Just taking the words into my head and trying to figure out what I wanted to know from, what I was reading. It was as simple as that. Line after line, the sentences would start to shape up a beautiful story. Paragraph by paragraph, I was following into the mind of the writer, what she thought and understood about life. I kept silent after some lines.

It was enough, somehow, the words stopped making any sense and I had no reason to continue. Often, this kind of things happen, when I start reading something. What I am writing now is also senseless and you can actually stop reading but even that makes no sense.

So lets stop even expressing, I say to myself. But I can't stop that, that is something which makes me live. I live to express. Not only me but each individual live to express his/her feelings and thoughts. Any person not expressing themselves through any medium is some how do not exist. But expression is not always words, it ever thing you do that says something about you. It has to be you and not anyone else.

Simple as that, just reading lines.

My Profile Picture

Took some time and designed.

Why Life is Beautiful

If you ponder upon the facts of life and the reason for its existence, you will find that life is beautiful. I cannot answer why it was created nor why it had to exist. Cause answering it, is not possible. The more you go into depth of this question, the more you get lost.

I try looking at life from a perspective which doesn't answer my questions but allows me to enjoy life and appreciate the truth of it.

When a tree is planted, it grows slowly and strongly with the time. Its not the time which defines the change. It is time which is defined by the change. A tree doesn't grow only upwards, but grows equally deep into the depth of the earth. In both direction, it flourishes itself. Tree in it self is not a single life, it is a complete Eco-system. A tree in itself is the total explanation of life. Therefore, we call tree "A wisdom of life."

As the leaves go green and the fruits ripen up, it is the most beautiful thing you can ever get the glimpse of. But as the leaves fall apart and the fruits are no more there, the tree looks sad and lonely, but it isn't. It is a phase through which the tree has to pass before it can flourish again, it is the time of wait and time of rest for the tree. It is the fundamental of life, the ups and downs. Happiness and pain are the two things that has to exist for each others existence. One cannot survive without other.

If a tree with the flowers and fruits and leaves are beautiful, so is the tree with only branches. We need to change our perspective to see life, only then you can find it joyful and start enjoying it. If day is bright and the night is dark, we need to accept and learn to enjoy dark as much as bright. Life is the flow of the change. Its the process to enjoy and not try finding meanings of it, because a meaning is the perception of human mind which is different for each individual. Meaning tries to clam people with false reasoning. One has to be strong to understand the life. The weaker you are, the more wrong reasons you create to live.

What I have been writing about.

Click for large view.

So far I have been blogging and I just stumbled upon this site http://www.wordle.net which displays in tag cloud from what you have been writing about. With emptiness and nothing in me, I am staring at the sky and I find nothing to think about, neither talk about, neither write about. I am just in silence, I guess. No more tales to tell.

So I am remembering my childhood again. Every time I see a child, I find myself wondering about my own childhood. The innocence takes my breath away and I look upon their eyes, eyes full of hope. But as I pose myself to capture their innocence into my camera, I ask myself why am I doing it? Why are so many children's photos clicked and exhibited. Even I have done so often. What does a child photo signify?

After much thinking and pondering, I think its the innocence that is captured in the child's eye. An innocence's which slowly seems to vanish with the age. An innocence which gets lost into the confusion of choices to be made. Any thing precious has a tendency of being captured. So is the child's smile and stare and their inquisitive questions.

I am thinking if I still possess those innocence in me. I go deep into my minds and start to think. May be yes, may be no. All these feelings seem to take me far away into my own dream land.

Nepal : Least Innovative Potential

This is where Nepal's innovative skills seems to be : Least Innovative Potential. With the belief of flying high, Nepali Mechanical Engineers did it. The process towards success revealed itself in front of my eyes. I was there when it was happening, as a spectator, when my seniors and few friends were building the light air craft plane.

Though many obstacle were there, the success was inevitable due to the dedication and hardship. And its obvious, especially, when there is no binding in the thoughts and you are free to think.

Its sometime difficult to make sense of everything, and then just conclude that nothing makes sense.

I believe, in such case, we need to be strong and fight with our emotion and find reason to do something in life.

There is no reason for a clay to be moulded to a statue but trying to give it some shape is what we try to do. Though both may make no sense.

War and Peace. Can you imagine a place with no war? I doubt it. Its difficult, an extremely difficult situation. But can you imagine a world in mayhem, YES we can, its so easy. Destruction is so easy. But creation and stability is so hard. If we let the destruction overwhelm us than the society will go down.

Remember we all are just trying to create a harmony and exist. We are trying to bring balance and avoid complete break down of our society.

Global Warming (CO2 Data)

The data for the graph below has been collected from:
Energy Information Administration

Official Energy Statistics from the U.S. Government
Visit the site: EIA

Note: I am sorry if the pictures below, doesn't come in full. But since then there seems to be some abrupt change in the emission which could be due to many environment policy being conducted in the Urban Area.

Hope this analysis and graph helped to demonstrate the change in CO2 release to the atmosphere.

Fame

What is the significance of fame in the society? Do you want to be famous and be honoured? Have you ever thought what is the significance of all these things? May be none. But may be all for someone.

People are ready to sacrifice their integrity for the sake of being famous. This way of living may not be justified in this world. What is the effect of losing integrity in the society? From the perspective of a third person it may not be visible. But, if you look from the perspective of first person, it may be different.

Lets not say the fame is wrong. Lets not say that you don't need to attain it. But lets promise that we won't lose our integrity because that's all that matters. Here is one saying:

"Fame is like a flame of a match stick, it will end. But before it ends, if it cannot light the future of the poor than it has failed."

Unpredictable Nature Revealing itself

One of the most heart touching event captured by National Geographic Channel. Well, this post is for her and all the other students who are confused about examination.

But before going further, I have one question, am I the right person for suggesting how to get good scores because I never went for it. I rarely kept that target in mind that I had to pass the examination but most of the time I did and I am sorry to tell that there is no technique, though many books guarantee that there is. But among any suggestion, Work Hard is the must.

Personally, I hate the examination, it bugs me more then anything, the rigidity of the test and unnecessary roting of the information. But, as a ex-teacher of physics and A Level graduate, I am actually very pleased with the kind of question paper that we had to appear for.

So, my suggestion is based on my experience with the A Level and not any other standard. Remember that.

OK, so lets start listing the points one by one with the priority:

PART 1.

1. Know the pattern and structure of your questions from first to end. Go through as many question papers, to know the structure and be comfortable with it. For example, How many question are there? What are the marks allocated to questions? And also, how many different kinds of question are there like mathematical, descriptive and analytics?

2. Know the section in which you are confident and practise on that paper until you are 100% confident. For example, you may do the math and descriptive good but you may be weak at analytics? So instead of wasting your time in analytics be 100 percent confident at math and descriptive and then give the remaining time to analytics?

3. Practise. Practise. Practise. Don't waste much time reading books but instead start writing and doing the real papers because you may feel you have understood what you have read, but then when answering you may go blank. You have to read books but not repetitively.

4. Avoid distractions while studying. While studying be focused and concentrate even at least for 45 minutes. Do not continuously study and put pressure on you, especially when learning new things. Keep a gap but not large.

5. Learn to put your thought in paper by writing and keep reading what you wrote instead of what other wrote.

Draw graphs and charts to help you understand what you studied.

PART 2.

Now for the preparation part.

1. Organise your course syllabus and put it handy.

2. Start to think in terms of points rather than in long sentences

3. Make diagrams or flowchart to connect your ideas

4. While studying use pictures, diagrams to help you understand. Don't read like you are reading a novel.

5. Most important, try explaining what you have understood to your friends and hold a discussion. Ask teachers for clarifications. <- very important.

Part 3.

Before examination

1. If your revision went well then no need to worry.

2. Focus on your strong points and feel confident.

3. Do not confuse your self before examination, be cool and calm, don't panic.

4. Revise your revision book and see if you have missed any chapters.

At the end, its an examination, you don't have to get 100/100 to pass. You just have to give your best.

Don't regret if the examination goes wrong, there is always the next but don't believe in it before the examination. :-)

Point to remember, do not get stuck in one question and spoil all the other. You don't have to answer all the question. Answer the one you can and leave the one you can't because you can't do anything else. If you have time give it a try and show your examiners that you at least tried.

Do not just leave your answer sheet blank. That is bad impression on examiners

Finally,

Well, it is always easy to suggest. But difficult to follow. But it was never meant to be easy in the first place.

Hope it was helpful. If any questions, let me know.

One last thing, Make a routine and follow for at least 1 month continuously. It helps. Plan your work, this is the skill that will be helpful for your future.

500 Rupees

Add as a Friend

Social Structure is based upon the connection between people enhanced by the technology around them. Starting from saying "hi" to the never ending relationships between people is amazing. Once the connection is made, it takes ages for it to break or may be infinity.

Being in a group and having a friend circle is a unique features of Human being that is studied in any sociology text books. The happening or making of a group is quite interesting to look at. Don't criticize me for being OVER scientific but mathematicians have some how managed to come with certain approximate ways of defining the social group in numbers.

With the rising age of Online Networking groups available, it has become more easier to analyse the group and make a suggestion on them,NUMERICALLY. Also, the rising of the REALITY SHOWS like BIGG BOSS and others, it has given a social analyst a platform to analyse the social bonding and a structure.

Let me narrate a short observation that was made in Discovery Channel.

It was about a child psychology. A small girl about one or two years old shopping was shopping in a mall, when she encounters another girl of same age. They stare for a moment but do not talk to each other.

Soon they get accustomed to each others existence and they start to mingle with each other. After a while they are holding their hands and running around the shopping complex as if they were meant to be with each other.

After a while another girl of the same age enters into the scene with her mother. Suddenly, the previous girls encounter the new girl. They all stare at each other but do not respond. The previous girls hold each other hands and runs away playfully. The new girl then clutches her mothers hand and stares at them running away as if being left out. This small social experiment was actually carried out by the Discovery Channel. This small and unconscious behavior that was being observed says a lot about us.

These unconscious behaviour is natural not only in child but also in all the human being. It is the foundation on which social structure are constructed.

Finally, what matter is the bond and the strength of the social structure. Today, many online networks are present, we still have a time to check its strength and weakness.

LINK ME as Friend.

Please Please Please : Stop Begging...

Now and then I come across some of the proposals written for the sake of development. Asking help and for financial support. Then I find the most cliches sentence :

"Nepal is one of the poorest country in the world"

SO PROUD TO BE POOR!

I am sick and tried of reading pages and pages of justification on how poor Nepal is or we are. So helpless and so bound by the situation, we seek HELP.

Let me tell you a real life situation:

As a child, I have seen beggars begging in the street of New Road. Then I use to think, that these beggars will certainly not beg forever. I thought they might some day come out of it when they have enough savings. But I still see the same beggars today, in the same street begging. What a sad story?

Why? And only WHY? Haven't they have had enough of money to be not begging. Then I might be criticized that, "Hey, Deep... They are begging they don't get enough so they have to beg again. They don't have saving ACCOUNT. Deep be realistic."

EXACTLY. That is my point. Begging doesn't make you rich. It makes you lazy and dependable. A parasite. A social parasite. If you need development, you need to WORK not BEG.

<span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(0, 0, 238); I say, how intelligent is it? How moral is it?

Looking at the graphs and the trends and everything, we see rise and fall as a part of the nature and something that is not in our control. It is something that happens without our consent. So it happened this time - the giants felt apart to crumble down to the earth. The limit may have been reached. The numbers might have been too high, so it was time, no wonder, for it to fall.

These are some of the philosophical reasoning why the bailing must be stopped. But it happens every time in our society. For example, mistakes made by Celebrities or Bigger bodies being bailed out, now and then, for the sake of social stability. It is a social issue that needs to be considered properly. Not for the sake of the philosophical stability or to maintain the rules but to maintain the society.

For the companies and everyone to grow, we need to understand our limitations and learn from the mistakes. We have had many wars and all kinds of tragedies, that taught us the way of life and the way of unquestionable nature.

Beside most of the reasons for not bailing out, like my friend here have mentioned. I consider that this crisis that has been impinged on us, is a lesson to be learnt and not to be repeated afterwards.

It is an opportunity to start again and build ourselves stronger. For example, if a crack in a building is gone unnoticed, during the process of building then, it will have strong and negative effect in future, causing millions of lives.

The innovations in financial sector is very very new and experimental. How long has it been invented-only few years. So....... Are we ready to risk the whole generation on the findings that have not been tested to their fullest. This crisis shows that there is a tremendous fault in the today's financial system and the way economy is being measured and accounted for.

Lets stop running away and rethink where we went wrong. We are sure to come up with the better solutions. I am going to post only the pictures. So here it goes:

So. Did it inspire you? Or, you just looked at it, smiled and said to yourself, " IMPOSSIBLE, just impossible". Though completely outrageously optimistic, it is the only thing we can dream off. Nothing wrong. No harm in dreaming and sharing your dreams with everyone.

My saying. There is a long long way to go before, we reach there. But, yes it is very possible. If the house can be build on bare land from stones, why not the country itself. But we need to be realistic in our approach. Need to understand our landscapes, its need and the ecology and every possible things before, we venture into such things.

I remember how, the area in Maitighar (place in between Singh Darbar and Bagmati Bridge) was suddenly taken down and a beautiful garden was set there. It was during those SAARC summit and that SAF games, the Kathmandu City was reconstructed so that we could welcome the guest.

Why are we always cleaning ourselves for others shake. Why can't we clean ourselves and remain healthy for our own sake. Why? Lets focus on how we want to see ourselves rather then how others want to see us.

Have your say.

Space Exploration

Great piece of engineering! How many years did it take for us to reach here. But there is one question that everyone is asking. "Is it worth spending so much on it?" I don't know how much does it cost? Pretty lot. So....should we stop? Hmmm.

Imgaine yourself, one fine morning you wake up and find yourself in a deserted island. You look everywhere and you can't find anything that looks like you. Remember Tom Hanks in Cast Away. Well yup pretty much like it. What would you do?

First you would see if there is any one. Not finding anyone, you would slowly try to survive in the environment and you may live or die. If you die its the end. But if you are alive what would you do next? Explore! you would explore unless you are lazy. And believe me some people are so lazy that they have lost their human instinct. Now that is the correct word "INSTINCT".

After much time, you would also start to wonder about life and question your existence. When you finally think its time to put yourself on the captains seat and explore, you would.

And there are few who can take these initiatives. So in a bigger picture what we are doing by spending money in Space Exploration is that we are following our instinct. We are searching for a reason of our existence and it is very important for us to do so. For us to know that we are doing something about it. Though yes, the whole thing might have been started due to the cold war or the warm war. It makes sense to me to try and explore.

Yes, we may be wasting a lot of capital but can we stop ourselves from not tring to know our origin. Do we still have space in us for these kinds of questions or have we lost all our enthusiasm in it. I don't want to argue if it is right or wrong to do so, simply because I can't justify neither.

But I can assure you that once you stop searching, you are sure to find yourself in a BIG deadlock in your life.

Ownership

Lets talk about owning something in life. Be it a career or be a car or anything.

You see this huge picture that looks like an apple well its not excatly an apple but an apricot. I can say that, I and my friends own this design. Well. Well. Well. Own. A big fat word that somehow looks like OWL.

This was designed by my good friend Kabin, he is a great designer. So what is this about. Well at an early time of our engineering, we decided that we will be owning something in life, may be a company. You know like Apple or Dell. Hahah. It was our kind of pet project.

The story behind the name is very interesting. Once in a while we use to go to drink Sodas in our local street. Soda has many flavours and there was this apricot flavour too. So we decided to try and we hated it. No one of us liked it. Since then we encouraged every one of our frns to drink it saying its the best in the world. After a month the name became so familair that we decided it to be our logo. And there went kabin with his pencil and paper and came with this logo.

Now, can I say we own it. Seroiusly, is it a right to say we own this logo and lets copy right it. In a normal level, it makes no sense at all. OWN!!.

But lets look at it closer. What if somebody else comes with the same logo and have their own story behind it. How would you feel? Seriously, I would feel pissed off and angry. Now the feeling is very moral and justified. But still think. Is it good to copyright it? I don't know the answer to it. But I have been pondering upon it for a long time and I keep on going round and round like in a mery go round.

But there is a thing where the copyright become very jsutified because not everyone has the same view and have different ways of doing things. Lets say there is no copyright and this particular design went crazy in the world and someone uses it to profit himself. Well, do we have a problem there. May be. May be not. lets say he/she earns million dollars from this particular act of his. Now do you see a problem.

There is two things you can do in such situation. First : revolt and say it was my design and that I must have my share in it. The next one is keep quite and act dumb.

But lets see another situation, lets say that someone genuinely came with idea and did something on it. Is it right to stop him or sue him. Thats the dilemma. Isn't it?

So at the end its our common sense that makes sense. Its our sensible thought that can help us and avoid from such quandary.

Even law cannot stop these acts but can help minimize it. So next time you look at the design think again.

And by the way, I own this Blog too.

Me

Life has become a beautiful experience till now. Many ups and downs and turns. Many cries and laughs. But still, so amazing to be living in this world full of mysteries. So how have yours been? I assume everyone's to be as thillers as anyones. No comparisons. So what am I going to write about. First let me indroduce myself to the world.

My profile must say something about it. I am a under-graduate engineer taking new path with a vision. A vision to know and understand the world. Sounds dull and cliches. Isn't it? But truely, its the fundamentals of every human being. What else do you think you would want to do?

But I have a more serious reason to be thinking in this line of thought. The world have many things to say to us. Its history has the most wonderful stories of all. But we seem to be ignoring these stories and its values in our life. People do tend to make remarks like: "Forget the past."

But I want to know how and why? Memory seems to be so powerful phenomenon that is in us. So let us all explore these boundaries of ours and see if we can somehow go beyond it and see the better picture.

Bye

Disclosure of the Blog

"The views are entirely our personal and they in no way represent the view of the company we am employed with."

"The views are not targeted against any company, Institute, philosophy or Person. If it happens to attack someone's interest, it can only be the coincidence."

"Our views keep on changing with time and we consider it to be the consequence of having open mind."

"All three points mentioned above are valid for the entire blog."
