I'm a member of a wonderful play date group and in April, we had a nice little outing to a family fun fair at our local eco park! It was a lot of fun!

This is the biggest bull frog I have ever seen!

She LOVED the turtles!

We had a pretty active week! Earlier in the week, our mommy group got together with all of the kids and had an Easter Party.

On Friday, we had a little mommy and daughter mani/pedi time. She picked out purple for her toes, but upon seeing me paint my nails a sparkly blue -she insisted that her fingers needed to match!

Then, on Saturday, Paige's daycare held an Easter Egg Hunt that we went to. This is Paige and her best friend (she says boyfriend!) Alex.

Mobile Monday: My Week in Phone Pics! - but on Wednesday!

Lots of pics this week! We were in the Dells Monday, Tuesday, and left Wednesday morning. Cell phone pics were the only ones I really got, and I didn't get any in the water park. I didn't want to carry my camera around or worry about it getting stolen.

So, the trip was sooo fun! The room we reserved was a standard room. 2 queen beds. The room our key unlocked was bigger than our first apartment. It was an African Queen Suite. It has 2 bedrooms. 1 room had 2 queen beds in it and the other had a king. It had 1 bathroom with a jacuzzi tub/shower and the other bathroom had a shower. Living room. Fireplace. Deck. This room was gorgeous. Way too big for 2 adults and 1 toddler, but I wasn't about to complain!

Check in was at 4, however if you arrived as early as 12, you could pre-register and get your wrist bands for the water park. We got there about 2:30, and the room wasn't ready. So, we decided to go eat. By the time we were done, the room was ready. We unpacked and of course, Paige could not get to the water park quick enough!

After the first night at the water park, we stopped in the arcade. All Paige cared about was riding these things.

After the arcade, it was about 8 pm so we decided to go play some mini golf. Watching Paige do this was HILARIOUS. She would hit the ball, then immediately go pick it up, put it 2 inches from the hole, and tap it in..followed by jumping up and down and clapping for herself.

The next morning, we had planned on going snow tubing. However...it ended up being really cold, and was kind of snowing, so we opted on getting full day passes to the indoor theme park instead. Paige's favorite thing was go-karts and the ferris wheel!

Giant...baboon?? Paige loved sitting on it.

More little rides!

Carousel! She loved this too. We rode it probably 10 times.

Daddy rode too!

After the amusement park, we grabbed some lunch at Denny's (LOVE!) and then went to the water park again at about 5:30. We got back to the room at about 7 and Paige passed out within 5 minutes of walking in the door. She was so tired!

We left the next morning!

HIttin' the road.

Nothing much happened throughout the week. From Friday to Sunday, we had Paige's best buddy over again. Their favorite thing to do this time around was rub their bellies together. hahaha

I took this last night. She was soooo worn out! She slept from 7 pm to 9 am this morning!

This is a screen shot I took last night/super early this morning. Thank you insomnia. Anyway - I posted this on facebook to show a friend. Let me know if you figure out why this bothered me so much :)

a traditional bathroom cleaning product ever again. Why? Well, thanks to Pinterest, I found an awesome little DIY recipe for soap scum fighter.

I was skeptical. Really skeptical. However, I'm willing to try anything once, especially if it saves me a lot of money AND works!!

Ingredients are: 1 cup Dawn and 1 cup of White Vinegar. Mix 'em up! The person on this blog warmed up the vinegar, but I can tell you that it works just as well at room temperature as I used it both ways!
I probably should have posted before and after pictures, but I wasn't thinking it through, really. I just went for it. When you are in the mood to scrub your tub, you just have to run with it!

Thanks to this little concoction, we are pretty sure that our tub is cleaner than when we moved in. It's AMAZING.

So, go try this. You'll love me for sharing it with you :)

A Quick Dinner Idea

Yesterday was a really long day. I had gotten less than 2 hours of sleep the night before (thank you, insomnia!) and was just not in the mood to make a big elaborate dinner. So, I looked in my fridge for the quickest and easiest thing I could think of. Then it dawned on me, I remembered I bought crescent rolls on a whim. I have never purchased these before, so I have no idea why I did.

Anyway.

I grabbed 2 packs of crescent rolls, ham, cheddar cheese, as well as marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese, and pepperoni.

For the first set, I separated the triangles and on each triangle, I placed 2 pieces of ham and sprinkled some cheddar cheese on them. Then, roll them up and place them tip down on an ungreased baking sheet.

(sorry for the awful light!)

For the next set, I spread some marinara sauce, topped that with some cheese and 4 pieces of pepperoni. Again, placed tip down on an ungreased baking sheet and bake until golden brown.

All in all, I spent maybe a total of 10 minute in prep and 5 in clean up. The rolls themselves took a grand total of 30 minutes to bake. SUPER EASY...and yummy too!

Pretty Sunset

I found this tucked into the handle of my van when we were done shopping at Wal-Mart. There wasn't one on any other van near me. Does my mini-van scream "Heathen!"?

This kid is so silly. I was in our room folding some laundry and all of a sudden, I hear the music from her little princess table start to play. It scared me! This thing was up in her room! The little stinker had set herself up in our closet aka "her house." Haha

Is anyone else having them? Whenever I post pictures, whether by uploading them to Blogger or linking from Photobucket, the HTML is so ridiculously wonky and I have no idea where to start. I am so-so with HTML. I can handle it, but this issue just is NOT making sense! Like my post earlier today - in the compose portion of Blogger, it looks great. But when you go to preview it, it looks really spaced out and scattered.
