So far so good with this enclosure. It went up in the same way that the original did. Material seems a bit heavier than original...time will tell how well it holds up; but I'm not expecting any problems. Couldn't be more satisfied with the price or quality. Fast shipping was just another added bonus.

Lifehacker found this handy miniature calender to download and print from Grafish Design's Blog. After printing and cutting it out, it will easily fit inside a photo holder for your wallet. The calendar uses only one set of numbers but lists twelve alternate headings for each month, color coded for the varying days in the month (green for months with 31 days, orange 30 days and pink for February). Clever and makes for larger size type (for those of us with degrading vision) than a wallet sized calendar listing every month in the traditional fashion. The calendar is a pdf file. Stamps Go Up 2 Cents Today To 44 Cents

Just a reminder. Today is the day that postage rates go up once again. First class postage goes up 2 Cents to 44 Cents. There are some other increases also like postcards go up a penny to 28 Cents. Check the USPS Price Guide for current rates.

Unfortunately it's kind of a vicious cycle. Internet and email give no cost alternatives (at least for those of us who consider broadband to be a required expense anyways). Lower mail volume, lower USPS income, raise rates. More people look for alternatives (pay bills on-line, send e-cards, etc.). USPS loses more income, raises rates.

I do use USPS for packages whenever I have occasion. You can ship priority mail by preparing, paying for and printing labels on their website. I then leave the package in a bag on my mailbox post. You can even get boxes free for priority mail shipping. The rates are reasonable, shipments are trackable, service is reliable. Try it.
