Well its been a while, but we finally have a new video to share, El Cazador. This was made as part of the 48 hour film project, where we are given a genre, character, line of dialogue, prop, and 48 hours to complete a 4-7 minute (plus credits) short film. We were the lucky group who were given "Musical or Western" as a genre. Check it out!

After taking a month off, we are back with our latest film, Nayvan's Revenge. The story of a Jedi on a quest, with only one obstacle in his way. Watching this will surely get you into the Stars Wars mood, just in time for Episode I in 3-D (In theaters Feb 10th!).

Since we do not have a movie for you this week, we figured we could at least tell you what cinematic adventures will bring us to our local multiplex theaters.

MI:4 http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1229238/ & Sherlock Holmes 2 ttp://www.imdb.com/title/tt1515091/ - I know these were released in December, but we have not seen either yet and enjoyed the previous films in the series.

Loosies http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1568337/ -Not usually a movie you expect from a blog that mainly focuses on action movies, but the production company and director (Michael Corrente) are based out of RI, so why not give some local love. Plus we enjoyed Brooklyn Rules and Outside Providence (Both directed by Corrente).

Underworld: Awakening http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1496025/ - Kate Beckinsale returns after a one movie hiatus, and we hope she brings the pain! The first one was awesome, two and three, not so much...

Red Tails http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0485985/ - While the story seems familiar, Lucasfilm is producing this, and from the previews, the air battles look to be awesome!

The Gray http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1601913/ - This looks almost as good as The Edge http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0119051/. Enough said.

With 2012 is shaping up to be one of the best years for movies of all time, we decided to put out our list of our 12 most anticipated movies of the year. Lets hope Hollywood doesn't let us down.

12. Battleship (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1440129/) - Growing up in RI, with friends and family working at Hasbro, we can not help but be excited when our favorite games come to life. The trailers looks amazing, we just hope this is more Transformers and less GI Joe: Rise of Cobra...

11. The Bourne Legacy (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1194173/) - With a new director and cast, we are very interested to see where this movie goes. Will Jeremy Renner top Matt Damon?

9. Safe House (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1599348/) - We are suckers for movies like this, and Denzel never disappoints!

8. The Amazing Spider-Man (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0948470/) - We truly hope Mark Webb does justice to the Spiderman story so we can forget about the Sam Raimi versions. Who casts Topher Grace as Venom (No offense Topher, but your just not a good bad guy).

7. Prometheus (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1446714/) - Sci-fi nerds seem to have this at the top of their lists of 2012. We loved Alien, and are interested to see what Ridley Scott does with this, but not enough to put it in our top 5.

6. Wrath of the Titans (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1646987/) - The first one received mixed reviews, but we thought it was a great action/ popcorn movie.

5. The Gangster Squad (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1321870/) - Gangster movies are very hit and miss. But with the talent in front and behind the camera, this looks to be one of the years best.

4. Skyfall (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1074638/) - Remember when there was an outrage over Daniel Craig being cast as James Bond? Neither do we, because his James Bond is right up there with Sean Connery. With a great supporting cast, and Sam Mendes behind the Camera, has the ingredients to be one of the best movies of the Franchise, not counting Never Say Never Again (Pun intended).

3. The Avengers (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0848228/) - Iron man + Captain America + Thor + Incredible Hulk + Joss Whedon = Minds being blown. We were huge fans of all four movie franchises (The Ed Norton Hulk, not the Eric Bana Hulk), so we plan on being there opening weekend for this!

2. The Dark Knight Rises (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1345836/) - Christopher Nolan has never made a bad movie. We expect his streak to keep going with this. Batman Begins and the Dark Knight are two of our favorite movies of all time, and we expect this one will be added to that list!

The night this opens, the three of us, along with a few of our closest friends, are going out to dinner ordering the biggest steaks we can, barley cooking them, drinking a few beers, heading to the moves (With our friend Mike being the Designated Driver, of course), and watching what will be the greatest 80's action movie ever made! Stalone! Willis! Norris! Statham! Van Damme! SCHWARZENEGGER!!! Hell yeah!!!

First I would like to wish everyone a great holiday and happy new year! So it's been a while since we have posted and I guess I will blame that on all the filming we have done the past few days. We have been working on two films, the first is a sequel to neighborly duty and the second a bad ass star wars themed fight between a sith lord and Jedi . Look out for NB2 this Thursday!

So today Kevin and I met up with Mike for lunch at Albies to discuss our next film. It has been a few years since we have had lunch their so it was nice to go back, even though the smell of the frialator was a bit much... We left smelling like french fries. But I digress. So we sat their thinking about what to film next. My vote was for an action flick called the "Dependable's" but this is something that might take a few more actors and a bit more time. Kevin wanted to film 10 videos in one day... the story line meant little to him as long as he could add special effects. Mike had his mind set on filming a Star Wars themed battle with light sabers even though we had already done one like this. His argument was that it was for his 6 year old nephew. Friday the battle begins! Look out for this action flick sometime in the next weeks! Don't worry this star wars themed film will be bigger and better than the first :) And the Jedi wont be wearing a flees jacket!
