&lt;i&gt;3 Şubat Cuma günü iyiden iyiye hız kazanan kar yağışının ardından Cumartesi sabahı bembeyaz 
bir güne uyanmıştık hızlandı, yavaşladı, kesildi ama o gün bugündür de kalkmadı. İtalya&amp;#39;ya geldiğimden beri bu kadar kar görmemiştim, 
genelde teğet geçerdi bizim buraları.&lt;/i&gt;&lt;br&gt;

&lt;i&gt;Haftasonu yine yeni yeniden bir soğuk hava dalgası ve kar yağışı bekliyormuş bizi. &lt;/i&gt;&lt;br&gt;

&lt;i&gt;After the heavy snowfall that started falling in the afternoon of 3rd February, we woke up to a &amp;#39;snow-white&amp;#39; day on Saturday. It gained speed, slowed down and stopped but the town remained blanketed since then. I had never seen so much snow since I moved to Italy. Either it didn&amp;#39;t snow or it would just touch us slightly as passing by.&lt;/i&gt;&lt;br&gt;

60g celery stalk, roughly chopped (add also a few leaves)&lt;br&gt;

30g extra virgin olive oil&lt;br&gt;
150g frozen spinach (removed from the freezer 5-10 minutes before use)&lt;br&gt;

1/2-1 tbsp Thermomix meat or vegetable stock concentrate&lt;br&gt;

&lt;i&gt;Dopo la nevicata forte che era iniziata nel pomeriggio di venerdì 3 febbraio, il sabato mattina ci siamo svegliati in una giornata &amp;#39;bianca come la neve&amp;#39;. La nevicata si è intensificata venerdì per poi rallentare e infine fermarsi, ma la città è rimasta ancora ricoperta  di neve da quel giorno. &lt;/i&gt;&lt;br&gt;

&lt;i&gt;Geçtiğimiz Pazar yani 29 Ocak günü doğumgünümdü ve nihayet yaş 35 yolun yarısı etti! &lt;/i&gt;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;i&gt;Bu yaşa erişen her Türk evladının Cahit Sıtkı Tarancı&amp;#39;nın o meşhur şiirini hatırlaması kaçınılmaz sanırım.&lt;/i&gt;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;i&gt;Otuz Beş Yaş şiirini ilk öğrendiğimde tesadüf bu ya annem 35 yaşındaydı. Aman ne hoşuma gitmişti bu tesadüf. Şiirin &amp;quot;Yaş otuzbeş yolun yarısı eder, Dante gibi ortasındayız ömrün&amp;quot; mısralarını -ki Dante&amp;#39;nin kim olduğundan haberimin olmamasının hiç önemi yoktu- annemi bıktırana kızdırana kadar defalarca tekrarlamıştım.&lt;/i&gt;&lt;br&gt;

&lt;i&gt;Tanrım, o zamanlar gözüme ne büyük görünürdü 35 yaş, şimdi kendim o şerefe muvaffak oldum. Sırf &amp;#39;muvaffak&amp;#39; kelimesi bile başlı başına bir kanıt sayılabilir bu duruma.&lt;/i&gt;&lt;br&gt;

&lt;i&gt;Doğumgünüm için çok farklı bir organizasyona gitmedik. Ailece yenilen geleneksel Pazar öğle yemeğini birkaç ekstra çeşit ve iki de tatlı ilavesi ile zenginleştirmiş olduk. &lt;/i&gt;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;i&gt;Diğer bir deyişle doğumgününe &amp;#39;upgrade&amp;#39; edilen Pazar yemeği bize ekstra kaloriler olarak geri döndü.&lt;/i&gt;&lt;br&gt;

&lt;i&gt;Last Sunday, the 29th of January, was my birthday and I&amp;#39;ve eventually reached at 35 which is &amp;quot;halfway through the journey we are living&amp;quot; according to Dante.&lt;/i&gt;&lt;br&gt;

&lt;i&gt;When I first heard about these lines referenced in a poem, coincidentally my mom was 35 years old. Oh boy, how I did enjoy this coincidence! I kept laughing and repeating the lines of &amp;quot;age 35, halfway thorugh the journey&amp;quot; until I pissed mom off! :)&lt;/i&gt;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;i&gt;God, those years how old it sounded to be 35 and now I have the privilege of being there (!)&lt;/i&gt;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;i&gt;The rush I felt when I was a child to grow up as soon as possibile has long gone.&lt;/i&gt;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;i&gt;Big deal! Aren&amp;#39;t the 30&amp;#39;s are the new 20&amp;#39;s?? Back on track then! ;)&lt;/i&gt;&lt;br&gt;

&lt;i&gt;We didn&amp;#39;t have a very different organization for my birthday. The traditional Sunday family lunch was enriched with the addition of a few more dishes and two different cakes! &lt;/i&gt;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;i&gt;In other words, Sunday lunch which was upgraded to a birthday celebration got back to us as some extra calories. &lt;/i&gt;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;i&gt;Well.. It doesn&amp;#39;t matter... I need some new recipes for the blog, don&amp;#39;t I? :)&lt;/i&gt;&lt;br&gt;

&lt;i&gt;Domenica scorsa, il 29 gennaio, era il mio compleanno e mio malgrado anche io ho raggiunto, come disse Dante e voi ben sapete &amp;quot;il mezzo del cammin di nostra vita&amp;quot;.&lt;/i&gt;&lt;br&gt;

&lt;i&gt;Quando lessi per la prima volta &lt;/i&gt;&lt;i&gt;queste righe, parte di una famosa poesia turca, mia madre a&lt;/i&gt;&lt;i&gt;veva 35 anni. Immaginate una ragazzina di 13 anni, non potevo certo perdermi un&amp;#39;occasione così irripetibile! Ripetei all&amp;#39;infinito &amp;quot;35 anni, &lt;/i&gt;&lt;i&gt;nel mezzo del cammin di nostra vita&lt;/i&gt;&lt;i&gt;&amp;quot; finché non feci incavolare mia madre, e lei raramente lo fa! :)&lt;/i&gt;&lt;br&gt;

&lt;i&gt;Mamma mia! In quegli anni chi aveva 35 anni mi sembrava così vecchio, e ora ho il &amp;quot;privilegio&amp;quot; di essere far parte di quella cerchia.&lt;/i&gt;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;i&gt;La voglia che sentivo, quando ero piccola, di crescere nel più breve tempo possibile è da tanto tempo scomparsa. &lt;/i&gt;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;i&gt;Ma che problema è! Non sono i 30 i nuovi 20? &lt;/i&gt;&lt;br&gt;

&lt;i&gt;Non c&amp;#39;è stata un&amp;#39;organizzazione particolare per il mio compleanno. &lt;/i&gt;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;i&gt;Il tradizionale pranzo in famiglia della Domenica è stato arricchito con alcuni piatti extra e ben due torte! &lt;/i&gt;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;i&gt;In altre parole, il pranzo di domenica è stato &amp;quot;aggiornato&amp;quot; a una festa di compleanno e un surplus di... calorie supplementari:) &lt;/i&gt;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;i&gt;Beh .. Non importa ... Ho bisogno di nuove ricette per il blog, no? :)&lt;/i&gt;&lt;br&gt;

&lt;i&gt;Come ho detto prima, grazie a questa scusa, ho avuto modo di provare quattro nuove ricette. Le pubblicherò quando troverò il tempo di preparare i post. Ne ho molte altre pronte, solo che non so quando potrò scrivere i post e soprattutto tradurle in inglese e italiano.&lt;/i&gt;&lt;br&gt;

&lt;i&gt;Anche se ho fatto questa torta di compleanno pochissimo tempo fa, pubblico questa ricetta oggi perché non vorrei che sia pubblicato tra due mesi e perciò sembrare fuori luogo. Quanto alle altre, hanno solo bisogno di aspettare ancora un po&amp;#39; il loro turno per essere pubblicate.&lt;/i&gt;&lt;br&gt;

&lt;i&gt;Şımartan Tatlar&amp;#39;ın 2011 Ocak ayı sayısında yer alan Karışık Çekirdekli Ekmek tarifinden yola çıkıp üzerinde birkaç değişiklik yaparak hazırladığım bu ekmeği gerçekten çok sevdik.&lt;/i&gt;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;i&gt;Stefano ile öğlen yemeği yemeye vaktimiz olmadığı bir gün sandviç tarzı birşey hazırlamam gerekti. Bu sefer biraz farklı olsun diye bu ekmeği hazırladığım. Şekil olarak sandviç hazırlamaya pek uygun sayılmaz ama ona göre dilimledim.&lt;/i&gt;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;i&gt;Ekmeği pişirince yeni ektiğim otların önünde resmini çektim. Kış ortası bu ne ekimi diyen olabilir. Çok kullandığım için adaçayı, biberiye ve hadi konuya el atmışken bir de kekik ekmeye karar verdim. Artık komşuların bahçelerinden ot çalmam gerekmeyecek! :) Valla işin hırsızlığından ziyade her ihtiyacım olduğunda dışarı çıkmaya üşendiğim için, gerek oldukça pencere önündeki saksıdan alıp kesiveririm diye ektim :)&lt;/i&gt;&lt;br&gt;

&lt;i&gt;Bu ikinci denemem olacak. İlk denememde böceklenmişti biberiye ve adaçayı. İnşallah bu kez muradıma ererim. :) Gönül isterdi ki fesleğen de ekebileyim ama çok narin bir bitki, hiç verim alınmıyor, ya da ben pek beceremiyorum.&lt;/i&gt;&lt;br&gt;

&lt;i&gt;We really enjoyed this bread of which I got the recipe from a Turkish food magazine&lt;/i&gt;.&lt;i&gt; I made some modifications on it as usual.&lt;/i&gt;&lt;br&gt;

&lt;i&gt;On a day that Stefano and I didn&amp;#39;t have the time to have a proper lunch at home I needed to make something like sandwiches. I wanted to prepare something I hadn&amp;#39;t tried yet so I made this one. Even if its round shape was not very suitable to make sandwiches, I tried to slice it asssording to my needs.&lt;/i&gt;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;i&gt;When baked, I took a picture of it in front of my recently planted herbs. I know, I didn&amp;#39;t pick the best period of time to plant my herbs as we are in the middle of the winter. I am using sage and rosemary quite often. Since I was on to it, I decided, why not, to plant also some thyme. I won&amp;#39;t have to steal herbs from the neighbours&amp;#39; anymore ;) Rather than getting from the others or buying, my lazziness to go out every time I needed a couple of sprigs or leaves led me to do so. I have them all ready in front of my kitchen window now. :)&lt;/i&gt;&lt;br&gt;

&lt;i&gt;This is going to be my 2nd trial. My rosemary and sage were bugged for some unknown reason. (Well, as a person who grew up in the city any reason would be unknown to me anyway) I hope this time I achieve my goal. If only I could plant some basil as well however it is such a delicate plant that it hardly grows. Or it is not him, it&amp;#39;s me! :)&lt;/i&gt;&lt;br&gt;

&lt;i&gt;Ci è piaciuto molto questo pane di cui ho preso la ricetta da una rivista turca di cucina. Come al solito però ho fatto alcune modifiche. &lt;/i&gt;&lt;br&gt;

&lt;i&gt;Un giorno che Stefano e io non avevamo tempo di pranzare a casa dovevo preparare qualcosa di veloce come dei panini o sandwich. Volevo preparare qualcosa che non avevo ancora provato, così ho deciso di fare questo. Anche se la sua forma rotonda non era molto adatta per fare dei panini, ho cercato di affettarla secondo le mie esigenze.&lt;/i&gt;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;i&gt;Appena dopo cotto, ho fatto una foto davanti alle mie erbe recentemente piantate. Lo so, non ho scelto il miglior periodo per piantarle dato che siamo nel bel mezzo dell&amp;#39;inverno. Quando cucino uso spesso salvia e rosmarino. Allora ho pensato, perché no, di piantare anche del timo. Non avrò più bisogno di &amp;quot;prendere in prestito&amp;quot; le erbe dai vicini ;) Forse la pigrizia mi ha ispirato, così ora non devo uscire ogni volta che ho bisogno di un paio di rametti o foglie :) Ora ho tutto pronto di fronte alla mia finestra della cucina. Che bello! :)&lt;/i&gt;&lt;br&gt;

&lt;i&gt;Questa sarà la mia seconda prova. Le mie prime piante di rosmarino e salvia sono state infettate per qualche motivo sconosciuto. (Beh, come una persona che è cresciuta nella città qualsiasi motivo sarebbe sconosciuto per me) Spero che questa volta dureranno a lungo. Se solo potessi piantare anche del basilico, ma è una pianta molto delicata e cresce poco. O forse come al solito...non è lui, sono io! :)&lt;/i&gt;&lt;br&gt;

Dolgu malzemesi olarak yine tortellini yaparken kullandığımız &lt;a href="http://thermomixtarifdefterim.blogspot.com/2011/12/tavuk-dolgulu-tortellini.html"&gt;tavuklu harcı&lt;/a&gt; kullandık. Aynı şekilde &lt;a href="http://thermomixtarifdefterim.blogspot.com/2011/12/etli-tortellini-harc.html"&gt;etli harç&lt;/a&gt; ile ya da balıklı bir harç hazırlayarak da yapılabilir. Balıklısı da çok lezzetli oluyor ama balıklı harcı kendim yapmayı denemedim henüz.&lt;/i&gt;&lt;br&gt;

&lt;i&gt;Today&amp;#39;s recipe is coming from Ascoli Piceno of Marche Region in Italy. I had fried olives in Italy for the first time. They are superb! Stefano&amp;#39;s family make them quite often. They are among the most popular products of family&amp;#39;s pasta fresca shop as well.&lt;/i&gt;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;i&gt;You can have them as starter, appetizer, they keep great company also to meat, chicken and even fish dishes. I can personally have them even for breakfast or brunch. (Even if  I am &lt;/i&gt;&lt;i&gt;recently &lt;/i&gt;&lt;i&gt;having oats for breakfast, traditional Turkish breakfast or brunch are based on several kinds of cheeses, olives, salami, jam, omlette, tomato, cucumber, bread and of course several cups of tea. People who work during the week usually get by with a simple sandwich but mostly on the weekends the breakfast/brunch becomes the queen meal of the day)&lt;/i&gt;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;i&gt;Today I won&amp;#39;t be giving you amount of the ingredients, I explain how they are made though.&lt;/i&gt;&lt;br&gt;

&lt;i&gt;We prepared these stuffed olives at the same time we prepared Tortellini. We stuffed them with the same &lt;a href="http://thermomixtarifdefterim.blogspot.com/2011/12/chicken-stuffed-tortellini.html"&gt;chicken stuffing&lt;/a&gt; that we used for tortellini. You can make them also with &lt;a href="http://thermomixtarifdefterim.blogspot.com/2011/12/meat-stuffing-for-tortellini.html"&gt;meat stuffing&lt;/a&gt; or even fish one. I had the chance to eat also fish stuffed olives, they are gorgeous but I haven&amp;#39;t made them myself. So I update this if someday I try them.&lt;/i&gt;&lt;br&gt;

&lt;i&gt;La ricetta di oggi viene da Ascoli Piceno. Non avevo mai assaggiato delle olive fritte prima di venire a vivere in Italia.&lt;/i&gt;&lt;i&gt; Sono davvero superbe! La famiglia di Stefano le fa molto spesso e sono anche uno dei prodotti più popolari del negozio di famiglia.&lt;/i&gt;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;i&gt;Si possono usare come antipasto, fanno grande compagnia a piatti di carne e pesce. Posso personalmente mangiarli anche per colazione o il brunch! (Recentemente faccio colazione con i fiocchi di avena, ma la tradizionale colazione turca o il brunch si basano su diversi tipi di formaggi, olive, salumi, marmellate, frittata, pomodori, cetrioli, pane e, certamente, parecchie tazze di tè. Le persone che lavorano durante settimana di solito fanno colazione con un semplice panino, ma soprattutto il fine settimana la colazione / il brunch diventa la regina dei pasti della giornata).&lt;/i&gt;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;i&gt;Oggi non vi propongo una ricetta con tutte le quantità precise degli ingredienti, spiegherò come le abbiamo fatte però.&lt;/i&gt;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
&lt;i&gt;Abbiamo preparato queste olive farcite lo stesso giorno che abbiamo preparato i tortellini. Noi le abbiamo farcite con lo stesso &lt;a href="http://thermomixtarifdefterim.blogspot.com/2011/12/tortellini-ripieni-di-pollo.html"&gt;ripieno di pollo&lt;/a&gt; che avevamo usato per i tortellini. Potete farcirle anche con &lt;a href="http://thermomixtarifdefterim.blogspot.com/2011/12/ripieno-di-carne-per-tortellini.html"&gt;ripieno di manzo&lt;/a&gt; o di pesce. Ho avuto l&amp;#39;opportunita di mangiare tutte e tre tipi e sono tutte buonissime. In futuro proverò a farle anche di pesce e vi farò avere la ricetta.&lt;/i&gt;&lt;br&gt;

&lt;i&gt;Bir haftayı aşkın bir süredir yaprak oynamadı blogda.&lt;/i&gt;&lt;br&gt;

&lt;i&gt;Geçtiğimiz hafta İstanbul&amp;#39;dan çok yakın dostlarımız Esra ve Mustafa geldiler Floransa&amp;#39;daki Pitti Uomo fuarı için. Moda ile ilgisi olanlar bilir Pitti Uomo erkek moda dünyası için en prestijli fuarlardan biridir. Biz de hem ziyaret hem ticaret hem tatil deyip onlara eşlik ettik. Her ne kadar moda dünyasına yakınlığımız kendimiz için aldığımız üç beş giysi ile sınırlı olsa da bizim açımızdan da çok değişik bir deneyim oldu. Önümüzdeki sene Stefano&amp;#39;nun nasıl giyinmesi gerektiği ile ilgili güzel ipuçları yakaladık ama ne kadar uygulanabilir orasını bilemem ;)&lt;/i&gt;&lt;br&gt;

&lt;i&gt;Last week our very close friends Esra and Mustafa came from Istanbul for Pitti Uomo Fair in Florence. Those who are interested in fashion would know, Pitti Uomo is one of the most prestigious fairs for menswear fashion. We added up business and pleasure and kept them company. Even though our relationship with the fashion world is limited with a few clothes which we buy throughout the year, it has been a very interesting experience for us. We&amp;#39;ve got some hints about how to dress my husband for 2012-2013 winter season, I don&amp;#39;t know how practicable though :)&lt;/i&gt;&lt;br&gt;

&lt;i&gt;La scorsa settimana i nostri amici del cuore, Esra e Mustafa, sono venuti da Istanbul per la fiera Pitti Uomo a Firenze. Coloro che sono interessati alla moda sapranno che Pitti Uomo è una delle fiere più prestigiose della moda maschile. Abbiamo approfittato del loro viaggio di affari (hanno una ditta di maglieria) per far loro compagnia e visitare di nuovo la bellissima Firenze. Sebbene il nostro rapporto con il mondo della moda è limitato al conoscere le nuove tendenze, è certamente stata un&amp;#39;esperienza molto interessante anche per noi. Abbiamo preso alcuni spunti per mio marito per la prossima stagione invernale, a patto di vincere il superenalotto :)&lt;/i&gt;&lt;br&gt;
