You! Imagine your son or your daughter, or your brother or sister or someone you know. Close you eyes and thimnk about a group of kids stalking that person, and overpowering them and holding that person down kicking andf screaming, and cutting off their hair. Imagine the moments after that kid is realeased from being held down and their hair is severed, and violated and there is no way to step back. What Romney did was a truly violent act of invasion of another's body. No invasion is worse except for rape.

The single greatest fallacy that the Far Right uses against LGBTQ Civil Rights is the accusation that we are destroying the family, which could not be further from the truth. If anything Marriage Equality does more to protect the family than any other piece of legislation out there. Because we are already mothers and fathers and our families deserve equality. They deserve safety and legal protection and cultural support and acceptance. Their hate-filed fallacy has another dimension too. With it, they seek to silence all of us who are also sisters, and brothers, and daughters and sons. The Far Rights fallacy robs so many families; harms so many families today, as gay, lesbian, bi, trans, and queer children hide a part of themselves from their loved ones for fear.

A previous house owner placed it here. I am guessing it is teracotta or a similar material, and it has a great ring when struck.
The biggest issues facing Obama are not moderate voters in swing states who may be socially conservative. One repercussion of the devastating loses in 2010 helped the GOP redistrict to favor conservatives, and enact across the country, various legislation which oppresses the vote by traditionally democrat voters. Indeed, numbers are way down, especially within the African American community. LGBTQ activists need to lend all their time, talent and funds to GOTV efforts within all traditional Dem voter blocks, even where some of those voters will need to be educated about the need to support LGBTQ issues. We asked for him to evolve,he did, and now it is our turn to do our part. Are we ready? Are you ready?

There are no doubt other gay and lesbians at work there. But none are as out of the closet, articulate, and passionate, and it is these qualities that made Grenell unacceptable.
