Winter continues…

I hate Fridays! Uni class at 8am so I had to be up by 6 and catch train by 7. Urrrgh!

What I wore: Oversized shirt, leopard printed scarf, white over black striped skirt (from haul video), black cardigan and flat walking boots.

Date night (Re-blogged)

Last Wednesday night my friends and I decided to meet up for dinner. The original plan was to grab some late lunch but they were caught up with something the last minute so lunch date turned into date night instead.

Sorry for the low res pictures because I just took them using my mobile.

What I wore: Black cardigan, white long sleeves shirt (you can never go wrong with whites), grey fitted skirt, scarf from my mum but was originally from my nana and black walking flat boots. Very comfortable and laid back dinner-with-friends outfit.

I left my hair down for a change. Put on typical powder, mascara, blush and lippy.

This lippy is what I’ve been loving lately. It called exceptional lipstick fiesta in 30 by Elizabeth Arden. It’s a light fuchsia colour. Just enough pop of brightness.

I suggested this Viet resto called Pho Sam near my place since I’ve already tried dinning here. It’s not a fancy rest but good enough because they serve lovely meals. I can’t resist snapping their ceiling because it’s so elegant and detailed. It’s a cosy place to dine and have a chat with your friends and they have variety of foods.

I got myself a soy chicken with steamed rice. It comes with a tomato rice but I prefer steamed rice above anything (and I really don’t like tomatoes). My friends can’t decide what to have so they just ordered what the girl sitting beside me was having. She looked very thrilled with her fried pork and dried noodles so, sold! They’re having that too! Haha ☺

I also got this black jelly with coconut milk tea. I know it doesn’t look good but hey, it’s refreshing.

We wanted some sweets so we went to our local coffee shop. Hot cuppa is perfect during winter time.

Almond mini cake and New York style cheese cake. No fighting!

Thank you girls for the lovely night. We shall do this again soon.

By the way, this is already my third attempt of doing this blog. I don’t know what happened but this evening when I checked my blog, this post was already gone. So I had to do it again. My person suggested this windows live writer where you can save your blog. Now, no hassle of worrying about my deleted blogs. It’s now all saved here. I’m all safe now. You can try this one too, just download it from the internet and all is set.

Thursday night is shopping night

Sad to say but shopping centres here in Au close at around 5/6pm. But during Thursdays, it's late night shopping. They are open until 9pm (Yey!). So today, my partner in crime, my friend and I decided to go for a little shopping trip. We decided to go to Chatswood for a change.

We were thrilled to see that they were having a festival and night market. Good timing because I was dying of hunger.

They have all sorts of stalls here. Clothes, fruits, veggiees, sweets, drinks, food booths etc.

So many choices but we didn't want to wait because some booths have a very long queue, we ended up eating at this Japanese or Korean food stand. I'd say Korean just because. We tried their marinated beef and chips and it was the right choice! It was so good! very tasty and the beef is just so yummy. It melts in the mouth. My person reckons they used the ever famous and forever expensive wagyu beef. I really don't care. I'm a happy and contented eating customer.

These kids are adorable!! They were enjoying Bulgogi too.

We got a lot of stuff and we couldn't carry them so we brought this trolley full of goodies at Harvey Norman (it's where all electronics are and they sell in a very reasonable price).

Only 1359! Whuuutt?! We asked the sales guy the price for the 62" LED TV. Whopping $4000. Someone should start saving aye. Haha ☺

I can't wait for another Thursday shopping trip. I'll to blog all my purchases next time.
