Crispus Attucks, a stevedore, who is said to be the first person killed in the American Revolution. Crispus Attucks was a Black Native who memorabilia along with other notable Black historical figures and facts are housed in the Crispus Attucks Museum along Crispus Attucks High School in Indianapolis, Indiana. Crispus Attucks High was a segregated Black School established in 1927.

You will also learn about the FEMA project Lockefield Gardens which was the first public housing built for the Colored/Black people in 1935 in Indianapolis Downtown. The name Lockefield is taken from Erie Locke, a Indy City Councilman. Lockefield Garden Apartment Colored subdivision lines was 47 acres in the regional center off Locke St and Paca street. Lockefield was also very near to the City Hospital which also may have been by design.

This area was in Midtown, a historical black community in the year 1821, near Mile Square plat near Indiana Ave and Black St and very close to the Madam CJ Walker Building which is currently under renovation. The plan area is often credited to stem from The Roosevelt Administration New deal to create better housing for the poor with fellow Architects William Earl Russ & Merrit Harrison. And were modeled after row houses in Germany called Zeilenbau formation of heliotropic housing.

Mr. Robert Chester is the curator & contributor to all the art work and informative information. The museum ranges in artifacts from American and African History & other crafts from the Black land throughout Egypt and abroad.

Chef Oya Trap

The Trap, acronym for, Towards Restoring Food Access to the People.

Before there was The Trap, there was The Trap Buttah finishing Sauce, says Natoya AKA Chef Oya. In fact, The Buttah sauce helped fund The Trap walk up take out restaurant that is situated on 34th St and Keystone in a corner next to a Liquor store in Indy, Indiana. Culturally creating pretty much sums up Chef Oya skills. Her spirit seems to be dancing and electrifying the food that really does restore the access via food to the soul. Chef Oya grew up watching Food Network and remember thinking that she never saw anyone that looked like her; a Fat Black Woman. After making spaghetti from scratch, she was encouraged to go to culinary school to further her craft. She has worked in restaurants, in catering, even worked at Applebees and as a school lunch lady.

Her original sauce is the OG garlic herb and her newest is a citrus chive that is vegan and took her 3 years to develop. Young Bae seasoning was created by Oya's Business Partner, Candice Boyd who goes by Spice Slanger and blends her own seasoning which goes on every tray that is served at the trap. Young Bae seasoning was specifically blended for The Trap. The first time she sold a crab tray, it was on her front porch and she sold about 30 seafood boil trays. That day, she earned enough to pay her rent and her bills.

After searching for a commercial kitchen, she went to Jamaican Style Jerk for their Thursday oxtail. After noticing a moving sign, she inquired about the property. She set up a meeting with the owner and brought him some of her food. After his crew tried it, he offered her keys to her new establishment. Around this time, her father passed away. But she kept trapping, selling trays, cookies and cakes for 6 months before opening. When she got the approval from the health inspection to open, she only had $11.42 in her bank account. She started taking orders via her social media and before she knew it over 70 people pre-purchased her tray platters that are served with corn, potatoes and broccoli. The pre orders helped fund the official grand opening of Chef Oya The Trap.

The Trap was started 4 year ago, and now Chef Oya is doing what she says she is destined for: To feed people. She plans on setting up a class room for her 7 year daughter in her office building as she plans on homeschooling her moving forward after doing so during Covid19.

I drove to Indy to go to The Trap and so happy that I did!

My review on Trap:

The ambiance at Chef Oya's is really unlike any other seafood joint I been too. Situated in a lil liquor store plaza off Keystone & 34th, expect to stand in line for a minute becos there is no indoor seating or seats outside to sit and wait. There is a bench in front of the stand that could be used. There is parking right in front and rear where you can go chill at until your order is called from the intercom. If you're lucky, you'll hear Chef Oya pretty sultry voice calling out your order just minutes after placing it. Although there was a line when I got there, the line moved pretty quick and so did the orders.

The line had pleasant people too. No one was in a rush everyone was patient and small convos were being had with other Trappers.

There is a menu on both sides of the window order but I suggest pulling up the menu online to order once you get to the register. Londo's, black owned lemonade is also available and I highly recommend any flavor including the pineapple!

They've trap buttah sauces available for sale including a vegan buttah sauce to take home and if you want to try all I would suggest the shrimp sampler platter (pictured), you can get spicy or regular. I liked the chowder too but for me it was a lil too cheesy.

Overall, I'm so pleased to have gone and can't wait to see The Trap expand becos the Chef is on point with the platter combos, buttahs and everything else The Trap offers.

Selena Forever Favorite Things and Did you Know

The "Cholo" who said the famous "Anything for Selenas" in the Movie Selena may not have known that even after 23 years, his 3 word line would still be on heavy rotation just about every time Selena name is mentioned.

The first Tejano artist ever to win a award at the Grammys for Best Mexican American Album in 1993. Selena, who was murdered at 23 years old, would've been 49 years old this year. She was born April 16, 1971 and passed March 31, 1995 in Texas. Selena, The Queen of Cumbia, began to sing at 6 and was in a band, Los Dinos, which consist of her siblings. She started touring at 9 years old after recording her first record a year before. Her first tour bus was called, "Big Bertha".

Some of her best songs was Bidi Bidi Bom Bom (which I'm hoping Beyonce would remake), No me queda mas, Dreaming of you, El Chico del Apartamento 512, Baila esta cumbia, Como la Flor, and I could fall in love. These are songs just from the top of my head! I really love all of them. The last song she recorded, which was written by her husband, Chris Perez, was Puede Ser. It was a little rockish, more her husband style but her voice is always the same.

I know that some of her favorite things was pizza and hot tea with honey and lemon. Like many other celebrities, she would drink this before she performed.

There is a bronze Selena Statue in Corpus Christi that was revealed in 1997, two years after her death. Corpus Christi, Selenas hometown, memorial is called, "Mirador de la Flor". It's at 600 N Shoreline Blvd, Corpus Christi, TX 78401. There is also a Selena Museum in the city.

She also received the "Key of the City" in 1994 on her birthday in Houston. When she passed, President Bush recognized April 16th, as Selena Day. She also loved animals. She had a snake, python and 5 dogs. Her famous one piece maroon color outfit (shown on doll below) that she wore to the Tejano Music Awards she was buried in. All of her stage outfits Selena Designed.

Have you looked up a Selena Barbie Doll? They go for hundreds. This is why many crave dolls such as the total opposite of Selena because to get a doll that is created after Selena and Selenas is rare. I wish it was common to get a doll like Selena. That should be the new norm.

In addition to the food intake, products that we put on the skin outer layer, the largest organ of the body, absorbs into the blood stream and also a contributing factor to cancer causing cells.

There shouldn't be no products you put on without reading the ingredients. Red 1, Blue 1 or anything color and following by numbers are artificial colors, artificial fragrance and like artificial preservatives, you want to stay away. Stopping usage of these products can help keep you away from being the 1 out of 3 to develop cancer.

The environment and world peace includes leaving climate change out of it. Climate change affects all human kind and the wild and planet life equally. Weather affects your mood yet a bigger effect weather modification will do. Climate change will have more of a negative impact on people of color and that is because of Melanin. Generally, people of color are reference in this category due to the physical trait of melanin. People that skin complexions range from the lightest shade of brown to the richest deep hue have Melanin and hence, the more Melanin you possess, the darker the skin pigment. The global use on carbon dioxide has been proven to cause degradation to the atmosphere and the environment. The over exhaustion of the use of coal, trees and other activities caused by careless human waste has caused deforestation. As damaging as this all is, the most crucial and vital of them all that climate change affect is the Solar Energy that people of Melanin backgrounds depends on for life span and eventually, will depend on for survival. How climate change disturbs Melanin presence is when the body feels less energized and feels more Melancholy. When someone feels Melancholy, they often feel depressed, unhappy and un-energized and may very will become ill. Similar to how cars can not operate without another Melanin substance, fuel/gas, the natural body can still operate, but does not operate to its full affect when they are not receiving energy directly from Earths natural energy source. Although the weather effects everyone, the result consequence targets Melanic people because the production of more Melanin means, the dependence on Earths Natural radiation, in which is the Sun. Artificial lightening can never generate a natural Melanin body. How the body absorbs immediately to the contact with Sun can easily be observed with natural skin tanning. The sun is a necessity to Melanic groups of people because when the sun rays are shinning, the ultra violets are penetrating in the skin and ultimately, into the body most important glands that are vital to the overall functioning of the human body. The energy balance in humans change when the radiation from the sun is cloud covered by large amounts of gases that contribute to climate change. This too is caused by egotistical human activities. Melanin people that are in a natural environment and atmosphere will emitter energy from the sun and even after a long period later, as the Melanin further penetrate, it does things to the body scientist to this day are determined to find out what .The Earth is so naturally balanced that even in the hottest tropical region, current winds and water balances itself toward the poles to help balance out Earth heat to ice cold.

Unfortunately, more than 80% of the Artic sea ice has melted, again, due to climate change and the loss of the Artic ice means the possible lost of fresh water which supplies all water lovers around the globe. The energy balance of the climate system changes in the atmospheric abundance of the solar radiation, this affects the natural human body. The sun's radiation that is incoming to all Planet Earth, including all it's natural entities, must always go back to where it derives from, space, or black matters. If not, the Earth Energy is not balanced, man made climate change brings disarray to this structure.

The Earth temperature remains balanced only when the sun radiation is at a consistent incoming outgoing flow. When the energy balance on earth is disturbed by human activity, that affects us all, whether you believe in climate change or don't. Taking Earth natural climates and experimenting on controlling the weather through weather modification will and can have a long term affect on 95% of the world population who is Melanin dominated.

When climate patterns are altered and experimented with, not only does that cause an offset on the people but also on Planet Earth as a whole including oceans, the wildlife, the forest, trees, plant life, etc. Scientist has determined that a major part of the Suns energy is absorbed by Planet Earth atmosphere. If the quality of the air is altered, then so becomes the ambiance of the inhabitants of Earth.

Is surfing a sport? Surfing is like Basketball, it takes a certain amount of brain power capacity to become an extraordinary player in this field. In the rare sport of Surfing, nature is the opponent. Most scholars can agree this sport originated in Polynesia and Indonesia then making it's way to Hawaii.

After the arrival of missionaries, surfing was banned, although, surfing was deeply rooted in the indigenous religion. Duke Kahanamoku, the Gold Metal Olympic, was credited for bringing surfing to the modern world.

Whether you are in the military or not, your role model growing up was most likely and most likely still is a white woman. That typically falls in this description of the standards of beauty in Western Civilization; The White woman of golden locks and bright blue eyes with pasty translucent skin. Isn't it? No, it is.

A white woman has been made to be the ideal standards of beauty in the American Society. In fact, not only in America. Unfortunately, the disease that went viral world-wide causing this haunting affect is global. How we are trained and molded to be like, is the white woman.

Sadly, there is nothing desirable about them. Blue eyes is a mutant, just like blonde hair is and pale skin is at risk of cancer because the man made chemically filled lotions and SPF still isn't strong enough to protect and/or absorb sun rays.

The Reason Hispanic People are Classified as Whites in America

Due to colonization we have all been conditioned to have a fucked up mind set. People who clearly have Melanin; like Hispanics and other nationalities like those from India, are obviously not White. But in the Americans US Census, they are classified as those among the White Race. The reason they are classified as Caucasians is just to make them the majority, we all believe the white race to be. Mexicans are the largest Hispanic population and adding this large group in a otherwise declining race, would make them the majority population.

Mexicans and other Melanin dominating ethnic groups and brown Indigenous people not only are visibly different from Nordic, Western Caucasians but they are not even treated as their supposedly white counterparts. Caucasians came to this land mass, invaded the people, confiscated the land, took it from us then assigned us ghetto areas, carried deadly diseases on them and wrapped in blankets and just brought total destruction and chaotic-ness like turning brown people so white the brown Melanin Hispanic people have turned on themselves.

Caucasians are not the majority anywhere; definitely not in the Americas and not even in Europe. Hispanics did not migrate from Europe, their not Latin, not from Rome, not from Hispaniola.

We are Indigenous brown people from all over the Americas and pre date White Caucasians like Donald Trump and Ann Coulter, the illegal settler descendant.

The only part of Hispanic we are is the part that we PANIC them.

The word Melanin may have a variety of derivations but one of its root origin is from the Greek word Melaina, which means the dark ones or black. The Greek Goddess, Melaina who bared the child of the Greek God Apollo is named after Melanin. Donald Trump Wife, Melania Trump, name is Latin and comes from Melanie, the french variation of what we know in English as Melanin. The name Melanie or Melania didn't make it to America from England. And by the end of the Middle Ages, it became rare. The word that is used to express black and brown hues and ranges of shade and hair textures, Melanin, is also absent from teaching Americans where their skin color shades and hair color and varieties comes from.

In Italy, the name Melania is very common and widely used in Italian speaking countries including countries in Africa. Melanina or Melania is the Spanish pronunciation of the English, Melanin. It's used to describe black and brown colors. Melanie originates from Melanin and so does the names Malinda, Mel, Melany, Melina and Mindy. It is very common for many German, Hungarian, Italian, Dutch, Polish, The Slovaks and Spanish Females that name is Melania. Melanija is the Serbian spelling of the English Melanin and means a feminine beauty. Melania was also the name of the feminine Roman Saint who in the 5th century gave all her wealth to charity. Those who have very little Melanin, usually this is a sign when you burn under the sun or can't withstand long periods under tropical or hot climates, have inherited recessive and mutated genes that was unable to properly develop the usual amounts of Melanin pigment cells. Melanin is secreted in what is considered the third eye, which is located in the center of your brain and comes in the form of a black dot located in the center of the brain and the ultimate window to the soul that is as spiritual and creative as the creator itself.

The Standards of Beauty

Where do the standards of beauty come from? Why are so many different cultures so assimilate taken on the style of speaking, the customs and traditions of who we are taught to consider beauty. We hold up a pedestal to something that is a lower grade of who you are. We live in a society where white is right. We try to emulate something that really doesn't even properly function.

Where we get the standarization that beauty is white is from a German Anthropologist name Johannes Blumenbach who based the beauty of mankind on skulls and he also categorized the 5 races and gave the white race the term Caucasian. Blumenbach was considered a polymath, a person who knows much and was considered a great teacher. But he believed all people are born red and that color didn't apply to just a certain variety. He contribute skulls, hair and things he gathered to the first worlds anthropology museums and noted that the Caucasian skull of a Georgian Woman was the most handsome and this became the pedestal for diluted women.

His theory also was that the most beautiful people came from Georgian people in Mount Caucus, because of the skull. Johannes taught that it could be fairly assumed that whites are the most primitive color of mankind and that animals and plants were also white. I was watching this video on how in Seoul, South Korea, more cosmetic surgeries than anywhere else in the world are done. The number one things that made them unhappy and made them feel unpretty so they wanted to change the most was their eyes and their nose. They are brainwashed to think that altering their features they were uniquely born with will give them better career opportunities and a happier life.

Tiny, small holes are punctured where the second eyelid will be in attempt to change their Asiatic eye's from low, exotic and slanted to big and round like the K-pop stars that promote the double eyelid surgery. The surgery takes about 40 minutes and some procedures will be done without complications. But for some like, So yi yoon, a 19 year old Korean, facing long term consequences for what she tried to change for a social society that upholds big round eyes and smaller noses as a beautiful and worthy of desiring and emulating.

While watching this, I thought, I can't believe the similarities of this disbelief. How our Black and Brown women in the Americas, in the western part of the world that K-pop stars in Korea wanted to sound like, dance like and be like and how the same people they wanted to look like there, our women here wanted to look like them too. We all know who,. the fairest of them all, white women. Koreans wants "westernized" eyes and pointy noses. Black women were Malaysian hair to Brazilian, Indian Hair while Black rappers in America rap to hip hop music but glorifying white, blond hair women on videos and mentions them on songs. The Latin community rather identify and mark white as their race when clearly their melanin dominates.

The images of white women constantly forced down our throats. These white women we see all around us; in Magazines, on Televisions shows, commercials on advertisement on billboards and in department stores posters, everywhere. In Spanish Telenovelas, all the actors are blonde hair blue eyed Spaniards and in China most cartoons characters resemble white people.

Everywhere, a white woman is seen as a trophy. I don't see how we could of fell for that trick though. There has got to be a better explanation to the psychological disorder that is affecting the mind and the emotional state of these people.

The most common hair color in the world naturally occurring is black/brown hair. Eyes that are as exotic as a tropical island or an Asiatic flower, shaped in all kinds of almond size shapes are the most diverse and commonly found in millions of Indigenous, ancient tribes world wide. Kinky hair coils also range in the most admirable ways in the world and is the best hair grade to have in all hair colors and types. This is why thousands of hair styles are modeled on black hair only, because this hair is increased with melanin, hence; strong.

White skin is considered a mutation, blonde hair is the worse hair type in color and in texture. The stereotype of a blonde hair girl or woman to act ditsy or "stupid" is usually associated with blonde hair people because they literally are recessive. The expression, "having a blond moment" means truley that people with this hair color are "missing a link" therefore, they lack basic common sense because they lack what is needed to properly function including pigmentation and that is Melanin.

We, all people of color, in the Melanin world are truly in a trans which literally starts with this; you are what you eat. You think so toxic because everything you do around you is.
What you watch on TV is toxic. What you are being told in school is toxic.

The stolen generation happened in the late 18 hundreds that lasted all the way up until the late 1970's in Australia. Donald Trump is causing more ignorance and verbally declaring war on Mexicans allowing whites to display their lack of common sense and be abusive emotionally and verbally to Mexicans. Using them for their labor building these nice, sophisticated apartments for whites to live in then threatening them with calling Immigration. Talk about cheap labor? Many US Companies "hire" Mexicans from Mexico to come to the US and work seasonal. Many US Companies also talk about being a Proud American, arrogant about the USA yet, products still are manufactured in China. Donald Trump is a bigot along with the rest of the non-Melanin Politicians that always use this "Immigration Reform" hot topic to stir up more oppression on the Melanin race.

Mexicans are one of the Original Native Tribe's of the North American Continent. Arizona, Texas and Mexico, to name a few, was once Mexico as early as one hundred years ago. Arizona just celebrated its centennial in 2012. Before Texas, Arizona and California, named after Indigenous words, became these states, they were Mexico land filled with a whole bunch of MEXICANS. First, the Hispanic/Latino terminology is ceased and classified as Indigenous of Mexican Origin.
Second, the classification of Mexicans under the White/Caucasian Race should be completely eliminated and voided.

Mexicans should be addressed legally as, Indigenous Americans of Mexican Origin.

American Whites need to openly and admittedly give a formal apology, as the British did to the Black Australian Aborigines for stealing their younger generations, to Mexicans for the illegal deportation of millions of US and Mexico born citizens. They were deported, some to a country they have never been, all to create jobs for Americans. This was illegal and until we publicly recognize that especially during a crucial time in American History in the year 2015, we will continue to be mislead on who the real illegals are. Many people have not forgiven, the military enforced, deportation of Mexicans that the US government did not even one hundred years ago. "Immigration Reform" same discussions that we hear every single campaign for Presidency. Donald Trump is disrespectful and Immigration reform is a continuous disrespect against my people.
