For those of you haven’t heard/read by now Fox will be releasing the two hour Prison Break movie “The Final Break” on dvd and Blue-Ray on July 21st, 2009.

The Final Break will take part right after Michael, Lincoln, Sara, Sucre, Mahone, and C-note were exonerated. It will show you exactly how the death of Michael Scofield happened, and why. Amongst other things. As of now The Final Break will not be broadcasted on TV in the United States of America. So the only way to see two extra hours of Prison Break in to purchase the DVD or Blue-Ray.

Prison Break – Spinoff Spoilers

It’s been quite awhile since we’ve heard anything about Prison Break, let alone the talks of the spin off. While Prison Break itself is set to return for it’s final six episodes, there are rumors that the spin off will be introduced within the show itself.

The folks over at SpoilerTV (a very good spoiler site btw) have released the casting slides to episode 4.23 which introduces quite a few characters. It is believed as of now, that this may be how they are introducing the spin off into the original Prison Break show itself. As we all know, the spin off is set around a female character who is incarcerated. Below you will find the casting information for the characters which are believed as of now to be some of the cast for the spin off.

Daddy - is around 35-45 years old and is a veteran inmate at Miami-Dade Women’s Prison. Tough and powerful, she acts as a “parent” and “husband” to some female prisoners, and offers protection to new inmates.
Warden Alice Simms – is the warden for Miami-Dade. Very insecure, she has higher aspirations, but fears embarrassment when a high-profile prisoner escapes under her watch.
Cowler is a hard-hearted female prison guard who isn’t swayed by the life-threatening condition of a new inmate. (This new inmate could be any female character from Prison Break; they’re not telling.) Within the episode, she later gives way to Gretchen’s charms. (Could the new inmate be Gretchen? No idea.)
Tracy is another female prison guard who appears, at first, to be sympathetic to the new inmate, but is eventually revealed to be a “brutal enemy with a grudge”.
Jenny is a younger inmate, who is pretty and tough but tends to be submissive. She is one of Daddy’s “kids” and tends to cower when reprimanded.
Skittlez is another female inmate in her 30s, who is mentally unstable, overweight and very intimidating. Although she won’t have any lines during the Prison Break episode, she will be attracted to the new inmate.

While this all could very well be the introduction to the new cast for the spin off, I can not confirm this as of now. However, I wouldn’t write it off either. We can very much be introduced to the new Prison Break in episode 4.23 of Prison Break. So April can’t come soon enough!

Also, for those of you who may not be interested in watching a spin off, I say, give it a shot. What do you got to lose? An hour of your time? Please tell me that you can’t make up that hour, and if you do, I’ll take you out for a beverage; and show you how easy it will be to make up.

Fox Cancels Prison Break

Fox will shift the show to Fridays this spring for its final run of episodes, taking over for “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles” once the sci-fi drama finishes its run. Prison Break will air Friday nights at 8 p.m. starting April 17.

Prison Break will air it’s final 6 episodes this season, with the possibility of two extra episodes being added to make it a total of eight(8) final episodes for the series.

Thanks to SpoilerTV we have got some news on the Prison Break rumored spin-off Cherry Hill.

While working on Prison Break: She loved lunch time. Aside from the food, which mom Bonnie described as “Luby’s but portable,” Regan enjoyed speaking with the cast and the crew, especially Heather McComb, who played her character’s surrogate mother Rita. She also got a chance to spend time with stars Amaury Nolasco, Robert Knepper and Jodi Lyn O’Keefe. She didn’t get a chance to meet Wentworth Miller, whom mom playfully referred to as “Mr. Hottie.” But since children Regan’s age are only allowed to spend 8 1/2 hours a day on set (which includes three hours for school, one for lunch and 30 minutes of rest), her time on set was precious. “I was so sad when I had to go. They’re so lucky,” Regan said. But mom said the actor’s average 11-hour days were anything but, saying “I bet they think you’re lucky.”

Scoop: Regan and mom are hoping that the still unconfirmed Prison Break spinoff, rumored to be titled Cherry Hill, is a go. “They’re sending Gretchen to prison. There’s a line in the last episode (the series’ winter finale), where Lincoln says ‘If you don’t talk you’ll get to see your daughter again,’” she said. “So we’re hoping that happens and we get a chance to be in that.”

Behind the scenes: While filming her very first episode, the Prison Break crew was nervous about the guns and violence on the show being exposed to Regan in too harsh of a way; she was usually one of the only children on the cast. “They were very tender with her, telling her not to be afraid of being held hostage,” Bonnie said. But the crew quickly learned that they weren’t dealing with an L.A.-bred child, but with a tough Texan whose dad is an avid hunter who often keeps a gun by his side. “She said, ‘Are you kidding me? I sleep with guns,’” Bonnie remembered.

Prison Break – John Abruzzi Coming Back?

I’ve just read a recent article which is from a swedish newspaper where John Abruzzi, apparently notes that he has been contacted by the Prison Break crew, and informed that they are possibly considering bringing back the character John Abruzzi.

Here is the quote:

I was reading the swedish newspaper Expressen and found an article that says that the Prison Break crew is considering that Abruzzi is coming back into the serie. “I just heard from my manager that they are considering taking me back to the serie”

I’m not 100% sure, but this would be cool.

Nick Santora Discusses Future of Prison Break

Prison Break writer Nick Santora discusses the future of Prison Break.

Nick Santora hints that the writers would stay around as long as the network asks, even though everyone says that Prison Break Season 4 will be the last.

“We will continue to make PB for as long as the network asks us to,” Nick writes on PBreakFans. “But if we are not asked back for a 5th season or a 6th or whatever, that would be the end of the road. But we, as writer/producers, don’t worry about that stuff – we make as good a show as we can and see what happens. The network has been great to us and they are our partners in the show – we will work hard for them and give them a show we hope they are proud of and see what happens. That’s the way it is on every show. You put it on the air and hope for the best.”

Prison Break Episode – 416 “The Sunshine State” Recap

Last week: The General provides Michael with the much needed surgery in exchange for Lincoln getting Scylla back from the buyer who stole it from Gretchen & Self. Mahone gets away from Wheeler & Lang after being taken into custody in episode 414.

This week: Lincoln, TBag, Gretchen & Self travel to Miami hunting down the buyer who has Scylla, while Sara is in some ritzy hotel wondering where Michael is. Sara asks about Sucre but Lincoln has to tell her that he’s gone and he’s (Lincoln), unfortunately, stuck with people he doesn’t trust. He did manage to leave messages for Mahone so he’d know where to find him.

Gretchen did a little digging and found that the buyer made some calls to some nearby club. Lincoln heads over there just before letting Self know he should be thankful he hadn’t killed him already!

Michael awakens in some country home in the middle of nowhere. He gives the place a quick go over before realizing he’s basically been kidnapped – Company folks are roaming around & the doors are locked from the outside. The bad guy walks in with a psychiatrist named Roger Knowlton. He tells Michael that the General wanted him to talk to him about the Company, to answer any questions he might have about them. Michael quickly tells him that he knows all he needs to know including what Scylla really is & that his mother once worked for them. To Michael’s surprise, Dr. Knowlton tells him that his mother is alive, well AND that she STILL works for the Company!

Lincoln arrives at the club. One of the guys there tells him that they aren’t open yet but he explains he’s looking for someone. The girl immediately looks suspicious. Lincoln starts to walk over to her & one of the guys charges at him & of course Lincoln lets him have it just before he dashes hot coffee on the other guy! He grabs the girl, who we later learn is Tia and makes her tell him where to find the buyer.

Michael & Dr. Knowlton take a walk outside. He starts telling Michael that his mother left them because they were in danger; threats had been made on their lives so she felt it necessary to leave. He explains the work she does for the Company. Michael, very skeptical that any of this is true, asks to talk to her. The bad doc tells him that when he’s ready to join her, as in work for the Company, then he can talk to her! So that’s what this whole thing has been about!

Meanwhile, Lincoln & Tia go to meet Erica, the girl Tia said is dating the Scylla buyer. Erica shows up so Lincoln gets out to go talk to her. Just as he approaches her, gun shots ring out! Tia set him up! The buyer was calling the club for her! She hops in the car with whomever was shooting at Lincoln & they get away but not before Lincoln fires off a shot & hits one of them! The getaway car drops Tia off to meet the buyer. Obviously she’s his accomplice because he tells her good work for making Lincoln believe that Erica was the one he was with. Just as she searches her purse for cigarettes, she realizes her wallet is missing! My boy Lincoln! He gives Tia’s info to Self & TBag so they can search her apartment for info. Gretchen tries to get on Linc’s good side by attempting to tell him what Self & TBag have been talking about behind his back. Linc doesn’t bite. I think Gretchen has something up her sleeves… doesn’t she always?

Here are the promo pics for next week’s episode (4.16) of Prison Break titled “The Sunshine State”!

The entire premise of Prison Break has been what one brother will do to save the other brother and even though Licoln’s plan is to get Scylla, get Michael away from the Company & go away for good, this plan has him & Michael at odds in this Fall Finale. Matt Olmstead says “It’s essentially brother versus brother”, as Lincoln takes Self, Gretchen & TBag to Miami in search of Scylla. By the way, one of them won’t make it out of this episode alive!

Olmstead also talks about Kathleen Quinlan & her “history with Michael & Lincoln”, saying they will have a “major personal revelation” where she’s concerned.

Prison Break Episode – 415 “Going Under” Recap

Last week: OMG so much happened, so let’s see! Linc busted Self trying to smoke bomb the warehouse but they let him go. Self kills Viking in a greedy attempt to get the full payoff for Scylla. Gretchen & Sucre beat the crap outta each other, while Michael catches up to Self & snatches Scylla, only to pass out cold and lose it back to Self. The Company kidnaps Michael, takes him to their hospital so they could perform the surgery he needs… of course the price of the surgery is Lincoln getting Scylla back!

This week: Sara walks in asking Lincoln where Michael is. He tells her about the surgery and that it will be performed by Company doctors and that there is no time to come up with other options. General Krantz enters the room & tells Sara that she’ll be treated as a guest during Michael’s surgery. Just as she asks what happens after the surgery, the surgeon walks in to let him know that Michael is ready. Lincoln has this strange look in his eyes as he tells Sara not to worry, kinda‘ like the one Anakin Skywalker had when he started to grow weary of his alliance with the Jedi LOL!

The surgeon explains the procedure to Mike, telling him he’ll need to remain awake during the surgery so he can be monitored. He asks her where he is but Sara interrupts as to not let him know that he‘s in the Company‘s care. The General & Linc debate back & forth about getting Scylla & about Michael’s surgery. He offers Lincoln anything he needs to get the job done, including TBag! When Lincoln walks in, TBag immediately starts groveling. Lincoln pulls out some pliers, lays them on the table then punches TBag in the face. As he continues to be a jerk about giving up information, Lincoln pulls his tooth out! OUCH!!!! He finally tells Lincoln where Gretchen & Self are meeting the buyer with Scylla. Damn, Lincoln’s good as a Company man!

It’s just about time for Michael’s surgery to begin. He makes small talk with Sara before she walks away looking very scared & unsure. Michael doesn’t look so sure either as he gives her a fake smile. Sara questions the surgeon about the procedure they are about to perform on Mikey when she advises Sara that they’ll be using a different technique than what she’s familiar with.

Lincoln meets up with Sucre outside, letting him know that he needs him to finish this. Sucre is very reluctant because he sees this gang dwindling down one by one.

Gretchen & Self argue back and forth about who’s gonna handle what! She attempts to seduce him which doesn’t work very well LOL!

Mahone, in the back of the car, starts running down Federal codes to Wheeler so that he can use the restroom. Wheeler in turn recites a code of his own: run & I’ll shoot you in the back of the head!

Sara continues to question the surgeon about what’s going on with Michael’s procedure. She explains that his cerebral cortex will be stimulated by those metal rods (I think LOL). When his brain loses oxygen, it’ll attempt to continue operating his body, his senses will be working overtime & will literally hit him all at once. At that moment, Michael is back in his old cell at Fox River. He stands, looks around & suddenly, Westmoreland appears! He tells Michael that he isn’t dead but is, rather, there to find the answer to why he’s having this “dream”.

Lang & Wheeler escort Alex to the restroom. Wheeler tells him that he has only 15 seconds – who the hell takes a leak in only 15 seconds… then again, I’m not a dude, so IDK LOL! Anyway, as Felicia goes to check on Alex, he’s coming through the door. He tells her that she should have trusted him the same way he trusted her. A flash back inside the restroom shows that a piece of the pipe beneath the sink is missing.

Prison Break Episode – 414 Just Business Recap

Last week: The guys dealt with Self hanging them out to dry & stealing Scylla. DHS was after them & nearly took them out until a company operative, directed to bring them in, killed Self’s boss. Self solicited an unlikely Tbag for help in getting to Gretchen by kidnapping her sister & little girl after finding out he didn’t actually have ALL of Scylla. General Krantz was still on a mission to regain possession of Scylla… at any means necessary! Self tells Michael that he wants the chip he has & Michael tells him to “come and get it” – can you tell I love that part

This week: Sara is still giving Michael the injections to hold off the effects of the tumor. Lincoln canvases the area around the warehouse when he notices a car that shouldn’t be there. As the guys prepare for a plan to meet with Self, he decides to start sending smoke bombs in the warehouse! When Mike, Sucre & Sara try to escape, they get shot at! Self fires in another “smoke bomb” and just as he’s getting ready to fire another one, Lincoln walks up from behind & smacks him in the head with his gun! GO LINC!!! I love it!

Lincoln brings Self inside & Michael tells him they want to go get Scylla. He refuses so Linc shoves a gun to his face. Gretchen bursts in, guns blazing – she’s on the wrong side but you gotta love this girl! Everyone’s pointing a gun at everyone else (including Sara) as Self tries to explain his way out of being shot. He tells the gang that he’s only selling Scylla to this guy so he can take down the company & get paid. He offers them a nine figure pay off not to turn him in. Michael tells Self that before he agrees to this, he wants to meet the buyer. Self has the audacity to say that this whole thing was “just business” as he leaves. Michael thinks the best thing to do is wait for Alex to meet with his FBI contact & get Scylla back.

Alex is meeting with Felicia Lang, his trusted cohort in the agency. He explains what’s going on and what’s at stake. He asks if there’s anyone in the agency that she trusts… her reply? HIM – ahh how sweet! He thanks her but insists that he really needs help with this, so she tells him that there maybe someone.

Meanwhile back at the ranch – Company headquarters, that is – General Krantz insists the best way to find Scylla is to find Gretchen & Self.

TBag, still holding Rita & little Emily hostage in their own home, starts questioning Rita about Emily’s dad. She doesn’t give up much information, but asks that he please not harm Emily. I think Tbag was a little upset by that, asking if she thought he was some kind of monster… umm, yeah, you think? Although, lately, he’s been having a huge change of heart. He feels as if he’s hostage of his old identity. He wants to be Cole Pfieffer but feels he has no choice but to continue in the “captivity of his old identity”.

Michael & Lincoln contemplate the best way to handle this fiasco. Lincoln wants to sell Scylla but Mike thinks that whomever this buyer is could end up being another General wanting to create another “company”. Sucre texts Mike letting him know that he’s in the trunk of Self & Gretchen’s car. At the same time, Linc picks up a piece of the smoke bomb… problem is, the piece he doesn’t see is actually some kind of camera that allows Gretchen Louise and Self the rat to see inside the warehouse… giving them first hand knowledge of everything the gang does and says!

As Michael prepares for the next phase of the plan, Sara tells him that he’s building up a tolerance to the meds and he can’t have more or it will be more damaging than the tumor itself. Linc tells Mike that he & Sucre can handle the job but Michael insists on going along. Linc walks away upset & Sara tries to get Michael to understand that Lincoln is so worried because he’s simply trying to protect him. Michae’s already done so much for Lincolen and if Michael dies trying to continue on this journey, how is Lincoln gonna’ deal with that?
