kinds of games, shooter, strategy, race, dance, cook, band and roll-the-giant-ball-that-picks-all-the-stuff-in-your-way, and this is just a few examples...So I can be thinking, a new game every other equal or recycle... Hold on! Recycle!? How???

Ok, everyone already know the new great success Left 4 Dead, I saw many guys talking about what is revolutionary, a new game, but whait, this is just a COOP first-person shooter game, how can anyone can say this is new or revolutionary, this is the same thing as SWAT 4... BUT, in L4D there something diferent, LOTS AND LOTS of zombies that makes the players play together, with this little extra did the game become very stressful for the player and very frenetic!
Very good for a old concept with some updates...

Another good example is the game "Blast Theory", I saw this game for the first time during the VIVO Arte.Mov in Belo Horizonte, if you don't know, this is a hide and seek game where the players who hide play online around the world in a digitalized part of a real city, I saw Belo Horizonte in Brazil, Tokio in Japan and London in UK, and another guy with a PDS, a radio, a camera and a GPS talk with online players and try to find them running in the real city!

So, this is just a few exemples about how can you get a old concept, recycle it and build a new game!

Hello again...

Today I was working in our new game, the name is Shadow Play, developing the game engine...

Anyway, today I'll talk about halloween games, and kinkei, a kick ass artist from UK made the graphics from a very nice hallow web game!

In Evil Von Needle you play as Mitten, and you need to find a way to help your friend Measles from the evil Dr Von Needle.

This a very fun platform game like many classics from Super Nintendo or Sega Genesis with great graphics and a very easy gameplay...

Long time, no see!

I was working in a game to Raquel Kogan for two weaks, and the work is done!
If you like to play you will find the game in arte.mov 2008 in Belo Horizonte...

Anyway, the game is done, now I hate SpongeBob Square Pants (tell more later xD), I have another one to finish and start the ShadowPlay... Talking about shadowplay, I finally made the Vortex Game Studios official blogging community, maybe I send this blog to VGSBC later...

Just to close this post, my new portal is under development and we are working in OgTheDog Co. online shop (BUY OUR STUFF :D hehehe), soon I'll post more about...

Too much work, still working in two games and we are working in a 3rd game, a new game... Yes, a new game! A very funny game!

But I can't say anything about this new game right now, but I'll post many infor about this new game and about the development ;)

Hello again, second post...

I'm still working in my blog design, I made my "own" About Me component with a nice intro, and made a small change in header pic and a nice random script for the pics in about me :D

Anyway, I need to do some changes in a game project, big changes, but the game will be much better and I need to finish a budget to a new game for Raquel Kogan later... Too tired -_-'...

Ok, I'll check if I can post some pics...

Hello everyone, Monkey here...

This is my first post here in my own new blog...

But who I'm?! I'm a game developer and designer from a indie game studio from Brazil who like to draw and paint in my free time, and I like to run too!

What I'll say here?! Everything about games, technology, music, movies and some comments too... ok and sometimes I'll use as a developer diary too...
