So Jennifer Hudson has a new Weight Watchers commercial where her new skinny self is singin "I Believe in You and Me" to her old thick self. They're trying to suggest that she looks soooo much better now with her weight loss in comparison to her old, chunkier self. I think they are trippin! All she needed back then was a better weave and a cuter dress... I STILL think she looked better thick.

For the record, I'm not mad at her for doing what she felt she needed to do to improve her health and quality of life etc. All i'm saying is that aesthetically, her physical improvements seem to be more related to wardrobe changes and hair styling than her body shape. But whatever... I'm sure many would disagree with me. In any case, she's still gorgeous, but I think that with a better stylist and some confidence she would have been fine in a bigger size. I just fell in LOVE. Not with a boy, silly. With Nuvo TV's new show Curvy Girls. It features plus sized models trying to make it big in NY and LA. This show is such an inspiration! It features Plus Model Magazine's Madeline Figueroa Jones, Rosie Mercado, Victoria, Denise Bidot (my faaaaave), Lorna and a couple of other gorgeous plus models appear as well.

I love the show because it is quite realistic. There's a bit of cattiness-- Lorna's kind of bitchy, AND apparently another plus model I'm familiar with, Alana Chandler, has some beef with Denise Bidot and comes up while there having lunch, tryna open up a can of whoop-ass lol. This show has it ALL.

There's also some plastic surgery, a dash of romance, and of course... the haters-- Rosie is shooting on the street in NYC and someone calls her big, fat, and ugly... (what an asshole). In any case, I am in love with this show. I'm reading that the showing today is only a preview... so I can't wait to see even more!

When I was pregnant, I shot some maternity with photographer Jeff Cleveland... well today, I was flipping through Sister2Sister Magazine and who do I see? ME!!! They used one of Jeff's shots of me in their health news article. It's on page 72 of the September issue of Sister2Sister with Queen Latifah on the cover. Color me psyched!
