I went into step-mom with too much speed... landed with my front wheel already going off the boulder. ~10ft to landing flat on my shoulder/chest. Knocked the wind out of me. Gonna be sore tomorrow for sure.

I redeemed myself this afternoon with some nice whips and half a dozen no-footers though! Finally getting them down. So

It was for their new bike park. The first open trail is pretty sick. I lapped a number of the jumps and berms with Andrew Whiteford and Jacki Strenio to get the shots. Once everything else is open next summer, it should be amazing. Slow and steady it's been getting better. Thanks Julie!

It was very hot out. We rode about 10 miles total on a couple different trails. We didn't have a map of the trail system, so we pretty much picked randomly where to go. Without knowing any of the trails, it seems pretty complex. It would be fun to do some more exploring back there. Maybe with a map next time.

The early July trip to Alaska was short, but great. I ran in the annual Mount Marathon race on the 4th. This was year 7 racing in the Adult division, year 9 overall (counting junior races).

Mamie came up to Alaska with me so we tried to keep busy. We went rafting on the Talkeetna River, went on a wildlife tour out of Seward, took a quick

I'm guessing a tower must be out. You kind of forget how much you rely on your cell phone and cell towers. At work, our entire computer system and credit card system were down. It made me think about the fact that I don't even have a land line at my home.

I sent it to Push Industries last week to get the Factory Rebuild and Factory Fork System kit where they use your weight and riding style to fine tune your fork for top performance. My appointment with Push is tomorrow so hopefully I will have my fork back by the weekend.

Robbie Maddison successfully jumped over the 279-foot wide Corinth Canal at a height of over 300 feet above the canal surface. He hit the jump at 78 mph.

Mom, you should be glad none of my bikes have ever had motors.
