The movie Chronicle looks so good that I almost don't want to see it just in case it winds up being a steamer.

You can't go past a nifty piece viral marketing and if you a) live in New York City, and b) had your eyes akimbo last Friday (January 27, 2011) you may have bore witness to what appeared to be three people flying overhead.

James Percelay from Thinkmodo, a company that specialise in viral marketing campaigns, told Yahoo Movies, that the 'people' were actually six feet tall, four pound remote controlled aircraft.

"The planes are highly sophisticated dacron/carbon fiber, battery-powered, radio-controlled units," adding that they "light and delicate as potato chips."

Yes, one of them did take a dive into the Hudson and was fished out by the water authorities.

Akai has long been at the forefront of music creation until recently and some of their older machines have produced the majority of hip hop beats over the past decade or so.

However, in 2012 the company want to reclaim their crown and have created a contraption that allows any Tom, Dick or Kanye to produce music.

The MPC Fly hooks up to your iPad 2 (in a protective case no less) and enables the user to create music wherever he/she wants to via an app that comes with the pad.

Superbowl Sunday is almost upon us and with it brings an onslaught of companies pushing their wares on an unassuming public and spending enough money to cure AIDS in the process.

Honda has dropped their ad for the CRV and in it, Matthew Broderick resurrects his Ferris Bueller persona.

In this instance Broderick plays a sick actor who scams a day off from shooting his flick and is
a great homage to the John Hughes classic, recreating a bunch of the originals pivotal scenes.

"I ended up thinking it might be amusing," Broderick told Vulture. "I guess I'm part of a virus."

Next year Honda plans to follow it up with a campaign based on one of Broderick's other successful movies...

Fans of Star Wars can expect a raging nerd boner once they hit play on the above clip.

Bladez Toys RC unveiled their jumbo, inflatable, remote controlled R2D2 at the 2012 Toy Fair in London.

Standing at 26 inches tall (65cm), it's due to go on sale later this year at bladeztoyz.co.uk for around $60 bucks.

The company are also planning on releasing Darth Vader, Stormtrooper and Yoda editions too.

I've never understood how someone can live in a tight knit community and act like a complete d*ck without a blatant care to those around them.

Bandcamp is a portal for artists/bands to release original music where punters can pay what they think the tunes are worth.

Artists can set their own price, or give it away and is similar to the Radiohead experiment from a few years ago, where they offered their album In Rainbows for free, but if you wanted to contribute you could.

Sure, there's the obvious scabs, but Bandcamp claims to have paid out over a million dollars to artists in the past 30 days.
