New RPG Games to Try After MU

Any MU gamer here still able to access his or her MU Philippines account? For sure not one of you are able to, just like Elf Tarary. Looks like MU has finally closed its doors. Elf Tarary still tried to log in some time after the New Year but it was no use. It's really time to move on now and leave the world of MU behind!

Have you moved on? Every MU enthusiast knows this was a long time coming so it's no surprise anymore. Without MU around, what have you been doing with your spare time? Any new MMORPG you want to share?

I know World of Warcraft, Cabal, and Eve are among the big hits lately. But you know what? There are more massively enjoyable online gamed that you could branch out to! But some of them can't be played simply on your desktop. You got to have either a Nintendo Wii, Sony PlayStation or Microsoft Xbox 360! But who knows you might be getting one of these soon so better listen up for some of the games!

Final Fantasy XIII-2 is something to watch out for. According to the news, this will be available to the Xbox and PS3.

MU Philippines Shutting Down Soon!

MU Goes Free to Play? Yup it does that but there's even greater news. Greater doesn't always mean better right? Well, MU Philippines will be shutting down Elf Tarary has heard. I think everyone of you MGs, Knights, Elves, Lords of MU Philippines know about this by now.

So those who want to keep on playing are given the option to sign up on MU Global. There's still no official word as to WHEN MU Philippines will be closed down but it's going to happen soon. But as of now, it's still open and for those of you who want to enjoy it to the last minute you can do so. One day a you'll just be surprised that you can't log in anymore. Are you still going to wait for that day or you'll start distancing yourself from the game as early as now?

MU to be Free-to-Play?

It looks like Mobius is cooking up something for its precious players! When Elf Tarary opened the vortex leading to the MU Continent, she was surprised to read a nice news from Mobius. It said, "MU Goes Free to Play" and that it will take effect on November 1! This is surprising news indeed!

So, intrigued as she was, Elf Tarary clicked the link to read more about this surprising news. However, when the page opened, the information was not sufficient. It only said that Mobius is undertaking steps to make MU community better and that they will continue to inform MUtizens ith further updates.

What to Expect in MU's Dopple Ganger

Season 5 of MU brings with it a lot of goodies that Elf Tarary was able to experience and appreciate recently. On of them is the magical vortex of the Dopple ganger. She wouldn't be able to enter this magical vortex if Tarary didn't show her how.

There is an item needed to be able to enter this vortex and that's the Mirror of Dimension. You have to collect the drop called Sign of Dimension in order to create the Mirror of Dimension. Five Signs of Dimensions are needed to make a Mirror. And then once you have a Mirror, you need to head out to Elveland and find the guy standing in front of the fountain. Just present the Mirror to him and voila! he will let you in the Dopple ganger.

Now, Dopple ganger is a realm where you'll get to fight mobs of different kinds. The kind of world you'll find will be different each time you enter. And here's the twist, you have to make sure that nobody, not even one monster gets past the dedicated line or else, your time inside will be over. So, if you are planning to go there, it will be beneficial if you have at least one or two companions.

Anyway, Elf Tarary was able to fight some mobs there. At one time she was alone and the second time, she and Tarary went together.

Elf Tarary's Almost Double Shot to Fame

There was a time a few weeks ago when Elf Tarary shot to fame in the MU Continent. It would have been a double shot to fame on that same day if not for some circumstance.

Elf Tarary decided to join in on the quest for the White Wizard. Well it turned out, it was a very good choice at that time; it was her very lucky day in MU! She didn't even have a hard time searching for the White Wizard in the land of Noria; it was like the White Wizard and his minions were actually waiting for her to arrive! And there was nobody else in sight except for them. Elf Tarary didn't hesitate, she immediately aimed her Excellent Alba Bow at the White Wiz and started shooting him with her arrows! Just a few shots and the White Wiz was a goner!

That's the time when somebody, a Blade Knight, came. Elf Tarary speedily gathered the Jewel of Bless and Wizard's ring dropped by the White Wiz lest the Blade Knight gathers it for himself. After that, Elf Tarary went for his minions shooting them all dead. She got plenty of zen out of them.

And then, Elf Tarary noticed that the White Wizard of Lorencia hasn't been killed yet so she decided to hunt it down too. Using the magic of warping, she was able to reach the town of Lorencia immediately. And as luck would have it, she came across the White Wizard of Lorencia and his minions just a few meters from the bridge! She was already aiming at it with her Excellent Alba Bow when Tarary, through the magical instant message, told her to save it for him, so she did. However, Tarary couldn't immediately find their exact spot until another Elf showed up and took the White Wizard down. It would have been so much better if Elf Tarary just killed it instead.

Oh well, at least it was one exciting day for Elf Tarary in MU Continent!

Elf Tarary Alone in Devil Square

There was one time when Elf Tarary ventured on Devil Square in the hopes getting XP boost fast in order to level up. But as it turned out, she was the only one who turned up for the quest. Naturally she was first in the ranking! So here goes the proof.

Elf Tarary wants to be in Devil Square again she can't as of now. She still has to collect some Jewel of Chaos.

Elf Tarary Against the Phoenix of Darkness

One of the requirements for a 3rd wing is the drop from the Phoenix of Darkness. In her desire to get the 3rd wing, Elf Tarary ventured into the world of Icarus where she tried her Alba bow and arrow into killing the Phoenix of Darkness.

However, the Phoenix proved to be a tough enemy. Elf Tarary still has to find what she's looking for!

The New World of MU

Connection to the world of MU had been slow for some time. Elf Tarary wasn't able to make the necessary updates so she was not able to connect. But things have changed recently. Connection became fast so the needed updates were accomplished. With those thins done, Elf Tarary was able to enter the MU World again. She was surprised that a lot has changed since she's been in it.

New landscape were all around! New walls, new effects, and new worlds are to be found! My how things can change in such a short time.

Entrance to the world of MU has changed as well. even the figure sitting on the throne has changed; instead of a Dark Lord, in its place is an Magic Gladiator.

Warping from one continent to another, Elf Tarary found that new places have been discovered like the Loren Market, which is just between Arena and Lorencia. Then there's La Cleon, Swamp of Peace, and Vulcanus!

Elf Tarary can hardly wait to experience all of these!

MU Update Encounter

It's been a while since Elf Tarary was able to traverse the MU land. It's no wonder she encountered an update while trying to make her way into the magical land.

The update was kind of big so she wasn't able to succeed in her plan. Th update takes so slow that it would probably take one whole day for it to finish.

Well better luck next time for Elf Tarary.

A Mix of Cars and MU

What would MU continent be like if instead of animated and magical creatures, the elves, wizards, knights and Lords ride cars? I mean the modern boom zoom cars you see on the road these days. Well for sure things will never be same and perhaps the magical quality of the place would be gone.

Cars only fit in a modern society where people are in a constant rush. They make travelling from point A to point B fast and convenient. Getting late for appointments have become a rarity since cars were put on the road. As such convenient mechanisms, cars must be maintained at their tiptop shape and condition. There are lots of repair shops nowadays like RepairPal that would gladly help car owners like you keep your Cadillac Escalade, Ford Expedition, or Grand Cherokee Jeep performing superbly on the road.

Tarary Fun Time During Guild War

Tarary was able to explore a bit the other Saturday. It so happened that there was a Guild War that time. Since the guild he belonged to was not part of the War, he did not join in. However, that did not stop him from having fun! His choice of fun was the catapult inside the broken castle in the Valley. Some elves and knights died when they got hit by the bomb. Tarary threw several in the front yard and at the bridge. Then when he got tired, he went to the catapult in the valley. It was soooo much fun!

Just Another Day in Devil Square

A few days ago, Elf Tarary was able to make some tickets for Devil Square. It's been a while since she was able to participate in the war in that area, so with much anticipation she lined up in the Noria, near the priest to wait for the right time. It was just too bad because the other warriors were much too quick! All too sudden, Devil Square Level 6 was full! She flitted from server 1 to server 2. Unfortunately it was the same thing. She was able to make it in server 3!

It was just too bad that Elf Tarary didn't finish the Devil Square. She was booted out because she forgot to take more red potions! But anyway, it was fun while it lasted! Take a look at some of her photos.

Christmas Descends upon the MU Land!

Christmas is upon the MU land! All magical Elves, Wizards, Gladiators, and Mighty Knights are excited about this festive season. And they should be because of the great freebies and rewards that they can get through the Merry MU Christmas Promo.

Elf Tarary herself will try to avail of what she can of these rewards. Hopefully she'll be able to get at least one.

First off that MUtizens can get this Christmas is the Exp Boost. It has already started by the way on Nov. 30 6:00 a.m. and it will end on January 4, 2011 also at 6:00a.m. This will be very advantageous for Elf Tarary's leveling up.

In addition, all MUtizens who want to reset their stats can do so at more affordable rates. There's limited time for it however: Nov.25, 2010 to Dec. 2, 2010 and Dec. 14, 2010 to Dec 21, 2010.

This season is also the best time to load up

as much as MUtizens can. They can get one Jewel of Chaos, 1 Jewel of Guardian, or 1 Jewel of Harmony depending on the game time they avail of. And aside from that, there's also the Christmas Shopping Rewards. Take a look below and enjoy!

MU Continent November Treats

November is almost over. But, it's not yet too late to avail of the MU world's November Treats! Although some offers are already over, there are still great treats in store!

It's too bad about the Buy 1 Take 1 offer for some Web Store Items. The promo ended today November 18. Elf Tarary would have availed of the DS Tickets for a faster level up.

But good thing the Ribbon Drop is still on until December 7. Some of those Ribbon Drops are awesome. Elf Tarary got lots of jewels from those!

Anyway, for sure there will be more fantastic treats this December! For the meantime, here's a view of this November treats.

Elf Tarary is Back!

Elf Tarary is sooo back! Well, although she won't be able to hunt everyday, at least she won't be totally cut off from the MU Continent. And that's excellent news right?

She was able to spend some time hunting on Sunday and yesterday as well. She was with Tarary on Sunday and they fought the monsters in the Valley of Lorencia and in Tarkan 2. Time passed so quickly that day. But at least they were able to be together again, hunting side by side again.

Yesterday, Elf Tarary was in solo hunting mode. It was a lucky day for her because she from the green ribbon boxes and blue ribbon boxes she got from the Valley, she was able to get one Jewel of Chaos, Jewel of Bless, and a Jewel of Life. She was also able to get one Jewel of Bless from a blue ribbon box in Tarkan 1.

Lucky Elf Tarary! She is sooo back in the MU Continent.

Elf Tarary Updates a Bit

It's been a while since Elf Tarary made any adventure. She misses hunting in T1, T2, and Atlans. She's already forgotten when she was able to hunt for jewels and other precious items in the various MU continents. And most of all she misses hunting with her Tarary. They are both busy hunting for things in the real world. But hopefully, soon, they'll be able to go on adventures again and leveling up, together.

If anyone out there is still reading about our adventures, Elf Tarary hopes you don't get tired coming back and being a part of the tidbits of our MU lives.

White Wizard Win!

Yesterday was exciting because Elf Tarary defeated the White Wizard at Lorencia. She didn't mean to hunt for it actually. She was on her way to the Valley then along the plains was the White Wizard corps. There were no other people nearby, just her. So she took the chance. A chance she ddin't regret because she defeated the White Wizard! She got a new Wizard Ring and a Jewel of Bless. Too bad there's no screenshot to show for it...Maybe next time. Elf Tarary wished she could share that victorious moment with Tarary but, that's just wishful thinking now...

Elf Tarary's Latest MUdventures

What has Elf Tarary been up to lately? Well, she has been busy leveling up. Every Sunday is a treat because she gets to spend much time (spell that: 4 - 5 hours) hunting monsters in the different maps. But, as mentioned before, her favorite map lately is Tarkan2 because the exp is much higher than in other maps, thus, leveling up is faster. Another treat is, she gets to spend time with Tarary...(it's only been for the past two Sundays). After quite a while they get to be together again even if it's only in this world, a world that seems to be their own and a world where possibilities seem endless...

Another thing that thrills Elf Tarary so much these days is the "Heart of Love" drop! Yes, it's the love month already so, Mobius brings back the "Heart of Love". It's only found in LT7. So, aside from Tarkan 2, LT7 has become another favorite. So, far the only great drop she got from the Hearts are Jewels of Chaos, which is good because she can create DS tickets again. And you know, DS means faster level up. Elf Tarary has to reach 380 soon!

Elf Tarary Battling It Out Alone

It has been a while since this blog got updated. I wonder if anyone is still reading this. Well, Elf Tarary has been busy. There has been a lot of changes in her life. She has moved from her hometown and is now living in the urban jungle. So far, she has getting the hang of things in this jungle. Well, she must. She’s an elf isn’t she? I’ve read somewhere that elves have highly adaptive powers added to their natural charm and charisma . Do you agree with me? If there are MUtizens reading this blog.

Anyway, since moving to the urban jungle Elf Tarary hasn’t had much chance of playing. No more unlimited internet connection. The nearest Internet hub is at the huge tower just across the bridge. It’s near enough alright but, using their connection costs so much zen! But during this weekend, Elf Tarary indulged herself. She spent over three hours battling evil foes at Tarkan 2, Valley of Loren, and at Devil Square. She was not able to level up, but she’s getting there. At the Devil Square she ranked 4th which made it really enjoyable. Elf Tarary recaptured the enjoyment and “magic” of being in that world again. It really has been a while.

Though things are different now, though Tarary is no longer at her side, Elf Tarary is holding up her own in the midst of these evil monsters and foes. He made her strong and that is something she’s thankful for. Maybe, someday soon, Tarary and Elf Tarary will fight battles again side by side, even if it is only in this world... But for now, they do their battles alone...

MU Launch New RANCE Server

MU has launched a new server - RANCE.

We don't know what awaits us MU players. Most of us have become used to the subscribed game. Now suddenly mobius unveils a server that is free to play...

It's been a while since I made a post here. But that doesn't I stopped playing. Been busy getting elf tarary to level up. It's really becoming a big effort to get her to level up now that she's way past level 350.

Anyway, the latest additon to her vault is the AVB. Tarary got it for 30 Bless I think and he was the one to upgrade it to +7. He really didn't rest until he could get one for me because I told him I envy others who were using Bows like it. So now I have two bows - the Alba and the AVB.

Just an Update

Well, hi! to anyone reading this blog, I apologize that there hasn't been much update. It's been a while since I last posted anything here. Been kind of busy with Real Life^_^.

Anyway, it's summer time and MU offers gold medals for players. Can't say that I've been that lucky with the gold medals. If my memory serves me right, the gold medal drops only began the other week. Can't say I've been that lucky with the drops from the medals because so far I only got like 5 jewels from them. I'll try to hunt more this week, maybe I'll be luckier this time. ^_^

Successful Ups!

Yes, guess what? My Alba bow now has additional damage. Last week I found one jewel of life in Tarkan2 and Tarary tried to upgrade my bow, but he told me it failed T_T. Anyway last week, that was Friday I found one JOL again. Unfortunately, Tarary was offline already so I could not ask him what will happen if the upgrade failed again. I just wanted to try upgrading the bow so i took the chance. I went to the safe zone in the Lost Tower 1. Deep breath and i dropped the jewel on the Alba, luckily it was a success! So, i had additonal +4 option. Then, on Monday I again found 1 JOL. Tried upgrading again and success again, so now my Alba has +8 additional damage. Tarary said it's gonna be fastkill from now on^_^.
