Thoughts of a Stripey Person

Yup it's me...

noreply@blogger.com (Unknown) — Sun, 02 Jun 2013 13:12:00 +0000

Sorry I haven't written in a while, you know how it goes, you eat, take a nap, and before you know it your whole day is gone! My mom, who loves me very much bought me something cool on Etsy. I love to burrow under blankets or whatever there is when I take my naps, so she bought me this cool little sack to sleep in. It took me a while to figure it out, but I love it now, the thing is keeping my little brother, Spike out of it!

I patiently wait

with my paws crossed waiting for someone to say something really enlightening, the problem is that I already know WAY more than everyone else!

She thinks...

she's going out to the Studio to work. My mom thinks she has her day planned, but I am holding her down so she wont be able to get up. Mighty Murray strikes again!

I would help...

noreply@blogger.com (Unknown) — Tue, 10 Apr 2012 04:24:00 +0000

My mom was feeling very overwhelmed today with all that she has to do plus all the promotion she has to do for her website etc. I told her I would be happy to do that stuff for her, I'm home all day anyhow, usually just curled up where ever there's a flat surface. I could keep up with the blog posts and all that. I told her if I got stuck on the words, I could ask dad, but I think I spell better than he does so we'll have to find a better plan!

Little brother

noreply@blogger.com (Unknown) — Fri, 06 Apr 2012 13:28:00 +0000

I am just sitting in my mom's lap, as always, and little brother feels like he has to horn in on MY action! I tolerate it, for now, although it's all either of us can do to not slip off mom's lap, it's only so big!

Gardenia and Rose Goat Milk Soap - $11.50

noreply@blogger.com (Unknown) — Sun, 18 Mar 2012 01:34:00 +0000

This is a pair of two of our gentle, fragrant Goat Milk Soaps.

The Gardenia is really special, it's a soft clean smelling gardenia, rather than the pungent version that is so common, you'll really enjoy this one!

The Black Tea & Rose soap is really nice, it's fragrant without being over done. It's an old fashioned rose scent and really nice. We added creamy Shea Butter t...

Mom's home

noreply@blogger.com (Unknown) — Fri, 16 Mar 2012 21:26:00 +0000

My mom didn't go to the Farmer's Market today to sell her handmade soap, it was a real treat for me, I spent as much time as possible curled up in mom's lap. This is livin'!

Sorry guys...

noreply@blogger.com (Unknown) — Thu, 08 Mar 2012 14:40:00 +0000

My mom has been crazy busy so hasn't been keeping you up to date very well. She assures me that she'll do better! I hope you all are doing well!

It's hard work...

noreply@blogger.com (Unknown) — Tue, 17 Jan 2012 02:23:00 +0000

being me! I am just a love sponge and it wears me out!

Inspired by ME!

noreply@blogger.com (Unknown) — Fri, 23 Dec 2011 02:40:00 +0000

As you know, my mom is a soapmaker, that's actually how she keeps me and little brother in cat food :-) So She made a soap, inspired by me,the stripey one! She called it "Murray" and it says on the label that it's the cat's pajamas, really bad pun! Here's a picture of what it looks like, she was going for a stripey-ish look. It's a jasmine/tiarre flower blend.

Happy Halloween!

Lady And The Tramp - The Siamese Cat Song

noreply@blogger.com (Unknown) — Sun, 16 Oct 2011 23:45:00 +0000

I have been very busy lately trying to teach my brother Spike, how to be a good kitty, he only has one speed: Naughty. To his defense, he is part Siamese, like these guys, guess that's a good excuse!

Pardon me, .....

cute little me

My mom says there are only few things cuter than a sleeping me, I'm inclined to agree!

excercise

noreply@blogger.com (Unknown) — Wed, 07 Sep 2011 22:52:00 +0000

Yes that's me, I'm on my back doing "toe-touches". They tell me I"m getting fatter, I need to do more red-dot chasinging I think. My mom was very surprised to see me laying on my back in her lap, what can I say, the mood just came over me!

he's always up to something

noreply@blogger.com (Unknown) — Thu, 18 Aug 2011 04:22:00 +0000

My little brother, the humans think he's adorable, I do too most of the time. It's when I'm sitting in someone's lap and he comes over for no good reason and bites me in the ear, I tell him to knock it off and the human gets mad and we BOTH get kicked out of the lap! Well, he is pretty cute, I guess I can forgive him. He's quite at home in the bathroom sink as you can see!

corn

noreply@blogger.com (Unknown) — Wed, 03 Aug 2011 15:48:00 +0000

My mom's friend brought her some fresh Brentwood Sweet Corn yesterday from the Concord Farmers Market. She was taking that green stuff off the outside and my little brother (as always) was acting in a most undistinguished manner, he was chasing those green things all over the house! Man did he make a mess. Oh to be a kitten!

Spikes new favorite thing to do

noreply@blogger.com (Unknown) — Tue, 26 Jul 2011 23:28:00 +0000

Little brother has just discovered that the table cloth on the table in the dining room can come off! So, when no one is looking, he pulls it all the way off, and there it is all wadded up on the floor! Of course my people know that I would never do anything that undignified!

General Hospital

noreply@blogger.com (Unknown) — Tue, 26 Jul 2011 02:53:00 +0000

My humans watch this show on TV called General Hospital. I have seen it although they think I have no clue about it. My official stance is that it's sentimental hogwash. (although I hope Sonny and Carly get back together!)

A customer of my mom's at the Farmers Market was asking her why we go to Antioch Veterinary Hospital. Mom used to be a Registered Veterinary Technician before she made/sold handmade soap for a living. She told the lady that having worked there, she knows firsthand the kind of care we get, and all the Doctors and staff are really nice to Spike and me. She also told the lady how they are AAHA certified, that's like having a Michelin Star for a restaurant. If you live in the area, me and Spike highly recommend taking your fur-let in there! www.antiochvet.com

Mushpot

noreply@blogger.com (Unknown) — Wed, 20 Jul 2011 16:55:00 +0000

Mom says I'm a mushpot, I'm not sure what that is, I think it has to do with my regal looks!

The deed is done

noreply@blogger.com (Unknown) — Tue, 19 Jul 2011 04:13:00 +0000

My little brother got his "tutoring" done today. He's sleeping right now although he was running around like his tail was on fire most of the day! My boy Cody pointed out that Spike can actually run much faster now, he's more aerodynamic! Feel better little brother!
