Well it's over like Rover for Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos

Tom Brady and the New England Patriots made sure that Tebow will not be on the field at Lucas Oil Stadium competing for the big prize, the coveted Super Bowl ring on Super Bowl Sunday...

There were winners and losers this past weekend...Miss Wisconsin won the title of Miss America 2012 and even Madonna won a Gong at the Golden Globes 2012 Award Show this past weekend in Hollywood...And yes, Madonna will be performing at Super Bowl XLVI's half-time show on February 5, 2012 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis...But which teams will win and which teams will lose in the AFC and NFC Championship games???...We will find out soon enough...Speaking of losers... Although Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers lost to the New York Giants, Rodgers is a winner in the new Miss America's book...

Ballot Controversy Iowa Caucuses Results 2012

Who won the 2012 Iowa Republican Caucus???...That's the question of the day...

But the answer may not be revealed until around the 17th of January...That's when the truly official certified count will be revealed...Well just in case you are unaware, a Ron Paul supporter, by the name of Edward True (you've got to love his surname as it relates to this story) was working at the Appanoose County caucus counting ballots...And just like many of the 800 million or so people of Facebook, he decided he wanted to share the Appanoose results with his friends/connections/followers/subscribers on Facebook... Low and behold, when he looked at his hand scribbled note, he discovered that the Iowa Republican Caucus' preliminary reported results for Appanoose County were different than what he had written down...Crazy right...Well, welcome to the democratic good ole U.S. of A...Sorry, I'm still trying to get over how when they recounted the votes in George W. Bush's brother's state of Florida, it just so happened that Al Gore lost the Presidential Election in 2000... Oh well, that's election fanfare for ya...Check out why the 2012 Iowa Caucuses results may not be true in this video...

Well not that my opinion really matters much in this crazy controversy, but I believe that the election process is just that, a futile process that must be exercised even though some persons somewhere (and I don't mean the majority of the American public) have already decided who the next president will be...For the sake of PR, I think the whole process has to be played out for the benefit of the masses that might still truly believe that their individual votes actually count...

Although there are seven candidates currently hoping for the Republican nod, the three top slots are currently being held by Mitt Romney, Rick Santorum and Ron Paul...A while back I thought that when Jon Huntsman came out of nowhere I thought that he might be the chosen one, but I could be wrong...If he doesn't make it all the way this year, it's possible that he could get the consolation prize to run as VP...At any rate, I think that he may be the one to watch in 2016, if the Republicans don't pull off a win this year...Now as for this year, I wonder how long Ron Paul is going to stay in the leading heap...So far, Ron Paul looks to be the strongest underdog in this race...Stay tuned in as the "Presidential Election Process" World turns...Let us know in the comments below if you think this controversy is evidence of democracy at its best, or not...

I am sure all of you NBA Basketball fans are surely glad that the drama of this years NBA Lockout is history...Because with NFL Football winding it's way to a close, there needs to be some pro-ball action for sport fans to tune into...Chris Paul, formerly of the New Orleans, LA Hornets, currently plays for the L.A. Clippers and has kicked off this new season on his new team with nine assists and 20 points yesterday...That's the beginning of a new chapter for Chris Paul and the Los Angeles Clippers following the crazy drama of the trade that almost didn't happen...In the end the Clippers traded Eric Gordon to the New Orleans Hornets along with the 2012 first-round draft pick which they had acquired from the Minnesota Timberwolves...

The Charlotte Bobcats will be playing at home for their next three games on Dec. 26th, 28th and the 30th...The Denver Nuggets will be hosted by the Dallas Mavericks tonight and return for a home game in Denver on the 28th of Dec., followed by a road game at the Rose Garden against the Portland Trail Blazers on Dec. 29th... Jon Bon Jovi was alive and well in New Jersey on Monday night, tweeting and posting a picture of himself in front of a Christmas tree with a date stamp to squash the crazy rumors that he was dead...This apparently isn't the first time that he has been knocked off, and thankfully for him it is not his last...Check out this video from the HollyscoopTV that verifies that Jon Bon Jovi's death was just a rumor...

There are a lot of netbooks like this on the market, but what really stands out for me on this one is the keyboard, FULL size main keys with ALL the cursor movement keys: DEDICATED up, down, right,left, PGUP, PGDN, HOME and END. Cyber Monday Deals Week is in full effect today through December 3rd at Amazon...Black Friday's consumer spending this year was higher than it was last year...This weekend a new spending record was set at $52.4 billion...People are really getting into the holiday spirit...Well, it's Cyber Monday and there are plenty of deals to be had online and especially at Amazon.com...One of the hottest items of the year is the tablet PC...And lots of people will probably be stuffing stockings with those little gems...

The Case of Natalie Wood, Death by Drowning has been reopened by the LA County Sheriff's Department

Near the 30 year anniversary of the death of Natalie Wood, one of America's legendary actresses, new evidence has prompted the new inquiry surrounding the circumstances of her death on November 29, 1981...At the time of her death there were three other people aboard the yacht which she owned with her husband, Robert Wagner, the star of the television series Hart-to-Hart...Some of the inconsistencies in the stories of the persons on board the yacht, Splendour, surround whether she had gone to her stateroom before her husband and others and whether or not the family's guest Christopher Walken had retired before Natalie had...Her husband, Robert, has claimed that he last saw her alive in their state room as she was doing something with her hair...He then returned to the deck area to socialize more with their guest, Mr. Walken...Mr. Wagner's version of the tale of that night's unfortunate turn of events changed in regards to how the bottle of wine was broken...While the main person with a completely different narration of events was the captain of the boat for the evening, Dennis Davern...Mr. Davern has worn many hats in respect to his relationship with Robert Wagner and his deceased wife Natalie Wood...Dennis Davern has been reported as having been a bodyguard to Natalie and a confidante...Other times he has been described as a former roommate to Robert Wagner...And right now he wears the hat of co-author of a book with Marti Rulli entitled, Goodbye Natalie, Goodbye Splendour...Mr. Davern's most recent account of that fateful night involve accusations, arguments and unexplained bruises...

Natalie Wood's drowning occurred as the Splendour was anchored just 50 feet off the coast of Santa Catalina Island...There was heavy drinking by all parties onboard the Splendour that terrible night...Dennis Davern's latest version of events states that he and Robert Wagner discussed exactly what they would tell the investigators after Natalie's disappearance from the boat, to be certain their narrations matched up to ensure that there would not be any need for a more thorough investigation into her death...And of course, Natalie's death was ruled to be accidental drowning (see archived CBS News video below from 1981)...Not only has Mr. Davern's eyewitness account probably instigated the investigation into the cause of Ms. Wood's death being reopened, another witness, Marilyn Wayne says she heard a woman repeatedly screaming for help that night...Ms. Wayne says she tried to contact authorities on the night that Ms. Wood died, but there was no answer...The last scream that she heard in a woman's voice was around 11:45 pm that night...After Ms. Wood's body was found, a medical examiner said that Natalie Wood's finger were still pliable, meaning that rigor mortis had not set in...This fact alone leads him to believe that if they were alerted sooner she could have been saved...Natalie Wood's body was recovered six hours after she was reported missing...

In Mr. Davern's new account, he says that Mr. Wagner did not want the search light turned on and that he waited before placing the call to report his wife missing...Everyone associated with the couple considered them to be deeply in love...This was the second time they had been married to each other... The Countdown for Major Deals and Giveaways That Holiday Shoppers and Retailers are Anxious For is On

Major retailers are starting Black Friday deals on Thanksgiving Thursday...WalMart and Toys R Us will be opening at 10 pm Thursday night...Best Buy will be will open on "Black Midnight"...The ads are out and the race is on...Which retailers have your attention???...

Well unfortunately for Target the attention they are getting is negative press...Because one of their employees, Anthony Hardwick of Nebraska, has started a petition at change.org against working Thursday night...He's determined that he'll have to go to sleep early afternoon on Thanksgiving, instead of enjoying time with friends and family, so that he will be well rested enough to perform well on his 10-hour shift that begins at 11pm...Well over 193,00 supporters have joined Anthony Hardwick...One of the supporters, Deborah Schwartz, had this to say:

"I'm so tired of turning on the news the Monday after Black Friday and having to hear about how much money the big retailers did or didn't make. As if that's the point of our year-end holidays. I'm tired of Christmas being promoted BEFORE Halloween. I'm sick and tired of these attempts to brainwash us into thinking Christmas is about how much money we spend. Every American has the right to spend Thanksgiving with their families - its a national holiday! This is employee-abuse, plain and simple, and an threat to EVERY American worker. Target, stop exploiting your employees! (Thanks, Anthony, for creating this petition.)"

And at least 418 people agree with her view as well...And similar to how the Occupy Wall Street movement has spread, so has the sentiment of retail employees and their supporters...An employee of Best Buy in Florida, Rick Melaragni, has also started a petition and has over 10,700 supporters...Protesters are asking for shoppers to boycott any retailers that are opening before 5am/6am Friday morning, for early Black Friday related deals ...What do you think???...Will capitalism rule Black Friday again this year and the years to come???...It's a crazy situation because people need to work, jobs are hard to come by, the economy is bad and industry insiders, such as the National Retail Federation, don't really expect sales to dramatically increase, even with all the Black Friday hype, in comparison to last year, anyway...

Big Brother is not welcome

Diaspora social network was started by four New York University students, Ilya Zhitomirskiy, Dan Grippi, Max Salzberg and Raphael Sofaer...They actually came up with the crazy idea not to sell or share YOUR personal information which you have entrusted in their network (to advertising companies for monetary gain)...Their inspiration came when they sat in on an address by Dr. Eben Moglen, a Columbia University law professor, to the Internet Society's New York Chapter...Dr. Moglen attributed centralized social networks of "spying for free"...

Crowd sourcing was used to generate startup capital for Diaspora, the not for profit, user owned distributed social networking site...On April 24, 2010, Kickstarter, a microfunding website launched their project for them, estimating that it might take 39 days to raise the assessed $10,000 that they required to get their project officially off the ground...Well, within 12 days they had raised their measley $10k and raised a total of $200,000 from more than 6500 investors including Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Facebook...It was the second most successfully launched project on the Kickstarter website...

On November 23, 2010 the alpha version of Diaspora was released privately by invitation only... The Diaspora Foundation website launched at the end of September 2011...Next a fundraising campaign which started in October 2011 was temporarily suspended when PayPal froze the foundation's account (which had raised over $45k dollars in a few days) and then eventually releasing it without an explanation or apology... So of course the foundation diversified its funding streams by adding Stripe and Bitcoin as donation avenues...

In an equally strange turn of events one of the co-founders, Ilya Zhitomirskiy died, at the age of 22, on November 12, 2011 from an apparent suicide...Some speculate that
the pressures of being part of high-profile startup could have played a factor in his apparent suicide...It's entirely possible, since some apparent haters of this decentralized social networking project posted negative comments on posts related to Zhitomirskiy's death...

Despite some negative reviews, a major well received feature of Diaspora is that its users own their own data, forever and a day, and therefore they have complete control on how it is shared and each user can download all text and images anytime they choose...As of September 2011, Diaspora was still in the alpha stage, needing to work out the kinks with the video uploading and embedding capabilities...Diaspora's future is unknown since the hype has faded with the negative reviews by hackers of large security problems in their code...

Diaspora has 180,000 users in contrast to Google+ with 40 million and Facebook with 800 million... Diaspora's slogan is "Share what you want, with whom you want"...In other words, Big Brother will only be watching you by invitation only...

, she quit her job as a teacher and
went to work for her mother-in-law Estée Lauder, whose company of the same name was founded in 1946...

When Evelyn Lauder joined Estée Lauder, they were only marketing six products... Ms. Lauder was the creator of the Clinique brand at Estée Lauderand she developed its product line and training system...She was the first person ever to wear the white lab coat that is still worn by Clinique salespeople at cosmetic counters in department stores worldwide...

The Evelyn H. Heavy D's Autopsy has been completed... Although the coroner has not released the results

The Entertainment Industry, stars, fans, friends and family of Dwight Arrington Myers, bka "Heavy D" are still reeling from his sudden death...It seems he was poised for a comeback, potentially courting thirty-something year old hip-hop fans...Standing 6'3" and usually weighing in over 300 lbs, he had managed to shed 150 lbs in 2005 for the lead role for a Will Smith production, "Medal of Honor Rag"...You can see in the photo above how much lighter he looked in 2008... But you will see in the report below from ABC News that last month, October 2011, when he performed, at the BET Hip-Hop Awards, for the first time in over 15 years that he had regained a lot of the lost weight...

Boxing fans worldwide and Hip Hop Music fans around the globe are mourning the deaths of two great men, each in their respective arenas...Boxing legend "Smokin' Joe" Frazier died from the effects of liver cancer at the age of 67 in Philadelphia ~~on the same day as "Heavy D"~~ on November 7, 2011 (I apologize for erroneously reporting that Joe Frazier and Heavy D died on the same day...The news reports of both deaths were heavily reported on the same day November 8, 2011)...Heavy D died on November 8, 2011 at a hospital in Los Angeles at 1pm...

Joe Frazier's professional boxing record was 32-4-1 with 27 knockouts...He held the World Heavyweight Championship belt from 1968 to 1973...Before turning professional, Frazier also won the heavyweight gold medal in the 1964 Summer Olympic Games...Although he defeated Muhammad Ali, his archenemy, in the 15th round in the 1971 "Fight of the Century", he was defeated by Ali in the 14th round in the 1975 "Thrilla in Manila" fight in the Philippines... The infamous boxing promoter Don King said that Frazier was, "the embodiment of what a great heavyweight champion and person should be."...

Sadly enough Dwight Arrington Myers, bka "Heavy D", also died on Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at the age of 44 apparently of respiratory distress after having flu-like symptoms the day before prompting a visit to the
doctor...And his cousin, Ruddy Phillips said that he had been complaining of having a "touch of pneumonia"... Heavy D turned actor after first achieving success as a rapper, record producer, singer and the former leader of Heavy D and the Boyz...Heavy D was nominated for several awards including four grammys and won the award for Best Rap Album in 1990 at the Soul Train Awards...Having acted on television and in motion pictures his latest work can be seen in theaters now in the film "Tower Heist", which was premiered just four days before his death...

It's truly a sad and crazy coincidence that these two truly great men died on the same day...

Bond is back...James Bond, that is...aka 007...After moving past looming bankruptcy woes, MGM made the announcement at a press conference held on November 3rd that the 23rd film in the James Bond branded movie collection will premiere in the UK and Ireland in October 2012, while the U.S. premiere is scheduled for November 2012...The press conference for the latest film entitled "Skyfall" was held on the 50th year anniversary for the very first Bond film, starring non-other than Sean Connery, "Dr. No"...

Agent 007 will be played by Daniel Craig for a third time, while Javier Bardem will portray the film's villian... And of course you know that, no James Bond film is complete without a smattering of "Bond girls"... Naomie Harris will be playing Eve and French actress Bérénice Marlohe will be playing Sévérine...Filming officially began yesterday, November 7th...The venues for on location filming include Istanbul, Turkey, Argyll, Scotland, Shanghai, China and London, England...

There will be a documentary film crew following along with production of the film in commemoration of the50th anniversary...In 2002 there was a documentary about the Bond franchise based on the book "Bond girls Are Forever: The Women of James Bond", written by former Bond girl, Maryam d'Abo...There have been a few unofficial James Bond movies, including "Never Say Never Again" featuring Kim Basinger as a Bond girl and the forever handsome Sean Connery... Travel to Tiger Country for a Tailgating Time to Remember!!!

Ever thought about making a little trip down to Tiger country...The LSU Tigers, that is...Well I can tell you first hand that beautiful bayou views abound all around LSU's campus...There are beautiful magnolia trees and willows and nice little waterways or bayous where the locals go fishing...Fishing is a nice pastime, but right now it's football season down there in Tiger country...

Tailgating is what those Tiger fans will be doing before and after every game...Folks will have BBQ grills all fired up and you just might find somebody with some good ole Gumbo or Jambalaya on hand...I like my Gumbo with chicken, sausage and seafood...As a matter of fact that's how I like my Jambalaya too...Born and raised in bayou country has a sort of curse all it's own...You just love food...And for me that's the best part of tailgating or going to any football game...Hot dogs, popcorn and my favorite corn dogs...Yummy!!! ...Too bad it's not crawfish season...Cause crawfish boils are something that I'm sure all LSU Tiger fans would be doing...

Crawfish season or not, you just might be able to get your hands on a Crawfish Po-boy...Yes, indeed... Now that's crazy good eatin there...Speaking of good eatin...You have to go by Louie's Cafe (open 24 hours)...It's right outside the gate of LSU...They have some of the best omelettes (try the seafood omelette), hashbrowns, pancakes and cheeseburgers too...Oh and the fruit salad is just to die for...Yummy, Yummy, Yummy!!!

So hurry and call your travel agent and schedule your trip via plane, train, bus or automobile...Book your flight to Baton Rouge on the airline carrier of your choice (Delta, Continental, United, US Airways or American all fly from Louisville to Baton Rouge) for the weekend of November 12th (it's the homecoming game weekend)...LSU is playing Western Kentucky then...And if that's too short of notice for you, schedule your trip for Thanksgiving weekend...LSU will be playing Arkansas on Black Friday, November 25th at 1:30pm...So after the game you can run over to The Mall of Louisiana and stock up on all kinds of deals for this holiday season...

Go to Louie's Cafe early on game day and fuel up so that you will have energy enough to hang with all those die-hard Tiger fans...You could tell them that "Shelley sent ya", but you might get more play if you told them that "Les Miles sent ya"...Now I can't tell you whether or not Les Miles has been there or not, but I can tell you one thing that if I were in Tiger country I'd be right there...Y'all go there and enjoy some good eatin for me and come back and leave a comment to let us all know that it is as I said..."It's all that...Crazy good eatin!!!"
