You've been sitting in front of that monitor all day. You should reward yourself. It's time for an adventure, don't you think? And so... it's time for another awesome LOVES challenge and this one might be the biggest, coolest, mind-boggingly craziest one yet!!!

Your challenge is to design a tee based on the concept of travel. Be it a tropical vacation, a walk in the park, a trip back in time, a car ride to outer space - anything your venturesome imagination can dream up we want to see it come to life! Your sweet travel related design could net you an actual trip... to ICELAND! (Seriously, the winner gets a trip to Iceland, we're not kidding!)

Icelandair is providing 2 round trip tickets plus hotel accommodations and a Golden Circle Iceland tour! IES (International Education of Students) Abroad wants to extend your stay (or get you to a gateway), Calexico will provide some original music for you to enjoy (based on your design!) and Dakine has your bag hook up! You only have until October 22nd to submit your designs so...

Richard Minino!! Gallery Opening Party on Friday, October 10th, from 7pm-9pm

HorseBites is the design and artwork of Orlando, Florida based artist Richard Minino. His inspiration includes the juxtaposition of the enchantment forced upon him growing up in the shadow of Mickey Mouse and the disenchantment of punk rock (also very near and dear to his heart). His work explores the true meaning of aggression and violently shoes the mind into another realm of the imagination. His most recent work revolves around music with delightfully tacky, aggro works ranging from CD layouts, t-shirt designs, advertisements and tour posters. He has worked closely with bands like Less Than Jake and New Mexican Disaster Squad.

Come on down to the Threadless Gallery!!! October 10th- 7:00pm to 9pm.....The HorseBites Gallery will run till November 5th!! If you can't make the opening, you can still visit the gallery every day during regular business hours!! :)

Threadless Select is excited and proud to be a part of the little black dress month-long pop-up boutique at The Sunset, 8570 W. Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood.

little black dress, since its inception in 2002 has raised valuable funds for charity through its self-titled celebration of the "little black dress" where fashion icons and buzz-worthy new designers were asked to submit their version of this universal wardrobe essential. In a new twist on the original one night event they are now expanding to a four-week pop-up boutique to tour three cities. A closely edited mix of luxury clothing, streetwear, accessories, and home decor will be sold to benefit the selected charities.

For this Los Angeles stop, well be selling select Selects (!), sharing the space with a wide variety of innovative fashion designers and retailers including Vivienne Westwood, Jeffrey Sebelia, Fluevog, Eton of Sweden, and MIMOBOT. If that wasn't cool enough, all of our proceeds will be going to local charities The Elijah Kelley Foundation Fund, The Saban Free Clinic, Junior League, and Dress For Success!
