बड़े बड़े ग़म है ज़माने में
चोटे बहुत है सभीको
सभी बंद है, अपने ही
कैद खानों में
कभी कभी नजाने क्यों
अपना ही ग़म औरो से
बड़ा महसूस होता है
नजाने क्यों हमें
ज़िन्दगी में
छोटी बातों पर, अफ़सोस होता हैं
क्या मैं इतना खोखला हो गया हूँ
के मैं जीने का ढंग,
या जीने का मतलब ही भूल चूका हूँ
डर के साये, उनको मैं कब तक देखा करूँगा
कब, कब मैं उनसे हसके बातें किया करूँगा
पता हैं मुझे, मुझे बादल कितने पसंद हैं
सुन्हेरे बादल, मुस्कुराते बादल
नीले आसमां मैं,
एक फ़रिश्ते के पंख जैसे मखमली बादल

वोह बादलों के पीछे,
वोह चमकती हुई रौशनी,

रुख्सार

ज़ीनत ने रुख्सार से पूछा -
आज परवाने का ख़त ना आया
सुनते ही ये, रुख्सार का दिल कप कपाया
रुख्सार दौड़कर खिड़की के पास गयी
और परवाने की राह तकने लगी

चाँद की रौशनी में, नीले आकाश में,
तारे चहक रहे थे
ज़मीं के सन्नाटे में, वह चहककर
रुख्सार से यह कह रहे थे -
परवाने का भरोसा ना करना रुख्सार
परवाना तुम्हारे प्यार के काबिल नहीं
परवाना आशिक नहीं -
परवाना तो बस एक भँवरा है
जिसे प्यार आधा ही पता हैं

रुख्सार की बढती बेचैनी देखकर
ज़ीनत मुस्कुराई
कहा उसने -
नज़र आता है प्यार प्रेमी के आँखों में
सच्चा रूह में समां जाता है
झूठा -
जिस्म पर घिनोनी खुशबू
बनकर रह जाता है
परवाना सच्चा है या झूठा
यह तो वक़्त ही बताएगा

भीड़ में गूम हो जाने का डर
राह में अकेला पड़ जाने का डर

कभी कोई रूठ जाने का डर
खुद पर से यकी छूठ जाने का डर?!
क्यों? क्यों है यह डर ?!

दिन ढल जाने के बाद
शाम रुक जाने के बाद
रात की काली परछाई जैसा
कभी चुपके से दिल में आ जाता है यह डर

आकर इन नन्ही धड्कनोको बढ़ाता
रह रहकर इस दिल को तड़पाता
बेचारा दिल यह सह जाता
कितना कुछ कर जाता यह डर

दिल को क्या समझाए ?
तुम धड़कना छोड़ दो ?
मन की इस पीड़ा के आगे
शर्मसार होकर घुटने टेक दो ?
चेहरे पर आंसू लाकर वहीँ उन्हें सुक जाने दो?

माना यह जंग इतनी आसान नहीं
डर के आगे बेबस हो जाए इसलिए इंसान नहीं
यह डर तो बस मन का एक वहम है
हमसे छल करना ही इसका करम है
