I'm still wearing my skinny jeans most days, but I think that I'll be adding in cropped boyfriend jeans this spring. Previously this cut just didn't seem to work on my body shape. Like, at all, but with the new cropped length showing off a little ankle, I think I'll be able to pull it off this year. I'm not a fan of holes in my denim (I'm good at adding those myself, thanks), but I want something a bit darker, I want a slightly higher rise (no muffin top please) and these look like just the ticket.

I've been using the same purses for work for quite a while. I have a tan tote that is a bit too small and a much bigger tote that is now way too big. This MICHAEL Michael Kors Gilmore Tote is in between those sizes and likely would be a great option for a replacement. It comes in the usual neutral colors (black, tan and brown), but there are also a few fun options like turquoise and tangerine.

The thing I love about the Michael Kors bags is the quality. They seem to last me forever, there are great pockets inside and the designs are classic enough to look current for years.

I fully admit that the Jimmy Choo 'Marion' Sandal is out of my price range. And I would love to have it in 2 colors. Doesn't it look like you could wear them with almost any outfit (at least, any outfit not in the snow)? I'm not sure which color I like more. The nude would go with everything, the purple would be a fun pop of color.

I'm sure there will be similar (and lower priced) options. I'm going to start looking!

You know that J Crew Bubble Necklace that is everywhere? I fully admit to owning 2 of them, but I find them a bit hard to wear. They're big and bulky for work, I lean over to examine a patient and I have to hold it against me so I don't hit the kiddo in the head. At home, my 2 year old just keeps grabbing it and wants to pull it off me. So, they've been relegated to days that I'm not working, but have a "mommy day off". This does happen, but it's really only a few times a month.

The Tasha Frontal Necklace has a similar feel to the J. Crew Bubble. It is big and playful, and there are a ton of options to add a fun pop of color to any outfit. But since it doesn't hang down, it avoids all of the problems I have with the other necklace.

Thakoon's Ivory Draped Dress Two Ways

Honestly, I'm not usually an ivory dress person. I feel like I should be in a courthouse waiting to get married. Or at tea with the queen. But something about this Thakoon dress had me at hello! I think it's the blouson top with the draping on the sides, it feels very modern.

I've styled it two ways. The first is a fun and colorful look. The B Brian Atwood Laplata Sandals have laser cut leather in a vibrant purple. I love the Twisted Brass Bracelet by Kelly Wearstler, it would look amazing crawling up the arm. Finally, I love the added pop of color from the Milly Zoey Clutch in Hot Pink.

This would be great for a party or a dinner out.

Next, I thought the dress was begging for a quiet and elegant look. I love the dark green in these Alexander Wang Emma Ankle Strap Pumps. I managed to find the matching Tory Burch Evening Roll Clutch, and while I usually don't like to be so matchy-matchy, I thought for this outfit it would work. I also love the pave look in the Rebecca Minkoff Pave Chain Link Bracelet and matching Pave Chain Link Necklace. I think I would wear one or the other, not both. This look would be perfect with a dark red lippie!

When I was a baby, my mom took me to swim lessons. Yes, the cute ones shown on tv with little babies swimming like fish despite being under 1 year of age. So, I've signed up my little peanut now that she's hit the 6 month age minimum.

That means I need a swimsuit to wear.

I've read about finding great post-partum swim wear, though I think the ruched option is the way to go for me. I'm actually back to where I was pre-baby, which is not as toned as a super model (I'm a normal sized person that eats food), though I don't really want to be showing off my tummy to strangers in a pool. I'll be distracted by preventing my daughter from drowing. While she's a wet, slippery and wiggling baby.
