Yes, because I can, I will again.

A baby/fetus/embryo or whatever is not actually a part of a woman's body. It's separate. It has it's own unique DNA, not shared with the mother. It also has its own supply of blood, not shared with the mother. While it relies on the mother for a period of time, abortions can occur when the baby can live outside of the womb.
A bald eagle egg is not an adult eagle, but (legally) it is recognized as having the potential to be an adult eagle. It's protected by law. You will go to jail if you break the egg. Why? because what is inside the egg is an eagle, even if it is the embryonic stage. Why should humans be treated differently? The argument of humans not being endangered is irrelevant. You must make the assumption that those who were killed without having the chance to grow up and make a difference in our world wouldn't also be able to create a sustainable future.
It takes two to make a baby. Why should the woman alone be allowed to kill her offspring? In adoptions, the male has to sign over rights, but he has no say in whether his unborn child can live or not?
There is no reason for an abortion to save the life of the mother if the life of the baby is viable. As a parent, if there was a tornado coming for you, would you not shield your child rather than expose them to the elements?
Babies can be male and female. A true supporter of reproductive health/women's rights would not be condoning the death of women by women.
Lack of respect for human life (and if a lack of a heartbeat in a person signifies death, the detection of one signifies life) leads to destruction in society. Abortion becomes a convenience or an excuse. More horrific violence increases.

As a woman, I have the right to make decisions about my body. As a pregnant woman, I realize it's not just about me. There is another person, another body, inside of me that doesn't have a voice and I shouldn't assume it doesn't want to have one by having its voice cut from me. I exercise my right to choose - LIFE! No one should be given the right to murder.

I think it hypocritical to say you shouldn't be able to govern other people, but by allowing women to choose abortion, they are doing just that. They are governing the lives of other people and not just governing, but silencing and destroying.

Same-Sex Marriage and Why I oppose it

I've decided to write a blanket post, so when people ask me directly, I can direct them here. First off, I'm not a Bible thumping knock-on-your-door screaming that you'll go to hell unless you accept Jesus as your savior type of person. No, that's not how I do things because that's not how I think Jesus saves people (salvation is not a work of us).

One thing I do not do is completely ignore others who are begging for answers or are wanting an opinion (even though what I give as my honesty may not be what they want to hear). I can, most whole-heartedly tell you that my faith and conviction shows me that homosexuality is a sin and same-sex marriage is not marriage at all. It's not normal. Don't even try comparing it to nature.

Jesus promoted salvation, but that salvation can't be had without repentence. Many people reference Jesus when he said "He who is without sin among you, let him be the first to throw a stone at her", saying we shouldn't be judging people. Yet, Jesus told the woman "go and sin no more." It has absolutely NOTHING to do with hatred, but rather the inability to recognize what is natural and sinful. I am born with the desire to sin. That doesn't mean I should be acting on it or disregarding the Bible's instruction (and there are many verses including Romans 1, Jude 1:7, and Hebrews 10:26-27). "If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God." Sin is anything that is contrary to the will of God. You can say homosexuality is not "wrong", but that doesn't make it not a "sin". And while marriage is not just about sex, I'm not sure how it's possible to "be fruitful and multiply" when with humans, to people of the same gender are incapable of multiplying (without scientific intervention obviously - you can get donor eggs/sperm). In addition, how is it natural to kill out one's species? People joke about it as God's way of creating population control, but that doesn't make sense as he clearly says in his Word that male+male and female+female relations are not natural and he has said more than once to "be fruitful and multiply", so why would there be a need for population control in the Bible (and homosexuality is clearly practiced by the heathens)? God doesn't contradict himself.

The Bible is consistent from the Old Testament through the New (yes, male+male and female+female relations are listed as unnatural in the New Testament). Everything must be understood in context. So if you want to get on the topic of polygamy (cause I know you want to go there), the difference is that in the OT, God doesn't really speak on it being okay, but in the New Testament you see a clear shift where elders should be the husband of one wife and Paul is always singular when he addresses husbands and wives, and when he is ever plural it is clear he is talking about groups (i.e. all the spouses in an assembly). Remember, God clearly created Eve for Adam, not multiple women. Childbirth was not the same pre-fall and we can't know what type of relationship they had, but we DO know they were made for each other. Anatomically MADE for each other. God allowed polygamy for a time (a variety of reasons could be assumed including increasing global population, protection, provisions, etc), it was not a part of his original design and definitely it is not insinuated in the New Testament as being something "okay".

I can't make anyone believe that homosexuality is a sin, no more than I can make people believe abortion is murder or that God exists. I believe that people's hearts are hardened. I am incapable of unhardening them. That must come through conviction by the Holy Spirit after the gospel has been presented. Then, obviously, some choose to ignore the conviction and go their own way. Just as wanting to help an alcoholic with their addiction, they have to recognize they have a problem before they get to the point where they want to do anything about it.

It's not hatred, it's love. I don't want anyone to go to hell. It's not intolerance. It's conviction. I'm not saying that same-sex people are incapable of loving each other and what they feel for each other is not real. I'm just saying I don't believe it's normal. You can legally have sex with a goat in 16 states. That doesn't make it normal (or right).

I'm also not being wishy-washy on how I feel. This is how I have been. Always. I'm not going to change. If anything, I'm only going to become more defiantly conservative.

Also, thank you for sharing. Let the whole world know I'm not afraid of my beliefs. I consider it empowering. +1 to God. I made an impact, however small, that drove you to share it.

Abortion and Planned Parenthood

So this is how Planned Parenthood defines abortion (which, for the record, has nothing to do with parenthood but assisted murder), "a suction machine gently empties your uterus". Seriously. You'd have to be a complete idiot to not realize that there is a life in the uterus before it is sucked out. Their site lists abortion as an option for pregnancy. I know some people think they don't have a choice and may not be able to afford/provide the love a child needs, but there are plenty of people who wait years to adopt and would love to have a child that would otherwise have its life exterminated because someone thought it was a good option. It costs less to end a human life than it does to create one for women struggling with infertility (and that is the honest truth). Why doesn't the government fund programs that help women with infertility? They can help people with diabetes, cancer, abnormalities like a deviated septum and cleft pallete, yet helping a woman achieve the MOST fundamental aspect of life (reproduction) is off the table. So I'm saying this because it's become a problem. I am sick and tired of reading about "tolerance". Why? Because the people who speak about "tolerance" are the same ones that have dropped me from voice acting roles, removed me as friends on Facebook, and told my friends to "go to hell".

Intolerance: unwillingness or refusal to tolerate or respect contrary opinions or beliefs, persons of different races or backgrounds, etc.

So I have contrary beliefs and you call me intolerant, yet YOU are the one not tolerating ME.

I tolerate you. I can have different opinions and voice them, but that doesn't mean I don't tolerate you.

Female Ordination

There's a group on Facebook (and they have their own website) called Ordain Women Now (in the LCMS). I posted on their wall because it infuriates me.

There is no such thing as a female pastor. "Call" it what you will, it is a figment of the imagination. There is most definitely no such thing as a "female LCMS pastor" or an LCMS group that wants female ordination. There are people within the denomination (this OWN group). That's not the LCMS (i.e. speaking on behalf of) and I pray it will never be. Because, as many others said, I would not be an LCMS member. I would be a WELS member, as would probably much of the synod as well. So in reality, you would be better off making your own synod because LCMS would be rather empty, I'm sure. There is nothing wrong with NOT being a pastor. Everyone and every gender has their God-given roles.

So you wonder why I might have allowed myself to create an ELCA website with a "female pastor"? I figured at least people would get exposure to the gospel. Trust me, I was very back-and-forth on it. But I figured some exposure for people was better than no exposure, and hopefully the conviction of the Holy Spirit would lead them towards a non ELCA congregation.

Suicidal Bikers

You know exactly what I'm talking about. Those guys who operate the super futuristic sports bikes that fly down the highway, weaving in and out of traffic.

I would say they are suicidal. They are just waiting for someone to change lanes and not realize they are going 20-30mph over the speed limit.

Another thing that drives me crazy are the people who bike without a helmet. I'm sure you really want your brains to paint the pavement. I'd rather not be witness to it.

So I got another warning at the CF. This time for telling someone they shouldn't talk about their beliefs to others because they might think they had some mental issues. I got the warning for flaming.

Of course then after I posted they admitted to having a disability and mental issues...and that she would never get pregnant but was on birth control.

I might have crossed the line by saying "Well, you don't have children because according to your beliefs they would be aborted because you have a disability and couldn't raise them and they would be messed up."

However, I think it needed to be said. Life is a beautiful thing. She wouldn't exist if her parents believed what she did.

The KJV is the end all, be all

I'm so sick of people trying to debate that the KJV is the only translation that contains "God's Truth". Personally I never stick to one translation, but compare. This person posts a link (http://www.av1611.org/kjv/counterfeit.html) about Luke 4:8 in KJV and the site says "Many counterfeits remove the words "get thee behind me, Satan".

I find it ironic they only cross-examine with the KJV. Not the original text. The person was talking about writing in Hebrew, but the NT wasn't written in Hebrew.

In fact, the Latin Vulgate (4th century)reads "And Jesus answered and said unto him, it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve" (Google translation from "et respondens Iesus dixit illi scriptum est Dominum Deum tuum adorabis et illi soli servies"). In the 1500s it was translated into Douay-Rheims "And Jesus answering said to him: It is written: Thou shalt adore the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve."

To be spouting off things like "Why his gospel needs updating I don't know." not taking into consideration the KJV is an update just gets under my skin. How thick can a person be? The 1611 KJV is not "that" old! I would also pretty much guarantee he doesn't have an actual 1611 which includes the Apocrypha.

He goes further by saying "stay away from these Bibles that omit verses or change things around."

How about ADDING to verses?

"Soul-Winning"

Predominantly a new concept, I’m sure you’ve heard of churches where there are altar calls and praise reports about how someone led someone else to Christ. Even so much as people call it “soul-winning” (even the LCMS - but the Lutheran definition is completely different). It’s completely un-Biblical if you think you play any part in a conversion experience.

Why?

The Holy Spirit works through the presentation of the gospel.
Faith is a result of the Holy Spirit’s work.
Salvation is solely a work of the Holy Spirit by grace through faith, not by us.
Anything we do for Christ is a result of the Holy Spirit (we are an instrument of God).

As Paul says, we plant the seed and can water it but God gives the growth. The planters and waterers are nothing. Of course, when all you are worried about is “soul-winning”, there often isn’t even water.
When you receive a gift, how often do you keep the wrapping paper?

"Getting Saved"

The phrase "I got saved" annoys me to no end and just about as much as people who talk about "accepting Christ".

That would be fine and dandy, but you can’t accept Christ, nor can you actively participate in your own salvation. If you could solely play a part in your conversion experience it would be a work. You can’t even believe in Christ on your own. That’s all the work of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit works through the presentation of the gospel in our hearts. The Holy Spirit imparts faith. The Holy Spirit gives us the power to believe. Salvation is grace through faith by the power of the Triune God.

Homosexuality in nature

I was in a discussion about homosexuality being a sin in the Christian Forums. A humanist came in and was trying to justify it being normal through animals in nature. Apparently animals have had homosexual tendencies. While that may be true and all, it amazes me that people try to justify human behavior based on animal behavior. Humans were created in the image of God, animals were not. Animals live based on instinct, and humans do not.

Even if you wanted to apply science to this animal behavior it fails to be "normal". It makes absolute perfect sense that a species would WANT to annihilate itself, doesn't it? If it isn't asexual, it depends on the other gender to procreate and "survival of the fittest" would not apply because they do not want to survive.

I would assume the general consensus in science is that humans and animals seek to find better ways of surviving. Limiting the gene pool and reducing the population does not make sense. If we left this "natural" subject up to science, it would seem that through natural selection, humans don't want to exist (at least the ones that support and promote homosexuality).

It's comparing apple and oranges, but if you really want to compare, consider that it scientifically makes no sense for a species to want to annihilate itself by not reproducing (perfectly in line with God's command to "be fruitful and multiply").

A two-headed turtle can certainly exist in nature. That doesn't mean it is normal.

So I don't know who in their right mind decided to have both sides of 35 at the 675 interchange go down to one lane simultaneously. I would assume they weren't in their right mind when they made that decision. That by itself doesn't annoy me though. What annoys me are the idiots who decide to drive up on the other lane all the way until they get to the end of the lane to merge over. There are signs posted warning of the lane closure way before (at least a mile before). Not only that but the reason why traffic is slowed down is to let these goofballs in. If that weren't bad enough, then you get people like the woman behind me the other day who honked every time I let someone in (including those merging from the on-ramp). Then of course you have the people who start merging and then people behind them who can't wait two second and try to go around them, or the people who leave the lane to get in the on-ramp lane so they can make it look like they are trying to get on the highway so people won't get mad.

Warren County cops are able to club a bird to death rather than shoot it if it's injured. Apparently this is their proper protocol.

A woman in Hawaii clubbed a peacock to death (because it was sqawking) and she is in court for second degree animal cruelty.

In South Africa there were dozens of beached whales and they weren't able to get back into water and they were suffering so they were shot (in the head).

Ian Klopper of the National Sea Rescue Institute:

"The most humane way to perform euthanasia on whales is to shoot them through the brain and this was successfully performed on those whales suffering on the beach. We wish to stress emphatically that the most humane effort was employed to prevent further suffering of these animals," he said.

I fail to see how clubbing a bird could be the most humane way to kill it.

Kids on the road

So I am no longer in Genesis Avalon with Pendant Audio. There were religious slurs in there for my character and I don't give a crap if it's PG-13 and it's "my character", not "me". It is still coming out of my mouth and I told the director I wasn't about to break a ten commandment. In my mind there is never a necessity to swearing. You can be mean and rough without using the Lord's name in vain or using foul language in general. Things like this drive me crazy. Have you watched a movie that had so much swearing that you shut it off because it gets to the point of being annoying and interfering with what could have been a good movie?

Abortion Double Standards

The Unborn Victims of Violence Act of 2004 (Public Law 108-212) is a United States law which recognizes a "child in utero" as a legal victim, if he or she is injured or killed during the commission of any of over 60 listed federal crimes of violence. The law defines "child in utero" as "a member of the species Homo sapiens, at any stage of development, who is carried in the womb."

How the friggin hell is that any different from abortion - "ANY stage of development". If a unborn baby can be a legal victim in a crime, how does that make the unborn baby "civil rightless" and thus easily subjected to an abortion.

If I were an unborn baby and I had a choice I'd rather be killed in a crime than have my body parts sucked out by a tube.

This guy who produces The Kingery in Pendant (audio group I voice for)...anyway he died and many people donated money to the Iowa Food Relief Fund in his honor and made sympathy comments in a special episode of "this week in Pendant" (TWIP).

Anyway....

He faked his death! Apparently he was depressed and was at a very low point and didn't think anyone would care if he died...so he wrote a letter to Pendant (probably in someone else's words) that he died.

Now, almost 6 months later, he's saying he's sorry. He's got a girlfriend now and his life is back together. I'm sorry but if my "boyfriend" lied to hundreds of people and made them all think he was dead, I wouldn't ever be able to support him doing that or ever trust him.

Yes I forgive you. No I do not and will not ever condone what you did.
