Targets: US military personel who served in Afghanistan and Iraq, New York and new Jersey police, and US postal facilities
Arrested: Saturday, November 19, 2011 @ 3:30 PM

The police commissioner identified the suspect as a follower of Anwar al-Awlaki, a radical American-born cleric who rose to become a top figure in al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula. Pimental allegedly tried to contact al-Awlaki directly, but never got a response.
An unemployed native of the Dominican Republican who is a U.S. citizen, Pimentel had been monitored by authorities since 2009 and his extreme positions "made some of his like-minded friends nervous," said Kelly.[...]

"We knew for the last two years, he's been reading a lot of jihadist information and talked a lot of inflammatory rhetoric," Kelly said. "But it appears at this juncture the death of Anwar al-Awlaki motivated him and made him increase his tempo." [source]

Jared Lee Loughner - patsy?

Can one person be in two places at once? Most people will tell you: NO, not that we know of. So how is it, that according to witness testimony, Jared Lee Loughner was at multiple places doing multiple different actions during the same time? Either some of the witnesses are mistaken, or they mistook someone else as Jared Lee Loughner.

Action 1: Jared Lee Loughner stepped out of line and began gunning people down.
Action 2: Jared Lee Loughner was waiting in line with the others when a gunman came and started shooting the place up.
Action 3: Jared Lee Loughner was inside the Safeway store, putting earphones in his ears when the shooting started.

The gunman was thwarted in that effort by four unassuming people who were identified as Bill Badger, Patricia Maisch, Roger Salzgeber and Joseph Zamudio. Not one of them is willing to call himself a hero.

Who are these people?

Witness: Patricia Miasch (61) - Miasch states that she hit the ground when she heard the shooting and that the people around her have been shot. Some men tackled Loughner and one of them told her to grab the gun. She did not. So the man told her to grab the magazine, which she did.
There is another glaring discripancy between her eyewitness accounts. In one story: "When she saw the gunman trying to reload, she made a move to grab the magazine." This is BEFORE he was tackled to the ground. In another account, the gunman was already tackled to the ground.
Why two variations of the story? How did it really happen?

Witness: Joseph Zamudio - He claims to have been in the nearby Walgreens when he heard the shots and came running to help. Strange, that some witnessed reported that the gunman actually FLED behind the Walgreens and was, apparently, not tackled to the ground.

Zamudio said the gunman was already on the ground when he reached him. "I laid on him and held him down, and made sure the gun was down," Zamudio said.

Hmm, interesting...

Witness: Bill Badger (74) - He is a retired Army colonel. Badger claims that after he tackled Loughner, who looked like such a young kid, he asked him why in the world he would do such a thing. Loughner said nothing. This eerily reminds me of when Sirhan Sirhan was tackled.

Witness: Robert Salzgeber - 'Salzgeber was even more reticent, declining to talk to reporters who telephone him and saying the authorities had promised him his name would not be released, according to The Arizona Republic. "I'm totally stressed out about this," said Salzgeber, who was one of the top three signature collectors for Giffords petitions when she was qualifying to run for re-election in 2010. "I'm not interested in talking."'

A member at ATS called StalkingGoogle, has brought up a lot of interesting points:

The gun was only seen in Salzgeber's hand. Badger has only said he saw the gun in Salzgeber's hand. Maisch has only said she saw the gun in Salzgeber's hand. Zamudio has only said he saw the gun in Salzgeber's hand, and he also said Salzgeber said to Loughner "I'll kill you" and was waving the gun around. Three witnesses put the gun in Salzgeber's hand. Salzgeber was the bait and switch, would surely be questioned by the police when three people say he was holding the gun, waving it around and threatening to kill people. Zamudio was one of those people, and had a concealed pistol on the scene, and he talks like he's military (like his father "Colonel Bill Badger"?), so in the eyes of the police he was the "hero".

Note: I looked up Joseph Zamudio on Facebook and look at the very first guy on there. Army National Guard. Maybe the guy on the scene used this guys name? He doesn't look like the same guy though. It's just not such a common name.

As for why I think Zamudio was the shooter, I've already given a couple reasons. He was on the scene with a concealed firearm. So far as I know, nobody else admitted such. He's also an expert marksman, and he claimed in an interview that all his years of shooting (sp) at gun ranges prepared him for that day. If he wasn't shooting, how could years of shooting prepare him for that day? He told on himself, in other words. He also flashed a fist-under-chin at the end of one interview, with his masonic ring quite clearly shown. He also came from the precise location where witnesses reported seeing the shooter disappear, the Walgreens. Multiple witnesses and police dispatchers repeated this claim, that the shooter fled the scene around the Walgreens. How could Loughner simultaneously have fled the scene and been taken to the ground by Badger?[...] Salzgeber, the pigeon, was Badger's backup handler. Zamudio was the shooter.

22-year old co-founder of Diaspora dead -- I'm suspicious.

I was very excited when I first hear about Diaspora, which in my mind would have been a great alternative to the evil empire that is known as Big Brother, ahem, I mean Facebook which is a CIA front (most people know this by now). I dreamed of an opensource social networking type that gave its users more power. If Diaspora caught on and was easy to use, it could possibly have been a threat to Facebook considering that many people are becoming disillusioned with big government and the complete end to privacy.

Today I read that the co-founder of Diaspora, Ilya Zhitomirskiy was found dead of a probably suicide. Oh really? Why would he commit suicide?

I see 3 possibilities:
1) He legitimately committed suicide for some reason.
2) He was suicided (killed off by a rival and made to look like a suicide)
3) This one may be odd or even offensive so I apologize in advance, just bear with me: this is an elaborate publicity stunt to get Diaspora more into the national/international limelight.

Sure, the latter is unlikely but we have to consider all possibilities, right? (well, these three aren't ALL possibilities but the main ones that stand out in my mind.)
Now, I know that young adults and teens sadly kill themselves all the time. But I, being a conspiracy theorist, would like to know more about Zhitomirsky.

I am positive that I am being monitored very closely for the things I write on this forum sometimes. I have had men (with guns on their hips) come banging on the door very late at night. Who are these goons? I have no idea. I've had guys follow me and try to run me off the road. My internet connection keeps shutting off as I'm writing this so hopefully it will be up for a minute so I can actually post this! People want to laugh at conspiracy theorists and call them crazy, but you're not paranoid if they're really following you!

Anyone have any other ideas? Please comment below on your ideas. (I doubt I'm the only one who thought this when first hearing about his death.)

According to one report, Ilya's mother had not heard from him for 3 days and a friend of his broke down his door to find him dead. It is unclear if he was dead for 3 days, 2 or less. Also:

Technology news site Oobly.com wrote that it was deleting a report which said Zhitomirskiy had been planning to end his life and had left a detailed suicide note.

And to throw in another one of my opinions: I don't think diaspora "failed"... it didn't really even start. Speaking in film terminology, I'd say they were in production mode (sent out invites to the Beta version so new users can test for bugs and flaws of any kinds)... they've not yet reached "post-production"... ie. a super-polished version. The "alpha" version. Journalists and bloggers are writing that they somehow failed financially and they might be why he killed himself. I actually think they did a great job for a startup. They were mentioned on many well known news blogs and websites. There are thousands of anxious followers on their Facebook page. How exactly is this a "fail"??? Zhitomirskiy even said, “There’s something deeper than making money off stuff. Being a part of creating stuff for the universe is awesome!"

Who is Indrid Cold?

Indrid Cold is a mysterious figure, a grinning "man", related to the mothman sightings in Point Pleasant, West Virginia in the 1960s.

Several Grinning Man reports were made in 1966, during the same period as the Point Pleasant, West Virginia, Mothman sightings. These reports were recorded by John A. Keel in chapters 5 and 10 of his book The Mothman Prophecies.

The second encounter happened on November 2, 1966. A man named Woodrow Derenberger was driving home in his panel truck after a hard day of work. As he drove up a hill outside of Parkersburg on Interstate 77, he heard a sudden crash. A vehicle was speeding behind him, and it suddenly cut in front of him and slowed down. Derenberger looked in amazement as the vehicle that passed him looked like "an old fashioned kerosene lamp chimney, flaring at both ends, narrowing down to a small neck and then enlarging in a great bulge in the center." The "thing" blocked the road, and a door slid open on the side of it. Then a man stepped out, described as around 6 feet tall, with long dark hair combed straight back. His skin was heavily tanned. He wore an outfit that was made out of some sort of "glistening green material," similar to the outfit worn by the other Grinning Man that was encountered in Elizabeth, New Jersey by the two boys. He was grinning broadly. Derenberger said that the figure spoke to him telepathically and said his name was "Cold" and went off asking him strange questions. Then the strange entity said that he would visit Derenberger again, and he got back in the craft and left.

Another case described in chapter 10 in the Mothman Prophecies happened in the home of the Lillys, a family living in a rural section of Point Pleasant. The Lillys were witnessing strange lights in the sky right above their home at least every night, as well as unexplained manifestations inside of their home. Mrs. Lilly said, "We've seen all kinds of strange things...blue lights, green ones, red ones, things that change color. Some have been so low that we thought we could see diamond-shaped windows in them. And none of them make any noise at all." Automobiles near the Lilly home stalled without explanation; doors and kitchen cabinets inside the home slammed in the middle of the night while everyone was asleep. The living room door, which was chained and snap-locked at night, was standing wide open the next morning, as if someone had somehow opened it from the outside. They heard loud metallic sounds "like a pan falling," and Mrs. Lilly said she heard a sound like "a baby crying" throughout the home. It seemed to originate only a few feet away from her in the house, but no infants were present and she never saw anything. John A. Keel, who personally investigated and questioned the Lilly family, asked them, "Did you ever dream that there was a stranger in the house in the middle of the night?" Linda Lilly, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lilly then confessed her story. She described how she woke up one night and saw a very large figure towering over her bed. "It was a man, a big man. Very broad. I couldn't see his face very well, but I could see that he was grinning at me." Mrs. Lilly said that she heard a terrible scream that night, and Linda ran into her room screaming "There is a man in my room! There is!" She refused to sleep alone ever since the encounter.

The Dead Files (review)

So I've seen every episode so far of a new show on the Travel Channel called The Dead Files. I had some high hopes for this show because I've been interested in the paranormal and spirit communication since childhood. But I was pretty disappointed. Is it entertaining? Sure, it's entertaining (or amusing?) enough to sit through but there are enough problems with the show that I wouldn't go out of my way to recommend it to anyone.

The most glaring problem I have with the show is the so-called psychic Amy Allen, if that's even her real name. She is completely over-dramatic and annoying to boot. I hate how she scrunches up her face in feigned agony and shakes her hands wildly like shes trying to shake spirits off of her. It just looks like a cheesy act. So unbelievable the way she lays it on so thick. Learning body language will help you catch those micro expressions she makes (and can't control) that give her away. She's playing for the cameras. I love/hate how she's completely calm but the second she notices the camera is in her face she has to make an extreme facial expression or say something profound. Give me a break, lady! Also, I find it odd that there's a guy they show videotaping her, yet there is also an invisible camera crew taping him. What's the point of this? This tells me that it's all set up.Unlike Ghost Adventures where the only cameras are the ones the guys bring in-- no camera crew (read more about that below).

Also, something the more logical viewer will probably have asked themselves is: how do we know for sure that the "psychic" (or "paranormal researcher and physical medium" as stated on the Travel Channel site) and the retired NYPD homicide detective, Steve Di Shiavi, have not discussed the case before Amy goes in and does her little act for the cameras. Let me guess: the psychic segment is tapes LAST... correct? On the official website it states: "Amy’s abilities have been studied and tested by leading para-psychologists. She has worked with private investigators, police agencies and has conducted more than 350 investigations in both private homes and businesses." I'd like to see evidence of this.

This could just be another Paranormal State situation where the producers gather all the information about the paranormal activities, feeds it to the "psychic" (Chip Coffey) and he does a great act of being incredibly accurate and detailed.

There are psychics. I don't doubt that at all. And people/shows like this do a disservice to real psychics. They are snakeoil salesmen. Charlatans. Some are pessimistic about paranormal reality tv shows, stating that they are ALL fake. I can understand why they scoff at them, but as someone who studied film/tv production in college, I can tell you: all of these shows will have edits. They aren't broadcast live.

But with TV production in mind, I can say that there are better shows out there. My favorite being Ghost Adventures (which I only recently got into through watching on Netflix; now I can't get enough!) Don't let Zac Bagans hyped up provocative style fool you. Spirits react to provocation, and as he states repeatedly, he only provokes the bad spirits (people who were murderers, molesters, etc.) And what they do that also adds to their credibility is they will often review EVPs on-site. Their injuries are also real. I have woken up with scratch marks that I could not have possibly made myself. And the scratches are so thin. When I scratch myself they are wide scratched due to my short fingernails, not thin spindly. I used to dislike Ghost Adventures, despite never having seen an entire episode. I would catch my mom watching it all the time and I'd watch for a few minutes and took the guys' behavior as frat boyish and not serious ("Dude! [expeletive] What the bleeeeeeeeeeep!?"). But see what can happen when you take things out of contexts. Lucky for the Ghost Adventures is on Netflix.

But back to The Dead Files. Will it last? I think not. It's not really catchy or memorable. Also, I thought to myself: if the show was a little longer maybe they could get more done. Then I realized that the show is an HOUR long, which shocked me. So to me, that just shows a poor concept and format. They're not doing it right. In an hour, you should convey much more information than they do. And it seems they focus more on Amy the psychic than the research done by the retired cop.

I knew I couldn't have been the only one who thought so!

West Memphis 3 Finally Freed Today

Damien Echols, Jason Baldwin, Jessie MissKelley Jr. were freed today after entering new pleas (of guilty) for the 1993 triple murder conviction.
We sure do have a strange justice system don't we? They aren't guilty, but have to plead guilty in order to be freed for a crime which they clearly did not commit.
Glad they were finally freed and hopefully they will find who did this and he/they/she will have his/her/their day in court!

Anders Behring Breivik Massacres over 80 People in Norway

On July 22, 2011, 32-year-old Anders Behring Breivik, dressed as a police officer, arrived by boat on Utøya island telling the people there that he was performing a security check before he opened fire on a Labour Party youth camp using an automatic weapons.

There were 700 teens and young adults at the camp. This shooting rampage lasted for two hours. Breivik has also been linked to the bomb blast in Oslo, twenty miles away Utøya, which occurred two hours before the shooting spree. At the time of this writing, he has killed 84 people total in the bombing and shooting spree. Undetonated bombs were found on the island.

Although only one is in custody, accomplices have not been ruled out.

Anders Behring Breivik operated a farm called "Breivik Geofarm" and people are now speculating that he used this as a front to obtain large amount of fertilizer used in certain explosives.

Someone on the island recognized Breivik from Facebook and named him as the shooter. Breivik studied at the Oslo Commerce School. He is described as a "one-time Freemason" and his Facebook profile claims that he sympathizes with Winston Churchill and Max Manus, an anti-Nazi WWII hero, though Breivik is described as a right-wing Christian fundamentalist extremist. Some were speculating that he is part of some Muslim, al-qaida network because a Muslim terror group claimed they weren responsible for the blast in Oslo, but he is apparently anti-Muslim, pro-Israel.His profile also shows that he is a fan of shootemup games like World of Warcraft and Modern Warfare 2.

My thoughts: Seems the media has to make it known he's blond. So what?! When a brunette or a redhead commits murder, is their hair color mentioned? Jeez! Who cares that he's blond? I guess it's their way of saying it wasn't a foreigner. Why don't they just say that?

If you want to know more about people who do things like this, there's only one book I can think of recommending, and that's Spree Killers: The Stories of History's Most Dangerous Killers by Al Cimino. So hard to put down. I would say I've only heard about maybe a third of the killers profiled. And the others I didn't know were just as shocking as the Cho Seung Hui's...if not more so! You won't believe some of the killing sprees that have happened all over the world. We're not talking genocides here but everyday people who pick up a gun and mow down their neighbors, parents, coworkers and complete strangers. You've got to get that book just to understand the nature of spree killings.

My observations: he states the obvious and is very vague in his "predictions." I was not impressed with him. He was quite dull to listen to unfortunately.

Casey Anthony is GUILTY and will be pregnant in 6 months, and will be interviewed by Diane Sawyer. (Funny thing is I too saw her being interviewed by Diane Sawyer. Maybe it'll happen?)

She IS a medium unlike Jacobs and says unlike most mediums she specializes in contacting spirits after they've crossed over. Is that even possible? I thought once a spirit crossed over, you couldn't contact them?
My observations: She made a lot more predictions than Jacobs but used a lot of safe words like "I feel" or "maybe" or "I think." Why can't these psychics just state things as a fact. like "I'm sure" or "I see X, Y and Z will happen!" ..?

Guest 3: Angela Moore

Get's worried about the future. What happens to us will be determined by our choices.
She tells a rambling Wizard of Oz allegory: We've been going down the yellow brick road and now we're in the dark, scary woods. We're at a crossroads. Looks like a lot of trouble. Were on teh path of lot more trouble and intensity..but we have time to go back to the fork in the road to go back down the better road. We're gonna be in the poppy field where we think everything's alright. We're seducted. We have to keep our eyes on Emerald City (where we're supposed to go.)
We're being activated and made more aware. The new generation being born will be more evolved/tuned in.
Got a thought that the alien beings have respected us, but are going to be forced to reveal themselves to us because of maybe another alien species. (..?)
Increase in anxiety in this country having to do with our livelihood. Possibility of rioting. Three individuals planning some terrorist plot on transportation. A lot of little bangs... not one big bang.
Doesn't feel Mitt Romney will be president.
Like Hancock, she feels that Madrid is going to experience terrorist activities. Also, other parts of Europe, like Greece.
My observations: She spoke way too fast and I didn't catch half of what she was saying because she wouldn't slow down. Seemed like a nice lady but like Jacobs, didn't really make too many predictions.

Show Note: George Noory, yet again, makes his "something-HUGE-is-gonna-happen-sometime-in-the-future" prediction. Eventually, George, yes... something huge will happen. And of course he kept bringing up that people are acting SO weird!

Book Review: Lustmord by Brian King

There's one book that I can't say enough about for people interested in true crime and psychology, and that book is Lustmord by Brian King. Brian King also wrote the introduction to The Sexual Criminal by J. Paul de River, which from the synopsis sounds like an extremely graphic book. not for the easily disturbed. I was surprised to see this because I'm currently studying Handwriting Analysis and this book (Sexual Criminal) was recommended for studying the handwriting of killers. I would go further and state that Lustmord does include handwriting and drawings made by the killers. So I guess I need to purchase de River's book also!

Lustmord isn't you typical true crime book. It's not centered around one or even a small handful of killers, but a long list of them. And what you get is their personal writings, scribblings, doodles and more from well known killers to the lesser known and international (non-US) killers, like the Japanese cannibal who killed and ate a foreign English teacher. I've not seen another book like it. Just one thing to note: the font is quite small, but hey, I guess that just means more content to pour over!

Levi Aron's FULL Confession and the Facts He Left Out (Plus Other Shockers)

The Butcher of Brooklyn, Levi Aron's story of why he killed the little boy came out yesterday. It was surreal. Let's recap:

He was approached by a lost Leiby Kletsy looking for the Judaica Bookstore.
He offered to drive Kletsky, stating he knew where it was but he got lost/didn't know where it was.
He stops at a wedding, leaving Kletsky sitting in his car, but leaves early due to back pain.
He feeds Kletsky a tuna sandwich and lets him sleep over in his attic.
The following morning Aron goes to work, while Kletsky is still asleep in the attic.
The next day he saw fliers stating that Kletsky was missing.
He panics and smothers Kletsky with a towel.
Then he cuts him up and places the pieces of Kletsky into the freezer.

True facts:
On Monday, Kletsky was out of summer camp and to meet his parents at a certain spot but ended up many blocks away.
Levi enticed the boy with TV, which he was not allowed to watch at home.
Between the meeting and Kletsky's death, Levi attended a wedding but the whereabouts of Kletsky is unclear. He was either at the wedding or waiting in Levi's car. Levi did leave the wedding early due to back problems.
Levi stashed parts of Kletsky in his freezer and in a dumpster.

The glaring fact Aron left out: "The autopsy results for Kletzky listed a cocktail of four prescription and over-the-counter drugs in the boy's system: cyclobenzaprine, a muscle relaxant; quetiapine, an antipsychotic drug; hydrocodone, a pain medication; and acetaminophen, the drug found in Tylenol, according to a statement from the medical examiner's office." {source}
Aron also had scratches on his wrist, indicating that Kletsky struggled more than Aron indicated: “[He] fought back a little bit until eventually he stopped breathing..."
There were ligature marks on Kletsky's body which might indicated that Aron bound him up prior to smothering him to death.

Other facts about Levi Aron:

His only other recorded crime is urinating in public.
He is fond of karaoke.
He hears voices and listens to really loud music on headphones to block them out.
He works at a hardware store but has no interactions with customers or co-workers, who labeled him a loner.
Both Aron and Kletsky were members of a close-knit Brooklyn Orthodox Jewish community but it doesn't appear that they knew each other prior to this incident.

My Thoughts: I'm thinking Aron's mention of the tuna sandwich gives us a clue (killers often slip up and give us clues without realizing it!) He probably crushed up/powdered the drugs and mixed it into the tuna salad. Also, I'm reading on the websleuths forum that the NYPD were actually at Levi's home on 7/13, before Kletsky was found dead.

Questions: When exactly was Kletsky killed? Was he still alive when the police came to Aron's apartment? And why were they there? I'm guessing they were going door to door... maybe this is when Levi Aron panicked and killed Kletsky. A lot of people are wondering if Aron molested Kletsky at any point.
Also, were there other victims?
All valid questions to ponder...

UPDATE - Lots more Disturbing info I'm finding:

Apparently, Levi Aron has attempted to kidnap another boy before, in the last two years.... his own neighbor! But the boy's mother, Zisa Berkowitz, was able to fend him off be screaming. (Did she report this? If it's not in his criminal records I would think she didn't. Why wouldn't she report this!?) And he tried to kidnap yet another boy a week before he successfully kidnapped Leiby Kletsky.
He allegedly stalked an 11-year old boy in the Borough Park neighborhood of Brooklyn. Sounds to me like he's some kind of pedophile stalker! He creeped everyone out by staring at the children strangely.
Also one of his ex-wives says that he was physically abusive and she's not surprised. She says that Levi wanted to be famous and was "inspired" by the Casey Anthony case!
Aron wanted to win American Idol and posted love songs to singsnap.com even singing duets with other members. He loved to sing Lionel Ritchie songs.

"My name is Levi Aron... On Monday evening around 5:30 I went to my dentist, Dr. Sorcher, to make a payment for visit for exam routine.

A boy approached me on where the Judaica book store was. He was still there when went out from the dentist's office. He asked me for a ride to the Judaica book store. While on the way he changed his mind and wasn't sure where he wanted to go.

So I asked if he wanted to go for the ride - wedding in Monsey - since I didn't think I was going to stay for the whole thing since my back was hurting. He said ok.

Due to traffic, I got back around 11:30 p.m. ... so I brought him to my house thinking I'd bring him to his house the next day. He watched TV then fell asleep in the front room. I went to the middle room to sleep. That next morning, he was still sleeping when I was ready to leave.

So I woke him and told him I'll bring him to his house... when I saw the flyers I panicked and was afraid. When I got home he was still there so I made him a tuna sandwich....

I was still in a panic ... and afraid to bring him home. That is when approximately I went for a towel to smother him in the side room. He fought back a little bit until eventually he stopped breathing.

Afterwards I panicked because I didn't know what to do with the body.... carried parts to the back room placing parts between the freezer and the refrigerator ...

... went to clean up a little then took a second shower. I panicked and .. Then putting the parts in a suitcase. Then carrying suitcase to the car ...placing in backseat on floor behind passenger side.

... drove around approximately around 20 minutes before placing it in the dumpster on 20th street just before 4th Avenue. Then went home to clean and organize.

I understand this may be wrong and I'm sorry for the hurt that I have caused."

To me it looks like a sick hairless dog or coyote. I wonder if anyone is going to do any testing on the creature before it decomposes. But if it does, we'll probably still have to bone to test.

...not exactly what you think! This is a really interesting documentary I came across on Youtube about IF it's possible to commit the perfect murder.

I don't know about the "perfect" murder but a ton of people have simply gotten lucky and got away with it. Or maybe in sense, those are the perfect murders? That part with the dissolving a body in detergent was really interesting. Never heard that one before. It worked even better than the acid bath, which left the fat. nasty stuff!
Anyone else notice how there are better documentary shows in England than in the US? I only know about them thanks to Youtube. I wish we had better quality non-fiction TV shows. We're too busy with the prosti-tot pageant shows and families that have 100 kids to get attention. Boring and stupid!

Finding Bigfoot: just another unreal "reality" TV show?

I just ran across a post on Cryptomundo, stating that the show is edited to make things look a certain way, when reality is quite different... all this according to leader of Big Foot Research Org (BFRO) Matt Moneymaker. He stated the following:

"Cast member and BFRO leader Matt Moneymaker says, in response to a question about one particular scene with typically grainy footage, “… the thing I ran after up the hill was a human — someone who was sneaking around us in the woods trying to watch the production in progress. I said so repeatedly and vehemently at the time, for the cameras, but they edited out all of that in order to make it seem unclear what I was chasing after.”

But my question is: is this really a surprise to anyone? I expected that some of the incidences in the show are edited in a way to make the viewer suspect there is something there, when there really isn't. Mind you I have a Film/Video production degree... so I guess I can't help but look at these shows from a film-making point of view.

Now this isn't to say that Finding Bigfoot is completely faked... but for Moneymaker to complain about the editing technique is very telling. Most people blame the people who show up on the TV screen if something is faked or exaggerated but the producers have the final say. Not the cast. Not most of the crew. I suspect Moneymaker just didn't know what he was getting into when he signed up to do the show, or hooked up with the networks. This is common in reality TV shows.

This is reminiscent of Paranormal State... which is completely faked. There's a great article about it here (http://www.ghosttheory.com/2008/11/04/paranormal-state-caught-faking-entire-show). It's long but worth the read. It might amaze you just how far they will go. The lies they tell, even to the clients they are supposed to be helping. And the "star" of the show comes of as a total d-bag.

I can't wait for tonights Coast to Coast AM show. The guest is Ken Gerhard and he will be talking with George Noory about "his research into both mythical creatures as well as the tangible evidence for Mothman, Thunderbirds, chupacabras, lake monsters, the Jersey Devil, cryptid cats, and Bigfoot."

I'm most excited about mothman. That's my favorite cryptid and there just aren't enough updates or stories on it. So hopefully a good amount of time will be spent on it. I wonder if there have been any recent sightings. I guess I'll find out tonight.

A man was charged on Wednesday with dismembering an 8-year-old boy, who went missing Monday after becoming lost and asking the man for directions. Levi Aron, the 35-year-old suspect, stuffed the remains into his refrigerator.

Police say the 35-year-old suspect made statements Wednesday implicating himself in the death of Leiby Kleztky, a member of the close-knit Orthodox Jewish community in the Borough Park neighborhood of Brooklyn who went missing Monday afternoon.
At a news conference earlier Wednesday, Police Commissioner Ray Kelly identified the suspect as Levi Aron. Kelly said detectives found the remains in a freezer at the Aron's third-floor attic apartment and in a trash bin more than two miles away, wrapped in a black plastic garbage bag inside a suitcase. Where are the Photos of Jared Loughner on the Day of the Shooting?

Why are there absolutely NO photos or video clips of Jared Lee Loughner at the scene of the crime, in cuffs, or being transported to jail/court, etc. etc.?

I've seen pictures of Giffords moments before the shooting, talking to people, wearing her red suit. I've seen moving pictures of investegators on scene after the shooting. Many photos of even the dead bodies covered in sheets in the parking lot.

But there are absolutely no photos of Loughner being arrested? In this day and age when absolutely everyone is walking around taping incidents of shootings, police brutality and other crimes?

Something is very fishy here!

Jared Loughner's Math Teacher DROPPED!

Here's the story from KGUN9 (they're really on top of the Jared-related stories!) My commentary is in RED:

When Pima Community College math instructor Ben McGahee told the world about his harrowing experiences with his former student, accused mass killer Jared Lee Loughner, the first documented reaction of college administrators was to get annoyed, and to exchange snarky emails about McGahee behind his back. Not surprised since this is what all the illiterate and inarticulate teachers did about Loughner! How childish these teachers are! Having gone through college, I am not surprised at all.
Their latest reaction is more direct.
9 On Your Side has learned that the college has elected not to renew McGahee's adjunct teaching contract, which expired over the weekend. McGahee's name does not appear on the Summer or Fall class schedules. The Summer session starts next week.
In response to an email query from KGUN9 News, Vice Chancellor of Marketing Rachelle Howell denied that the college has fired McGahee, and indicated that the door was still open for his potential return. She said that McGahee has worked for the college "sporadically since 2005." She acknowledged that his current contract as an adjunct instructor has expired, "like that of all adjuncts who taught that semester." Howell did not directly address the question of how and why the college selected McGahee's contract in particular for non-renewal over the Summer term. But she did note that the number of adjunct instructors needed for any given semester depends on the number of students who register.
As for his exclusion from the Fall schedule, Howell wrote, "Typically, new adjunct instructor contracts for Fall are not signed until shortly before the beginning of the semester and continue through registration.... Mr. McGahee is eligible to teach in fall 2011 should the need arise."
But that need has already arisen for most of McGahee's colleagues at the college.
Adjunct faculty members often work part-time. Part-time faculty members at Pima College reportedly outnumber full-time staff by about a three-to-one margin. A random check of 100 employees currently listed on Pima's register of mathmatics instructors shows that about 80% of them have been awarded classes on the college's Fall schedule. Logically speaking, given that full-time vs. part-time ratio, it follows that many if not most of those who landed Fall classes must be adjuncts, like McGahee. The employee directory listings do not always differentiate between the instructors by title and status. But some of those appearing in the Fall schedule are specifically noted as being on the adjunct faculty.
In addition, the college's posted on-line jobs page lists current openings for adjunct mathematics instructors. Hah! There you have it folks. The virtual face slap. The listing describes the location for the openings as "Multiple Campus Locations."
Pima College has not yet responded to a follow-up email from KGUN9 News seeking further clarification.
In her statement, Howell also pointed out that even though he will not be teaching at Pima for now, that does not mean McGahee is unemployed. She noted that McGahee also works as an instructor at a local academy.
When reached by email, McGahee declined to comment on Pima's decision to drop him from the teaching roster.
McGahee burst into public view the day after Jared Lee Loughner did. He gave a number of interviews to the media about his experiences with Loughner, describing the student's behavior as bizarre, frightening and disruptive. I should note here that I've read many comments online that the teacher seemed a bit strange himself... and I have to agree somewhat. But maybe (reading his demeanor) he feared for his own well-being in relation to what the school was capable of. In an interview with Fox News anchor Shepard Smith on January 9, McGahee explained to a national audience the difficulty he had in convincing college counselors and administrators to do something about Loughner.
Remarks of that type are not the kind likely to endear an employee to his or her superiors, and McGahee's comments certainly didn't. As KGUN9 News previously reported, McGahee's appearance that night provoked a derisive exchange between communications coordinator Paul Schwalbach and administrator Karen Lutrick. The exchange belittled McGahee and gloated that he'd had not been a better communicator. Schwalbach wrote, "Overall, the tone was one of self-aggrandizement: 'Because of my intrepid actions, we avoided a massacre at Pima.' Uh, huh." To this Lutrick replied, "Agreed. I must have rolled my eyes 20 times in the 7 minute interview. At least he wasn't eloquent or charismatic." LOL @ the bitchy backstabbing teachers. They don't sound any better than McGhee, who they're criticizing! Maybe they wanted their 15 minutes of fame and are mad not to have gotten it.

McGahee's comments at the time violated a campus-wide media blackout imposed by Chancellor Roy Flores, who issued an edict right after the shooting ordering employees to refer all media inquiries to Schwalbach. What are you trying to hide? After 9 On Your Side revealed the email mentioned above, McGahee violated the ban again by way of an email interview with 9 On Your Side. In that interview, McGahee said that he held no grudge against the administrators who'd exchanged those derisive emails. He then expressed hope that something can be learned from the college's experiences with Loughner. "In hindsight, he should have been treated or evaluated," McGahee wrote. He was very careful not to express any specific or direct criticism of the way the college handled Loughner, and went out of his way to say that he thought Pima Community College was a great place to work. But he concluded, "PCC might have to make its policies more strict."
Pima Community College itself seems to be leaning in that very direction. Last week it announced action steps to bring more expert resources to the table and to improve its method of handling potentially threatening students in the future.
In refusing to allow any of its employees to speak about Loughner, the college has cited, repeatedly, a federal law known as FERPA - the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act. That law prohibits colleges and universities from releasing educational records from a student's centrally maintained file.
The law does not, however, appear to extend directly to the type of interviews McGahee has given. FERPA guidance posted on the U.S. Department of Education website specifically protects the ability of instructors to speak about their experiences with students. It states the following: "FERPA generally prohibits the improper disclosure of personally identifiable information derived from education records. Thus, information that an official obtained through personal knowledge or observation, or has heard orally from others, is not protected under FERPA. This remains applicable even if education records exist which contain that information, unless the official had an official role in making a determination that generated a protected education record."
Under this guidance, it would appear that under FERPA McGahee is able to talk about any matter regarding Loughner except information in Loughner's file that McGahee personally determined, such as Loughner's grade in McGahee's specific class. In his Fox interview, McGahee did mention the fact that Loughner had failed an earlier Elementary Algebra class. Loughner's heavily redacted transcript shows that Loughner did take such a class in the Fall of 2007. The college confirmed on Monday that McGahee was not the teacher of that earlier class, which would appear to leave him free to talk about it under FERPA.
PCC has already faced one public correction for its overbroad interpretation of FERPA. Earlier this month Pima County Superior Court Judge Stephen Villarreal sided with The Arizona Republic, and found that the college was wrong in trying to use FERPA as an excuse to withhold 255 pages of disputed Loughner emails the college was fighting to keep from the public. In his ruling Judge Villarreal wrote, "Simply because emails exist on a central server and in inboxes at some point does not classify those documents as education records."
If, for the sake of argument, Pima is dumping McGahee because he defied the media ban -- is that legal?
9 On Your Side consulted an employment law expert, attorney Don Awercamp. Awercamp says the free-speech balancing test works in McGahee's favor, noting that the topic McGahee was addressing is of great public concern. But he also noted that should McGahee try to defend his rights in court, he's going to have a tough time of it. "It's the employee's burden to prove that it was an illegal motivation on the part of the employer," Awercamp told KGUN9 News. "And that can oftentimes be difficult burden to establish."
Among the emails the court forced Pima to release last week were several documenting McGahee's struggle to get something done about Loughner. Sounds to me that PIMA is embarrassed not to have done anything about Loughner and is taking it out on McGahee.
As 9 On Your Side has previously reported, McGahee's efforts to get Loughner removed from his classroom began on June 1, 2010. That's when Loughner picked a bizarre fight with McGahee over the numeral 6. Loughner, in a vehement but nonsensical confrontation, insisted that the numeral "6" should be pronounced "eighteen," and refused to back down. McGahee was also concerned that Loughner had turned in a math test covered with gibberish, including the words "Mayhem Fest" scrawled across the top. McGahee complained up the ranks. Counselors and campus police investigated but eventually had to tell McGahee that the best they could do was to stick Loughner back in class and tell him to behave himself.
Counselor DeLisa Siddall informed McGahee of that decision by email on June 2. She indirectly acknowledged Loughner's mental issues, writing, "He has extreme views and frequently meanders from the point. He seems to have difficulty understanding how his actions impact others, yet very attuned to his unique ideology that is not always homogeneous." But she concluded that the best the college could do now was to give Loughner a warning. "Since his resolution was to remain silent in class and successfully complete the course, I had no grounds to keep him out of class."
In his response to Siddall on June 5, McGahee did not hide his disappointment with the way things were going. "I talked with Pat Houston on Friday," he wrote. "It looks like the police is not going to follow up with Jared. I really think someone should be in the classroom to assess his behavior. I have no idea what he is capable of doing. I just want our class to be safe. Thanks."
Later, when those words had turned prophetic, McGahee would repeat them to the public by way of the news media.
McGahee is the only one of Loughner's instructors to defy the college's media ban, and to help the public understand what went on between the college and Loughner. At the end of his interview with the Fox News Channel in January, anchor Shepard Smith thanked McGahee, and closed with these words: "One of the great things about America and our system is you can't be punished for something that you talk about."
But in making those remarks, Smith was referencing Loughner's rights. Not McGahee's.
