I am pissed. I am pissed at my partner of more than 7 years, I am pissed at my freeloading family, and I am pissed mostly at myself. All I fucking try to do is help people and I get fucked over in the end. I am currently supporting 3 people in my house who refuse to get a job. I am talking mortgage, power, cable, food and miscellaneous things like gas and cigarettes. They watch me go to work day after day, week after week, and so long as all the utilities get paid and there is food on the table, there are no complaints. The second I run outta cash, I get blamed for not budgeting properly. I find this disgusting. I am better than this, I deserve better than this, I deserve a family that cares about me as much as I care about them. I deserve a partner who is not willing to throw me under the bus for the first shiny thing that comes along. Even if he did not take the final step, the intention is still there, and it hurts me in away that I did not realize was possible. My heart is truly broken, and I want to cry, scream and throw a fit, but in my soul, I know it would not accomplish anything, except more sorrow and heartbreak. I am so tired spiritually, and emotionally, I am incapable of making the right decisions and that too causes me sorrow. I used to be able to make the right choices and know what to expect, now all of that has changed, and I for certain make the wrong moves, and that is foreign to me. I ask God/higher power for help, and that seems to be a useless endeavor, and only solidifies the feeling of emptiness and aloneness, that has been permeating every fiber of my being in the last week. I do not know how much longer I can keep this all up. I feel that I might snap, and I am not sure what that means. I have a feeling it will be the exact opposite of what most people would do; I will probably just slowly and quietly shut down, both emotionally and spiritually, and stop caring about everything except for myself. I envy people who are able to look past suffering, and be so aloof and removed from situations that they are able to not care about anything. I am hoping that this all gets better, but for the time being, I just have to cut out my heart and get moving.

Update time. I know that it seems that I am lazy when it comes to this whole blogging thing, and I am. There I said it. I sometimes have the intention of a Roman conqueror, and the actual follow through of a small penguin. So, yeah it has been a while. Let me get you all up to-date. New Work is going well, I am enjoying it. I sit in an office for 8 hours a day, and speak to no one. I work on tasks that are emailed to me, and get them done, and send a request for more. Its boring as hell, but the pay and benefits are okay. There are still other options around, and I am examining all of them, closely. I do have some interesting news from old work though, and we can file it under Karma:

I got a phone call the other day from Tom, he was the service manager while I was at House O'hell AC, inc., and this is what is happening: the General Manager, the guy who made my life a living hell, has decided that its time to quit that shit. He was telling everyone that life just got real bad for him and he is 'sick', but he would not tell anyone what it was. So he leaves, and Tom gets the GM position, which is GREAT, I could not be happier for him, he is truly deserving of it. But there is a catch: Larry was not Sick, or even almost sick. He is a Liar. Come to find out that he bought a competing AC company less than 20 miles away. He is in direct violation of his Non-Compete, and general human decency. Now they are going to have to sue him to really make him pay. On top of all that, there is money, lots of money missing from the Coffers. I had to write a statement, detailing all of the money that I used while I was office manager. He was trying to hide missing money in the budgets of his poor, unsuspecting employee's. I will also say that I wish this had happened while I was still there, because now a Wonderful opportunity has opened for me, and it will be equally hard to accept, and say No to. I am so new in my position with the state that it would look bad if I left to go back, but if/when offered the position, It would be equally hard to say no to the money, and opportunity. So I will be at a cross roads when it comes time.

So in other news, my half-way better half is doing everything he needs to so he is a better person, he is now going to NA and actively in recovery, he is more attentive, and happy. But with every 'UP' in my life, there is a down as well. I do not think he is happy with me. I understand that, but there are less painful ways to go about it.

Case in point: Last night I had to help my friend call the IRS. When we called, the automated system told us they were closed. I tried *67 my number so they would not know where I was calling from, but it still managed to get us. So I got smart. I downloaded the Google Voice App, and used a Beverly Hills area code to call them from, and it worked (because I am just that smart). Any who, I decided to be a little playful with my better half, and sent him a dirty text from the new number. He responded, and seemed intrigued. Instead of outing myself to him, I wanted to see how far he would go with it. He went farther than I had expected. He started thinking that I was someone else whom we both know, and basically threw me under the bus. When I (pretending to be this other guy) pointedly asked him about our relation ship, I got the answer,

"We have bigger issues right now, whatever happens happens, life is good".

So I know where I stand in his mind. I confronted him about it before I went to bed, just to let him know. He seemed almost sad, but I am assuming because he was almost caught, not because of actually doing it. I guess it will be oh-well for now. Alright, I am going to go start working around the house. I have to, I have gotten entirely too lazy too own a house.

Nothing exciting to report from new work today, I am hoping to get upgraded to Windows 7, but that is as eventful as it got today. Did see coffee burn boy, offered to buy him a coffee, he said only if I get it from the machine...

Okay, so trying out a new Thursday, let me hear what you all think. Kinda getting tired of the whole 'twink' thing. Don't get me wrong, the good lord knows I love a cream filled twink (at least that's what my priest told me before condemning me to hell..), but every once-in-awhile, you want a beefsteak.

I had a relatively dangerous day... It started out with the coffee machine spewing hot coffee everywhere on the guy in front of me. He was cute, tight dockers, fuzzy little beard, but all the attraction goes out the door when you hit the floor screaming "oh god! its inside my shirt" and then don't have the decency to remove said shirt. I would have ~~gladly dragged him off to a dark corner and nursed his burns with my tongue~~ used a cool compress on his injuries. But alas, it was not to be. So THAT was my first escape with death (or at least horrific pain, which with my pain threshold, is usually preferred). So after I am in my office for a while I get called over to the North Tower 9th floor for more 'new hire paperwork'. I and another new girl go over to sign our crap, and after we finish we go to the 9th floor lobby and call an elevator car. We hear the most OBNOXIOUS screeching and then a huge BANG, and the doors open to this:

Going Down to HELL!!! MUWHAHAHAHAH (that's what I heard in my head)

So, yeah... we both step back as if something hideous was coming at us. Not disfigured toddler hideous, I mean one of the Kardashians standing there beckoning us to step in Hideous, yeah that bad... My co-worker tried to push the button and call another car, and the 'demon car' (as we call it now) just kept going DING-DING-DING, I am here use ME! We took the stairs...

No! not all the way down, just one flight, and we used another car that came. You think I am WALKING down NINE flights of concrete steps... I didn't see where I wrote "hot frat boy convention in the stair way"... Sheesh.

Anyway about an hour later, there is a bunch of commotion, and I walk out to see what is going on, and the fire department has shown up at the North tower... Did not cross my ferret like mind that something could have happened with the 'Demon Car'... Sure as hell enough 30 mins later I get the scoop from the building security: and this is what goes on my FB:


Yup, some stupid tricks did something stupid...

Yep, you guessed it. Someone was stupid/deranged/suicidal enough to get into that damn car.... I swear to god that there are people out there that should not be allowed to breath OR breed...

And that was escape from death # 2. Enough for me for one night, thankyouverymuch!

So that was my epic exciting day. I am doing a new twist on Thursday.. I am going to try to do 'Thick Thursday' see how it works out.

New Year, New Job, New lifestyle Changes...

I do not make new years resolutions. I feel that they are counter productive, and create and unnecessary feeling of pressure around oneself. I make changes as I am ready for them, and ready to be the person I want to be. I started this little blog in the hopes that it would allow me a chance to express myself in a open and free way. I have not completely fulfilled my expectations of this blog. I will start to do better. So now it is time for some updates.

On December 3rd, after less than a month being in my new position at 'Satan's house O' hell Air Conditioning' I was brought in to the managers office, and informed that the contract with the Big Orange home improvement store that my position is dependent upon had cancelled. I was shocked, amazed and ecstatic. I was free, I WAS FREE. I know, 1 week before my birthday and 3 weeks before Christmas, usually one does not leap for joy when they are fired. However, if you have ever read this blog or just glanced through to get to the pictures, you will know that I HATED my job, my Employer and was constantly looking for a newer, shinier job. Well, after about a week of unemployment, I was offered a GREAT position with the state. One of those jobs that you apply for in October, interview twice for in November and obtain a conditional offer of employment in December, pending a background check, fingerprints, psych-evaluation, etc. I started Friday, and I love it. Not going into detail, but it is with the department of Revenue. I wanted everyone (crickets) to know what was going on, and I promise to resume normal publishing ASAP.

For now, here is wishing everyone a wonderful New Year. I hope that you get everything that you ever wanted, and more. Remember, that if you continually strive for what you want, you will get it, and if you don't you will know you tried.

So, it has been a while....

Hello!
      I know that it has been a while. Boy do I have updates for you! Lets start first with my Job. Yes, I am still employed by House 'O Hell Air Conditioning!

Why!?!?! I hear you scream at the computer. Why would someone who so obviously HATES his job, people he works with and the position, continue to torture himself?

Because I am into pain and Sadomasochism! (But that's a post for another day!)

Because 3 days before I was planning my terminus at HOHAC, I was offered a new position.

The general manager asked me into his office, and said 'I want to play a game..' .   Wait, no that was a nightmare I had. Never mind. My GM would never speak directly to me.

I was informed via a thrice forwarded email that I had been mentioned as the only person with the skill, determination, and right level of insanity to turn one of our programs around. I will explain the job and the pros and cons to this upgrade, and I will list them Henceforth:

My new position requires me to coordinate the program inside the "the home improvement store". Yes I am being particularly elusive. But here is the jist of of it:

Most people do not know that the T.H.I.S offers HVAC services. Repair, Replacement, and tune ups. Our job inside the store is to make sure the customers know about these services. You can pay for anything you need concerning your Air Conditioner or heating needs with your T.H.I.S credit card. I employ people to walk around the store and speak to customers about what we do. We are contracted with the corporate office of T.H.I.S, and there are certain expectations that are expected. We are expected to produce 50% of the HVAC revenue inside the store. Each individual store is expected to also produce 50%. It is a continuous battle with them, and my employees to produce, produce, produce.

I also will qualify for a nice $ bonus at the end of each month, and quarter if all of my stores meet their numbers.

Pros:

1) Pay increase. From Hourly to Salary, baby!
2) Insane amount of Independence. I work when I want, how I want. Mostly from home.
3) I report to 2 people, who could care less about this program. So it makes my job all the easier. (and also I can play them against each-other!)
4) I get paid mileage.$.51 a mile, to be exact.Considering my territory stretches from Titusville to Windermere, and Ormond Beach to Poinciana, I am driving a crazy amount of miles.

Cons:

1) One of the people I report to is someone I dislike. I dislike him in a personal way, though. Kind of like alligators. I don't mind alligators, but when one is trying to chomp on me or my dogs, I tend to dislike them.

He is a Mormon, I am not.

He thinks that I should denounce my homosexuality, and live as a celibate.I do not.

His managerial skills are comparable to Casey Anthony's parenting skills. (Too Soon?)

He is unable to receive calls while in his temple. Not sure if this is a reception issue or what, Need to ask him about that.

2) I primarily work the week-ends. :( Thursday through Monday. This is sad, as it lowers my chance of Drunken frat boy- encounters, but I figure any frat boy drunk on a Monday or Tuesday is more my type anyway (my type being the drunk ones)...

3) I have to manage, hire, fire, and ensure production of up to 10 people. For 20 different locations. It is unimaginably hard, first to find people who are not crack addicted assholes. I am amazed that I keep hearing people on the radio and TV complaining about unemployment. Not in my corner of the world. The only people who seem to call for an interview are people who found my add in a truck stop restroom, or on crackheads.com. I used my personal cell # for both of those ad's so I know that's not the case.

Meanwhile in the world of Aaron:

Marie (my prison buddy) is still insanely annoying. She calls 10 fucking times a week. I am trying to be understanding with her. I am having a tough time with it. She can complain a lot, and is really upset about all things. But it is just her being her. I continue to drive her mother up there every other Sunday.

        I (we) bought me (us) a new car. It is a nice and shiny 2011 Ford Fusion SEL V6. Lots of Factory warranty to go. I am enjoying it, but I can only drive it 4 days a week. The half-way better half drives it, too. We get to share.

On that front things have not improved. I find myself attracted to pretty much anyone but him, and I think it is his personality and disposition that has turned me off. I am getting more and more flirty and out with people. I was flirting with a pharmacist last night, and found the whole experience enjoyable.

I had an ouch moment a few nights ago, when my best friend (Tiffanie) smacked me with a dose of reality that only special friends have the ability to...

         Me: (showing her a pic of a random guy from work) This is my type. I would enjoy this...

        Tiffanie: Anyone who shows you attention is your type. You would enjoy anyone with a pulse...

        Me: Ouch, bitch.

        Tiffanie: Honey Badger don't give a shit.

That about sums up our relationship.

So today was yet another day at Satan's A/C, inc. Ya ever meet those people who HATE their jobs? I mean like, with a passion... The ones that have a list? (You know what list I am talking about, don't play dumb!) My list is called the SWAT list. That means that I can probably get everyone in the top 3 before SWAT takes my ass out.

I revised that list today. That was the kind of Day it was. I worked 74 hours the week before last. I was so excited that NJD (New Junior Dispatcher) was going to be able to pick up a lot of the slack, and today those hopes were crushed. They put a freeze on any non-essential overtime. So apperently, since I am ABLE to manage the entire office by my self, it means that any additional help would be 'Non Essential'...

I am not sure how I could have avoided getting myself in this mess. Maybe after the 65th hour I should have just shot someone (on my list, of course) in the knee-cap, as a warning shot. Maybe then they would have realized what they have done to me. Maybe not. It still would have felt good. I imagine it like this:

'Thank you for calling XXX Orlando this is Aaron, Please hold while I re-load'

Has a certain ring to it. Okay. Okay, I know, not funny. Many people have died in terrible workplace shootings. And While I would never, ever hurt anyone in a non-defensive way, I am still able to jest about it.

Friday, Fratboys, & Mitt Romney

So..... the door is open and I am about to JUMP. After more than 2 years with XYZ (we'll call my place of employ that for now) I have informed the service manager that I am getting ready to leave. Knowing that what I do takes a ton of time to learn I have given him as much information as I can as to when I will be leaving. The simple answer is as soon as someone puts an offer on paper that is better than what I have now, and that won't be hard.

The job has become consuming. What started as a 35-40 hour work week quickly morphed into 'enhanced-full time' (as my HR director affectionately summed it up), and it has stayed there without slowing down for 3 months now. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the overtime pay, but I hate the fact that I have not seen the outside of my house in the sunlight for more than a month. I haven't mowed my own lawn, or done ANY yard work for the simple fact that I leave before the sun comes up and return home as it is setting. I understand that sometimes work is work, and those are just the sacrifices we make, but I am done. I will have the opportunity to work like a dog when I get my Law Degree. Until then I need to live a little.

I know, I know, I know, I have not posted anything, not that there is anyone to read, But gimme a break. I clocked more than 65 hours this week. Finding time to pee is hard, let alone time to post. I do find it a relaxing start to the day, however, and will be more diligent in the future.

Good Morning! I hope everyone is able to rub the sleep out of their eyes, and brush the Vodka residue from their teeth, Because it is MONDAY!

Not only is it Monday, it is the first day of October, and in Florida that means some things:

1) The average daytime temperature drops from 90+ to a cool 83! Who-Hoo! (Don't knock it, you haven't lived yet until you burn your taint on the car seat On Halloween)

2) Two people who have nothing in common with anyone here make Florida base camp, and every commercial that interrupts Honey-Boo-Boo Child is either trying to scare the shit outta the old people, or scare the shit outta religious people! Hold on to your asses, its going to be a wild ride!

I, having never been a person who regards mornings as particularly hard or unpleasant, know that my some of my fellow brethren don't necessarily feel the same way as I do. So to really open your eyes in a way that Folgers can't I present Muscle Monday:

Weeklong Update!

Okay, so it has been almost a week since I have been able to post anything...

I have worked more than 60 hours this week, and I am exhausted. It is the end of the quarter, end of the month, and we have to get our books in order for an account audit. We are either about to acquire another company, or be bought out. Only a few people are in the know, but they are not talking.

I also have been dealing with a few issues on the home front that have kept me from posting, too. My halfway better half decided that he was going to try and mix alcohol and Ambien as a desert... Well that did not work out according to plans and I ended up in the ER with him, getting a saline flush of the system...

I have also been informed that my account has been rejected from Adsense due to 'Adult' content... I have reviewed what I have posted and I PERSONALLY see no issues with it, but if they want adult, they're going to get it...

Muscle Monday & weekend update!

So my friends.... (cricket...cricket) It has been an interesting couple of days...

I cant tell you how much fun the weekend was. Boss Man and I (the male equivalent of Miranda from The Devil Wears Prada) had a huge blowout...

He seems to think that just having a job is reason enough to be happy...

Me thinks differently....

I understand that the workplace is volatile right now, and, that it may take me time to find another position with another firm; however, I think that I could land another job in 2 weeks.

And I am TRYING! So if anyone knows of any jobs in the Greater Orlando area, fill me in.

The blow out seems to have arisen from the fact that I am not happy working all day every day (except Sunday) and decided to complain about the fact that I have followed this pattern through all of May, June, July, and August, with little or no help. I also think that it is unfair to say that someone should only have to work full time, (when in fact) I have had to work easily more than 55-60 hours a week.

The fact that my management team has a poor hiring practices and seems willing (eager, almost) to pick up the first person who reply's to an ad, should NOT affect my daily life outside of my Scheduled work hours. Yet I find it doing exactly that... I am on the phone with the call center in Houston, I get direct connected at all hours of the day on my days off, I have to deal with annoying calls from incompetent people who should never, ever, have been hired in the first place. And to top it all off, when they do decided to fire said person, I am stuck holding all the slack, and having to scramble and pick up all of the left over pieces of some God-forsaken nightmare.

I am and always will be eternally grateful to the company that I currently work for. They gave me not only a job, but by extension, my life back.

When you spend so long unemployed, looking desperately for a good job prior to unemployment running out, and you struggle day in and day out to try and find some means of self-worth daily life becomes hard. On the flip side it is Damn near impossible (unless you've been there) to envision the happiness that comes with the phone call and news that you have been selected.

I will owe a lot to my current place of employ, least of all the life's lessons I have picked up, but time has a way of changing the views through which you see life. Somethings become less important (just having a job) and others take a more prominent spot (empowering and bettering yourself), these are the gifts that time has blessed us with. And I fully intend not to waste my gifts.

I really do wish everyone I work with currently the best of luck. I am, however, going to be moving on.

I will update as details dictate, but when it happens, you will know it.

Hello ladies and gentlemen! Welcome to the weekend! Today has been a great day here at House O'hell air conditioning! Running the office all by myself, again! But new junior dispatcher starts on Monday Morning! I am so very excited!

I read a really really great article which I will post here when I get home. It was a very revealing look inside Mitt Romney's thoughts, especially those on poor/underprivileged people (he refers specifically to "those people").

I don't have a car elevator, a private Boeing 737, or a horse that ran in the 2012 Olympics, or a shit-ton of money to throw at every problem that arises. I have my own hard working hands, and the satisfaction of knowing that what is mine is truly, unquestionably mine. Bought, paid for, and owned through my own hard work and dedication!

Happy Hump Day!

Those of you following my work saga will know that the 'lady' (read: street walker, with tighter clothes) we hired to fill the position of junior dispatcher was not working out.

By not working out I mean SERIOUSLY not working out.

Like hamsters and snakes co-habitating, not working out!

Like Mitt Romney and a hidden camera not working out.

Hanging up on customers, being dishonest to co-workers, and snapping at the other office staff. She snapped at the wrong one yesterday.

Our General Manager asked her to correct a mistake he had made; she looked at him in front of God and everybody and said (and I am quoting) 'Dat don't sound like my problem, it sound like yours'.

Like a developmentally challenged lamb being led to slaughter. There was a brief 3 seconds when I thought all would be okay, The GM asked 'what did you say?'.

An escape route! Back pedal! Beg forgiveness, blame it in the crack you are smoking! ANY THING!

What she said: 'you heard me, I didn't stutter'...

So I get to pull 12 hour days until we are yet again able to fill the position!

Just finished all the homeworks! Now it is time for the sleep!
Got everything I set out to do today done, feel accomplished. I am also now the owner of a beautiful 19' bow rider. Needs some work, but like everything else, tender loving care and time can make anything awesome!

I go back to work in the am, and I can only imagine. I was off all day today, and I was ONLY called 6 times by Ms. Experience. I swear, I don't have a resentment towards the fact that she works half as hard as I do, gets paid more, and is able to SLIDE by every task 'cause she knows that I will inevitably pick up all of her slack... No, not at All.

Favorite Quotes from my trusty co-worker this week include:

" Ah axed him 'bout dat, he said he done gone and did it yesterday"

" don't no-one tell me I gotts to do dat ereryday" (when asked about the DAILY sales report)

The Job Hunt continues, and if they think it is bad when I am off for 1 Monday, imagine how bad it will be when I no longer answer the phone for their questions.

Had a great time last night out with the other-half. It's amazing what just spending time with someone can do. You almost forget the reasons you two are together, and then you spend quality time together and voila! . Not saying there are no problems, just that they get put into perspective!

Saw a cool FB post, thought I would share. I try not to get too political, but it makes a good point.

Went grocery shopping today, I either need to do it all the time, or never again! The cost of food is ridiculous!

Friday Round Up!

So it is the end of the week, almost, I have to pull a Saturday shift at House O'hell Air Conditioning! But it has been a good week overall!

So I am shocked and appalled that a United States Ambassador has been killed while serving his country, and my heart and prayers go out to his friends family and colleagues. Also killed in the attack were 3 embassy staff, one of whom was a former Navy Seal. This unprovoked attack on our interest needs a swift response, and a decisive counter attack. The world must know that we will NOT stand idly by as our nation is attacked!

Manic Monday...

So, I've included a picture of my 'work-station-area' (my overly linguistic HR rep calls it that, I call it 'prison without bars'). This was taken at 9:00 am, that was a good look for the area, not too cluttered. I spent 11 hours there today. And yet I still have questions as to why I have problems with my sanity...

In other news: my bestest and longest friend went to the ER for 'tummy discomfort', 3 hours later we are in the surgical waiting room trying to figure out how long an appendix surgery should take... (1.5 hours, if they're near bursting, apparently) She is good, feeling a lot better, and looking forward to getting back to normal, (which I keep telling her is an un-attainable goal for any friend of mine).

Work sucked, again. But I have a job, I have a loving family, and I have a pulse. So I guess it could be worse...

Going to go eat dinner and help the halfway-better-half (ya' like that?) with his math homework. Okay and goodnight.

Long Time.

So, I have been neglectful. I have not been on in a while. So To catch up: We have moved. I am now a homeowner. The joys and fun associated with this are almost overwhelming. For instance, I have been dropped by 3 major insurance companies because I live on a lake, and I also live in Florida... They foresee a problem if the lake rises or a Hurricane shows up. Also, the toilets started gurgling a few days ago, and so we had the septic pumped out. Well it happened again, and now I find out I am in need of a new drain field. For those of you reading this from a civilized part of the world, please allow me to explain: ALL of the water from the house (baths, toilets, sinks, washer) drain into a very large underground tank. The waste (i.e last nights dinner) settles to the bottom, and the water is SUPPOSED to leech off in to a leech field or drain field. Well, My tank just fills up with a bunch of waste and water and needs to be pumped twice in a a matter of 3 weeks. In unrelated news the difficulties with the better half have reached such a stagnant point that I worry it may not make it through the holidays. I am working the equivalent of 2 peoples jobs, and it is starting to wear on us. I am tired of the lack of intimacy and affection. It is very hard to maintain a relationship when only one person seems to be trying. Eventually I am going to run out of fucks-to-give. School is going great, and by that I mean I am not enrolled right now. I am still on a financial-aide suspension due to a 2 failed classes. One more term to go. I COULD have paid to go, but I figured my money was better spent on coke and broke frat boys...

Political Tensions are heating up. All these people trying to find better and more efficient ways to spend OUR money on Their pet projects. The republicans have now officially nominated a man who from all outward appearances seems to be from the planet Zanadu. I am incapable of relating to someone who says that "if you want to go to School or Start your own business, borrow money from your parents." My dad left when I was 12 and my mom lost what retirement she did have in 2008 because someone at her place of employ decided AIG was the way to go. I am a registered Republican who is probably going to vote blue for the first time in my life. I can only imagine what my grandparents are thinking.

Shit if that perturbs them, they might want to take a seat for the whole 'man on man gay sex thing'....

I have Mentioned Marie on here before. Hard to think that in 3 days, it will be the 1 year anniversary of her incarceration. I remember vividly, standing in front of the Judge, pleading with him to be lenient on someone whom I believed then and still do, is innocent of any true crime.I drive Marie's mother up to the prison to see her about twice a month (yet another Sunday away from my already strained relationship). We went up today, and it is usually okay, but everyone was in a blah mood. It is hard to confront that this is the new reality for them. I try to help in any way possible, but it never seems enough. I try to understand Marie's point of view (looking at everything you worked for slip between someone's fingers while you stare helplessly through the bars), but she can honestly be demanding.

So I have a new position at the wonderful company where i work. I am the office manager/ lead dispatcher. Let me put some words together here for you: Summer, Florida, A/C Company. 'nuff said. Between May and the last week of August, I averaged about 60ish hours. It did not help that they fired Junior Dispatcher 3 weeks after I started, So I was doing two peoples positions. They JUST last month hired a full time regular dispatcher. She lied. She lied. She lied. On her resume and in the application, she stated that she had extensive dispatch experience. LIAR! LIAR! POOR FITTING DENIM KNOCK-OFFS ON FIRE! We come to find out only a week or two after her arrival, that her 'dispatch experience' consisted of answering the phone at a 3 member A/C repair place. We have more than 30 employees, 4 phone lines that ring DIRECTLY on her DESK, and a Nextel radio that keeps us in touch with the the servicemen in the field. To say she is out of her depth is an understatement. She has as about as much connection to dispatch/office work, as I do to the Black Panther movement. So I was told to prepare for her imminent departure this week. Since I am an 'OPS manager' ( I manage the operation) I alone cannot chose to fire her. SO I have given this task to MY manager.

Okay, I will let whoever 2 people and a confused grandmother looking to buy school supplies relax. I am going to eat, and read MY favorite blogs, which you may locate on the home page.

Birthday, Life, & moving.

So the day after my birthday I find out that the people who hold the mortgage on our home (the owners) will be moving back in at the end of January, aparently the house they bought in Arizona is being forclosed on. I am being bought out of my lease. So now we all have to find a spot to move to. I know that this is not the end of the world, and that there are starving children in Ethiopia, but it still sucks for me, here now. I just wish that it would be ok. But Like time says, we will be fine as long as we are with each other. I am going to go pick up Olive garden for dinner, and I will be back on to complain, wine and moan later.

So it is 2 days before I turn 28. I am not sure why this has bothered me SO FUCKING MUCH! I want to scream. Its like I am Turning 50 in my head, and I have to go pick out gravestones. I am RELATIVELY young. I have my HEALTH, and I have.... a family that I am fairly certain will not try and kill me in my sleep. There are cons, of course. Sex life has not improved, and we are slowly closing in on 5 years together. He spends more time talking with other guys that he does me. We have nothing in common, (I hate Britney Spears, and he could not name 5 politicians if you put a gun to his head!)
My friend is in Prison, until 2016. I think the last time I was on here I mentioned that she was facing 20 years. She got 5. It really does suck because she is a great person, and I can think of 1 other people who deserve to be in her place, but aren't. Tiffanie is upset that I cant come up and see her, and it bothers me that I have to plan my life around everyone else. The airline tickets are like 60 bucks. But if I disapear, the world will come crashing down. School will be out this week for the winter (READ:Christmas) break. I am looking forward to attempting some relaxation. I think my life would be better if I did not have to worry about my job every fucking day. It is REDICULOUS that I am threatened with unemployment all the time. Seriously, I keep winning sales person of the month every month, and I still am not doing well enough for them. They should rename the award to "least shittiest amongst the group".
I do like some of the people I work with, Ozzie. He makes the days go by. His daughter is really cute. It is neat to see someone be able to light up with happiness when they talk about someone they love. I don't have that.
