Hello my dears, I'm back from a long weekend spent by the sea on Tuscany, the excuse I've to say was definitely very pleasant intact was all about relax, swim, long strolls on the playa, good food and yes to celebrate my birthday too, together with the people that I love. A real treat!

Awesome start in Tuscany

Last Friday was the beginning of a week end full of parties in Forte dei Marmi, where I went to spent a few days with Michael, my sisters and friends.

The main "excuse" was my Birthday, and I can say that I really had a smashing one this year, thank you guys!

La giacchina militare è senz'altro un capo Hot della stagione e di certo non può mancare

nell'armadio di una vera fashionista.

Nel post di oggi ne indosso una vintage recentemente acquistata, la potete trovare qui, effetto camouflage che ho abbinato a gambe nude, mini di Maje e i tronchetti di Iro.

Un'abbinamento che è praticamente pronto per le future giornate autunnali dove rimpiazzerò la mini per dei pantaloni in pelle, e magari aggiungerò una calda e comoda cuffia di lana.

this is not really a "new in" but I'm kind of pround of my new DIY sandals, yes the Zara ones I was wearing here few days ago that I decided to pimp en pleine Rio-chain-strapped Isabel Marant's inspiration but obviously with an edgy personal touch, so after adding plenty of little chains on the ankle stripes I also gave them a touch of yellow mellow fluo and brided straps on the toe straps. What do you think?

I let my hair loose and wore the little dress I bought ages ago ( 2 months ago ) when visiting Newcastle the giant black bow blue is a splash in the middle of all the white.

I played it safe accessorizing it with black details such as my new Kurt Geiger pumps, recently bought on sale.

In queste foto indosso il mini abito comprato anni fa ( 2mesi ) in un viaggetto a Newcastle, il fiocco nero è come una macchia gigante che spezza il candore dell'abitino bianco latte.

Per restare in tema ho usato solo accessori neri ( ultimamente sono ossessionata dal black&white ) come le decollate di Kurt Geiger, recentemente acquistate in saldo presso Selgfridges e i bangles di H&M.

LooK of the day: the peplum jacket

A Peplum refers to that short overskirt attached to a fitted jacket. It's a structured piece, but at the same time gives a girly feel to a fitted jacket and/or blazer. I love this kind of piece because can easily be taken from day to night, I normally pair with some skinnies but yesterday I experimented it with a pair of shorts and the new sandals I bought recently on sale.

Balenciaga vintage trousers

Hello my sunshines, yesterday I wore the vintage Balenciaga high waist trousers I found some days ago in a vintage shop on Portobello Road (one of my favorite vintage shops as I always find little wonders) for a very small price. In terms of treasures, these beauties must certainly take one of the very top spots on my bargains chart.

However, yesterday I found out why their price tag was so favorable... they are almost impossible to wear for more than two hours, that is unless you're keen on blocking your blood circulation! Yes, as I always knew, Love hurts!

I matched them with an easy going tee, the vintage necklace I purchased last year in Cremona, and my new pimped Zara sandals - or better the sandals that I was wearing here the other day, but which I altered myself. I think they deserve another post also because in this outfit I'm not showing them in their full glory.

Buongiorno meraviglie, Ieri indossavo i pantaloni a vita alta scovati in un negoziato in Portobello Road (uno dei miei preferiti poichè strano a dirsi ma trovo sempre delle piccole chicche) come nel caso di questi pantaloni in pura seta, di colore grigio metallico che adoro, a prezzo decisamente contenuto... un sogno!

Certo belli lo sono davvero, ma ieri indossandoli per la prima volta per una uscita serale mi sono fatta un'idea più completa del perché simili meraviglie abbiano subito "l'offesa" di un prezzo di cartellino che a mio parere non gli rendeva giustizia (considerazione che ovviamente mi sono guardata bene dal divulgare al proprietario e commesse del negozio) e la ragione è da ricercarsi nel fatto che a meno che non si voglia rischiare un blocco generale della circolazione degli arti inferiori, si consiglia di indossarli con moderazione! Love hurts.

In abbinamento indossavo una tee super easy, la collana vintage acquistata a Cremona l'anno scorso e i sandali di Zara che calzavo l'altro giorno qui da me pimpati, ma credo che questi ultimi meritino un'altro post anche perché in queste foto sono coperti dai trousers.

What's new: creative design elements

Last Friday I've finally made to take a look at the Royal College of Art's annual summer show that includes works of the graduating students.

I've been stopped by these intriguing Emma Montague sunglasses creations, who was inspired by the relationship between the shape of the jaw bone and sunglasses when she put her Ray Bans down beside a mandible.

The result are a beautiful series of sunglasses made from different materials such as black horn, the jaw bones of deer and acetate.

All these sunglasses come with different shape and sizes, perfectly designed to help improve your personality.

I'm in love!

Lo scorso Venerdì sono finalmente riuscita a visitare l'esposizione temporanea del Royal College of Art qui a Londra (termina il 29 Giugno) che include le opere degli studenti dell'ultimo anno.

La mia attenzione si è da subito focalizzata intorno a questi occhiali da sole dall'aspetto davvero intrigante.

La creatrice è la giovane Emma Montague e la sua ispirazione è da ricercarsi nella relazione tra la forma della mandibola e dei suoi Ray Ban quando facendoli scendere a mezzo viso fu ispirata da questo connubio.

Il risultato una fantastica serie di occhiali da sole realizzati con materiali differenti , quali corno, mandibole di cervo ed acetato.

Tutti questi occhiali sono realizzati in forme e misure differenti, disegnati per chi ama uno stile forte e ricercato, personalmente gli trovo super.

Hello Beauties, today I'm all happy to show you the jewels received lately by Be Chic, their sailor's inspired style is ideal for pack them with you for a yacht's holiday or to add an instant fifties glamour touch to your outfit. Ciao splendori, oggi sono felice di mostrarvi i nuovi gioiellini ricevuti da Be Chic, lo stile è ideale per un look da “marinaretta bon ton”, per un glamour anni '50 o per una vacanza sullo yacht.

Ciò che distingue i gioielli Navy Chic sono i particolari: dai dettagli “Marine” ai motivi legati alla Beach Couture Anni '50. Ma cosa c'è di più Navy Chic delle righe?
