From the video you will notice that the words being said in the video are not exactly recognized by the feature that Transcribe the audio.This is the same feature which works on the Google speech recognition.Similarly the Google speech recognition doesn’t works perfect even the searcher is of American accent.So even tough the feature is in beta the same useless technology(Google speech recognition) is being used on YouTube too.

Google instant is a feature of Google search engine which presents the search results as soon as you type.Like you are typing “phenomenon” and it will start displaying the results for the number of words you have typed in.Like for “phen”,”pheno”,”phenom” etc…

Google instant works in  a way to quicken the Google search but it some times feels annoying,especially when it provides results not-at-all relevant to the full word you are going to type(See the images above).It feels like “Am i fool or am i not able to remember the full word ?”….(More posts from category Google in new tab)

More over the Google instant takes more PC memory than usual.Google instant starts searching for every word and hence with even a single word there is a search and usage of memory(Some computers may have low memory and instant might work slow).For all these problems there is a solution or two.

You can disable the Google instant if you don’t need it to ruin your Google searches.Follow the steps:

1.Go to Google search preferences page and click-select option”Never show instant results” or “Only When My Computer Is Fast Enough”.

So after the Broadband connection has been activated by your ISP for use,your next step would be to create a new connection in your Windows 7 Operating system to access the internet.

Read on and follow the following simple steps to create a New Broadband connection in Windows 7(Any edition):

1.Just navigate to right-bottom of your Desktop,click on Tray icon(See screenshot) and then click on “Open Network and Sharing Center”.(Alternative-Go to Control Panel<Network and sharing Center)

2.Now click on “Set up a new connection or network”.

3.Click-select the option”Connect to internet” and proceed to next step.

4.Choose to create a New connect(Most probably you won’t see an existing Broadband connection,in our case we had a connection created before).

5.Your computer will detect all the connected devices,Modem and the services they will be providing,so here it is Broadband(PPPoE) ADSL with user name and Password.Just click-select the Broadband option and proceed.

6.Input the username and password provided to you by your ISP(If not then contact ISP’s customer care for credentials).Name your new Broadband connection and click on connect.

If your ISP didn’t provide you User name and password then your broadband might be of some other kind,like in SDSL or simply Cable broadband no username and password required(Depends on selection done while applying for Wired Internet Broadband connection).

7.Your newly created Broadband connection will start showing up in the right-bottom tray icon,as Currently connected to:

So now you are connected to Internet through your newly activated Broadband Connection.When ever you need to connect/disconnect,click the tray icon<Connection name<Connect<User name and password followed by a click on connect.

But Gadgets plays a major role in the life of a student.Gadgets like Laptop or Tablet are important for students these days.Tablets are not only lightweight considerably they are cheaper than most decent all-purpose laptops.

Educational supplies, and other study materials can often make up more of your study budget than your actual course fees. You will also need a machine to work on. While laptops are coming out with increased features, the price does not seem to be coming down. This is undoubtedly caused by the introduction of the tablet. The iPad captured the imagination of the market when it was released. Now there are many options to choose from. As Windows 8 comes onto the market, we can expect many more manufacturers to produce new and exciting devices. So what is the appeal with tablets to so many students? The answers are not as difficult as they may seem.

• Browsing and reading on the go. If you are getting around between work and business courses, for example, the lightweight nature of the tablet is a must. Your smartphone is still too small to enjoy a read on the subway, and getting out your laptop in such a confined space almost feels like you are getting out your dirty laundry in public. A tablet is more like flipping out a book. Even better, they have high screen resolutions, and have been designed for reading, especially on the move. You will notice how easy they are on your eyes.
• Battery time. Manufacturers may claim they have so many hours of battery life with laptops. Apple has been developing batteries for some time. I am yet to use any laptop that actually delivers on what is claimed. This is not so much the case with tablets. They do have very long battery lifetimes. This is because they do not have to power the mechanics needed to spin that hard drive. Getting through a full day of classes, and getting on with your work in the office, without having to pull out that bulky charger and ask everyone where the power point is, certainly makes you feel free.
• Writing when you need. Most on-screen keyboards are fairly usable. Most manufacturers have got this down extremely well. With additional accessories such as vertical stands and keyboards, we can create something that replicates the use of a laptop. This is very useful when you have those late-night essays to write.
• Applications. Applications are the strength of smartphones. It seems there is an application for everything. They are fun to use, and they are very affordable. With the introduction of Windows 8, the operating system that will run on all devices and allow HTML5 applications to run natively on the desktop, we can expect a lot more on the market. We all know Apple for being the application guru. Google is adding to the mix with many more free and paid applications that run on all devices.
• Cloud computing. Cloud computing is finally here, and it is here to stay. I am using Apple iCloud, and it really works. Documents are on all my devices, and I never really wanted to store them on my computer, anyway. The tablet is built to work with the architecture of the Cloud. This is why they don’t need a hard drive, and why they can be so light and portable. With next-generation networks providing extremely fast speeds, the difference in speed between loading a file from your device and one saved on a server, has disappeared. There is the added bonus of not worrying about accidentally deleting something.

A tablet cannot replace all the work performed by muscular all-purpose laptops. They will not be very good for video editing and design students, for example. For simple video and picture sharing, they will do the job. At less than half the cost of a laptop, for most students, they are simply a very good buy. Not to mention looking and feeling really good.
