There are nights when I want to make something that is quick and easy. The other night I wanted to make something easy but tacos, spaghetti or pizza didn’t sound good. I looked in the fridge and put together something different and very tasty!

I didn’t know what to call these at first, so I asked some friends on Facebook. One of the suggestions was Turkey Cheese Puffs and I thought it fit these perfect.

I only used a few ingredients too! I used the Pillsbury Grands Homestyle Butter Tastin Biscuits, cheese and shredded turkey. Here is how simple they are to make….

First you will want to take the biscuits, stretch them a little and form them into a non-stick muffin tin.

Next mix some shredded turkey and shredded cheese in a bowl.

Next fill up the inside of the biscuit with the shredded turkey and cheese mix.

Once filled, pinch the top of the biscuits to form a seal.

Place in the oven and cook on 350 for about 11-13 minutes. Once golden grown, remove from oven and enjoy!

I only added turkey and shredded cheese inside, but the possibilities for these are endless. Here are some ingredients you might want to add:

Veggies

Mushrooms

Pepperoni

Chopped ham

Chopped sausage

I received product samples to facilitate this post. I did not receive any monetary compensation and the thoughts and opinions stated herein are 100% my own.

One of my FAVORITE foods as a kid was Kraft’s Macaroni & Cheese. Anytime I would go over to my grandparents for the weekend, I knew I could count on at least a few of the blue Kraft boxes in the pantry just waiting for me. My Nana had me hooked on the blue box and I would never let my mom buy any of the generic brands.

Now Kraft has come out with yet another product that I like, their NEW Homestyle line. A line of Kraft Macaroni and Cheese products that you can make in your microwave that taste great and available in one serving containers. These come in real handy when I want pasta, but don’t want to turn on the stove and heat up the house.

The new Kraft Macaroni & Cheese Homestyle Bowls currently available in the following flavors:

Southwest Tortilla

Creamy Broccoli

Sharp Cheddar with Bacon

Hearty Four Cheese

White Cheddar

I have tried the Southwest Tortilla, Creamy Broccoli and the White Cheddar and enjoyed all three of these flavors. I think the White Cheddar has been my favorite so far. Below you will find pictures of the Southwest Tortilla flavor I took while making it. This one contains a cheese sauce, macaroni with real vegetables and tortilla chips to add to the top.

I like that these little meals are ready in 5 minutes or less. The Kraft Macaroni & Cheese Homestyle is also available in a larger 4 serving size as well if you want more than one serving.

Kraft Macaroni & Cheese was first introduced back in 1937 and has been has been making both moms and kids happy for over 75 years. Don’t get me wrong, homemade macaroni and cheese is delicious but sometimes us moms don’t have time to make everything from scratch and we have to rely on brands like Kraft to provide us with quick and easy dinner options.

To find out more about these Kraft products, please visit: http://www.youknowyouloveit.com or on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/kraftmacaroniandcheese

I am a Flatout Flatbread Blog Ambassador. I did not receive any compensation for this post, I just happen to LOVE the product. The opinions that are stated herein are 100% my own.

Ever since I tried the Flatout Flatbread products I am addicted. Especially the Artisan Pizza Thin Crust Flatbreads. I have been making a variety of pizzas with them including my Chicken & Bacon Flatout Flatbread Pizza, then I made Pepperoni Pizza on the BBQ grill the second round.

I didn’t stop there. I had to make my own Flatout Mexican Pizza.

A little salsa on the top makes it even better…

These are really easy to make too! Not too many ingredients and ready in under 10 minutes. You can of course add your own toppings to make it even better. I would love to try this pizza with some sour cream and guacamole like soon!

Here is a easy Flatout Flatbread Mexican Pizza:

I am excited to announce that I have added another cookbook to my collection. This one is a little different though when it comes to recipes, the Meals in a Jar: Quick and Easy, Just-Add-Water, Homemade Recipes is a collection of recipes for foods that you want to eat later!

Although I enjoy cooking, there are times when I don’t have time to plan out a meal from scratch. My two oldest know how to make box meals like macaroni & cheese, so I often keep these types of meals stocked in my pantry. I know have in my hands a book that has give me a lot of new ideas. Maybe even too many ideas.

I now want to make my own prepared meals, but not the ones I buy prepacked at the store. I want to make my own.

The Meals In A Jar is full of recipes for all sorts of easy ready-made meals. You will also find information on canning, dehydrating, equipments, ingredients and more. These meals are not only handy to have on hand when you are in a hurry to eat a meal, they also make for a great gifts too!

Here are some of the recipes in the book that I would like to make:

Pancake mix

Breakfast burritos

Broccoli Cheddar Soup

Chicken Noodle Soup

Macaroni and Cheese 4 Ways

Creamy Baked Pasta

Popovers

Cheddar Garlic Biscuits

Now these are just some that I want to make. There are too many to list. Right now you can score the Meals In A Jar book on Amazon on sale for only $10.82.

Disclosure – I received a copy of this book for review in exchange for this review. This post is not a paid post (but does contain affiliate links) and the opinions stated herein are 100% my own.

When it comes to my favorite foods, I would have to say that pizza is pretty high on my list. I have my favorite pizza places that I like to order take out from, but I also enjoy making my own pizza at home. With homemade pizza you can add your own ingredients, make it a little healthier and even probably save yourself some money.

When I make my own pizza, I usually made the dough from scratch but can take quite a bit of time. Since I have recently become a Flatout Flatbread Ambassador, I thought it would be fun to share with you YUMMY recipe that you can make that the whole family might enjoy with the new Flatout Thin Crust Flatbreads. These Artisan Pizza Thin Crust Flatbreads can be found at Walmart are currently available in four different varieties including Rustic White, Spicy Italian, Rosemary & Olive Oil, and Heritage Wheat.

My recipe is simple and requires some of my favorite ingredients (chicken, bacon, ranch & cheese). I used the Rustic White Flatbread with this pizza and plan trying the Spicy Italian flavor with some pepperoni and red sauce. My kids LOVED my Chicken & Bacon Artisan Pizza and I think the bacon had some effect on the new pizza mom made. They all asked for more!

Last month, since I love my slow cooker so much the hubby got me one of those cool triple buffet slow cooker systems. The slow cookers are only 1.5 quart, but will comes in handy for when I want to experiment and make different desserts. My first dessert I came up with for my mini slow cooker is some lemon blueberry cake. I got the idea from a recipe book and thought I would come up with my own version.

If you have a little crockpot too, here is a yummy recipe to spoil your tastebuds.

I admit that I LOVE cooking, but trying new recipes sometimes involves buying ingredients like seasonings and spices that you don’t normally buy. For those of you that like to cook like me, but hate shopping for all the ingredients just for one recipe, Fresh Dish might be handy to have in your bookmarks.

Fresh Dish is an online weekly DIY meal service that you can purchase all the ingredients for a meal and have them conveniently shipped your front door. When you receive the box of prepped ingredients you will also receive a recipe card that will also give you the instructions on how to make the dish.

Below is the Fresh Dish Pan Seared Chicken Sausage With Pears meal that I received and cooked for my family:

I like chicken sausage, but I will admit that I would have never thought to pair the sausage with pears. I am a fan of rice and I like brussel sprouts, so this dish was a hit for me. Using this service allowed me to cook a dinner that I wouldn’t have normally cooked.

For those families that are limited with their time, Fresh Dish offers a different variety of meals that you can purchase each week that can be cooked and ready to eat in 30 minutes or less. I like that the meals change each week and they usually have some pretty good options. You can choose to purchase Dinners For Two or their Family Size that will save you more per meal when buying a larger quantity.

On the Fresh Dish website you can find out the difficulty level of each of the meals, the nutrition facts, what comes with the meal and of course the directions on how to make it. If you are on Pinterest, you can also find pictures of their cooked meals on the Fresh Dish Pinterest board. By viewing the pictures, you can get an idea of what the meals are supposed to look like when they are finished.

Currently you can find the following meals available on the Fresh Dish website for purchase:

Chicken Di Parma with Steamed Broccoli & Savory Orzo

Pork Chops with Apple Raisin Chutney

Spinach, Corn, & Cheese Enchiladas Verde

Lamb Meatballs with Pita Bread, Hummus, Tzatziki Sauce & Salad

For years I cheated when it came to making beef stroganoff at home and used Hamburger Helper’s version. I only really made it though because it was something that my kids liked and asked for. I recently thought I would try making it homemade, using steak instead of hamburger meat.

When my oldest child started crawling, I remember being worried about all the chemicals and cleaners that I had in the house. Even after she was out of the stage of putting everything in her mouth, the bottles of cleaners under my kitchen sink always scared me. It was then I started to do a little research to find that there were products that I could buy to clean my home that were toxin free. I remember throwing out all those scary cleaning products with the warnings on the back to Keep Out Of The Reach Of Children. Never do I want my child to accidentally get into something harmful in my kitchen.

The toxin free products I originally bought years ago were products I had to order online, were a little pricey, but worth the cost. It was such a relief to be able to not have to constantly worry about the cleaning products that could be harmful to my family. I remember when I first heard about Seventh Generation products, I was excited to give them a try. I remember trying the products in my kitchen, but learned that they had more products. Not only can you clean the green way in your kitchen, Seventh Generation carries bathroom, laundry, baby and personal care items too!

Can you imagine a kitchen so clean that you could have your children and their friends eat off your countertops? Take a peek at this fun Seventh Generation video:

The toxin-free generation gets to have their cake and eat it too.
