I really love this short “Dans L’Ombre” (In the Shadows) directed by Fabrice Mathieu. It won the Honorable Mention at the Disposable Film Festival 2012. I was a judge and I think it is really smartly done.

I look forward to seeing more by this director.

But from here, in front of my computer screen, outer space paired with the right soundtrack feels so fucking free and hopeful. There’s so much of it and an infinite possibility of what still is to come. Wow. I love this colossal world and all it might still become.

Having had my bike seat stolen (until I got a bike seat lock) and watched the sculptural change of many more unfortunate bikes over the years, this time lapse of one year in the life of a locked bike caught my fancy.

I REALLY like this video. It was a great way to start my morning. Brian Newman had tipped me to it, but it had sat in my ToWatch box too long. Glad it escaped.

Is projection mapping the greatest thing since sliced bread? How can there be film festivals these days that do not feature this? It is too cool.
