Welcome to our life!

Can we be real for a minute...

2017-03-03T06:44:00.000-05:00

Can we be real with each other for a minute?

Why are people afraid of organic supplements (USDA Certified Organic at that)?

But, not of prescription medication?

Organic is being treated as "new age" medicine when it has been around a lot longer (forever) than prescription medication.

Have you ever listened to an ad on TV for some medications out there?.. may cause.. confusion, dizziness, (20 more side effects) and in serious cases, death.....

The sad thing is if FITTEAM FIT was given as a prescription medication, everyone would be taking it.. because, who doesn't need extra energy? Mood enhancement? Help with weight loss? A pre workout? Or any of the amazing benefits FIT provides?

I choose organic over prescription any day! What about you??

Today We Celebrate!

2017-02-12T12:47:00.000-05:00

It's been 7 years since I placed Isabell into her Daddy's arms for the very first time! Deployments aren't easy but without them, we wouldn't be who we are today!

Today we celebrate!

It's been awhile . .

2016-12-15T22:47:00.000-05:00

Its been awhile since I have updated here! Life has been crazy busy, but so much fun! Isabell is in 2nd grade already and LOVES to read and draw! Emma is in Kindergarten and loves to talk (apple doesn't fall far) and also loves to read and anything that involves music! Chris is still working full time for the government, National Guard for the Air Force one weekend a month and a shift or 2 every month in a local town as a Reserve Officer also. I started working when the girls started school and that has been life changing for us all! I make my own schedule so am able to help out at school anytime I want and am loving what I do. Everyone is happy and healthy for the most part. Seems runny noses haven't stopped for awhile but I can't complain. It could be worse, right? Here are a few pictures of what we have been up to around here!

5 years!

2015-02-12T15:37:00.001-05:00

I can't believe it has been 5 years ago today that I placed Isabell in Christopher's arms for the very first time! A day I thought would take forever to come, is one I will never forget. Emotional to say the least but very thankful at the same time....

They just don't understand . . .

Special Moments!

2014-10-18T12:31:00.001-04:00

Christopher has been working hard for our family to provide for us and to make it possible for me to be able to stay home! The girls don't always understand why he isn't home when they wake up as he works a weird schedule. Today we had to run an errand and he happened to be in our neck of the woods so we got a surprise visit from him that warmed our hearts!!

Birthday Bash 2014!

2014-09-10T16:45:00.001-04:00

We had an AMAZING weekend!

*here is a video*

Ready or not . . . here she comes!

2014-09-02T20:30:00.000-04:00

BOTH girls were wide awake before the alarm rang this morning! We have been talking about this day for a long time so they knew it was very important! I talked myself into being okay with my first born, the child I JUST gave birth to was heading off to Kindergarten and there was NOTHING I could do to stop the hands of time. If I had that super power . . . . . . would I? I don't think so. I love my babies and wouldn't trade my job for anything on this earth BUT I am also so very excited to see what the future holds for them. When you stop and think about it, it isn't so scary.

I held it together this morning but had to reassure Daddy that she was in safe hands and was going to do fantastic! I worried all day that when we arrived to pick her up, that she would be bawling her eyes out but I was completely wrong! She was smiling ear to ear but looked EXHAUSTED! Daddy took us for ice cream right from school and she told us all about her day. When we got home it was bath time, dinner then ready for bed. BEFORE dinner was ready we had to scare her to keep her awake, she was so tired and just wanted to go to bed. I think it was around 6:15 that she was DONE . . . OUT and we tucked her into bed! Our baby isn't a baby anymore. She will be 5 on Sunday and she makes me so proud! Today was the first day of so many years of school but she rocked today!

Bittersweet Times!

2014-08-31T13:32:00.001-04:00

My babies have been with Grandma for 5 days and I have gotten soooo much done while they have been gone but I am ready for them to come home today! Diapers have been replaced with new panties...bibs have been replaced with paint smocks...diaper bag has been replaced with a back pack and I have shed many, many tears!

In just a few days my babies will be turning 3 and 5! WHAT? I can't even believe it! When I first gave birth to them everyone always said "don't blink" and they were right! Time goes by so fast! I am so thankful that God gave me these blessings! Being a Mommy is the BEST job in the whole wide world!

Here we go...

2014-08-26T10:06:00.001-04:00

Today, we went to Isabells new school and met her teacher and had her picture taken also! I felt like I couldn't breathe when I woke up this morning...was she ready for this? Should we have done another year of preschool for her? Was she going to be assigned a teacher that was going to be right? As soon as we walked into her room, I felt like I could breathe again! She found her locker, seat at her table and went right to work with what her teacher asked! She wasn't being shy AT ALL! We have another full week until school starts and now I feel like we are ALL ready!

You can't water the grass without dancing in it too!

Wolcott Mill

2014-08-22T21:17:00.001-04:00

We jumped in the car and headed out to a surprise adventure as a family! We ended up at Wolcott Mill and spent a few hours looking at and petting animals!

We had a GREAT day!

Almost Party Time!

2014-08-18T13:54:00.001-04:00

I love planning the girls party every year! With them being 1 day apart, for now, we can get away with throwing one big party! Some people think we are crazy for having a party every year but we love our friends and family so why not all gather together and have some fun?

The big discussion has been the theme . . . of course they wanted Frozen but Mommy said "NO" then one said unicorns and the other said horses. I am thinking no theme and just favorite colors but we will just have to wait and see. The date and time was the hardest part because it is Air Show weekend and Daddy has to work all weekend but my entire family will be in town for the Air Show so lets just kill 2 birds with 1 stone and have an excitement filled weekend! I am sure I will have a "few" pictures to share of the party but first things first . . . KINDERGARTEN!

Practice makes perfect . . . eventually!

2014-08-18T11:37:00.000-04:00

I busted out our printing practice books this morning and it was fun . . . at first!

and then THIS happened! She couldn't figure out why her D's and B's were backwards!!! The world ended for a few minutes but now all is well!

Twins!

2014-08-17T10:25:00.001-04:00

No...we are NOT expecting twins but I feel like we have twins! The girls are 2 years and 1 day apart and they love exactly the same things! We have 2 of everything and if we don't, it's always a fight! While I cleaned and reorganized the entire basement yesterday I kept the girls entertained with older magazines so they could circle things they wished for since their birthdays are right around the corner! Oh my....we can wish for this and you can have this part and I can have that part! You can have Anna and I can have Elsa! If I get these shoes I will wear them then when they don't fit, you can wear them and the list goes on and on! I need ideas! They will be 3 and 5! What do you suggest for their ages? And go....

Night Away!

2014-08-13T18:22:00.000-04:00

My girlfriend Jenny called and said she had an extra cabin for the night and wanted us to come join her family at a KOA just 1/2 hour away! Chris got home from work and we headed out for a night away from home! Thank you so much Wiz Clan for inviting us, we had a GREAT time!

They keep me BUSY!

2014-08-13T15:17:00.003-04:00

They keep me busy but I wouldn't trade this job for anything!

Let It Rain!

2014-08-13T14:55:00.005-04:00

We had only been home for a few hours when the rain started. We closed the windows and were having quiet time when Chris said "what's that noise?" We BOTH knew it was rain coming into the house and we panicked but went into clean up mode right away! We had the shop-vac running as fast as it would go! Emptying it less than a minute after we turned it on . . . it wouldn't stop pouring in! I called one of my amazing girlfriends and she sent her brothers and husband over help us get the water out of the basement. Without hesitation, they pulled the hose inside and got to work right away! I could NOT believe how much water was coming in and how much they were sucking out! We cleaned up as much as we could but they had much bigger problems ahead so they headed out for probably the longest few days of their lives!

I woke up in the morning and HAD to get out of the house for a bit, I needed to check on one of our dear friends who also had water in their basement and I wanted to capture some pictures also! I didn't have to drive far to see devastation and hopelessness from so many people. People were carrying things out to the side of the rode that had been damaged, did they not have insurance? My heart broke! How could I complain about water in my basement when others lost so much? We have insurance that will take care of things so for that, I am thankful!

Please pray for everyone affected by all the rain . . PLEASE!

Love gift from GG June!

2014-07-25T11:22:00.001-04:00

Thank you Great Grandma June for our BEAUTIFUL new dresses!!!

They are growing toooo fast!

2014-07-22T13:35:00.001-04:00

I can NOT believe they will be 3 and 5 in just a few weeks!

Hayley Came to Visit!

2014-07-16T21:07:00.001-04:00

Fun in the Sun!

2014-06-16T18:19:00.002-04:00

We spent ALL day outside today and it was AMAZING!!

Can't find the right words for a title . . .

2014-06-13T17:17:00.001-04:00

I know I promised to update more and have sat down a few times but the words don't come out, I am blank, I am numb . . . we lost another friend, more are moving away, some are changing and I am just too emotional to write so I will leave you with some pictures of the girls!

Please remember to keep your friends and family close. Pray for them, tell them you love them and be there for them as much as you can!

Whhhhheeeeeewwwww!

2014-05-15T23:46:00.003-04:00

School just ended for the year

The weather hasn't been the greatest for the past few days

Mommy is "off" due to dates of the month ;-)

Daddy has been working with no days off

Girls allergies are acting up

SOOOO . . . . .

It was time to get out of the house, rain or not!

We met one of my girlfriends and her kids and watched Rio 2. The kids seemed to be entertained and liked the movie but mine became restless as nap time hit RIGHT before the movie ended. After the movie, we took the kids to celebrate National Cookie Day by getting a miniature Nestle Toll House Cookie of course! Then they ran around the outside mall for awhile and burned off some sugar and were EXCELLENT forms of birth control for all the couples walking around too ;-)

Once we got home, they weren't ready to go inside, despite the temperature dropping drastically! They were SOAKING wet but were having a blast dancing in the rain!

We came inside, took a bath, read a book and it was BEDTIME! It was just one of those days here but we laughed and everyone besides myself is currently snoring!
