So the weather has been pretty sweet here in England over the weekend! I was actually sweating in my leather jacket (too much information, sorry) on Saturday. I took a leisurely stroll into Southsea as there was a flea market on. I totally scored a quilted velvet jacket, and a black pleated skirt with yellow polka dots! I'm sure I'll be showing those off very soon.

I wanted to show you the shoes that Le Bunny Bleu very kindly sent me. I am a sucker for brogues anyway, but these ones are ACID WASH! The perfect combination for me, no?

I wore them with this black dress I got from Dahlia for a mere ten pounds at the clothes show. The shoes were super comfy, and they fitted me perfectly! They have a very handy size converter on their website, so you can measure your foot to ensure the perfect fit. :)

We're half way through the week! I hope you're all having a good one. I am eagerly looking forward to the weekend!

Today it was looking pretty gloomy out, so I thought, "what better way to brighten up my day, than with this skirt?". It's pretty bright. I love it though, and the print is totally consistent with the south pacific trend that's around at the moment! Score!

It is still February though, so I paired it with a plain black tee and my leather jacket. I'd like to thank Cotton Fields Vintage for sending me this skirt, I can't wait to wear it with bare legs come summer!

Also, I did some styling for a shoot the other day, so will be posting some photos of that soon too!

Hey guys!

Today's outfit consists of a faux fur coat that my auntie gave me. Pretty nice of her right!? I thought so too.

It's the perfect way to stay warm and chic, and I decided to compliment the grey with white and blue. I bought this skirt from h&m for £12.99, and I didn't realise at the time how much of a great buy it was - as you all know, I literally live in this skirt! It's surprisingly easy to remix, and I've worn it time and time again.

I also got these brogues from this online store called Deichmann Shoes. They were super cheap, £7.99 with free delivery I think, and they are great quality too! You have to sift through a lot of bad shoes to get to the good stuff, but I'd definitely recommend you check out their website.

Well, this metallic pleated fabric seems to be everywhere at the moment, and I couldn't resist this skirt when I saw it in Topshop in December! I knew that it would be a versatile piece, and I'm glad I bought it.

Today I decided to pair it with Velvet. It's actually a Velvet dress I'm wearing, (you can see it peeking out of the bottom of my skirt, school boy error on my part!) but I think it works well as a top too. It also kept me that little bit warmer! I love the mix of textures between the knitted cardigan, velvet dress and metallic skirt.

Of course the outfit wasn't complete without my creepers and rucksack, which I am completely addicted to at the moment! I know some people aren't keen on creepers, but I am smitten with them - sold!

So seeing as it's absolutely FREEZING over here at the moment, (disclaimer: it's like 3 degrees, nowhere near as cold as most places) I decided to whip out my fleece coat from last year's charity shop finds! Salvation army, 2.99, bargain. It also has buttons for where a hood used to be, but there was no hood when I bought it. Pretty bummed about that.

Also, I wanted to tell you about something pretty exciting that's happening local to me. Southsea, where I'm from, are holding their very own Fashion Week in August! Cool right?

To make things even cooler, I get to blog and style for it! I'm blogging for them already actually. There are still a few things under maintenance, but I will hopefully have a badge in the sidebar soon to take you straight to the blog. I will also be putting my posts on this blog anyway, so you can read them here too. The blogging is all done on Tumblr, so if you have Tumblr, come follow us! We have two Tumblr's, and I'd love it if you would check them out here and here. There are a few bloggers working on it, but everyone signs their name at the bottom of each post. It was difficult to get photos for this outfit; as usual the weather was not on my side.

Do you like my new blog layout? It's very simple. I fancied something new again, so a friend helped me out! There will be a link in the sidebar to his site shortly.

I have some really exciting news that I am dying to share with you guys, but I can't just yet! It's killing me. But, patience is a virtue. I guess.

I'm behind on outfits posts again. I have quite a few building up now. Saying that, I didn't manage to get any last week, as the winds here were so horrendous! It was horrible. Wind is definitely my worst enemy.

As I write this, I am suffering some pain in my teeth. You see, I am still eating left over christmas goodies, and I have just polished off my Haribo Christmas Mix that I received in my stocking. Now my teeth are paying the price! It serves me right, you shouldn't eat sweets before dinner, kids! I still have tons of chocolate left over too... times are hard.

I wanted to show you the jacket that I got for christmas! I always want to wear faux fur, but I can never find the right jacket. The ones that are quite big and bulky don't suit me, and the lighter coloured ones blend in with my hair too much. Imagine my delight when I found this baby in Topshop! Faux fur and Faux leather, biker-esque... It had to be done. So I went halves with my mum, and it became my christmas present!

It's been a while, again. Shame on me...

I wish I could write songs. It's so often that I hear a song and think, "wow, this song really sums me up.". Why is it that someone can write a song that puts me down to a T, yet the thought of me putting all of my feelings onto paper is just ridiculous? Music is a huge part of my life, yet listening to bands and going to gigs just doesn't seem enough. To be able to write songs and channel my life into music would be wonderful. I'm oh so jealous of people who have this ability. However, I don't think I have it in me at all. I don't believe that lyrics could come naturally to me, without sounding like something a 12 year old has written. How do you write about how you feel, whilst translating it into something poetic with a hint of mystery that people can interpret however they wish? I think people just have it or they don't. You can't go to brit school and be taught to write songs. Well, you can, but all that will come out is over-produced plastic music. Do you just practice and practice until you get better? I can't ever imagine that this was the case for the likes of Morrissey. It all seems comes so naturally.

I remember, when I was about 9, I had this silver notebook. I wrote some sort of lyrics in there (9 years old, who knows what they were about?). My Mum found it and I got totally embarassed and threw the whole notebook in the bin. I guess my song writing career ended there!

I also wish that I started playing an instrument. I'm only 19, but it feels too late to start learning now. I know there are no rules, but I feel that it's something that you should start doing in your mid teens really. When you have no job and all the time in the world to practice and practice. I did learn the Cello for about a year when I was 12 or something, though... I wouldn't know what to do with it now.

I went to bed at about 9pm tonight (I'm still catching up on sleep!) but woke up at 2am thinking about this. I'm not sure why. I've been thinking about it a lot lately, but my mind kept ticking over so I decided to turn on my laptop.

The song above is one of those songs that I felt should have been written by me. Weird. You should listen to it, it's really good.

I doubt anyone will read this.

Well, here's some unrelated photos. I don't like them because it's that time of year when the light is really uneven as the sun starts setting. The lighting in each picture is different, but I'm no computer whizz kid. I just click "auto fix" and crop them. And I look so bad. I wasn't feeling too good. You can tell by my watery eyes and red nose. But what can you do? I'm fine now!

Hi Everyone!

Long time, no see - right? Sorry about that. When I'm not working, I'm doing college work. When I'm not doing college work, I'm socialising so that I don't actually turn crazy. BUT I handed in my college project for christmas today, and now I'm spending the rest of the day being lazy and catching up on your blogs. Hooray!

I feel pretty festive today, wearing my Cotton Fields Vintage jumper. Check out their Asos Market Place here, or find their website through the banner in the sidebar. I decided to pair it with this vintage knitted skirt, my fur trim socks and my new Dahlia jacket for ultra warmth. It's so cold now!

I actually feel really ill today, so lying in bed, catching up on blogs and listening to music is perfect. My eyes and nose are literally streaming as I type. This is my reason for looking kinda bad in these photos too!

Also, just a couple of pictures from Sunday, when me and Nicole went to watch The Heartbreaks at the Wedgewood Rooms. Their performance was excellent as usual, and I am loving their new song "Bitter Sweet". It's just a shame they don't have more fans in Portsmouth! Oh, I've also decided that after college I am going to invest into a proper camera. It would be nice to take decent photos at gigs, and for my blog of course.

Hello Everyone!

I hope you are all having a good start to the week. :)

Mine has been pretty good so far, I went to Southampton last night to watch The Vaccines. I'm not a huge fan to be honest, but the support band Frankie & the Heartstrings are one of my faves, so that was good. They djed at the after party and me and Nicole had a great night!

I got this beaut of a dress courtesy of Dahlia Fashion. I really love the colour and I know that I'm going to live in this outfit for a while! They also have a fab competion to win FOUR party dresses on their website at the moment, go check it out!

I wanted to make it a bit different, so I wore it with my creepers, and vintage belt and cardigan. This outfit felt really me and super comfy, which makes me happy! I also love my beanie hat that I got from h&m the other day. This outfit felt kinda geeky with my big clumpy shoes, but I like it. Clumpy shoes are definitely the way forward anyway!

Hi Guys,

Well, finally the weather is starting to feel like it should for this time of year! I quite like the cold, as long as it's not too windy or rainy then the cold is fine for me. Plus, it gave me a chance to wear my Dahlia cape that I got for christmas last year! I am still completely in love with it.

The cold weather is also allowing me to make use out of the hundreds of long sleeve shirts and blouses I have - pretty much all of them are thrifted. I bought this one a loooong time ago, and this is the first time I've worn it! I really love the embroidery detail and the colours. It's too big for me but most of the shirts I buy are - I like them like that.

So I decided to keep the red and blue colour theme going and wear my blue velvet shoes from Topshop (<3) and my vintage bag from Cotton Fields Vintage (also <3).

Also, I have no idea what "style" this outfit falls under. Any suggestions?

Hello Everyone,

For today's look, I decided to layer this comfy jumper over my blue Dahlia dress. I don't usually wear these sort of colours, so it made a refreshing change! Don't you just love how the collar peeks out? A belted jumper is the perfect way to cosy up a dress for winter. I am wearing nude tights here, as I didn't want to get cold!

I have complete writers block, but I do recommend that you check out this song. It's by a band called The Crookes, from Sheffield. The singer has a beautiful voice, the guitars are jangly and poetic, and the lyrics are relevant and interesting. I saw them live last month and it was a really wonderful gig. I hope they tour again soon! So please take some time to listen to their latest single, it won't disappoint!

I know, I know. I have been THE worst blogger ever! I am so sorry. But you really don't need to hear me moaning about how busy I am...

I wore this outfit a couple of weeks ago. It was really casual and comfy, but I love the mix of textures between the denim bag, cord trousers, leather jacket and faux fur hat! I also like the contrast between the girly blouse and the tough boots. I always love a good contrast! It's a geeky outfit, but I like it. Kinda like geeky grunge?

Nicole bought me this gorgeous Crochet dress back from America (Forever 21 of course) and these are the first proper photos I've had wearing it! I borrowed the feather earrings from her too, aren't they cute?

Don't you just love this blouse? I do love a vertical striped blouse, I have another one which you can see here, and I really need to wear it more often!

Cotton Fields Vintage sent me this Navy and White striped blouse and I absolutely love it. I decided to wear it with these new faux leather trousers I got from H&M - which are an absolute steal at £14.99 by the way! - my doc marten-esque boots, my black hat and some black lipstick for extra edge.I actually love this outfit, it's so comfortable and easy to wear, whilst feeling incredibly "cool" at the same time. Don'tchya think? I am also very pleased that the weather is getting cooler, because this meant I could add my suede jacket from Forever 21, and my awesome leather gloves! I love autumn, is definitely the best season. Yay!
