I hear alot of debates about Google taking over the internet services, digging into thier terms of use and other things, other debates about Google VS MS , but i dont that this is the case anyway.

What i can see is that every company has thier own team of creative and very experienced people to come up with things like Visual Search on Bing.com , even if i didnt like the idea of it , as it is more for people who wants to spend fun time searching for something, but it is a good useful idea for some categories.

in the same time, and this is what i was going to talk about is the Web Flipper from google (GoogleFlip), i found it an amazing service, which shortly is a place where you can flip Magazines and blogs online like you are reading a newspaper or a normal magazine, you can favourite a link , you can Email it, alot of categories to choose from , and it is still under GoogleLabs so you can expect more.

Why find that Useful ?

You may say "it alittle bit interesting but not showing what i like best" , well it gets more interesting as it learns from links you flip and open , and in no time starts to show more of what you like, and that makes it awsome actually.

So TEST-DRIVE it.

I guess this is one of the amazing news for Ferrari lovers, to see that one of the legendary cars of this manufacturer comes back again as the most expensive car ever baught.
the 1957 250 Testa Rossa was bid on it till they got to 11 and a half million dollars, one of the best car legends specially in LeMans races , and other tournaments around the globe.

Whats That all About ?

Now the Testa Rossa is a 3.0 Litre engine with a 12 cylinders , 300 BHP, but this is not the catch actually, it is about how rare it is, as there is only 21 cars made of it , and a little number is still on earth , owned by collectors and they will never SELL , so i guess we all get it now for a car like this to be auctioned nowadays.

By the way, the title of the Most Expensive car in the world before was for Ferrari too , and it was for a 1961 Ferrari 250 GT SWB California Spyder, sold for 10 million dollars in California.

How Hard can it be ?
As much as the owner of this car now is happy to have it, i dont think it is that easy for him to ride his 11 Mils car and go for a normal drive trip, knowing that this car can give him the speed he wants , but in the same time it got a 50's brakes and suspension, well good for him to keep washing and waxing with a smile on his face than going for a ride :)

In the middle of all debates running in the streets about Hybrid Cars, and how if they are good enough to be baught , rumers about thier expensive battery, and the cheapness compared to other gasoline powered ones.

The TESLA motors started to shine as a fully electric operating vehicle with all means, raising its reputation as a very effeciant car for every one who owns it, going from 0-100KM in 3.9 seconds and with a very sporty look and feel.

For that, BRABUS came on to let this car shine even more, to leave its touch on the vehicle with all front and rear carbon fiber bumpers, Space Sound Generator, which roars like a V8 engine depending on how much electric power is coming out of the TESLA's engine.

More to that , BRABUS enhanced the TESLA Roadster with light seats, floor , and thier logos on the rocker panels to give the driver a feeling of exclusivity while driving it.

Dodge Viper to be Sold (Old but Personally Shocking News)

OH my god, it is nearly official now in this september that dodge viper will be sold to DMW for a serious bid of 5.5 Million dollars, which is more than shocking for me to sell this legend for what i call a cheap deal.

I mean who would believe that Viper , the american muscle comes to an end with an american sportcar maker that (With all Respect), doesnt even compare to Chrysler.

We all remember the "Viper" series, and other film making it was in, this car was the last thing i wouldve imagine Chrysler would sell.

But anyway, the DMW are not little, but mainly into sport cars only , so i guess the viper is going to shine again with those guys, or planned to be forgotten so it wont appear again, lets hope not.

Dear Friends,

As Benz is always on the move for a new style of their automobiles, and how much innovative they keep things from other manufacturers, but still they kept an eye on the trends nowadays of going back to old classics and freshen them up for a new age.

the new SLS, specially the AMG is the grandson of the 300 SL, for anyone who doesnt know it , it is one of King Hussien's favourite cars, and it exists now in the royal exibition to check , a silvered color one.

this new car as Benz planned to make it the major presenter in Frankfurt AutoShow, it is really a stunner , roling the other new models of mercedes to a higher level.

Mercedes Benz with all its ellegance coming out of the product line , and good engines that last long , there are still some owners who need more from this german machine , for that alot of companies where in for the challange of giving this ride the best looks and feels.

the most 8 amazing Mercedes tuners in my opinion as follows :

1. AMG : came from a company that tunes Mercedes engines to the official tuner of all models that come out these days.

2. Carlsson : a very competitive tuner these days , with very elegant and aggressive designs, the company was founded in 1989 and till now it takes one of the top Mercedes tuners, and for a german tuner , the company was named after a swedish rally driver INGVAR CARLSSON.

one of the beautiful cars i saw from Carlsson was with the partnership of Aigner, the CK65 RS

3. ASMA : Even this company is not as old as the others but still , it has its own touches that no one can forget on the Mercedes models , 3 of my favourites are :

- SHARK II

- CL ASMA

- Perfectous SLR

4. Fab Design : What this company has is its uniquness in design , you will recognize a FAB Mercedes coming from a far distanse , and honestly they have one of the best rims i saw on a mercedes either 18" or 20" .

5. Lorinser : "PERFICTING WHAT IS ALREADY PRECIOUS" , it is thier nice philosophy , i dont have too much to talk about this tuner , but it has small modifications on engine and body that will catch the eye even if it is not much , this car is for people who like thier car tuned but not much changed in the outside.

6. Kleemann: this tuner is more about whats under the hood , how fast you want to go with your ride , not many designs to look at , but still has its own taste.

7. Renntech: as long as you are interested in facinating engine and butterfly doors , this is a car to own .

8. Brabus: founded 1977 and this tuner got everything you will ever look for , models , designs , and engines .

As much as we heard and read about automobile companies and thier problems like the mighty GM , Ford , and Crysler, there will be always another part of the equation to balance it up , and in our days it is the japanese and korean automobiles rising fast and strong actually.

Honda , Toyota , Kia , and Hyundai , "And yes am excluding stupid Mazda and what they ended up with after being joined to GM , and that of course includes Daewoo too".

all these companies really had a chance and took all the advantage of it, and as a guy who likes muscle cars , i didnt expect to find a korean performance car to satisfy my standards ......... but surprisingly ...... I DID !

Hyundai threw a concept in 2007 , which i laughed on it like every concept they make and bring to autoshows, but this time i think they took it seriously , GENESIS Coupe 2010 , a real beauty coming to the streets.

Two engines are installed into this ride , i am interested in talking about the 3.8Litre one , this engine has 306 bhp and gets from 0-60 in less than 6 seconds.

you may say "thats not enough from a 3.8Litre engine", let me give you why it is enough and how it is enough:

1- Continuous Variable Valve Timing is installed

2- Variable Intake System is installed

So what does that mean ?

those two technologies were exclusively made for the HONDA engine, now Hyundai got it .

Whats it good for ?

Better performance, better acceleration , and best fuel effeciency.

what else in that car ?

steering is engine-RPM sensing, higher RPM means more resistance for the steering wheel , and visa versa.

And thats for how much ?

Expected Pricing: $22,000 to $34,000 .....................

Detroit's Big TWO???

As i was looking all over the auto news the other day , i was shocked with what i read , the "Detroit's Big Three" is going to be "Detroit's Big Two", GM (General Motors) is negotiating Chrysler about merging indeed with a 49% of GMAC (General Motors Acceptance Corporate) .

If you don't know what that means , merging those big automakers , will have a lot of effects on brands that could die , and others that would be sold , plus that it is very obvious that cars made by GM had a different taste that any other car from Chrysler or ford.

but reasons why this is happening comes clear :

- GM in the last 2 years dropped from controlling 55% of the American market to 22%, for many reasons like Gas Prices , as most of their cars are depending on big engines , and that makes TOYOTA and HONDA really big competitors in the states , and TOYOTA is trying to get the title of the biggest automaker in the world from GM after holding it for more than 70 years.

- Chrysler in the other hand is not in a better situation controlling 20% of the market , but getting down to 11% only , actually they are some shocking facts for me .

my personal opinion , DONT DO IT PLEASE , i really like it the way it is , BIG THREE for everything , BIG TWO wont sound good.

True , cant imagine how true this can be when you face a lot of options , that instead of extending your horizons and give you more chance to think, it controls your mind with bad ideas about failure and not doing it the right way to the top.

in the same time , a human with no choices, and you may make that a human with only a few options , rises with his concentration to the max , to get to what he wants from what he has in his hand .

this brings you to the weakness of the human mind , a mind does the thinking, the logic, the math, but it cant give you an intuition that some idea will work and some will not, it may give you away to reach a good intuition , but sometimes even logic fails to.

bottom line of this : if you took a way to live ,forget about other ways, it must lead you somewhere if you have the guts and the determination to reach a good spot in this world..... MUCH LOVE

Propel ORM FrameWork

As i had my own experience with this tool , which is mainly a way of dealing with the database using XML , thats the nice small description , a detailed description will be a Framework that gives you the ability to deal with database using a set of models to retrieve and store data .

My opinion in the other side is , a pain in the ass that you dont need to deal with if you dont want to convert databases or shit like that , anyway as i had to deal with it , i said to myself why not posting some nice small tutorial that can be discussed if anything cant be understood, Installation and Setting Up of PROPEL :

Installation, setting up propel :



1. check for the newest version of PHP.



2. download phing if you need to generate the xml file of the database.



3. download propel the latest version.



4. check that you have the ability to write and read on the project directory.



5. Create the build.properties file, a simple example will be :

	

	# The name of the project

	propel.project = synsyn



	# The database driver

	propel.database = mysql



	# The connection parameters (optional, but required if you want to initialize db)

	#

	# This is the PDO DSN (see online docs http://www.php.net/pdo for more info)

	#propel.database.url = sqlite:/path/to/bookstore.db

	# Other examples:

	propel.database.url = mysql://root@localhost/soso



	# For MySQL or Oracle, you also need to specify username & password

6. on a terminal do the following to generate the database xml file

7. then do the runtime-xonf.xml , this file is important for generating the rest of the classes

	for dealing with the xml file of the database, ex:



        Can be found on the PROPEL website .



8. in the command line terminal again , go for



	-> $ sudo propel-gen /to/path/project-name



9. if everything done properly , the last command will generate all the files and classes needed

	every table in the database SOSO as we called it .

Mercedes E190 COSWORTH

I have been a fan of this legend since ever, and despite the fact that all the Jordanians looking towards owning a Mercedes, but it is more than just the look of it, or how much it is bought .

Owning one of the legendary cars like the COSWORTH E190 , is a history by itself, the car i am talking about was specially made for drivers not for car buyers and users, big difference !

Here in jordan, King Hussain started this trend, but unfortunetly wrongly understood, guys made of any mercedes specially the normal 190 a COSWORTH look and style , in the attempt to reach a quality level they wont ever reach, sadly speaking.

Anyway, the 190 i am talking about is a 2.3 litre engine with a 190 hp made as a standard design for rally reasons , and it collected a number of trophies that time , but why turn it to streets?, well in the time the 190 was shining , Audi another company i respect , poped out its new rally QUATTRO which was and still in our time one of the best rally cars ever .

Mercedes with a clever way, turned the COSWORTH to streets to be the drivers' wish to drive car , and it is 'At Least My Wish :D'

For People In general Who wants to know why i love this Brand , here is some details :

1. Test it yourself : ask any girl , guy , man , woman , every one of those sees something different in any mercedes , a guy would say it looks aggressive , a girl would say it is pretty, nice , or girlish, aman would say it is elegant and comfortable , a woman would say it is made for ladies, IT IS ;)

2. Reliable , Freaken reliable if u got a new one or a used one but knowing its past.

3. 180 degrees of Wheel Space, man there is no hell of car that does that yet , it has been in mercedes since ever .

4. Not a BMW , and tell me if you want to know why.

Review: Chocoholic Cafe'

Last saturday , me and friends went to a cafe' recommended by some guys , it is called Chocoholic , located in AlWebdeh Mountain .

The Cafe' is very small actually , it gives you a very nice feeling like home , when i first entered it , it has that cool view from the outside , and some cool metal chairs with maroon leather on it , very comfortable .

Even we had to sit inside , as the whole tables outside were reserved, the lightness was giving a warm atmosphere of calmness all around the place .

Ordered some MOCHA, didnt taste that good actually , but a friend ordered a thing that i cant call a beverage , but it is a candle glass with a big piece of choclate inside of it , melting by the heat of the candle ..... nice idea , still not very welcomed by me , as the guy kept talking to spend time waiting for that ball of choclate to melt ... lol

Another thing , that really bothered me was the place they keep the Hookas all over the place , very ugly.

Virtual Machines on VISTA OS

As i really need to have both VISTA and UBUNTU in my machine , it is been a hell of an experience , may be a small one but very educating .

i installed ubuntu on my machine to work on it for a while , and what really happened is that my graphic card a GForce 8600M GS 256mb, wasnt recognized by Ubuntu , whatever i do and in any way possible , i went to ubuntu forums , went through more than 9 procedures and methods to make it work , but it just didnt .

Anyway , i decided to have a virtual machine and it was an experience by itself , to be honest i had tried 2 virtual players (Virtual Box , and VMWare), and my choise was VMWARE , it was very nice to deal with, "VIRTUAL Box didnt recognize the graphic card either".

I downloaded VMWare and went through some nice flash tutorial for it , and it worked like charm , and i never had problems since ever .

Only thing i must recommend , dont keep closing virtual machines without shutting down the system , NOT GOOD

Be Careful ...... Camera On Board

Everyday i have to go through Jordan's Street to go home in the afternoon , and almost everyday i have to see that small silver Chevrolet parking in the same place , like it is waiting for something.

before like 2 weeks i figured out that it is a private car that belongs to police , and they have a camera in board which can be configured to a specific speed of the street , and it just shoots every car that exceeds that speed set.

i dont know why i found it very frustrating , as it is not enough that they increased ticket fees , like the other day while i was coming from aqaba , i was driving on a 110 KM/H street and in MA'AN Bridge , which is a bridge 500m long , the speed changes to 90KM/H then goes back to 110 again , on that bridge i was ticketed to be speeding 112 KM/H on a 90 street , and that wasnt 10JDs or 20JDs it was 30 .

So may be it is a very good way to decrease accidents and souls lost in them , but in the same time they can figure out some way to punish those people instead of costing them all thier money on tickets .

i recall reading something about Yugoslavian police , who punished speeding cars by flating their tires depending on their speed , i find it a nicer way than ticket fees :D

It is really difficult to tell if someone is doing the right thing in this moment or is he making the worst mistakes of all, if he concentrates , atleast for a little bit on his career , to let it lead itself after in the right track .

Not denying what this decision has as consequences , but it is (In my opinion) the way it should be for a beginning , and may be for me as a developer, i wont be understood that easy but by another person in the same field , as this job has no limits in time or place , specially when the person loves what hes doing.

Parents are the smallest problem of all i believe, because they wont need more than seeing you grow in your career and life , and any one should have time for them in the day even for half an hour .

Friends in the other hand, got rights too, as you let them in your life , they wont get out easily , and they wont reasons of why this is happening? , in my case , am not making anyone go away or being ditched just for the love of it , i keep trying to make whats called an easy connection between me and them , so i can find them when i am happy , sad , or celebrating something , or anything else bad or good , and thats how it should be

but it never was in the past days that i dont see my friends for 3-4-5-6 weeks in a roll , as me and the guys hanged out usually every night, and i really miss it .

And presonally , i got a problem with cellphones , and i admit it , and most of my friends do know that , and they know that if one of them is around , usually he takes most of my calls ....... :)

Review: GodFather II ( the Game )

As this review of mine is so so early , even the game didnt even come out yet , but i will tell what i expected and what i saw in ( GodFather I ), and as i saw what EA games could do when they are short with time .

i was so happy that eventually someone thought about getting out there and make a game for that legendary movie that i adore, but after i saw the game and started playing it , it gets exciting till 20% of it , and then , it is all about going through the first 20% again and again and again till u get to the last 40% of the game where you are told to do the 20% of the beginning of the game again but with a whole 2 or 3 families in newyork .

it was so frustrating to wait all this time for this game that they were announcing that it is coming up before a year or a year and a half of the release.

Now ( GodFather II ), as a poor little fan of the movie , i hope it will be better than the first part , and more detailed , like GTA4 i hope :D , and i can say that EA knew about how people or most of them felt about the short fast telling story they did in part one .

a small hint would be : EA,a change in the story alittle bit wont harm making the game nicer, you shouldnt stick up with what the movie tell ... :D

It has been along time since i played a really nice racing game, and as always , i have my own openion that i stick with to the end ......... for more than a decade i am a NeedForSpeed fan ....... played all thier releases ...... and loved most of them specially the last 4 ........ but as i came to this one ........ i couldnt do anything but opening my mouth for 10 min when i watched its video and checked some races on it.

GRID actually is the top racing game , and it will stay in that status for years i guess , as it has every race a fan can look for in these kind of games , variaty you wont imagine in cars and brands ....... and all that is nothing when it comes to graphics ....... the game is more than awsome ...... and i sadly :( cant play it on high resolution ..... even i have a GForce 8600 GS which goes up to 512MB ......

i can add that the game is so rude when it comes to Graphic Cards ..... lol ...... after finishing your installation it will rudely pop up to tell you that your graphic card cant handle the game ..... so go check it before putting yourself in that situation . And am telling you, it is worth it .

Rating 4.9/5 took the last 0.1 off as it killed NFS .... :(

Today i was surfing around, between UBUNTU FORUMS' posts, and liked the idea of checking what number i am between UBUNTU users, so i googled the thing and i found out that there is really a website for this.

And guess what?, i had the nicest number too :

Even that the idea is new and still the counter didnt reach more than 5 digits, but i still hope that it will spread up to be more popular, and pushing people to be more loyal to LINUX ........ really lovin it.

As i consider myself a fan of automobiles whatever it is , especially cars, i am always updated with new designs and models that come out these days, even i didnt have the time for the last 4 months to be so updated , but am still in the zone.

And stupid me if i can say that, when i try to get news about cars from "Al-Ghad", as it became a pioneer in its industry in jordan as a newspaper, it still needs alot of good staff in surfing for information and getting new headlines about new cars in the world.

every saturday i guess , there is a special part of it for automobiles, which kinda exactly what you see on alot of websites nowadays , i mean is it that tiring to go to some official websites of companies to have better pictures , reviews , and specifications of the car.

what makes me so frustrated is the arabic translation , which uses some strange words like (3lbit 2l troos), which i paused on for like 5 minutes to realize at last that it means the GEAR BOX, and when you risk your language basics and keep reading, i am so positive that youre going to pump into some word like (Dynamekeyyet al hawa2) which also means (AERODYNAMICS).

at the end, i am not making fun of what our newspapers do, but they are doing it anyway , so how about we do it our way , with simple words that gets to the point, specially that CAR TALK should be simple and has its own taste that we shouldnt ruin with big , need a dictionary words, and for the pictures they get (STOP STEALING FROM exoticcarsite, and netcarshow)

After my graduation in the beginning of june, events and parties were spreading out JORDAN wherever i go, and it is kinda depressing as i cant go to any of those.

i recall Dj Teisto's party which went for 2 whole days in Aqaba, i actually couldnt go too, i find myself as a person fond with any type of music , specially music that moves me from the inside out , but unfortunately am out of luck in getting to these parties , sometimes because of no free time and sometimes because of empty pockets and wallets :D

DAVID VENDETTA is coming to jordan , No.1 DJ in the world ........ and bet it is gonna be a hell of a party and a major killer night , of course it is hosted by my favorite Radio Station PLAY FM ...... and while i was surfin the net for some info about the party , there was a guy , a nice blogger which has a nice post about the party comin MOEY's BLOG

more about parties is ABo MAJD (Melhem Barakat) is coming too in august to sing in Radisson SAS , i respect this man for his simplicity and talent he got that no one can deny , as i see myself as a strong fan of ABo Wadee3 and ABo Majd.

Well i hope i can get to any of these parties coz it all rocks as hell ....... wish to :(
