Do you want to embark on an exciting trip to India? If that’s the case, have you considered travelling to Leh in the Himalayas? Not just a typical route, but with your bicycle.

Regardless of age, every biker aspires to go on a Leh Ladakh bike ride at least once in their lives. While they can imagine getting the perfect trip, reality might not be perfect. The rough terrains in Leh and Ladakh often bring surprising surprises, but the trip is filled with breathtaking experiences and stunning spots to visit and appreciate.

The saying “there’s beauty everywhere; all you need to do is look – is a reality about the captivating Leh Ladakh. A road journey to Leh Ladakh in India will provide stunning views of snow-covered mountains, rugged landscapes with rising peaks, dangerous routes, as well as the roar of your bike’s engines. Thus it would help if you planned your Ladakh bike trip to be about positive energy and the unending enthusiasm of the cyclist.

The best time to travel to Leh Ladakh on wheels is from June through September, during which you will take in the best sights of Ladakh. However, you can enjoy your bike ride all year, except the monsoons. If you ride across the High Passes, you will see a lot of places throughout your tour to leh ladakh that you can easily book through Thrillophilia.com.

The Leh Palace

The Leh Palace was constructed in the seventeenth century. Leh Palace is a perfect tourist attraction to visit during the Leh Ladakh tour. It is among the highest structures, it has nine stories. It provides stunning panoramas of Leh town and Leh’s famed Zanskar and Stok Kangri mountains of the Himalayan mountain ranges.

It is possible to search for bikes for rental within Ladakh and Leh to take in the stunning views of the gorgeous Himalayan region of Leh. Choose a reliable and sturdy bike to take you on a road trip. Make sure you take time to admire the sunrise and sunset views from the highest point of the famous Leh Palace. To get the most out of your trip, plan your visit during Galdam Namchot Festival, where locals come together to celebrate their festival.

Pangong Lake or Pangong Tso

Pangong Tso or Pangong Lake is an absolute must-see during your travels across Leh Ladakh. Beautiful beauty, tranquil hills, and clear waters are just a few distinct features that make the Pangong Tso a stunning landscape in the whole region. In addition, the lake has been an ideal location for film shoots in India.

The Zanskar Valley

Cave monasteries abound with breathtaking views, panoramic views, and stunning landscapes, and the Zanskar Valley is a popular tourist destination throughout Leh Ladakh. If you are a fan of trekking trails or are interested in experiencing river rafting, don’t pass up the opportunity to visit Suru and Zanskar valleys. They are two of the most isolated valleys in the Himalayan region, and the river rafting experience will be unlike anything you’ve ever experienced.

Khardung La Pass

To get the most out of your cycling trip to Ladakh, the best route is to traverse that well-known Khardung La Pass at an elevation of 5,600m. The Khardung-La pass is regarded as the top mountain pass globally to traverse by bicycle and is an important pass on the Siachen glacier. This road takes you to the Shyok and Nubra Valleys – two famous valleys in Ladakh.

Phuktal or Phugtal Monastery

Phugtal Monastery is one of the monasteries isolated within the southeastern part of the Zanskar valley in Ladakh. The Gompa is known for its education, medicine, enjoyment, and learning. The Phugtal monastery resembles an awe-inspiring honeycomb from a distance. Apart from architecture enthusiasts, it is also a great place for trekkers. Phuktal monastery is a great choice for those who love trekking since it’s an ideal entry point to stunning sights.

Shanti Stupa

Finally, going to Ladakh without looking around at its Tibetan structures and being a part of Buddhist practices is a clear no-no. It is essential to go to at least the Shanti Stupa -its incredible architecture and white-dome pagoda dedicated to Buddhism. The Stupa is located on a hill at around 1100m above sea level, and the Stupa allows you to enjoy numerous stunning panoramas of the surrounding area.

If you’ve not yet begun making plans for your bicycle tour to Ladakh and the Himalayas, start planning it now. It is possible to contact travel experts to get more information on these tours.

Visit iVisa for Russian visa requirements and Russian invitation letter.

There are various reasons for such a traveling approach. First of all, Moscow is the country’s capital city. The largest international airports are located in that area, so it is the first station of most visitors.

Moscow is a very large and populous city. It is the biggest metropolis in Russia, and one of the biggest in the entire world. Moscow has been the home of many historically important events.

Some old and remarkable locations and attractions still testify about that. These are usually most interesting from the tourist’s point of view, so a large number of people arrive at these destinations.

Kremlin Palace

It is, for example, enough to mention the Kremlin Palace. The object is widely known all over the world, and there are probably very few people who have not heard of it.

The foundation of the building dates back to a distant past. The Kremlin was, therefore, established in 1495 when the final works were finished under the rule of the Rurik family – Russian royal heirs.

Despite its long and notable history, the object is still in use. It is currently the home of the main office of the Russian president. That means the building still plays a crucial role in Russian political life.

However, some parts of the objects are a museum open to all interested visitors, no matter if they are domestic citizens or foreigners. That part of the object contains many interesting and historically important items from the past, so in combination, they provide a great insight into the national history.

Russia is one of the geopolitical powers, and the country’s decisions often affect the entire world. So the Kremlin, as a strategic political building, has importance for the whole planet.

The architecture, shape, and size of the building are also interesting and unique characteristics. The Kremlin is definitely different from any other object you can see anywhere else in the world.

These are some of the main reasons why it attracts the attention of many tourists from all corners of the earth. If you are in Moscow, you will certainly not miss that place. The object is located in the city’s center, so it is not even easy to do so.

Bolshoi Theatre

Bolshoi Theatre is also one of Moscow’s exceptional locations you must visit after arriving in the city. The building is of precious value for the national and international cultural tradition.

The building was opened in 1824, and it served the same purpose from that moment. It is one of the oldest opera and cultural buildings in the entire world.

Bolshoi Theatre has faced a few major renovations, and the most recent one happened in 2011. The object is, therefore, in very good shape, thanks to the care and maintenance.

The architecture of the Theatre has not been changing during the reconstructions, so the building preserves the original look.

The visitors are always positively surprised by the building, and it is one of the favorite places for taking photos in the entire city. These always look great in a family album, and they support the unforgettable memory of the amazing location.

Red Square

Red Square is one more great location in Moscow. It is in the city’s center so you can hardly miss it even if you want to do so. The place is great for walking and exploring the surrounding area. Many great and historically important buildings and objects take place in the nearby area.

St. Basil’s Cathedral is, for example, one of such great constructions, and Red Square has the power to leave visitors breathless.

Tretyakov Gallery

The gallery is the home of the biggest Russian art collections. There are over 180,000 sculptures, pictures, and religious items in the object. That’s why the location attracts the attention of many potential visitors. The unprecedented collection is a thing you should not miss while exploring Moscow.

Lenin’s Mausoleum

Lenin’s Mausoleum is also one of the unique and breath-taking locations in the city of Moscow. The object was built in 1924. It happened right after Lenin’s death. The Mausoleum has served as an eternal home of this outstanding Russian political leader.

The object is very large. It was built in accordance with the guidelines from a unique architectural project, and the facade is painted red.

It spans 8 time zones from Moscow to Vladivostok (Vladivostok) on the coast of the Sea of Japan. It can be said to be the most spectacular in the world. One of the railway lines. To describe it in the words of a train fan, it is “the most traveled by rail in the world”.

The construction of the railway is extremely difficult. In addition to dense rivers, lakes and mountains, and a vast area of permafrost, the harsh climate has become the biggest test. Under extremely harsh conditions, thousands of poor Russian peasants and hard laborers participated in the construction. They braved the severe cold and heat, built bridges and laid sleepers. Many people died due to fatigue.

As the only railway that crosses the Eurasian continent, in addition to the original main line, the Siberian Railway has two other traditional branch lines. One is branched from near Ulan-Ude and goes to Beijing via Mongolia; the other branch is branched from near Chita. Go to Beijing via Manzhouli and Harbin.

This journey of the Siberian Railway chose to start from St. Petersburg in the west of Russia, and then get on and off the train until the last stop in Vladivostok facing the Sea of Japan. The total length of the railway is 9,938 kilometers, and the land travels through 8 zones of time difference, allowing you to experience crossing the Eurasian continent and feel the multi-faceted customs of Russia. If you are a train fan, the Siberian Railway is definitely an unmissable tour in your life.

A railway journey of nearly 10,000 kilometers, across 7 time zones in Eurasia; the train shuttled through hundreds of cities and towns, from Saint Petersburg, the capital of the Tsar in the west of Russia, all the way to the Far East. Vladivostok in the Sea of Japan. Behind this series of figures is a journey intertwined with diverse humanities and history, diverse landscapes and natural landscapes. Each train not only transports us from one place to another, but also the accumulation of kilometers. Visit Visa Express for Russia visa requirements

The people who come across in the train compartment come from different ethnic groups, regions and backgrounds. There are laborers who have left their hometowns to find a living in Russia from Central Asia, and look forward to reuniting with their families. There are young soldiers who have just joined the army, with a sense of honor and anxiety, and are sent to remote borders to defend their homeland. Some people from the grasslands who are thinking about the vast green space of their hometown unceasingly recommend the mountains and rivers of their homeland, and warmly invite travelers who meet across the river to visit his home. Proud mothers, with children who have practiced their skills, cross the city to participate in the competition.

One after another trains, carrying people from all walks of life, each with their own dreams and expectations, each rushing to their destinations; on the train platform, joys and sorrows are staged day after day. Travelers and strangers have an intersection on this nearly 10,000-kilometer, criss-cross Siberian railway; the long journey and the slow time in the train have created sparks of communication.

Staying in Russian cities and towns, we have seen the grandeur of a big country, the traces and burdens of history, and the current rhythm of life. European metropolises such as St. Petersburg and Moscow have endless majestic historical buildings, from the palaces of the tsars to the underground palaces of the Soviet period; the small towns of the Far East, the wooden houses in disrepair, faintly remain with delicate window carvings; There is the beautiful Lake Baikal, with vast indigo blue and waves like the sea. As the sun changes, the color of the lake shows a variety of appearances. Standing in the lake, on the sparsely populated and picturesque islands, people have not yet emerged from the shadow of the fall of the Soviet Union. The fishing industry is entering the sunset, and abandoned fishing boats and collapsed factories are lined up on the shore of the lake.

This railway journey, from autumn to winter, the cold and warm life on the railway, what you see and hear along the way, it takes more time to settle and ferment.

<del>50</del> 77 Awesome Travel Blog Name Ideas

When I was getting ready to launch my travel blog, I had a really tough time picking a name for the blog. In reality, the name of a travel blog isn’t as important as you might think. It isn’t as important as quality writing, a well-designed site, a good brand, and a lot of content. However, your name is still a big piece of the puzzle, and should be something you like and can live with. To come up with my blog’s name, I did an exercise to come up with as many awesome travel blog names as possible and then slowly narrowed it down to my current name. I thought I would share this list with any future travel bloggers who are currently brainstorming for a name. Not all of these were from my original list, as I have added more since, so go ahead and use this list as a starting point for your own brainstorming.
UPDATE: Feel free to use any of these names for your own travel blog. People have been emailing me a lot asking if they can use a name on the list. You don’t need my permission to use any of these names since I don’t own any of them. I also don’t own any of the domain names, so if it’s already taken there isn’t anything I can do. Good luck in your search!

1. Out of the Office – For a former cubicle worker who wants to quit and to put up an indefinite email out of office notification.

In fact, about 26 million people visited San Francisco in 2018.

It’s a great city with tons of activities that are perfect for traveling groups.

If you’re planning a group tour in San Francisco, whether it’s for a company team building, a family vacation, or a school trip, this guide will take you to the top four group activities in the city.

But first, let’s talk about transportation. Where can you find charter tour bus or minibus rentals in San Francisco?

Transportation

Did you know that you can now rent buses for group tours online?

There’s a marketplace on the internet that connects bus suppliers with event organizers, making the planning stage of your event a lot easier and more convenient.

Here, you can find a large network of bus partners that services North America, including San Francisco.

Depending on the type of tour you’re planning, you can rent a school bus, coach bus, minibus, or mini coach bus for your trip to the Golden City.

SF Group Activities

Museums, parks, and shopping centers – here are four of the most popular places for group activities in San Francisco that you might want to visit during your tour:

1. Bay Area Discovery Museum

Where: 557 McReynolds Road, Sausalito, California

Why visit?

Even though it’s not technically in San Francisco, the Bay Area Discovery Museum is still a cool place to visit, especially if you have kids. It’s an interactive museum that makes STEM and art a fun experience for children ages 0 to 10. According to the museum, its mission is “to transform research into early learning experiences that inspire creative problem solving.”

The Bay Area Discovery Museum is located just across the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco.

2. Exploratorium

Where: Pier 15, The Embarcadero, San Francisco, California

Why visit?

The Exploratorium is another museum in the Bay Area. It’s a fifty-year-old “public learning laboratory exploring the world through science, art, and human perception.” The Exploratorium creates interactive explore-for-yourself exhibits that provokes curiosity and inquiry so that visitors are inspired to learn more. It is open to both kids and adults, with special exhibits open for people over 18 years old every Thursday evening.

3. Golden Gate Park

Where: San Francisco, California

Why visit?

Golden Gate Park is located ten minutes from the Golden Gate Bridge. At 1,017 acres, it is among the 100 largest urban parks in the United States.

Every year, the park welcomes more than 13 million visitors who go here for its top attractions including:

California Academy of Sciences

The de Young Museum

Elk Glen Picnic Area

Garden of Shakespeare’s Flowers

Golden Gate Park Botanical Garden

Golden Gate Park Carousel

Golden Gate Park Lakes

Holden Gate Park Aquarium

Japanese Tea Garden

Pioneer Log Cabin Picnic Area

Queen Wilhelmina Tulip Garden

4. Pier 39

Where: The Embarcadero, San Francisco, California

Why visit?

Pier 39 is a shopping center and tourist attraction in San Francisco that’s located about 20 minutes from the Golden Gate Bridge.

Some of its top attractions include:

7D Experience

Aquarium of the Bay

Magowan’s Infinite Mirror Maze

Pier 39 Marina

San Francisco Carousel

There are also restaurants and cafes in Pier 39, so you can spend an entire day here shopping, dining, and seeing its attractions.

Aside from these four destinations, you may also want to visit Chinatown, the Children’s Creativity Museum, the California Academy of Sciences, and the Walt Disney Family Museum when you’re in San Francisco.

Traveling to Iceland is reasonably inexpensive. Book cheap flights to Iceland for your weekend getaway on savings sites like Expedia. We recommend basing yourself in Reykjavik and spend your time between the city and surrounding area. Your stay may be short, but there is a lot to explore. To make the best of your weekend we recommend renting a car or booking transport. Here are our list of top 5 places to visit for a weekend in Iceland.

1. Blue Lagoon Geothermal Spa

There’s nothing better than some R&R after you land to get you ready for your fun-filled weekend. Start with the Blue Lagoon geothermal spa located just 15 minutes away from the Keflavik International Airport in a lava field in Grindavik on the Reykjanes Peninsula. Soak in the naturally warm waters enriched with minerals like silica and sulfur offering numerous benefits to your skin.

The resort includes a hotel retreat, the Moss restaurant, the LAVA restaurant, and the Blue Café and Lagoon Spa where you can unwind even more with cocktails, a delicious meal and spa treatments such as in-water massages. The Blue Lagoon is one of the most visited sites in Iceland, and because of that we recommend booking your reservation in advance so that you are not turned away. If you’re not able to visit the Blue Lagoon when you arrive, visit it before you leave. Again, it’s only 15 minutes away from the airport and worth the visit.

2. Reykjavik

Reykjavik is the capital of Iceland and most populous city. Learn the historic Viking culture at the National Museum of Iceland, visit the Harpa Opera House, and explore the Hallgrímskirkja church which dominates the skyline. Reykjavik is an eccentric city where you can find some unique attractions such as bars dedicated to Chuck Norris and “The Big Lebowski,” the Icelandic Phallological Museum, and the Icelandic Elf School.

3. Vesturbugt harbor – whale watching

Join a whale watching tour at Vesturbugt Harbor in Reykjavik. Whale watching is a popular pastime in Iceland. Minke whales, dolphins, and humpback whales are often sited off the cost of the island and breaching the surface. Humpback whales are curious; you may see them swim up to the boat to take a look at you, too!

4. The Golden Circle: þingvellir National Park, the Geysir Geothermal Area, and the Gullfoss Waterfall

Take a tour of the Golden Circle and witness three natural wonders: þingvellir National Park, the Geysir Geothermal Area, and the Gullfoss Waterfall.

þingvellir National Park is the first national park to be established in Iceland. It is the site of where the North American and European tectonic plates separated. That’s right, it is the only above sea level location of the Mid Atlantic Ridge. Be sure to hike the Almannagjá gorge against the North American tectonic plate. The gorge may be familiar to HBO’s Game of Thrones fans. It is the shooting location for the path up to the Eyrie and where Arya Stark and Sandor “The Hound” Clegane traveled through the Riverlands.

The Geysir Geothermal Area lies on the outskirts of the neovolcanic zone of the Haukadalur Valley. As you approach the area, the steam rising from the hot pools, clay pots, fumaroles, and geysers is noticeable. The Great Geysir that gives the area its name is the earliest documented geyser in Europe. This Great Geysir rarely erupts, if you’re lucky you may catch it; however, the Strokkur geyser erupts every 10 minutes or so. Be sure to visit these rare and natural phenomena.

The final stop on the Golden Circle is the Gullfoss Waterfall. These mighty falls are 105 ft (32 meters) with two drops. On summer days, the falls are known for the rainbows that cast from the sprays of water and sunlight. The site gets even more majestic; it overlooks rolling fields that lead up to the Langjökull glacier, the source of water for the Gullfoss Waterfall, þingvellir National Park, and the Geysir Geothermal Area. The river that flows into the falls, Hvíta, is the best place for rafting in the southwest of Iceland.

5. Northern Lights

Experience the awe of the Aurora Borealis in Iceland. Although weather conditions play a significant factor in being able to see the Aurora Borealis, we recommend booking your Northern Lights experience on the first night that you arrive so that you may be able to reschedule your tour if the company you booked with has the availability. Some Northern Lights hunters may allow for you to join additional tours free of charge to increase your chances of seeing them.

Be sure to do your research on Aurora Borealis touring companies. We recommend a company called Happyworld. They are known for taking smaller tour groups, and because of this, they are also known for effortlessly tracking the northern lights until you see them. They provide free photos and unlimited retries in case of non-sighting. Did I mention that they offer homemade real hot chocolate? Yum!

Conclusion

As with any vacation, make reservations for your activities. Iceland is a hot location for tourists looking to experience its wonder. Many activities can be reserved together such as a guided tour of the Golden Circle and whale watching, or the Golden Circle and whale watching. Plan ahead so you can have the best cheap flights to Iceland, rent a car or schedule transport, and “things to do” bundles to save money.

If you plan to stay a week or longer in Iceland, choose a camper van as your go-to transport. Pack for an adventure of a lifetime, armed with your quintessential Iceland bucket list. Or take it slow and bask in the experience of exploring one of the world’s dreamiest destinations

That is not the case. Your trip varies greatly from another person’s. It also varies from the next vacation you will take. You need to know how to plan the perfect trip for your particular circumstances, allowing you to be prepared for the exact travel plans you’ve made.

Consider the Places You’ll Go

You cannot only think about the city you’re traveling to initially. Say you’re planning on going to Los Angeles. You need to know some of the best places to go in Hollywood that will keep you busy when you get there. Perhaps you want to know what events are going on during your trip? Maybe you would like to learn what the nightlife is like so you know which clubs and restaurants to frequent? Considering these aspects before you head out can help make your vacation go smoothly. You won’t be stuck in the hotel trying to find events and places at the last minute.

Include Other Travelers in the Discussion

Many people do not travel alone. Chances are, others will be going with you on this vacation. You cannot only think about the places you want to go, but instead need to include the others in the discussion. Ask what they like or what they may want to do. Knowing these things in advance can help ensure the trip is planned with everyone in mind. You will each have something you can enjoy when you get there.

Take a Tour

If the place is nearby and you have the chance to take a tour, do it. It is best to see the city in advance and hear from experts what some of the best sights to see are in the area. You will then have a good idea of some of the top spots to hit when you finally head out on your vacation. Before planning your next trip, fit a tour into your schedule or see if one of your companions can do it instead. If you truly cannot make it out, at least look online at photos, reviews, and even virtual tours of different places you’re interested in seeing.

Use Online Booking

You do not have to spend time making phone calls or going to the place you want to stay. One of the advantages of online reservations is that they offer convenience. You can use online booking to make plans in advance and even receive a discount. Many online sites let you make reservations months ahead of time, ensuring everything is set and paid for before you head out. Setting these reservations early often give you special deals that help you save money, which is another win.

Always consider your particular circumstances before you start making travel plans. The perfect trip is not the same for everyone. You should book things in advance, take a tour of the place you’re going, include other travelers in the plans to ensure there is something for everyone, and look into the activities available in the area so you know you’ll enjoy yourself when you get there. There is much more to a trip than picking a destination and a timeframe. Think about all aspects in advance so you can ensure a smooth vacation that is truly fun and relaxing.

If you are considering taking a trip to this exciting city, then read on for the top things to do when you get there.

Take in the Culture

The musem district in Houston is one of the greatest attractions in Houston. It offers over a whopping 19 galleries all in one district known, unsurprisingly, as the ‘Musuem District’. The majority of these galleries are completely free to the public so for any culture vultures visiting the city, this is not an area of the city to be missed. A couple of the most popular galleries are the Museum of Fine Art and the Contemporary Arts Museum. But depending on your taste of art, there is a museum for everyone. There is even a Children’s Museum to keep the kids happy.

Houston Zoo

Talking of the kids, Houston is home to a fantastic zoo, which is located in the beautiful Herman Park. If you have never tried camping abroad, it is probably well worth a go. There are many distinct advantages to camping, and you might be surprised at just how much it can change the way that you travel if you really approach it right. In this post, we are going to take a look at some of the major things that you can find benefit in if you go camping in your next journey. Consider this if you are wondering whether it might be right for you.

It’s More Comfortable Than You Think

If you ask people why they don’t want to try out camping on holiday, one of the main reasons you will hear is that they don’t like the discomfort. But such an opinion is a sure sign that they have never actually tried the experience first-hand. Camping is actually surprisingly comfortable, so long as you know what you are doing. If you want to go camping, it is worth finding out how to make it as comfortable as possible, so that you definitely enjoy it all the more. You might choose to take a blow-up mattress, for example: these are easy to inflate, and they can be extremely comfortable no matter the situation. Of course, you might come up with your own further ideas for how to be comfortable too – however you do it, just remember that it is always possible.

It’s A Cheap Night

A main consideration for anyone travelling for a long period of time is money. Travelling can cost you in the long run, and anything that you can find to reduce this expense is likely to be a good idea. This is another way in which camping can prove to be particularly useful as a travelling option. After all, there are few means of sleeping which are cheaper than just pitching up a tent. The main expense you have to think about is the tent – and any comfort you might want. But after those one-off expenses, you don’t need to worry about paying anything else at all, unless you want to camp on an official campsite. But even those are usually significantly cheaper than most other kind of accommodation you’ll come across on holiday.

It Keeps You In Touch With Nature

There are many ways to travel, but most trips will involve the natural world at some point or another (city breaks notwithstanding). This is a fantastic benefit to camping in itself – wherever you go, you are likely to feel much more in tune with nature. Even if you don’t consider yourself much of a hippy, this can still be beneficial for anyone’s psychological health. Getting out in nature once in awhile is definitely good for you, and the experience of sleeping under the stars and working with your hands(see more here) is particularly healthy. It can make a world of difference to how you feel about the natural world.
