On Thursday, May 2nd at 5:30 pm, we welcomed our third and final addition to our family. And it was another boy!  Quillan Isaiah 6 lbs 10 oz, 19 inches long Jacob was totally enamored with him right away. It took a little more warming up for Jordan to come around. But both boys seem happy with their new baby brother now.

I just had to document this.  This morning the boys were playing on Daddy's "ipad" while we were busy working on things. Jordan was doing a puzzle on there and when he finished Jake said "I am so proud of you!" Melt my little heart!!

It's finally nice enough outside to play at the park! (Even though it snowed yesterday -- this state is SO WEIRD!) The boys have grown a lot since last summer and can do all kinds of new things at the park. Jake can now climb every climbing thing they have there. I didn't realize until today but Jordan is now two and a half years old! Here's a peek at who he is.  Weight: about 24-25 lbs!! Although Easter is my very favorite holiday, this year's Easter weekend was kind of a bummer for our family.  Friday started with me at work feeling absolutely terrible and like I was going to pass out at any moment. Matt had to come and pick me up (an ordeal because he had dropped his car off to be fixed the night before!) and we spent a few hours in OB triage hooked up to the monitors.

Jacob has a My Size Thomas the Train puzzle and he can now do it all by himself! It is 48 pieces!  He also learned how to use his scooter and did a great job scooting around the neighborhood.  Jordan is now able to do the harder of the train puzzles we have (no knobs) all by himself!!

On Friday we got to take the boys to Jake's school's carnival. They had a couple of inflatable bounce houses and slides as well as the usual carnival games. The boys were more interested in the bounce houses than the games, we had to practically force them to play the games too. They earned tokens that they got to redeem for prizes. Thanks to pinterest, I've been interested in making wreaths for holidays lately. I got the inspiration for my Valentine's Day wreath from the site and copied it exactly. I got the inspiration for my St. Patrick's Day wreath in a dream. Random, I know. I love love love the way this turned out.  This one I am not thrilled with. This is the first year we have had an Elf on the Shelf in our home. He arrived the day after Thanksgiving in a package from the North Pole. The boys had fun for Halloween this year, despite the cold and rainy night. Jacob dressed up as a dragon and Jordan dressed up as a lion.
