What up yall, I would like to thank all the visitors who visit this page and all my fans who been following me and sticking it out with me thru this hard time in my life.

Lately I been working on my ep EVERYTHING RIV but things have been going a little slow. But just because the ep process been going slow, that doesnt mean that I been going slow. I been in the computer lab around the corner from my home working on building my label, RIV ONE MUSIC GROUP.

RIV ONE MUSIC GROUP is all me, its not a record label, distro label, or publishing label. It is a limited liability company that provides services to indie and major artist. Most of you who know me, know what I do and what I can provide. The economy is "bad, broke, and ugly" ecspecially where im from so now a days you have to make your own jobs.

You all know my passion for my music is second to none but I can get some extra money by providing quality services to artist and companies in need then thats my 9-5 for now. Business is business and my kids need cloths, I need cloths, and I have to survive.

So if you need anything please feel free to contact me, I am very professional and very knowledgeable about the music industy, I know what your thinking right now "if I can provide all of these services, how come im not poppin yet?"

EVERYTHING RIV (google+) new site promo

What up Riv One'ers the moment yall been waiting for is finally here, for the rest of this week I will be on GOOGLE+, this is a social site just like facebook. Its fairly new so its not as crowded as fb. The people is real and site is pretty easy to use.

Im still playing around with the site seeing how interactive it is. The set up is kinda different from facebook but if your really a facebook head you'll see that it almost operate a little better. Its a Google product so its highly google interative.

EVERYTHING RIV "DIGI TOUR"

What up yall, I know there have been talk about me doing a digital tour for my up coming project EVERYTHING RIV. I know everybody is wondering how and why so let me explain.

WHY: I feel like most of the indie artist today is strongly focusing on facebook and twitter. I want to take it back to the original format of pitching sites, artist sites, and other amazing sites out there that is really good for indie artist. Plus I think facebook is getting way to crowded and I want to be sure that I have fans and not just people surfing on facebook or twitter and just happen to see me on there.

HOW: Im going to be on different sites on different days doing different things and promotions. I will be releasing new music, videos, and special offers on selected sites only, which means that it will only be aired on the current site that Im on at the time only. This is not a virtal tour, this tour will be more interactive than just watching a video.

In addition to my digital tour, I will be giving away prizes like a free copy of my up and coming ep EVERYTHING RIV, posters, vip passes to an up coming show in or around your city, feature on your project (artist only), a feature spotlight on THEREALRIV, and more.

Once I get the site listing done I will post the tour dates and websites.

Once again I want to thank the lord for giving me this amazing talent. I also want to thank Audio Rokit for offering me this opportunity. I thank this is a good look for me, Im very intune with the music world and I believe this merger would benifit the both of us. Thanks to Audio Rokit, I been getting heard overseas and its a wonderful feeling to know that you have fans not only in the U.S.A but places like India, Europe, South America and Africa. I feel like something good is going to happen real soon, I can feel it like arthritis on a rainy day lol. So early one morning I had a call from an ArtistPr rep and was offered the "feature artist spotlight" spot. I have truley been blessed and I appreciate every opportunity thats been coming my way. With my ep EVERYTHING RIV coming soon, I been real busy trying to keep up with everything thats been going on, on top of looking for a job and getting my son on the regular. Hello Riv One'ers, I would like to appoligize for the hold up and the time spand of my e.p but I been really busy lately, I decided to rename my e.p from "Introduction To Dion Strokes" to "EVERYTHING RIV."

I know yall been very patient with me and I promise you it will be worth the wait. Everybody been telling me that they love the way I twist (rap fast), so Im going to give you more of that, they also say they like my harmonies, so im going to give you more of that, and they say they like my cockiness and originality, so im going to give you more of that also. The reason for my name change is I been dealing with alot of industry people, some small and some big, but they all tell me they want more. They want to know who RIV really is, do RIV have an ultimate sound, and can I give the industry and my fans the e.p that they been waiting on.

All Im going to say is that this e.p is going to be high energy, smooth, good quality, creative, and more. With production from Wook Billa, the producer of the internet smash single Kick It Tonight, and the Engineering skills of Swade Johnson and myself, this will be on the the hottest ep's out of the midwest area.

What up all my Riv Oner's out there, today is the day that im am going to to annouce that I will be starting my own entertainment company. SELF AFFLICTED OR BAD LUCK

Life is what every you make it to be. I often sit back and think about my life like what I'm doing, what I did, and I noticed that certain things dont nesessarily happen for a reason. Its more like cause and affect, what you do in you pass will affect the future. Its "karma", and no matter how you want to put it, sometimes, things that happen to people are just self afflicted. Its crazy lol, I swear I sit back and just think. I know everybody wonder why certain stuff happen to them but if you sit back and think about all of the possible causes then the affect dosen't seem so random. Live and learn form your mistakes and stop complaining about stuff you have no control over. But if you do have control over it then you shouldn't be mad at nobody but yourself lol. You have to be a thinker, sometimes it may be just plain old bad luck and if it is then you have to change your surroundings, if your life isnt working out for you in your current eviornment the I think relocation would be the best bet. Not only is it a new enviornment, it should be a new you. Im not say change completely but a lil change for the better is good. so are you self afflicted or do you have bad luck?
