Principle verses proving the preceding rapture happens on the SAME DAY AS God’s wrath: Luk 17:26-32 NASB  “And just as it happened in the days of Noah, so will it also be in the days of the Son of Man:  (27)  people were eating, they were drinking, they were marrying, and they were being given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all.  (28)  “It was the same as happened in the days of Lot: they were eating, they were drinking, they were buying, they were selling, they were planting, and they were building;  (29)  but on the day that Lot left Sodom, it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all.  (30)  “It will be just the same on the day that the Son of Man is revealed.  (31)  “On that day, the one who will be on the housetop, with his goods in the house, must not go down to take them out; and likewise the one in the field must not turn back.  (32)  “Remember Lot’s wife.

Woe for the Day of the Lord: Amo 5:18-20 NASB  Woe to you who are longing for the day of the LORD, For what purpose will the day of the LORD be to you? It will be darkness and not light;  (19)  As when a man flees from a lion And a bear confronts him, Or he goes home, leans with his hand against the wall, And a snake bites him.  (20)  Will the day of the LORD not be darkness instead of light, Even gloom with no brightness in it?

RIGHT BEFORE THE DAY OF THE LORD:

1. THE VALLEY OF ARMAGEDDON FILLED WITH THE ARMIES OF THE NATIONS:  The Lord will enter into judgment with them there On behalf of His people and His inheritance, Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations; and they have divided up His land. Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision. (Joe 3:2,14)
2. IRAN, SUDAN, LIBYA, TURKEY, AND RUSSIA LEAD THE WAR AGAINST ISRAEL: Like a storm cloud they will surround the land and people of Israel. “Persia, Cush, and Put with them, all of them with buckler and helmet;  Gomer with all its troops; Beth-togarmah from the remote parts of the north with all its troops—many peoples with you.” “You will come from your place out of the remote parts of the north, you and many peoples with you, all of them riding horses, a large assembly and a mighty army;  and you will come up against My people Israel like a cloud to cover the land. It shall come about in the last days that I will bring you against My land, so that the nations may know Me when I show Myself holy through you before their eyes, Gog.”  (Eze 38:5-6, 9, 15, 16)
3. A SIEGE: Israel controls Jerusalem until the Day of the Lord comes. Jerusalem and Judah will then be in siege by all the nations of the world; Jerusalem will be a heavy stone for all the peoples; all who lift it will injure themselves severely. And all the nations of the earth will be gathered against it. “For the days will come upon you when your enemies will put up a barricade against you, and surround you and hem you in on every side.” “But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then recognize that her desolation is near.  “Then those who are in Judea must flee to the mountains, and those who are inside the city must leave, and those who are in the country must not enter the city;  because these are days of punishment, so that all things which have been written will be fulfilled. “Woe to those women who are pregnant, and to those who are nursing babies in those days; for there will be great distress upon the land, and wrath to this people;  and they will fall by the edge of the sword, and will be led captive into all the nations; and Jerusalem will be trampled underfoot by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.” (Zec 12:2, 3; Luk 19:43; Luk 21:20-24)
4. GREAT FAMINE HITS ISRAEL: Surrounding nations have destroyed Israel’s supply of food and the surrounding land.  It has made the Lord’s vine a waste And His fig tree a stump. It has stripped them bare and hurled them away; Their branches have become white.  The grain offering and the drink offering have been cut off from the house of the LORD. The priests mourn, The ministers of the LORD.  The field is ruined, The land mourns; For the grain is ruined, The new wine has dried up, Fresh oil has failed.The seeds have dried up and the storehouses have become desolate. The grain silos are ruined because the grain has dried up. The animals have groaned! The herds of cattle have wandered aimlessly because there is no pasture for them; Even the flocks of sheep have suffered. Fire has devoured the pastures of the wilderness, and the flame has burned up all the trees of the field. (Joe 1:6-10, 17-20)
5. A CALL TO REPENTANCE: Priests and ministers of the altar are called to spend the night in sackcloth, to consecrate a fast, and to proclaim a solemn assembly. They are summoned to gather the elders of Israel and all the inhabitants of the land to the house of the LORD God, And cry out to the LORD. (Joe 1:13,14)

THE DAY OF THE LORD (IS NOT AN ACTUAL SINGLE DAY BECAUSE IT TAKES TIME FOR THE 6TH TRUMPET AND FOR THE ARMIES TO COMPLETE MOVING INTO PLACE IN THE VALLEY OF MEGGIDO):

1. THE DAY WILL COME UPON THE WORLD UNEXPECTEDLY: It comes just like a thief in the night.  While they are saying, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction will come upon them like labor pains upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. (1Th 5:2, 3)
2. JUDAH JOINS THE FIGHT TO PROTECT JERUSALEM: Judah also will fight at Jerusalem (Zec 14:14)
3. JERUSALEM IS ATTACKED BY ALL NATIONS:  All the nations will be gathered against Jerusalem to battle, and the city will be taken, the houses plundered, the women raped, and half of the city exiled, but the other half of the people will not be eliminated from the city. They will level you to the ground, and throw down your children within you, and they will not leave in you one stone upon another. (Zec 14:2; Luk 19:44)
4. 2/3rds OF JEWS SLAUGHTERED:  That two parts of the Jewish people in all the land will be cut off and die; But a third of Jews will be left in it.“And I will bring the third part through the fire, Refine them as silver is refined, And test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, And I will answer them; I will say, ‘They are My people,’ And they will say, ‘The LORD is my God.’” (Zec 13:8-9)
5. (LAMENTATION: Read the book of Lamentation as a prophetic parallel of what is to come on the Day of the Lord. “You called as on the day of an appointed feast My terrors on every side; And there was no one who survived or escaped On the day of the LORD’S anger. As for those whom I brought forth healthy and whom I raised, My enemy annihilated them.” (Lam 2:22))
6. A REMNANT OF ISRAEL WILL REPENT AND TURN TO JESUS CHRIST: Israel will not see Jesus until they say, “BLESSED IS THE ONE WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD!” (Mat 23:39) So under these circumstances Judah and Jerusalem repent for rejecting Jesus as their Messiah.
7. LUMINARIES ARE DISRUPTED: On that day there will be no light; the luminaries will die out.  For it will be a unique day which is known to the LORD, neither day nor night, but it will come about that at the time of evening there will be light. A day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and thick darkness. The Lord will make the sun go down at noon, And make the earth dark in broad daylight.  For the stars of heaven and their constellations Will not flash their light; The sun will be dark when it rises And the moon will not shed its light. That day is a day of anger, A day of trouble and distress, A day of destruction and desolation, A day of darkness and gloom, A day of clouds and thick darkness. THE SUN WILL BE DARKENED, AND THE MOON WILL NOT GIVE ITS LIGHT, AND THE STARS WILL FALL from the sky. (Zec 14:6-7; Joe 2:2; Joe 315; Amo 8:9; Isa 13:10;  Zep 1:15; Mat 24:29)
8. THE SIGN OF THE SON OF MAN, THE LORD, COMING IN THE SKY: Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the SON OF MAN COMING ON THE CLOUDS OF THE SKY with power and great glory. The Lord rides on a white horse, and He who sat on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and wages war.  His eyes are a flame of fire, and on His head are many crowns; and He has a name written on Him which no one knows except Himself. He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies which are in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, were following Him on white horses. From the Lord’s mouth comes a sharp sword, so that with it He may strike down the nations, and He will rule them with a rod of iron; and He treads the wine press of the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty.  And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written: “KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.”  (Mat 24:30; Rev 19:11-16)
9. ISRAEL THEN SEES JESUS IN THE SKY: The Spirit of grace and of pleading will fall on Judah and Jerusalem so that they will look at Jesus whom they pierced; and they will mourn for Him, like one mourning for an only son, and they will weep bitterly over Him like the bitter weeping over a firstborn. “On that day the mourning in Jerusalem will be great, like the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the plain of Megiddo.  “The land will mourn, every family by itself; the family of the house of David by itself and their wives by themselves; the family of the house of Nathan by itself and their wives by themselves; the family of the house of Levi by itself and their wives by themselves; the family of the Shimeites by itself and their wives by themselves; all the families that are left, every family by itself, and their wives by themselves. (Zec 12:10-14)
10. A STORM AND CLOUDS ARE BELOW HIM: In the gale and the storm is His way, And clouds are the dust beneath His feet. (Nah 1:3)
11. THE SPENDOR OF THE LORD IS SEEN: God comes from Teman, And the Holy One from Mount Paran. Selah His splendor covers the heavens, And the earth is full of His praise.  His radiance is like the sunlight; He has rays flashing from His hand, And the hiding of His might is there.(Hab 3:3-4)
12. THE LORD ROARS: The LORD roars from Zion and utters His voice from Jerusalem. (Joe 3:16)
13. THE LORD’S QUAKE: The heavens and the earth quake.  Mountains quake because of Him, And the hills come apart; Indeed the earth is upheaved by His presence, The world and all the inhabitants in it.  Who can stand before His indignation? Who can endure the burning of His anger? His wrath gushes forth like fire, And the rocks are broken up by Him. The mountains saw You and quaked; The downpour of waters swept by. The deep raised its voice, It lifted high its hands.  The Lord will make the heavens tremble, And the earth will be shaken from its place At the fury of the LORD of armies In the day of His burning anger. The powers of the heavens will be shaken. (Joe 3:16; Nah 1:5,6; Hab 3:10; Isa 13:13; Mat 24:29)
14. THE RESURRECTION: The Lord will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. He will send forth His angels with A GREAT TRUMPET BLAST, and THEY WILL GATHER TOGETHER His elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other. (1 Thess 4:15,16; Mat 24:31)
15. THE RAPTURE OF THE CHURCH: we who are alive, who remain, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord. (1 Thess 4:17) The Church is raptured because we are not appointed unto wrath which is immediately to follow (1Th 5:9)
16. THOSE WHO FEAR WILL REJOICE: But for you who fear My name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings; and you will go forth and frolic like calves from the stall.  “And you will crush the wicked underfoot, for they will be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day that I am preparing,” says the LORD of armies.(Mal 4:2-3)
17. THE WRATH OF THE LORD BEGINS: A jealous and avenging God is the LORD; The LORD is avenging and wrathful. The LORD takes vengeance on His adversaries, And He reserves wrath for His enemies. All the nations will drink continually. They will drink to the last drop, And become as if they had never existed.  “It will come about on that day, when Gog comes against the land of Israel,” declares the Lord GOD, “that My fury will mount up in My anger.  “In My zeal and in My blazing wrath I declare that on that day there will certainly be a great earthquake in the land of Israel.  “The fish of the sea, the birds of the sky, the animals of the field, all the crawling things that crawl on the earth, and all mankind who are on the face of the earth will shake at My presence; and the mountains will be thrown down, the steep pathways will collapse, and every wall will fall to the ground.  (Nah 1:2,3; Oba 1:16; Eze 38:18-20)
18. 1ST BOWL – SOARS: Harmful and painful sore afflicted the people who had the mark of the beast and who worshiped his image. (Rev 16:2)
19. 2ND BOWL – SEA BECOMES BLOOD: The sea became blood like that of a dead man; and every living thing in the sea died. (Rev 16:3)
20. 3RD BOWL – RIVER BECOME BLOOD: Rivers and the springs of waters; and they became blood. (Rev 16:4)
21. 4TH BOWL – SUN SCORCHES:  The sun was given power to scorch people with fire.  And the people were scorched with fierce heat; and they blasphemed the name of God who has the power over these plagues, and they did not repent so as to give Him glory. (Rev 16:8-9)
22. 5TH BOWL – DARKNESS ON THE BEAST KINGDOM: The throne of the beast, and his kingdom became darkened; and they gnawed their tongues because of pain,  and they blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pain and their sores; and they did not repent of their deeds. (Rev 16:10-11)
23. 6TH BOWL – THE EUPHRATES DRIES UP: The sixth angel will pour out his bowl on the great river, the Euphrates; and its water will dry up, so that the way would be prepared for the kings from the east. Evil spirits will cause the kings of the whole world to gather them together for the war of the great day of God, the Almighty.  (“Behold, I am coming like a thief. Blessed is the one who stays awake and keeps his clothes, so that he will not walk about naked and men will not see his shame.”)  And they gathered them together to the place which in Hebrew is called Har-Magedon. (Rev 16:12-16)
24. THE LORD REBUKES THE SEAS: He rebukes the sea and dries it up; He dries up all the rivers. Bashan and Carmel wither, The blossoms of Lebanon wither.  Did the LORD rage against the rivers, Or was Your anger against the rivers, Or was Your rage against the sea, That You rode on Your horses, On Your chariots of salvation? (Nah 1:4; Hab 3:8 )
25. THE LORD’S PRESENCE WILL MELT THE MOUNTAINS: The LORD is coming forth from His place. He will come down and tread on the high places of the earth. The mountains will melt under Him And the valleys will be split, Like wax before the fire, Like water poured down a steep place. Fire goes before Him And burns up His adversaries round about. His lightnings lit up the world; The earth saw and trembled. The mountains melted like wax at the presence of the LORD, At the presence of the Lord of the whole earth. The heavens declare His righteousness, And all the peoples have seen His glory. (Mic 1:3,4; Psa 97:3-6)
26. JESUS TOUCHES DOWN: His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which is in front of Jerusalem on the east (Zec 14:4)
27. THE PLAGUE OF THE LORD: Before Him goes plague, And plague comes forth after Him. (Hab 3:5)
28. THE LAND RIPPLES LIKE THE WAVES OF THE NILE RIVER: The Lord GOD of armies, the One who touches the land so that it quakes, and all those who live in it mourn, and all of it rises up like the Nile And subsides like the Nile of Egypt. He stood and caused the earth to shudder; He looked and caused the nations to jump. Yes, the everlasting mountains were shattered, The ancient hills collapsed. His paths are everlasting.  (Amo 9:5;Hab 3:6)
29. THE MOUNT OF OLIVES SPLITS IN TWO: the Mount of Olives will be split in its middle from east to west forming a very large valley. Half of the mountain will move toward the north, and the other half toward the south. (Zec 14:4)
30. THE LORD’S WRATH BEGINS AGAINST THE PALESTINIANS: The Lord’s sword shall descend for judgment upon Edom, And upon the people whom He has designated for destruction.  The sword of the LORD is filled with blood, It drips with fat, with the blood of lambs and goats, With the fat of the kidneys of rams. For the LORD has a sacrifice in Bozrah, And a great slaughter in the land of Edom. Its streams will be turned into pitch, And its loose earth into brimstone, And its land will become burning pitch.  It will not be extinguished night or day; Its smoke will go up forever. From generation to generation it will be desolate; None will pass through it forever and ever. “Who is this who comes from Edom, With garments of glowing colors from Bozrah, This One who is majestic in His apparel, Marching in the greatness of His strength? “It is I, the One who speaks in righteousness, mighty to save.”  Why is Your apparel red, And Your garments like one who treads in the wine press?  “I have trodden the wine trough alone, And from the peoples there was no one with Me. I also trod them in My anger And trampled them in My wrath; And their lifeblood is sprinkled on My garments, And I stained all My clothes.  “For the day of vengeance was in My heart, And My year of redemption has come.   “I looked, but there was no one to help, And I was astonished and there was no one to uphold; So My own arm brought salvation to Me, And My wrath upheld Me.  “I trampled down the peoples in My anger And made them drunk with My wrath, And I poured out their lifeblood on the earth.”  (Isa 34:5-6, 9-10; Isa 63:1-6)
31. THE LORD FIGHTS AGAINST THE INVADERS: Then the LORD will go forth and fight against those nations, as when He fights on a day of battle.  In indignation You marched through the earth; In anger You trampled the nations.   You went forth for the salvation of Your people, For the salvation of Your anointed. You smashed the head of the house of evil To uncover him from foot to neck.  (Zec 14:3; Hab 3:12-13)
32. STRUCK WITH CONFUSION: The Lord will strike every horse, of the nations surrounding Judah first then Jerusalem, with confusion and its rider with insanity. The Lord will strike every horse of the nations with blindness. They will be struck by the Lord with confusion and blindness so that they attack one another. The Lord will protect Judah first then Jerusalem.  A great panic from the LORD will fall on them; and they will seize one another’s hand, and the hand of one will be raised against the hand of another. (Zec 12:4,7; 14:3) 
33. THE NATIONS WILL FLEE THROUGH THE VALLEY PASS:  When they see Jesus, they will flee by the valley of the Lord’s mountains. (Zec 14:5)
34. A SWORD WILL BE SUMMONED FOR THE ANTICHRIST: Awake, sword, against [the evil] Shepherd, And against the Man, My Associate. (Zec 13:7)
35. SUMMONING THE BIRDS TO FEAST ON THE DEAD: “Then I saw an angel standing in the sun, and he cried out with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in midheaven, “Come, assemble for the great feast of God,  so that you may eat the flesh of kings and the flesh of commanders, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all people, both free and slaves, and small and great.” (Rev 19:17-18)
36. THE ANTICHRIST WILL BE DESTROYED BY JESUS: The lawless one will be eliminated with the breath of Jesus’ mouth and brought to an end by the appearance of His coming. The false shepherd/antichrist is struck down first then his followers are destroyed next. The Lord will call for a sword against him on all His mountains, and every man’s sword will be against his brother. “You will fall on the mountains of Israel, you and all your troops, and the peoples who are with you; I will give you as food to every kind of predatory bird and animal of the field.  “You will fall on the open field; for it is I who have spoken,” declares the Lord GOD.”  “And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies, assembled to make war against Him who sat on the horse, and against His army.  And the beast was seized, and with him the false prophet who performed the signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image; these two were thrown alive into the lake of fire, which burns with brimstone.  (2Th 2:8; Zec 13:7;  Eze 38:21;  Eze 39:4-5; Rev 19:19-20)
37. JESUS WILL PURSUE THE NATIONS WITH ALL HIS HOLY ONES: Then the LORD, my God, will come, and all the holy ones with Him. From there the Lord will command the sword and it will kill them, And the Lord will set His eyes against them for harm and not for good. There fire will consume them, The sword will cut them down; It will consume them as the creeping locust consumes a crop. “the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him….”  The Lord commanded His consecrated ones, He has also called for His warriors Who boast in His eminence, To execute His anger.   A sound of a roar on the mountains, Like that of many people! A sound of an uproar of kingdoms, Of nations gathered together! The LORD of armies musters the army for battle.  The Lord’s army comes from a distant country, From the farthest horizons, The LORD and the weapons of His indignation, To destroy the whole land.  “Wail, for the day of the LORD is near! It will come as destruction from the Almighty.” (Zec 14:5; Nah 3:15; Mat 25:31; Isa 13:3-6)
38. THE TERROR OF THE NATIONS: All hands will fall limp, And every human heart will melt.  They will be terrified, Pains and anguish will take hold of them; They will writhe like a woman in labor, They will look at one another in astonishment, Their faces aflame.  “Behold, the day of the LORD is coming, Cruel, with fury and burning anger, To make the land a desolation; And He will exterminate its sinners from it.” (Isa 13:7-9)
39. NATIONS RUN TO THE SEAS: The Lord will remove the northern army far from Israel, and He will drive it into a dry and desolate land, its advance guard into the eastern sea, and its rear guard into the western sea. And its stench will ascend and its odor of decay will come up. (Joe 2:20)
40. BURNING LIKE A FURNACE: The Lord will  rise up as a witness. Indeed, His decision is to gather nations, To assemble kingdoms, To pour out on them His indignation, All His burning anger; For all the earth will be devoured By the fire of the Lord’s zeal. “For behold, the day is coming, burning like a furnace; and all the arrogant and every evildoer will be chaff; and the day that is coming will set them ablaze,” says the LORD of armies, “so that it will leave them neither root nor branches.” (Zep 3:8; Mal 4:1 )
41. THE PLAGUE OF JERUSALEM’S ATTACKERS: Now this will be the plague with which the LORD will strike all the peoples who have gone to war against Jerusalem; their flesh will rot while they stand on their feet, and their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongue will rot in their mouth. And just like this plague, there will be a plague on the horse, the mule, the camel, the donkey, and all the cattle that will be in those camps. (Zec 14:12, 15)
42. GAZA ABANDONDED AND THE PALESTINIANS DECIMATED BY THE LORD: For Gaza will be abandoned, And Ashkelon will become a desolation; The inhabitants of Ashdod will be driven out at noon, And Ekron will be uprooted.  Woe to the inhabitants of the seacoast, The nation of the Cherethites! The word of the LORD is against you, Canaan, land of the Philistines; And I will eliminate you So that there will be no inhabitant. (Zep 2:4-5)
43. JORDANIANS AND PALESTINIANS DESTROYED:  Moab will assuredly be like Sodom, And the sons of Ammon like Gomorrah— Ground overgrown with weeds and full of salt mines, And a permanent desolation. The remnant of the Lord’s people will plunder them, And the remainder of His nation will inherit them.  This they will have in return for their arrogance, because they have taunted and boasted against the people of the LORD of armies. (Zep 2:9-10)
44. SUDANESE, SYRIAN, AND IRAQI PEOPLE FALL BY THE SWORD: “You Ethiopians, will be slain by the Lord’s sword.”  And He will stretch out His hand against the north And eliminate Assyria, And He will make Nineveh a desolation, Parched like the wilderness. (Zep 2:12-13)
45. THE SWORD FOR THE ENEMIES OF THE LORD: And the rest were killed with the sword which came from the mouth of the Lord who sat on the horse, and all the birds were filled with their flesh. (Rev 19:21)
46. THEY RUN BUT CANNOT HIDE: Though they dig into Sheol, From there The Lord’s hand will take them; And though they ascend to heaven, From there the Lord will bring them down.  And though they hide on the summit of Carmel, the Lord will track them down and take them from there; And though they hide themselves from the Lord’s sight on the bottom of the sea, He will command the serpent from there, and it will bite them. And though they go into captivity before their enemies. (Amo 9:2-4)
47. DEAD BODIES: The sound of the whip, The sound of the roar of the wheel, Galloping horses And bounding chariots!  Horsemen charging, Swords flashing, spears gleaming, Many killed, a mass of corpses, And there is no end to the dead bodies— They stumble over the dead bodies! The slain will be thrown out, And their corpses will give off their stench, And the mountains will be drenched with their blood.  (Nah 3:2-3; Isa 34:3)
48. DESTRUCTION OF THE NATIONS: The Lord will destroy the nations that came against Judah and Jerusaelm (Zec 12:9)
49. 7TH BOWL – PLAGUE OF HUGE HAIL STONES AND FIRE: And there were flashes of lightning and sounds and peals of thunder; and there was a great earthquake, such as there had not been since mankind came to be upon the earth, so great an earthquake was it, and so mighty.  The great city was split into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. Babylon the great was remembered in the sight of God, to give her the cup of the wine of His fierce wrath.  And every island fled, and no mountains were found.  And huge hailstones, weighing about a talent each, *came down from heaven upon people; and people blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail, because the hailstone plague *was extremely severe. “With plague and with blood I will enter into judgment with him; and I will rain on him and on his troops, and on the many peoples who are with him, a torrential rain, hailstones, fire, and brimstone.  (Rev 16:18-21; Eze 38:22)
50. BIRDS FEAST ON THE DEAD:  “Now as for you, son of man, this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘Say to every kind of bird and to every animal of the field: “Assemble and come, gather from every direction to My sacrifice, which I am going to sacrifice for you as a great sacrifice on the mountains of Israel; and you will eat flesh and drink blood.  “You will eat the flesh of warriors and drink the blood of the leaders of the earth, as though they were rams, lambs, goats, and bulls, all of them fattened livestock of Bashan.   “So you will eat fat until you are full, and drink blood until you are drunk, from My sacrifice which I have sacrificed for you.  “You will eat your fill at My table with horses and charioteers, with warriors and all the men of war,” declares the Lord GOD. (Eze 39:17-20)
51. THE BATTLEFIELD WILL HAVE NEARLY NONE LEFT ALIVE: The Lord will punish the world for its evil And the wicked for their wrongdoing; He will also put an end to the audacity of the proud And humiliate the arrogance of the tyrants.  He will make mortal man scarcer than pure gold and mankind than the gold of Ophir. (Isa 13:11-12)
52. THE JUDGEMENT AGAINST THE LAND OF OTHER NATIONS: The Lord will send a sword upon Egypt, And there will be trembling in Sudan; When the slain fall in Egypt, They will take away her wealth, And her foundations will be torn down.  Sudan, Libya, Lud, all Arabia, Libya and the people of the land that is in league will fall with them by the sword.  “This is what the LORD says: “Indeed, those who support Egypt will fall And the pride of her power will come down; From Migdol to Syene They will fall within her by the sword,” Declares the Lord GOD.   “They will be desolate In the midst of the desolated lands; And her cities will be In the midst of the devastated cities. “And they will know that I am the LORD, When I set a fire in Egypt And all her helpers are broken.” (Eze 30:4-19)
53. JEWS WILL SPEAK TO JESUS:  “And someone will say to him, ‘What are these wounds between your arms?’ Then he will say, ‘Those with which I was wounded at the house of my friends.’ (Zec 13:6)
54. WATERS FOR CLEANSING OPENED: A fountain will be opened for the house of David and for the inhabitants of Jerusalem, for sin and for defilement.  And on that day living waters will flow out of Jerusalem, half of them toward the eastern sea and the other half toward the western sea; it will be in summer as well as in winter. (Zec 13:1; Zec 14:8) 
55. THE LORD IS KING OVER ALL THE EARTH: The LORD will be King over all the earth; on that day the LORD will be the only one, and His name the only one. (Zec 14:9)
56. THE LAND FLATTENED BUT JERUSALEM WILL BE EXALTED: All the land will change into a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem; but Jerusalem will rise and remain on its site from Benjamin’s Gate as far as the place of the First Gate to the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the king’s wine presses. (Zec 14:10)

AFTER THE DAY OF THE LORD:

1. JERUSALEM INHABITED: People will live in it, and there will no longer be a curse, for Jerusalem will live in security. (Zec 14:11)
2. IDOLATRY WILL BE CUT OFF: The Lord will eliminate the names of the idols from the land, and they will no longer be remembered; and He will also remove the prophets and the unclean spirit from the land. The LORD has issued a command concerning you: “Your name will no longer be perpetuated. I will eliminate the carved image and the cast metal image From the house of your gods. I will prepare your grave, For you are contemptible.” (Zec 13:2; Nah 1:14 )
3. THE WEALTH OF THE NATIONS BECOMES THE LORD’S: The wealth of all the surrounding nations will be gathered, gold, silver, and garments in great abundance. (Zec 14:14)
4. ABOUNDING FOOD: The LORD will be sending grain, new wine, and oil, and they will be satisfied in full with them. (Joe 2:19)
5. NEVER AGAIN DISGRACE: Never again will Israel be a disgrace among the nations. (Joe 2:19)
6. ANNUAL WORSHIP OF THE LORD AT JERUSALEM: Then it will come about that any who are left of all the nations that came against Jerusalem will go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of armies, and to celebrate the Feast of Booths. (Zec 14:16)
7. Joe 3:18  And on that day The mountains will drip with sweet wine, And the hills will flow with milk, And all the brooks of Judah will flow with water; And a spring will go out from the house of the LORD And water the Valley of Shittim. 
8. Joe 3:19  Egypt will become a wasteland, And Edom will become a desolate wilderness, Because of the violence done to the sons of Judah, In whose land they have shed innocent blood. 
9. Joe 3:20  But Judah will be inhabited forever, And Jerusalem for all generations.

Mat 25:31-33 NASB  “But when the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then He will sit on His glorious throne.  (32)  “And all the nations will be gathered before Him; and He will separate them from one another, just as the shepherd separates the sheep from the goats;  (33)  and He will put the sheep on His right, but the goats on the left.
15. Zep 3:9 NASB  “For then I will restore to the peoples pure lips, So that all of them may call on the name of the LORD, To serve Him shoulder to shoulder.
16. Zep 3:14-17 NASB  Shout for joy, daughter of Zion! Shout in triumph, Israel! Rejoice and triumph with all your heart, Daughter of Jerusalem!  (15)  The LORD has taken away His judgments against you, He has cleared away your enemies. The King of Israel, the LORD, is in your midst; You will no longer fear disaster.  (16)  On that day it will be said to Jerusalem: “Do not be afraid, Zion; Do not let your hands fall limp.  (17)  “The LORD your God is in your midst, A victorious warrior. He will rejoice over you with joy, He will be quiet in His love, He will rejoice over you with shouts of joy.
17. Eze 39:9  “Then those who inhabit the cities of Israel will go out and make fires with the weapons and burn them, both bucklers and shields, bows and arrows, war clubs and spears, and for seven years they will make fires of them. 
18. Eze 39:10  “They will not take wood from the field or gather firewood from the forests, because they will make fires with the weapons; and they will take the spoils of those who plundered them and seize the plunder of those who plundered them,” declares the Lord GOD. 
19. Eze 39:11  “On that day I will give Gog a burial place there in Israel, the valley of those who pass by east of the sea, and it will block the way of those who would pass by. So they will bury Gog there with all his horde, and they will call it the Valley of Hamon-gog. 
20. Eze 39:12  “For seven months the house of Israel will be burying them in order to cleanse the land. 
21. Eze 39:13  “And all the people of the land will bury them; and it will be to their renown on the day that I appear in My glory,” declares the Lord GOD. 
22. Eze 39:21-22 NASB  “And I will place My glory among the nations; and all the nations will see My judgment which I have executed, and My hand which I have laid on them.  (22)  “And the house of Israel will know that I am the LORD their God, from that day onward.
23. Eze 39:25-26 NASB  Therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: “Now I will restore the fortunes of Jacob and have mercy on all the house of Israel; and I will be jealous for My holy name.  (26)  “They will forget their disgrace and all their treachery which they perpetrated against Me, when they live securely on their own land with no one to make them afraid.

While the phrase “Day of the Lord” may not always refer to a single 24-hour period, Scripture presents it as a brief yet overwhelmingly intense time of divine intervention. As part of this effort, I have also translated many of the ancient peoples and nations referenced in the Bible into their modern counterparts, offering a clearer understanding for today’s reader. The sequence of events is based on my own careful study and interpretation of the biblical text.

I invite you to read this as a cohesive story—an immersive journey through the prophetic unfolding of the Day of the Lord.

Before we see the Day of the Lord unfold, we must see why Jesus comes back in wrath. The following shows us the setting in which Israel and Jerusalem find themselves.

THE STAGE IS SET: THE VALLEY OF GOD’S WRATH

A storm is gathering—brooding, global, divine.

The valley lies still for a moment longer, but not in peace. It is the Valley of Decision, where multitudes of soldiers now march toward their own judgment. The nations have gathered, not to debate, but to be weighed and found wanting. Across the hills of Megiddo, the sound of boots, wheels, and war machines echo—a trembling precursor to the Day of the LORD.

There, in that valley, the Lord Himself will enter into judgment with the armies of the earth. They have scattered His chosen people, Israel, among the nations. They have divided up His covenant land as if it were their own. And now, they stand on His soil. God’s fury is stirred.

“Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the Day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision.” Joel 3:14

The leaders of this invasion are unmistakable. Ancient names rise again—Persia (Iran), Cush (Sudan), Put (Libya), Gomer (Turkey), Beth-Togarmah (regions of modern Russia and the Caucasus)—a coalition forged in hatred of Israel. Like a black storm swelling from the north, they surge across the land, armed and confident, unaware they are being drawn by God Himself into their doom.

“You will come from your place out of the remote parts of the north… like a cloud to cover the land… so that the nations may know Me when I show Myself holy through you, O Gog.” Ezekiel 38:15-16

Now Jerusalem—God’s holy city—is under siege. It has remained under Israel’s control until this moment. But now, as foretold, it becomes a burdensome stone, a flashpoint for the wrath of nations. Every nation on earth is drawn into this final conflict, encircling the city like vultures before the feast.

“They will put up a barricade against you and surround you… hem you in on every side.” Luke 19:43

“When you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then recognize that her desolation is near.” Luke 21:20

The siege tightens. Escape routes vanish. Panic spreads. Those who can flee to the mountains do. Those caught within the city face sword and sorrow. Jerusalem is trampled underfoot—its people exiled, its walls battered, its hopes dimming. The time of the Gentiles reaches its terrifying fulfillment.

As war grinds on, the land itself begins to mourn. Israel is stripped bare. The vine of the Lord is a wasteland. Crops have failed. Grain silos lie in ruin. The fig tree is splintered to a stump. The priests mourn, and the ministers weep—no offerings remain. Even the animals groan in hunger and confusion, their pastures scorched, their water gone.

“The field is ruined, the land mourns… the grain is ruined, the new wine has dried up, the fresh oil has failed.” Joel 1:10

“The herds of cattle wander aimlessly… even the flocks of sheep suffer.” Joel 1:18

Fire consumes the forests. Famine tightens its grip. The judgment of God breathes across the hills like a furnace wind.

And still, in the face of devastation, a flicker of mercy is offered. The Lord calls for repentance—not from the world, but from His own people. The priests and ministers are summoned to put on sackcloth and spend the night in tears. A fast is to be consecrated. A sacred assembly must be gathered. The elders of Israel and every inhabitant are to come to the house of the Lord and cry out for mercy.

“Consecrate a fast, proclaim a solemn assembly… cry out to the LORD.” Joel 1:14

The Day of the Lord is not distant—it is at the threshold. The armies are in place. The land groans. The heavens brace.

Judgment is near.

THE DAY OF THE LORD

“Woe to you who are longing for the Day of the Lord. For what purpose will the Day of the Lord be to you? It will be darkness and not light.  As when a man flees from a lion and a bear confronts him. Or he goes home, leans with his hand against the wall— and a snake bites him. Will not the Day of the Lord be darkness instead of light? Even gloom, with no brightness in it?” Amos 5:18-20

Suddenly, without warning, a hushed breath stills the earth—the world unaware of the hour that falls like a thief in the night.

While they are saying, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction will come upon them like labor pains upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.

In resolve, Israel gathers her strength and rises to defend the holy city. Judea will fight at Jerusalem.

Storm clouds swell as the armies of the world encircle Jerusalem in a brutal, merciless siege.

All the nations will be gathered against Jerusalem to battle, and the city will be taken, the houses plundered, the women raped, and half of the city exiled, but the other half of the people will not be eliminated from the city. They will level you to the ground, and throw down your children within you, and they will not leave you one stone upon another.

A blade carves through the land of Israel, and only a third of the Jewish people will emerge from the fire—refined, tested, and preserved.

That two parts of the Jewish people in Israel will be cut off and die; But a third of Jews will be left in the land. 

“And I will bring the third part through the fire, Refine them as silver is refined, And test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, And I will answer them; I will say, ‘They are My people,’ And they will say, ‘The LORD is my God.’” Zechariah 13:9

In anguish and awakening, a remnant lifts tear-stained eyes and cries out to the One they had forsaken: Jesus Christ their Messiah.

Israel will not see their Messiah the Lord Jesus until they say, “BLESSED IS THE ONE WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD!” (Matthew 23:39) And in that hour of terror and awakening, Judah and Jerusalem are pierced with conviction. Their hearts break open in repentance for the One they once rejected—their Messiah.

The very fabric of creation shudders; stars refuse to shine, and noonday becomes as midnight.

On that day there will be no light; the luminaries will die out. For it will be a unique day which is known to the LORD, neither day nor night, but it will come about that at the time of evening there will be light. A day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and thick darkness. 

The Lord will make the sun go down at noon, And make the earth dark in broad daylight. For the stars of heaven and their constellations will not flash their light; The sun will be dark when it rises And the moon will not shed its light. 

That day is a day of anger, a day of trouble and distress, a day of destruction and desolation, a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and thick darkness. The sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall  from the sky.

Suddenly, the heavens tear open, unveiling the Majestic One—glorious, unstoppable, riding to rescue then judge.

The sign of the Lord Jesus Christ will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see Him coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory. The Lord rides on a white horse, and He who sat on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and wages war. 

His eyes are a flame of fire, and on His head are many crowns; and He has a name written on Him which no one knows except Himself. He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies which are in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, were following Him on white horses. 

From the Lord Jesus’ mouth comes a sharp sword, so that with it He may strike down the nations, and He will rule them with a rod of iron; and He treads the wine press of the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty. And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written: “KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.”

Israel’s eyes lift to the One they pierced, and a torrent of sorrow breaks upon them—grief as deep and personal as mourning an only son, a firstborn lost.

The Spirit of grace and of pleading will fall on Judea and Jerusalem so that they will look at Jesus whom they pierced; and they will mourn for Him, like one mourning for an only son, and they will weep bitterly over Him like the bitter weeping over a firstborn. On that day the mourning in Jerusalem will be great. 

A violent storm gathers beneath His feet, wind and fury swirling as the dust of judgment rolls across the land. In the gale and the storm is His way, And clouds are the dust beneath His feet. From the south, He approaches in fire and majesty.

Then the roar— The LORD roars from Zion and utters His voice from Jerusalem.

The heavens and the earth quake. Mountains quake because of Him, And the hills come apart; Indeed the earth is upheaved by His presence, The world and all the inhabitants in it. Who can stand before The Lord’s indignation? Who can endure the burning of His anger? 

His wrath gushes forth like fire, And the rocks are broken up by Him. The mountains saw You and quaked; The downpour of waters swept by. The deep raised its voice, It lifted high its hands. The Lord will make the heavens tremble, And the earth will be shaken from its place At the fury of the LORD of armies In the day of His burning anger. The powers of the heavens will be shaken.

And then, in the stillness after the roar, a trumpet sounds from heaven, splitting sky and silence alike. The Lord Jesus Christ will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 

He will send forth His angels with a great trumpet blast, and they will gather together His elect, the Church, from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other. They will be caught up—lifted in the clouds—to meet the Lord in the air. There, they will be with Him forever. For they were not destined for wrath but for glory.

Then the wrath of the Lord Jesus Christ begins.

A jealous and avenging God is the LORD Jesus; the LORD is avenging and wrathful. The LORD takes vengeance on His adversaries, and He reserves wrath for His enemies. All the nations will drink continually. They will drink to the last drop, and become as if they had never existed.

“It will come about on that day, when Gog comes against the land of Israel,” declares the Lord GOD, “that My fury will mount up in My anger. In My zeal and in My blazing wrath I declare that on that day there will certainly be a great earthquake in the land of Israel. The fish of the sea, the birds of the sky, the animals of the field, all the crawling things that crawl on the earth, and all mankind who are on the face of the earth will shake at My presence; and the mountains will be thrown down, the steep pathways will collapse, and every wall will fall to the ground.” Ezekiel 38:18-20

The bowls of God’s wrath are poured out upon the earth, and terror follows each one.

Harmful and painful sores afflict those who bear the Mark of the Beast and worship his image.

The sea becomes as blood, thick and lifeless like that of a dead man; every living thing in it dies.

Rivers and springs turn to blood—judgment echoing through the very veins of the earth.

The sun scorches with fire; its fierce heat falls upon the people, and they blaspheme the name of God who has power over these plagues, yet they do not repent.

Darkness spreads over the throne of the Beast – the Antichrist; his world-government becomes a realm of agony, and men gnaw their tongues in pain and curse the God of Heaven.

The Lord Jesus rebukes the waters, and they shrink back before His wrath.

He dries up the sea; He dries up all the rivers. Did the LORD rage against the rivers, or was His fury against the seas? No—it was the march of His salvation, riding forth on chariots of deliverance.

The great river Euphrates dries up, preparing the way for the kings of the east. Unclean spirits like frogs emerge—demonic signs that gather the kings of the whole world to the battle of the great day of God Almighty. They are drawn to a place called in Hebrew, Armageddon.

Now the Lord Jesus comes down from His dwelling place, His steps crushing the high places of the earth. Mountains melt like wax before Him. Valleys split as water poured down a steep place. Fire goes before Him and consumes His adversaries. His lightning illumines the world. The earth trembles; the heavens declare His righteousness. All people behold His glory.

Then Christ Jesus, the Holy One, touches down.

His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which is in front of Jerusalem on the east.

Before Him goes plague, and plague comes forth after Him.

The Lord GOD of armies – Jesus, the One who touches the land so that it quakes—He causes all who live in it to mourn. The land rises and falls in waves like the Nile, shaken by His approach. He stood and caused the earth to shudder; He looked and caused the nations to jump. The everlasting mountains were shattered, the ancient hills collapsed. His paths are everlasting.

As the Lord Jesus’ feet touch the mountain, the Mount of Olives splits in two from east to west, forming a vast valley. One half moves to the north, the other to the south.

Now the wrath of the Lord burns against the Palestinians —against those marked for destruction.

Jesus’ splendor covers the heavens, and the earth is full of His praise. His radiance is like the sunlight; He has rays flashing from His hand, And the hiding of His might is there.

The sword of the Lord is soaked with blood, drenched in the fat of sacrifice. For the Lord has prepared a slaughter in Bozrah – the ancient capital of Edom whose spiritual descendants are the Palestinians. Its rivers will become tar, its soil like burning brimstone. Day and night it will not be quenched—its smoke will rise forever. Desolate for all generations, no one will pass through it again.

And then He comes—majestic, fierce.

“Who is this coming from Edom, from Bozrah, with garments stained crimson? This One, arrayed in splendor, striding forward in the greatness of His strength?” “I am the One who speaks in righteousness, mighty to save.” “Why are Your garments red, like one who treads the winepress?”  “I have trodden the winepress alone; none stood with Me. In My wrath I trampled the nations; their blood has stained My garments. The day of vengeance burned within Me; the year of My redemption had come. I looked, and there was no one to help. So My own arm brought salvation, and My fury upheld Me. I poured out their lifeblood on the earth.” Isaiah 63:1-6

And now a sword is summoned against the Antichrist—against the false shepherd.

“Awake, O sword, against the evil shepherd, and against the man who is My companion,” declares the Lord of hosts. “Then I saw an angel standing in the sun, and he cried out with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in midheaven, “Come, assemble for the great feast of God,  so that you may eat the flesh of kings and the flesh of commanders, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all people, both free and slaves, and small and great.” Revelation 19:17-18

The end approaches for the Antichrist. The Lord will slay the lawless one with the breath of His mouth and destroy him with the radiance of His coming. The false shepherd will fall first, then his armies. 

The Lord calls for a sword on all His mountains. 

“You will fall on the mountains of Israel, you and all your troops, and the peoples who are with you; I will give you as food to every kind of predatory bird and animal of the field.  “You will fall on the open field; for it is I who have spoken,” declares the Lord GOD.” Ezekiel 39:4-5

The Beast – the Antichrist, and the kings of the earth, and their armies were assembled to wage war against Jesus Christ who sat on the horse and against His holy angel army. But the Beast was seized, and with him the false prophet who performed signs to deceive. They were thrown alive into the Lake of Fire that burns with sulfur.

The Lord Jesus will go forth and fight against those nations, as when He fights on a day of battle.  In indignation He marched through the earth; In anger He trampled the nations. Jesus went forth for the salvation of His people, for the salvation of His anointed. He smashed the head of the house of evil to uncover him from foot to neck. 

Confusion falls upon the invading armies. Their horses panic as they are struck with blindness; their riders are struck with madness. Judea and Jerusalem are shielded, as the enemies turn on each other.

 A great panic from the Lord Jesus Christ grips them—each man lifts his hand against his brother. But when they behold Jesus, they flee through the valley by the Lord’s mountains.

The northern army is driven out of Israel —scattered to desolation. Its advance guard is cast into the eastern sea, its rear into the western sea. The stench of death rises.

Then the Lord God comes to finish the wicked of the nations—and all His holy ones with Him.

From His mouth goes forth the command, and the sword does not miss. Fire consumes, and the nations fall like dry grass. The sword cuts down; it devours like locusts.

The Lord Jesus shines in glory, and all the angels with Him. The Lord commands His consecrated warriors—mighty ones.

A roar echoes across the mountains—an uproar of nations stirred to their doom. The Lord of armies musters His host for battle. From distant lands they come—the Lord and the weapons of His wrath—to lay waste the earth.

“Wail, for the day of the LORD is near! It comes as destruction from the Almighty.” Isaiah 13:6

Terror overtakes the nations. Hands fall limp. Hearts melt. 

They tremble like a woman in labor. None can stand. They will look at one another in astonishment, their faces aflame.

“Behold, the Day of the LORD comes—cruel, with fury and burning anger—to make the land a desolation. He will exterminate its sinners from it.” Isaiah 13:7-9

The Lord gathers the nations. He rises as a witness. His fury ignites the earth.

All His burning anger is poured out. The whole earth is consumed by the fire of His jealousy.

“For behold, the day is coming, burning like a furnace. All the arrogant and every evildoer will be chaff. The coming day will set them ablaze,” says the LORD of armies, “leaving them neither root nor branch.” Malachi 4:1

A plague consumes those who dare oppose the Lord. Now this will be the plague with which the LORD Jesus Christ will strike all the peoples who have gone to war against Jerusalem; their flesh will rot while they stand on their feet, and their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongue will rot in their mouth. 

Upon the Palestinians, judgment falls swift and unrelenting.

For Gaza will be abandoned, and Palestinian cities will become a desolation. Woe to the inhabitants of the seacoast! The word of the LORD is against you. The Lord will eliminate the Palestinians so that there will be no inhabitants in the land.

The nation of Jordan will be overthrown as the Lord sweeps in. Moab will assuredly be like Sodom, and the sons of Amman, Jordan like Gomorrah—ground overgrown with weeds and full of salt mines, a permanent desolation. The remnant of the Lord’s people will plunder them, and the remainder of His nation will inherit them. This they will have in return for their arrogance, because they have taunted and boasted against the people of the Lord of armies.

Sudan will be slain by the Lord’s sword. And He will stretch out His hand against the north and eliminate Syria and Iraq. He will make Syria and Iraq a desolation, parched like the wilderness.

Then the sword is drawn against all who stand as enemies of the Almighty.

And the rest were killed with the sword which came from the mouth of the Lord who sat on the horse, and all the birds were filled with their flesh.

But though they run, there is no refuge.

Though they dig into hell, from there the Lord’s hand will take them. Though they ascend to heaven, from there He will bring them down. Though they hide on the summit of Carmel, He will track them and take them. Though they hide from His sight at the bottom of the sea, He will command the serpent, and it will bite them. Though they go into captivity, there too His justice finds them.

The sound of the whip, the roar of wheels, galloping horses and bounding chariots echo through the smoke of battle. Horsemen charge, swords flash, spears gleam. Many fall—an endless mass of corpses. They stumble over the dead.

The slain are thrown out. Their stench rises, and the mountains are drenched with their blood.

And the nations that dared rise against Jerusalem—every one of them—is brought low. The Lord will utterly destroy the nations that came against Judah and Jerusalem.

Then from heaven, the final bowl is poured. Flashes of lightning streak across the sky, thunder shakes the heavens, and a great earthquake rends the earth—greater than any since man first walked upon it. The great city Jerusalem is split into three. Cities of the nations fall. Babylon is remembered before God and made to drink the full cup of His wrath.

Islands vanish. Mountains are no more. Then from the sky, hailstones—each the weight of as much as 80 pounds—plummet to the earth. The plague is fierce, unbearable. Still, the people curse God for the hail, refusing repentance.

“With plague and with blood I will enter into judgment with him; and I will rain on him and on his troops, and on the many peoples who are with him, a torrential rain, hailstones, fire, and brimstone.” Ezekiel 38:22

Then a summons goes out—to every winged creature under heaven.

“Now as for you, son of man,” declares the Lord GOD, “say to every kind of bird and to every animal of the field: ‘Assemble and come, gather from every direction to My sacrifice, which I am going to sacrifice for you as a great sacrifice on the mountains of Israel; and you will eat flesh and drink blood.’”  “You will eat the flesh of warriors and drink the blood of the leaders of the earth, as though they were rams, lambs, goats, and bulls, all of them fattened livestock of Bashan. So you will eat fat until you are full, and drink blood until you are drunk, from My sacrifice which I have sacrificed for you. You will eat your fill at My table with horses and charioteers, with warriors and all the men of war,” declares the Lord GOD. Ezekiel 39:17-20

The battlefield, once vibrant with resistance, now lies in ruin—nearly no soul remains to draw breath.

The Lord will punish the world for its evil and the wicked for their wrongdoing; He will also put an end to the audacity of the proud and humiliate the arrogance of the tyrants. He will make mortal man scarcer than pure gold.

Judgment is not confined to Jerusalem alone—it sweeps across nations and continents.

The Lord will send a sword upon Egypt, and there will be trembling in Sudan. When the slain fall in Egypt, they will take away her wealth, and her foundations will be torn down. Sudan, Libya, Turkey, all Arabia, and the people of the land that are in league will fall with them by the sword.

Then silence and awe sweep across the broken earth.

It has ended. 

God’s wrath is appeased.

In the wake of destruction, the people of Israel come face-to-face with their Redeemer.

And someone will say to the Lord Jesus Christ, ‘What are these wounds between Your arms?’ Then He will say, ‘Those with which I was wounded at the house of My friends.

A fountain flows—clear, purifying, washing away the filth of sin.

A fountain will be opened for the house of David and for the inhabitants of Jerusalem, for sin and for defilement. And on that day living waters will flow out of Jerusalem, half of them toward the eastern sea and the other half toward the western sea; it will be in summer as well as in winter.

The LORD will be King over all the earth; on that day the LORD will be the only one, and His name the only one.

All the land will change into a plain south of Jerusalem; but Jerusalem will rise above. People will live in it, and there will no longer be a curse, for Jerusalem will live in security. Never again will Israel be a disgrace among the nations.

“Shout for joy, daughter of Zion! Shout in triumph, Israel! Rejoice and triumph with all your heart, Daughter of Jerusalem!  The LORD has taken away His judgments against you, He has cleared away your enemies. The King of Israel, the LORD, is in your midst; You will no longer fear disaster.  On that day it will be said to Jerusalem: “Do not be afraid, Zion; Do not let your hands fall limp.  “The LORD your God is in your midst, A victorious warrior. He will rejoice over you with joy, He will be quiet in His love, He will rejoice over you with shouts of joy.” Zephaniah 3:14-17

Principle verses proving the preceding rapture happens on the SAME DAY AS God’s wrath: Luk 17:26-32 NASB  “And just as it happened in the days of Noah, so will it also be in the days of the Son of Man:  (27)  people were eating, they were drinking, they were marrying, and they were being given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all.  (28)  “It was the same as happened in the days of Lot: they were eating, they were drinking, they were buying, they were selling, they were planting, and they were building;  (29)  but on the day that Lot left Sodom, it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all.  (30)  “It will be just the same on the day that the Son of Man is revealed.  (31)  “On that day, the one who will be on the housetop, with his goods in the house, must not go down to take them out; and likewise the one in the field must not turn back.  (32)  “Remember Lot’s wife.

Besides Revelation chapters 8 and 9, the Bible actually has a lot to say about the time of Wormwood! Go ahead and read Rev. 8 & 9 where Trumpets 1-6 are the Wormwood asteroid or a direct result of Wormwood. But here some additional scriptures to study along with those passages that could potentially be talking about the Wormwood asteroid but it must be stated that the Day of the Lord and asteroid scriptures can be hard to separate:

Mat 24:29 NASB  “But immediately after the tribulation of those days THE SUN WILL BE DARKENED, AND THE MOON WILL NOT GIVE ITS LIGHT, AND THE STARS WILL FALL from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.

Luk 21:25 NASB  “There will be signs in the sun and moon and stars, and on the earth distress among nations, in perplexity at the roaring of the sea and the waves,

Mar 13:24-25 NASB  “But in those days, after that tribulation, THE SUN WILL BE DARKENED AND THE MOON WILL NOT GIVE ITS LIGHT,  (25)  AND THE STARS WILL BE FALLING from heaven, and the powers that are in the heavens will be shaken.

Isa 24:17-20 NASB  Terror and pit and snare Confront you, you inhabitant of the earth.  (18)  Then it will be that the one who flees the sound of terror will fall into the pit, And the one who climbs out of the pit will be caught in the snare; For the windows above are opened, and the foundations of the earth shake.  (19)  The earth is broken apart, The earth is split through, The earth is shaken violently.  (20)  The earth trembles like a heavy drinker And sways like a hut, For its wrongdoing is heavy upon it, And it will fall, never to rise again.

Joe 1:15-20 NASB  Woe for the day! For the day of the LORD is near, And it will come as destruction from the Almighty.  (16)  Has food not been cut off before our eyes, and Joy and rejoicing from the house of our God?  (17)  The seeds have dried up under their shovels; The storehouses have become desolate, The grain silos are ruined, Because the grain has dried up.  (18)  How the animals have groaned! The herds of cattle have wandered aimlessly Because there is no pasture for them; Even the flocks of sheep have suffered.  (19)  To You, LORD, I cry out; For fire has devoured the pastures of the wilderness, And the flame has burned up all the trees of the field.  (20)  Even the animals of the field pant for You; For the stream beds of water are dried up, And fire has devoured the pastures of the wilderness.

• It seems the circumstances of the asteroid produce dried seeds, desolate storehouses, ruined food, dried grain. Animals and people have no food.
• Fire has consumed the farm lands, pastures, and forests. Rivers have dried up.
• These circumstances precede the Day of the Lord by some indeterminate amount of time. Could be several months to over a few years.
• This is likely due to the Wormwood asteroid meaning some time within years the Lord will come.
• BTW, the Lord promises a reversal of all these things: Joe 2:21-27 NASB  Do not fear, land; shout for joy and rejoice, For the LORD has done great things.  (22)  Do not fear, animals of the field, For the pastures of the wilderness have turned green, For the tree has produced its fruit, The fig tree and the vine have yielded in full.  (23)  So shout for joy, you sons of Zion, And rejoice in the LORD your God; For He has given you the early rain for your vindication. And He has brought down for you the rain, The early and latter rain as before.  (24)  The threshing floors will be full of grain, And the vats will overflow with the new wine and oil.  (25)  “Then I will compensate you for the years That the swarming locust has eaten, The creeping locust, the stripping locust, and the gnawing locust— My great army which I sent among you.  (26)  “You will have plenty to eat and be satisfied, And you will praise the name of the LORD your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you; Then My people will never be put to shame.  (27)  “So you will know that I am in the midst of Israel, And that I am the LORD your God And there is no other; And My people will never be put to shame.

Joe 2:10-11 NASB  Before them the earth quakes, The heavens tremble, The sun and the moon become dark, And the stars lose their brightness.  (11)  The LORD utters His voice before His army; His camp is indeed very great, For mighty is one who carries out His word. The day of the LORD is indeed great and very awesome, And who can endure it?

Joe 2:30-31 NASB  “I will display wonders in the sky and on the earth, Blood, fire, and columns of smoke.  (31)  “The sun will be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, Before the great and awesome day of the LORD comes.

Joe 3:11-16 NASB  Hurry and come, all you surrounding nations, And gather yourselves there. Bring down, LORD, Your warriors.  (12)  Let the nations be awakened And come up to the Valley of Jehoshaphat, For there I will sit to judge All the surrounding nations.  (13)  Put in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe. Come, tread the grapes, for the wine press is full; The vats overflow, for their wickedness is great.  (14)  Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision.  (15)  The sun and moon have become dark, And the stars have lost their brightness.  (16)  The LORD roars from Zion And utters His voice from Jerusalem, And the heavens and the earth quake. But the LORD is a refuge for His people, And a stronghold for the sons of Israel.

• This tells us the timing of the Day of the Lord. It is the time of Armageddon based on the Valley of Jehoshaphat.
• It is the time the Wrath harvest: Rev 14:18-20 NASB  Then another angel, the one who has power over fire, came out from the altar; and he called with a loud voice to him who had the sharp sickle, saying, “Put in your sharp sickle and gather the clusters from the vine of the earth, because her grapes are ripe.”  (19)  So the angel swung his sickle to the earth and gathered the clusters from the vine of the earth, and threw them into the great wine press of the wrath of God.  (20)  And the wine press was trampled outside the city, and blood came out from the wine press, up to the horses’ bridles, for a distance of 1,600 stadia.
• But notice it has many of the same events in the skies and earth. It is unclear if they are happening because of the Lord’s presence or because they are the lingering results of the asteroid strike.

Zep 1:2-3 NASB  “I will completely remove all things From the face of the earth,” declares the LORD.  (3)  “I will remove human and animal life; I will remove the birds of the sky And the fish of the sea, And the ruins along with the wicked; And I will eliminate mankind from the face of the earth,” declares the LORD.

Zep 1:14-18 NASB  The great day of the LORD is near, Near and coming very quickly; Listen, the day of the LORD! In it the warrior cries out bitterly.  (15)  That day is a day of anger, A day of trouble and distress, A day of destruction and desolation, A day of darkness and gloom, A day of clouds and thick darkness,  (16)  A day of trumpet and battle cry Against the fortified cities And the high corner towers.  (17)  I will bring distress on mankind So that they will walk like those who are blind, Because they have sinned against the LORD; And their blood will be poured out like dust, And their flesh like dung.  (18)  Neither their silver nor their gold will be able to save them On the day of the LORD’S anger; And all the earth will be devoured By the fire of His jealousy, For He will make a complete end, Indeed a horrifying one, Of all the inhabitants of the earth.

Act 2:19-20 NASB  ‘AND I WILL DISPLAY WONDERS IN THE SKY ABOVE AND SIGNS ON THE EARTH BELOW, BLOOD, FIRE, AND VAPOR OF SMOKE.  (20)  ‘THE SUN WILL BE TURNED INTO DARKNESS AND THE MOON INTO BLOOD, BEFORE THE GREAT AND GLORIOUS DAY OF THE LORD COMES.

2Pe 3:10 NASB  But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a roar and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and its works will be discovered.

• So it is clear there will be intense heat likely from the presence of Jesus.
• Also the earth will be exposed. Would that not also be what happens when an asteroid strikes the earth? But check out the next verses in Nahum below.

The following verses of Nahum seem to differentiate what is happening specifically because of the Lord’s presence and not the asteroid. This is a tremendous help in dividing the two events: the Wormwood asteroid strike versus the Day of the Lord.

Nah 1:2-6 NASB  A jealous and avenging God is the LORD; The LORD is avenging and wrathful. The LORD takes vengeance on His adversaries, And He reserves wrath for His enemies.  (3)  The LORD is slow to anger and great in power, And the LORD will by no means leave the guilty unpunished. In the gale and the storm is His way, And clouds are the dust beneath His feet.  (4)  He rebukes the sea and dries it up; He dries up all the rivers. Bashan and Carmel wither, The blossoms of Lebanon wither.  (5)  Mountains quake because of Him, And the hills come apart; Indeed the earth is upheaved by His presence, The world and all the inhabitants in it.  (6)  Who can stand before His indignation? Who can endure the burning of His anger? His wrath gushes forth like fire, And the rocks are broken up by Him.

Psa 97:1-6 NASB  The LORD reigns, may the earth rejoice; May the many islands be joyful.  (2)  Clouds and thick darkness surround Him; Righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne.  (3)  Fire goes before Him And burns up His enemies all around.  (4)  His lightning lit up the world; The earth saw it and trembled.  (5)  The mountains melted like wax at the presence of the LORD, At the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.  (6)  The heavens declare His righteousness, And all the peoples have seen His glory.

Note: THE Day of the Lord begins with the Rapture Isa_13:6-12; Joe_2:10-11; Joe_2:31; Zep_1:2; Zep_1:14-15; Zec_14:5; Act_2:20; 1Th_5:2; 2Pe_3:10-12; 1Co_5:5.

Is Man a “Little god”?

Some have purported that man is equal to God. Others, that man is a little lower than God. Is man divine then? Are we god-men?

We must make some initial observations before trying to answer these questions? It is evident that Jesus became a man. He is both 100% God and 100% man even now. This did not happen with angels or any other creation. The God-Man Jesus will forever be 100% God and 100% man. And God knew this would take place before time began and proceeded anyway.

So we must from the start acknowledge that there is something special about man that God would become a man, FOREVER, and still be divine. It is encapsulated in the simple but deep phrase of Genesis 1:26, “Then God said, ‘Let Us make mankind in Our image, according to Our likeness.’”

We must observe a few additional things, namely that God is a spirit (John 4:24). Man too is a spirit (1 Thessalonians 5:23). Because of this, many have taught that man is in the same “class as God”. Well that can seem like blasphemy but is it? What do people mean when they say man is in the same class as God? I cannot speak for them. But I can agree that God is a spirit and so is man because that is what the Bible clearly teaches.

If by “class” one means spirit, then yes we are in the same class as God if “class” ONLY means we too are spirits like God. But angels are also spirits (Hebrews 1:7) so they too would be in this “class”. Then angels and men are like God in this respect and are therefore not special. But it is evident man is special in that Jesus did not become an angel but became a man forever. The fact that He could and still remain God implies there is something unique about men that angels do not possess.

An interesting verse often debated along these lines is Psa 82:6 NASB “I said, ‘You are gods, And all of you are sons of the Most High.’” Also this was quoted by Jesus:

Joh 10:33-36 NASB The Jews answered Him, “We are not stoning You for a good work, but for blasphemy; and because You, being a man, make Yourself out to be God.” (34) Jesus answered them, “Has it not been written in your Law: ‘I SAID, YOU ARE GODS’? (35) “If he called them gods, to whom the word of God came (and the Scripture cannot be nullified), (36) are you saying of Him whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, ‘You are blaspheming,’ because I said, ‘I am the Son of God’?

The Psalm Jesus quotes though was a rebuke to the judges of the land, whom God called gods because they were to represent Him by judging righteously with justice. But they were perverted judges. So, at the end of the Psalm a curse is pronounced upon them, Psalm 82:7 NASB “Nevertheless you will die like men, And fall like one of the princes.” So they are mortal and therefore not divine.

Psalm 82 did not teach that man IS divine. It taught that some men are in a position that is to represent God and, not surprisingly, they failed.

Another verse that some teach saying man is a little lower than God, and therefore must be divine, is Psalm 8:4-5 NASB “What is man that You think of him, And a son of man that You are concerned about him? (5) Yet You have made him a little lower than God, And You crown him with glory and majesty!”

The word “God” here is elohim which can refer to God or angels. So whether it means God or angels is up for debate (though the Psalm wouldn’t make much sense if the writer is saying man is a little lower than God, because the contemplation is about how God would think so highly of such a lowly creature as man). But if elohim means God, then to say man is lower than God doe not in ANY way imply man is divine. It just means exactly what it said, man is a little lower than elohim. However, I think it is actually very clear that elohim means angels according to Hebrews 2:7 which quoted the Psalm: NASB “YOU HAVE MADE HIM FOR A LITTLE WHILE LOWER THAN ANGELS; YOU HAVE CROWNED HIM WITH GLORY AND HONOR;

Is man a little god? What does the Word say?: Isa 43:10 NASB “You are My witnesses,” declares the LORD, “And My servant whom I have chosen, So that you may know and believe Me And understand that I am He. Before Me there was no God formed, And there will be none after Me.

There are NO gods. There is only ONE God according to the Bible. The only gods out there are the ones that call themselves gods, like demons whom Paul rebukes as “so-called gods.” Consider what the Word says:

1Co 8:4-6 NASB Therefore, concerning the eating of food sacrificed to idols, we know that an idol is nothing at all in the world, and that there is no God but one. (5) For even if there are so-called gods whether in heaven or on earth, as indeed there are many gods and many lords, (6) yet for us there is only one God, the Father, from whom are all things, and we exist for Him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we exist through Him.

To call yourself a god is the same thing demons do so that they can be worshiped. Are you trying to be worshiped? Are you trying to take glory from the ONE and only God? I’d hate to be you on Judgment Day if you are!

But let us not leave one ditch only to find ourselves in the ditch on the other side. We have been given a mandate to preach and teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Jesus was the Light of the world (John 8:12). But then Jesus also says something strange, “YOU are the light of the world.” (Matthew 5:14).

Therefore, we are to operated on behalf of Jesus, in the name of Jesus, to carry out the works of Jesus. We ARE to be doing the works of Jesus (John 14:12) which can only happen by the power the Holy Spirit and the authority we have been given in the Name of Jesus. When we step out to do theses things, God shows up to speak and move through us – His Church. To do these things doesn’t make us divine in any way. But to not do these things makes us disobedient and deficient of our potential to be a light. We will never be THE Light but we can all be a light in Christ.

It is clear, there is only ONE God and you are not Him. But more than that, there are not even little gods. They don’t exist. We are men (period). There is neither scriptural basis to exalt man to divinity, nor debase man to not being made in God’s image. Man is just man. That’s it. To say more is error that smells like the deception of Satan in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3:5). To say man is less than made in God’s image it to reject God’s Word. Do not add to the Word or take away and you will abide in Truth. Be content with what you are. Our sufficiency is only found in Christ Jesus the Lord.

(BTW this author is WOF. Those claiming to be WOF which teach “little gods” doctrine are not WOF any more than they are little gods. Just because you say you are something doesn’t make you that thing…no matter how many times you “confess” it.)

If God is in control, then everything that happens like sin and it consequences are really a result of His will. This negates man’s responsibility for his own sins and thus man should not be judged. But the Bible is clear we, mankind all the way back to Adam, is responsible for sin in the earth and its consequences. God is not the author of sin.

Jas 1:13-16 NASB  Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, and He Himself does not tempt anyone.  (14)  But each one is tempted when he is carried away and enticed by his own lust.  (15)  Then when lust has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and when sin is accomplished, it brings forth death.  (16)  Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren.

Man has a free will. With that freedom he chose sin. The day that Adam ate of that fruit he died spiritually. Man is entirely responsible for the evil we see in the world today – never God. Why do bad things happen to good people?…what good people? There are no good people for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23).  Therefore, we all died spiritually because of our sins. But God came with His amazing plan of Redemption through the Lord Jesus Christ to save us from our own sins. So now having faith in what He did combined with our repentance and making Jesus Lord of our lives, we are redeemed from sin!

I want to present to you that these two concepts are mutually exclusive: either God is in control or man has a free will. In other words, it is either one or the other; it is impossible for them both to be true at the same time. God gave Adam and Eve a choice in the Garden of Eden. God did not force them to eat of the Tree. Satan did not force them to eat of the Tree. They of their own free volition partook of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. But also God did not stop them from eating just like God did not stop you whenever you chose to sin. You did that of your own free will. You also face the consequences of that sin, whatever it was, unless you placed your faith in Jesus Christ for forgiveness and cleaning (1 John 1:9).

To be in control of a thing means your will and only your will will be done. If God is in control of this earth, He has got it in a mess. No, He gave man dominion over the earth just like He gave man dominion over his own life – meaning God gave man a free will. This world has been ravaged by sin and it is mankind’s fault, not God’s. It is mankind’s will being carried out in the earth when we see murder, child molestation, abortion, rape, homosexuality, sexual slavery and racism; these are never God’s will – for God is good.

God’s will will not come to pass unless we choose to say yes to His will. You see, God wants everyone to be saved (2 Peter 3:9) but that is not going to happen according to Scripture:

Mat 7:13-14 NASB  “Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it.  (14)  “For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it.

So God is not going to have all saved even though it is His will. Why? Because mankind’s will has to come into agreement with God’s will for God’s will to happen.

Instead of telling people facing trials, “God is in control,” comfort them with the wonderful Truths of the Bible. Tell them God will never leave them nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5). Tell them all things will work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). Tell them that the sufferings of this present life are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed in us (Romans 8:18).

You see, if you teach people God is in control, then you are unconsciously teaching that man does not have a free will. Man is not accountable for his sin – it was all God’s fault because, well, “God was in control.” Of course, you don’t mean that but that is what you are saying. Be careful not to just say churchy phrases without thinking and without scriptural support. To teach that everything that happens is because God made it happen is a blasphemous accusation against the Father God. Stick with Scripture not man’s religious phrases.

I want to be clear here, God is sovereign – He is the Supreme being, the greatest and highest authority ever. But God is not in control.

God’s prophetic Word will come to pass. The Bible says He watches over His Word to perform it (Jeremiah 1:12). Therefore, there is no force in Heaven, or Earth, or under the Earth that can stop His prophetic Word from coming to pass. But God is not in control.

God will help you in your trials. But God is not in control.

God determines the limits of all the happens in His creation, including what the devil can or cannot do. But God is not in control of everything that every created being does.

The amazing thing about our God is that He chose to give up control over us so that we could have a free will to chose Him. There is no love by robots. We can choose to love Him as a result of us having a free will. Yes, God is all-knowing, all-powerful, eternal and unchangeable. Yet He let us be free-agents as part of His amazing plan that will roll out before us in eternity future.

You want God in control? Start by giving Him control of your life every day. Then pray for God’s will to be done on earth as Jesus taught us.

I’m not going to be talking about how mandates forcing people to inject an experimental vaccine into their bodies may violate HIPPA. I’m not going to get into how Personal Health Information, like whether you were vaccinated or not, is private and therefore an employer may not have the right to have access to such information due to discrimination. The reason why I’m not going to get into that is because I am not a lawyer. I am a pastor. Therefore, I’m going to approach this from a biblical perspective. What does the Bible say about vaccines?

What Does The Bible Say?

The Bible says our body is sacred and holy unto God. It is set apart for the purposes of the Kingdom of God. Consider the following scriptures:

1 Corinthians 3:16-17 KJV Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

2 Corinthians 6:16 KJV And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

So God Himself dwells within us, within our bodies. Our body is a temple of God. It is to be considered special and dedicated unto the purposes of God and His Kingdom, not our earthly nation or kingdom.

Romans 12:1 KJV I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

Notice our bodies are considered holy unto God. The word holy means set apart unto God’s purposes. So we cannot do whatever we want with our bodies if we are Christians. We must do as the Lord directs us if we have declared Jesus Christ is our Lord. That’s what lordship means – I am no longer the master of my own life, Jesus is. We are not the owners of our own bodies, Jesus is.

One verse that really stands out along these lines is this:

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 KJV What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.

Not only is our body the temple of the Holy Ghost but we are not our own. We are not the lord of our own bodies, Jesus is. Government, employers, and family do not own our bodies – we don’t even own our bodies. Jesus does. We as Christians have been bought with a price, the most precious price – Jesus’ Blood at the cross.

What does that mean for you and me? We must seek God’s will concerning whether or not to take the vaccine. We will be held accountable to God whether or not we obeyed Him in this matter or not.

Some may argue that the Bible says to obey your government because they have been authorized by God (Romans 13:1-4).   However, they have been authorized by God to prevent crime and take taxes if you read the passage. They have not been authorized by God to force people to do things that are not related to crime and taxes. We know there is coming a day when the Mark of the Beast will be mandated by a world government. To take the Mark of the Beast is not only against the will of God it is a certainty of eternal damnation in a lake of fire for those that take it (Revelation 19:20). Therefore, when a government, employer, or any authority demands you disobey God, you must put God’s will and God’s Word first.

Acts 5:27-29 KJV And when they had brought them, they set them before the council: and the high priest asked them, (28) Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name [Jesus]? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man’s blood upon us. (29) Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

Obey God first and foremost, not man.

If you believe the vaccines is against God’s will for you, then you have Bible verses to stand on listed above. However, here are some more that you may consider on this subject:

Leviticus 17:14 KJV For it is the life of all flesh; the blood of it is for the life thereof: therefore I said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall eat the blood of no manner of flesh: for the life of all flesh is the blood thereof: whosoever eateth it shall be cut off. (Leviticus 17:11; Genesis 9:4; Deuteronomy 12:23)

The life of your body is your blood. Therefore, be careful what you put into your bloodstream.

Revelation 14:9-11 KJV And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, (10) The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: (11) And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

I am not saying the COVID-19 vaccine is the Mark of the Beast – it certainly is not. But what I am pointing out is that we must not take anything in or on our bodies without the Lord’s permission.

1 Corinthians 12:12 KJV For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. (Romans 12:4,5; Ephesians 5:30)

As a Christian, you are a member of Christ’s Body – the Church. We are all one body. Therefore, what you do not only affects you but it affects the Body of Christ.

1 Corinthians 7:4 KJV The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife.

We as the Bride of Christ do not have power over our own bodies.

2 Corinthians 5:10 KJV For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

We will be judged by Jesus Christ for those things done in our bodies.

1 Thessalonians 5:23 KJV And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Our bodies are to be preserved unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Mark 5:25-26 KJV And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse, (Psalm 118:8)

Man’s help may not be help at all. It may only harm you. But the Lord is the Savior not only of your spirit but also your body.

Proverbs 14:12 KJV There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

Don’t seek Truth from man; seek it from God and His Word.

Romans 12:2 KJV And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

This world is not our home. Prepare for eternity by being separate from this world’s system so that you can enter into your Master’s Kingdom.

Conclusion

I am not saying whether you should or should not the vaccine or any vaccine. I am saying examine these scriptures and pray about it for yourself. Find out what God is saying to you and do it.

Christians have the right to declare a religious exemption concerning what goes into their body. A Christian’s body is the Lord’s, not their own and certainly not the government’s or an employer’s. If you have signed an agreement when you signed on with your employer to allow for vaccines, like many in the military do, then you must make a choice whether or not to walk away if you feel God is saying not to take it. Stick with your convictions. An old saying says, “If you don’t stand for something, you will fall for anything.”
