The only power that major labels wield is intimidation, because international distribution only costs $35. So, what do we need them for? In the United States, Independent Musicians out-number signed musicians 70 to 1. I know that in time; we will saturate the market with so much new, original, inspiring, independent music, that the majors will not be able to compete with the numbers.

Speaking of NUMBERS; my new release comes out on November 3rd, and we at Art Beyond Audio are discussing the street campaign. (A word of advice: when marketing an upcoming album release, you do not want to spread your budget thin trying to reach as many as possible. The trick is to saturate a specific geographic location, and to cultivate a small following. Then, if the album is good, they will tell two friends and their two friends will tell their two friends.) So here is my question...

Where should we launch the street campaign for NUMBERS?

1. Oakland, PA (Pitt)
2. Mt. Lebanon, PA
3. Tempe, AZ (ASU)
4. Hollywood, CA
5.
