We looked for a long time to find just what we wanted. We found this set and it was a lot less expensive than some of the other pieces we were looking at. They went together quickly and look quite nice. They are plenty sturdy. We got one for each side of the bed as well as the 5 drawer stands and the 2 drawer bench. Best of all, after a year and a half in the new house our alarm clocks aren't in the floor anymore.

They are extremely easy to assemble. I purchased a rattan basket to put in the bottom opening of each end table, for extra storage (magazines, news paper, etc.) or you can use it for a waste basket holder. I also purchased the matcbing bench which we placed at the foot of our bed. A very nice table. Assemble was easy, with the exception of the plug that keeps the drawer from falling out. Also the farther you pull the drawer out the more it sags down. This can be fixed by gluing a couple of pieces of wood to the inside frame of the nightstand.

Combining solid beechwood construction with a tidy and practical style, this versatile end table/night stand makes a fresh and clean addition to the room. The oversized tabletop features a straight-edged square shape, while below the four rectangular legs host a deep storage drawer and open shelf. This table is a very nice inexpensive piece of furniture. It is easy to assemble and the the lighting inside the table is soft and lovely for atmosphere lighting in a bedroom. It also arrived quickly and in good condition. The finish is off medium quality, but it's pretty rugged for the money.

For the price, these are a great deal! Very easy to put together. It has soft lighting that they give to our bedroom and the light is very unobtrusive if one has to turn a light on when the other is sleeping. We ordered 2 tables that were suppose to be alike, however, one was a darker oak than the other one and the marble top was darker also. We didn't send them back because they were both beautiful so we found different places for them. The slight flare to the legs adds a touch of elegance. My less than perfect rating is due to the shallowness of the drawer. I have a few remotes in the drawer - but they are tiny remotes for a radio and a CD changer. The big universal remotes for TV, ReplayTV, & DVD player won't fit in the drawer because the buttons stick up too much so I mostly stick the absorbent stone coasters in the drawer- but I can only stack them 2-deep!

Maybe its me, but I was expecting something dark brown. The dark walnut looked as if it was dark red mahogany - or real walnut stained with dark red mahogany stain. Side panels were non-uniform in color and with the redishness of the stain makes table look cheap. If the entire table was like the top molding it would be a great table. Mission Natural Console Table: This table is nice for your living room. It matches with your other furniture well and went together easily. Perfect size and excellent value. The only downfall was a tiny little chip on the edge of the top of the table, but I flipped it around and put it to the back and you don't even see it. It was very easy to assemble, I just added a little wood glue while assembling the screws in. It is very sturdy if you follow the instructions and add a little wood glue (inexpensive at any hardware store). I preferred adding the wood glue because I did want it be sturdy. It is a very nice neutral color that matches anything. So far in the 2 years I have had it, nothing has gone wrong, it still is very nice.
