King Of The Baggers roared into Harley-Davidson’s home turf in Wisconsin for the third double-header of the season. With Harley personnel looking on, including Willie G. Davidson in attendance, it was Indian factory rider Hayden Gillim who dominated both races, extending his points lead.

In the first race, Gillim and Harley-Davidson factory rider Kyle Wyman traded the lead a few times early on before Gillim pulled away with a comfortable lead. Wyman’s teammate Bradley Smith rounded out the podium. The Race 2 action took place in the battle for 2nd as Wyman and Smith traded places while Gillim continued pulling away in 1st to the checkered flag. By the end, Smith passed Wyman for a 2nd-place finish.

With four races to go, Gillim leads the standings with 132 after winning five of six rounds in the season. His teammate Troy Herfoss sits in 2nd with 107, and Bradley Smith holds up 3rd with 91. Next up, the series heads to WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, July 10-12.

Golden Valley, MN (June 1, 2026) — Competing on Harley-Davidson’s home turf, Indian Motorcycle left no doubt which manufacturer is setting the pace in the King of the Baggers championship battle in 2026. Championship points leader Hayden Gillim delivered another dominating performance at Road America, sweeping both races to capture his fourth and fifth victories of the season to further extend his points lead atop the Championship standings.

The impressive showing was yet another testament to the race-winning performance of the Vance & Hines-built Indian Challenger powered by the PowerPlus 112 engine. Through six races, the J&P Cycles / Motul / Vance & Hines Factory Indian Motorcycle Racing team remains undefeated, as the 2026 King of the Baggers season continues to highlight the team’s championship-proven engineering and the relentless performance of the Indian Challenger.

“Winning at the home track of our rival is one thing, but sweeping the weekend with two victories and extending our undefeated streak in such a dominating manner is extra special,” said Mike Kennedy, CEO of Indian Motorcycle. “Six victories in a row, across three very different race tracks is a testament to, not only the strength of our Vance & Hines team and the talent of our riders, but also the superior package we possess with the Indian Challenger and Powerplus 112. This is the result of elite racing talent paired with a world-class machine.”

After seeing the Vance & Hines-build Indian Challenger dominating the season’s first four races, MotoAmerica rules officials decided an adjustment was in order, granting Harley-Davidson an additional 200 RPMs for the remainder of the season in an effort to narrow the performance gap and potentially end Indian’s undefeated run. Despite the rules change, the Indian Motorcycle Factory Race Team finished on top of the podium yet again, sweeping both races and shattering the Road America lap record for baggers.

Gillim’s exceptional performance began in the qualifying round on Friday, capturing P1 and breaking the track’s fastest lap record for baggers by 1.3 seconds, a record previously held by Harley-Davidson Factory Rider Kyle Wyman. In fact, Gillim recorded three laps during the session that were faster than Wyman’s record time. This set the stage for Gillim’s decisive victories in both races.

Hayden Gillim claimed both victories at Road America. Bradley Smith and Kyle Wyman supported the Harley-Davidson factory team by rounding out the podium in both races.

Starting from the top pole position in Race 1, Gillim appeared poised to control the race from the outset. However, Wyman quickly challenged for the lead and held the top position through the opening two laps. Gillim remained within striking distance, steadily closing the gap before making a decisive move to reclaim first place. Once out front, Gillim set a relentless pace and maintained control for the remainder of the race, crossing the finish line to secure Indian’s fifth win of the season.

In Race 2, Gillim once again found himself trailing Wyman in the early stages of the race. However, the second place seat was short-lived, as he quickly established control. From there, he maintained a consistent pace and built a lead of more than two seconds over the two trailing Harley riders, never relinquishing the top position on his way to securing a perfect weekend at Road America.

The two weekend victories marked a major milestone for Gillim, who surpassed 50 career race wins.

“Breaking the lap record was a great accomplishment, but for me, it’s all about winning races, and being able to leave Road America with two wins was pretty special,” said Gillim. “This team continues to perform at an incredibly high level, and that’s a credit to everyone at Indian Motorcycle and Vance & Hines. Reaching 50 career victories is something I’m extremely proud of, but doing it while extending our undefeated streak at Harley Davidson’s home track makes it all the more memorable.”

The weekend allowed Indian Motorcycle Factory Racing to widen the gap in the King of the Baggers championship. Gillim’s series-leading 132 points and Herfoss’ 107 points place Indian Motorcycle firmly in control of the top two championship positions, while Harley-Davidson riders Bradley Smith and Kyle Wyman trail in third and fourth with 91 and 77 points, respectively.

The King of the Baggers season continues July 10-12 at the iconic WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca.

The second and third races of the inaugural season of Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup took place at the MotoGP Brembo Grand Prix of Italy at Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello on May 30.

The first race saw a tight battle between Oscar Gutiérrez (Nitti Racing), Eric Granado (Joe Rascal Racing), and Archie McDonald (Joe Rascal Racing), with Gutiérrez overtaking Granado at the finish and McDonald bringing up 3rd. The second race was even more fierce, with Gutiérrez, Granado, and McDonald battling alongside Andrea Iannone (Nitti Racing) and Filippo Rovelli (ParkinGo Team) in the lead group. Gutiérrez dropped out of the tight group when he ran wide in Lap 2, and Iannone snagged the lead in Lap 7 to claim victory, with Granado in 2nd McDonald in 3rd.

With eight more races to go, McDonald holds onto the points lead with 73 points, followed by Granado with 70 and Gutiérrez with 64. Next up, the series heads to TT Circuit Assen in the Netherlands, June 26-28.

MILWAUKEE (May 31, 2026) – Niti Racing riders Oscar Gutiérrez and Andrea Iannone each rode race-prepared Harley-Davidson Road Glide motorcycles to win a round of the FIM Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup at the MotoGP Brembo Grand Prix of Italy at Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello on May 30. After four of 12 scheduled races, Joe Rascal Racing rider Archie McDonald leads the series in points.

Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup – Mugello Circuit

Pole position was claimed by Joe Rascal Racing rider Eric Granado with a time of 1:56.704 on the 3.259-mile (5.245 km) 15-turn Mugello course. Top speeds recorded on the weekend approached 186 mph (300 km/h).

Race 1 featured a fierce eight-lap battle between Gutiérrez, Granado, and McDonald, with the three riders exchanging positions repeatedly throughout the race. Gutiérrez edged Granado by 0.171 seconds at the finish while McDonald completed the podium in third. Making his championship debut, Niti Racing rider Andrea Iannone immediately demonstrated front-running pace and spent much of the race fighting for podium positions. However, two Long Lap penalties ultimately relegated the Italian to fourth place despite a highly competitive performance.

Fans watch bagger racing at the Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello.

“This victory feels even more special than the one in Austin because Mugello has always been a difficult circuit for me,” said Gutiérrez. “I was not feeling well yesterday due to an allergy and very little sleep, but we knew we had the pace to fight at the front. I focused on riding a smart race, studying my rivals and waiting for the right moment to attack. On the final lap I made my move on Eric and managed to take the win.”

In Race 2 Gutiérrez, Granado, McDonald, Iannone and ParkinGO Team rider Filippo Rovelli established themselves from the start as the lead group, engaging in a spectacular battle with multiple overtakes and constant position changes during the opening laps. The race changed dramatically when Gutiérrez ran off course while leading on lap 2, leaving Granado, McDonald, Rovelli and Iannone to continue their duel. Granado led through the middle of the race, but Iannone executed a tight pass at turn one on lap 7 to take the lead and held on to win by 0.512 seconds, with Granado second and McDonald third.

“Coming back to racing is always special but doing it here at Mugello and with Harley-Davidson made it even more incredible,” said Iannone, a winner in just his second Bagger World Cup race. “What surprised me the most is the riding experience of this bike. Once you get on track, you discover a true race machine. It can achieve impressive lap times, it handles really well and, above all, it’s a lot of fun to ride. I didn’t approach the races with a specific strategy. I’ve always been an instinctive rider, someone who follows his feelings, and I believe that when you make decisions with your heart, you rarely go wrong. The level is very high, everyone is fast, and the gaps are small. My goal is to keep enjoying myself, continue learning, and be competitive every time I get on the bike. I want to thank everyone who made this possible: the team, Harley-Davidson, and all the people involved in the project. It’s great to be here.”

After four of 12 rounds in the Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup series McDonald leads with 73 points, followed by Granado with 70 points, Gutiérrez with 64, Saddlemen Race Development rider Jake Lewis with 53 points and Rovelli with 51 points.

As the Indian Motorcycle factory race team arrives at Road America for the fifth and sixth rounds of the 2026 King Of the Baggers series, the team has debuted a special-edition race livery to celebrate Indian’s 125th anniversary.

The livery is inspired by the 125th Anniversary Collection, which was announced in February 2026 and features hand-applied paint, special badging, and premium components. The 125th Anniversary Collection is available on the Chief Vintage, Scout Bobber, Challenger, and Roadmaster.

Like the Anniversary Collection, the special race livery seen at Road America in Wisconsin features a base Indian Motorcycle Red paint enhanced with metallic microflakes, as well as special badging and graphics. Race fans attending the MotoAmerica weekend at Road America can see the Indian Challengers sport this livery in action Friday through Sunday.

Indian enters the Road America double-header after the factory team has won all four races so far in the season. Factory rider Hayden Gillim holds the points lead with 82 points, followed closely by teammate Troy Herfoss with 81 points. Also racing for Indian is Rocco Landers. The recent Indian racing success has followed on the heels of a partnership between the Vance & Hines team and Indian, with Gillim and Landers coming to the Indian team after racing Harley-Davidson Road Glides for Vance & Hines in 2025.

Indian Motorcycle has launched a new performance product lineup called American Racing Operations. Kicking off the launch is the debut of the new ARO GP Slip-on Exhaust.

ARO (pronounced as “arrow”) will include parts, accessories, and technologies inspired by Indian’s racing history and current racing efforts in the King Of The Baggers series. Some of the products in the ARO lineup will be directly taken from the King Of The Baggers racing program, while others will draw inspiration from Indian’s past.

“Our brand was founded by two racers who built a legacy pushing performance and driving American motorcycle innovation literally through racing,” said Mike Kennedy, CEO of Indian Motorcycle. “As stewards of Indian Motorcycle’s 125-year history, we’re proud to continue this legacy of innovation with our new race-inspired, factory-backed performance halo brand. ARO represents our commitment to performance, authenticity, and the continued evolution of American motorcycling, driven by and inspired by our historic investment in racing.”

The ARO GP Slip-on Exhaust was designed by Terry Vance, the Vance & Hines Factory Indian Motorcycle race team principal. The exhaust fits select 2018-2026 Thunderstroke and PowerPlus models. It features exhaust screens like those found on international road-racing bikes and provides a “precision-tuned sound, highlighted by a deep, low-frequency exhaust note at idle and low RPM before transitioning into a broad, high-output tone under acceleration and elevated engine speeds.” The exhaust is priced at $799.99 and will arrive to dealerships in June 2026.

“Our all-new slip-on exhaust system is really special, as it represents the first in what we expect to be a long line of performance products we will develop,” said Kennedy. “I’ve been running a prototype on my own Indian Challenger since Daytona, and I can say wholeheartedly that it sounds absolutely amazing and truly elevates the experience of riding an Indian PowerPlus bagger.”

This product is the result of a multiyear partnership that combines Vance & Hines with Indian’s racing program. The partnership kicked off for the 2026 KOTB series and has seen great success so far. With four races completed in the season, the Indian factory team has claimed all four wins and 9 of 12 podium spots, including making KOTB history with a full Indian podium in Race 2 at Road Atlanta on April 19.

The AFT Budds Creek Half-Mile on May 16 saw Briar Bauman claim his third American Flat Track victory in a row aboard the Harley-Davidson XG750R, and it was the first race of the season for rookie and points leader Kody Kopp to finish off the podium.

Right off the jump, Bauman got out in front of reigning champ Dallas Daniels, who was soon passed by Chad Cose. While Daniels fought to get around Cose, Bauman extended his lead in the front. Daniels found his way past Cose, who then had to contend with Kopp who was looking to overtake him for the 3rd-place finish. Kopp got close but couldn’t manage to get past Cose.

Kopp’s first SuperTwins season has shot him to the top of the standings from the very first double-header at Daytona, where he won both races. The Daytona races were followed by three 2nd-place Short Track finishes before his 4th-place finish at Budds Creek. Despite this outstanding start, Daniels and Bauman are creeping up on him in the standings. Kopp still leads with 117 points, with Daniels close behind at 110, followed by Bauman at 108.

Next up is the Appalachian Harley-Davidson Williams Grove Half-Mile at Williams Grove Speedway on May 23. Find more information in the press release below.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (May 16, 2026) – The rolling Briar Bauman (No. 3 Super.com/RWR Harley-Davidson XG750R) upped his win streak to three with yet another dominant outing, the latest coming at the Budds Creek Half-Mile in the inaugural Parts Unlimited ThrottleFest presented by Carter CAT, Round 6 of the 2026 Progressive American Flat Track season, sanctioned by AMA Pro Racing.

The Main Event of the four-day event hosted by Budds Creek Motocross Park in Mechanicsville, Maryland, was expected to be a showdown involving Bauman, reigning Grand National Champion Dallas Daniels (No. 1 Estenson Racing Yamaha MT-07), and Mission AFT SuperTwins points leader Kody Kopp (No. 12 Latus Motors Racing Harley-Davidson XG750R).

And arguably it was, in a sense, albeit one effectively decided in the opening seconds of the race.

Bauman and Daniels went elbow-to-elbow as they disputed the holeshot. Bauman ultimately had the superior positioning aboard his Rick Ware Racing Harley-Davidson XG750R, which not only forced Daniels to accept second but resulted in him getting shuffled back to third by an opportunistic Chad Cose (No. 49 PRO Roofing/Parker Racing Yamaha MT-07).

The Estenson Racing Yamaha ace would spend the next six minutes attempting to uncover a path back around Cose. And by the time he finally managed to do so, Bauman was more than three seconds clear at the front.

Bauman negotiated his way through heavy traffic over the final couple of laps, allowing Daniels to slash the deficit down to 2.208 seconds, but the outcome was never truly put in doubt.

After Daniels worked his way past and disappeared in second, Cose shifted his attention to Kopp, who was creeping up from fourth. Despite Kopp’s late push, the Californian held on to the spot by a nerve-wracking 0.210 seconds, securing Cose’s first premier-class podium in eight seasons.

Hunter Bauer (No. 24 G&G Racing Yamaha MT-07) and Aidan RoosEvans (No. 26 FRA Trust Advisors Harley-Davidson XG750R) joined Kopp to put rookies fourth, fifth, and sixth.

Meanwhile, Trent Lowe (No. 48 American Honda/Mission Foods Honda CB750 Hornet), Morgen Mischler (No. 13 IFS Waste Services/D&D Cycles Aprilia Tuareg 660), Cameron Smith (No. 34 Fredericktown Yamaha/Thee Kathy Gray Yamaha MT-07), and Declan Bender (No. 70 Memphis Shades/Vinson Construction Yamaha MT-07) closed out the top ten.

Bauman’s surge has shifted the Grand National Championship outlook, closing the margin separating the top three dramatically in recent weeks.

While Kopp continues to lead with 117 points, Daniels (110) and Bauman (108) are now both well within striking distance in second and third.

After scoring the 37th Mission AFT SuperTwins win of his career, the two-time Grand National Champion said, “There’s something about doing it with a crew you thoroughly enjoy doing it with… We just work at it. We weren’t the quickest all day. We were a bit off. But they turned that thing upside down. I’ll be upfront – we didn’t change a clicker on the motorcycle the last two Nationals except for gearing. And today we threw the toolbox at that thing, and we found it. I’m just proud of my whole Rick Ware Racing team.”

Carey Hart is synonymous with legacy, reinvention, and the rise of modern freestyle motocross. From his early days as a professional FMX rider to building a successful tattoo shop, Hart & Huntington, Carey Hart has redefined what it looks like to be an athlete and entrepreneur in the world of action sports.

The Winged Wheels Women’s Tank is $38.

Known for pushing limits on and off the bike, Hart has built his identity around a simple belief: risk is unavoidable. “You either confront it or spend your life avoiding it, and both come with consequences,” says Hart. As a bold risk taker in the world of FMX, Hart became the first rider to pull off the unthinkable backflip. Years later, after a career-ending injury, he became an entrepreneur, stepping into risk once again, with no prior business experience, by starting the first tattoo shop in a Las Vegas casino.

Briar Bauman aboard a Harley-Davidson XG750R racked up a second victory in California during the American Flat Track Silver Dollar Short Track, moving closer toward rookie Kody Kopp at the top of the standings. After a rough start in Daytona, during which Bauman finished 7th and 6th in the double-header, Bauman has turned up the heat and poses a threat to Kopp and reigning champ Dallas Daniels.

Kopp remained consistently strong to finish in 2nd, while fellow rookie Aidan RoosEvans claimed 3rd ahead of Daniels, who finished off the podium for the first time in 10 races.

Kopp, with two victories and three 2nd-place finishes out of five races, maintains the points lead with 103 points. Daniels sits behind him with 91 points, while Bauman has closed the gap to 85 points in 3rd.

Next up is the Budds Creek Half-Mile at ThrottleFest in Machanicsville, Maryland, on May 16. Read AFT’s press release below for more details.

California native Briar Bauman (No. 3 Super.com/RWR Harley-Davidson XG750R) completed the Golden State double-double with a victorious performance in the CRESCO CAT Rentals Silver Dollar Short Track, Round 5 of the 2026 Progressive American Flat Track season, sanctioned by AMA Pro Racing.

For the second consecutive season, Bauman backed up his Mission AFT SuperTwins win at Ventura Raceway with another at Silver Dollar Speedway to sweep the series’ West Coast swing.

Saturday evening’s masterclass in Chico, California, was a certified competition crusher. The two-time Grand National Champion made quick work of reigning champ Dallas Daniels (No. 1 Estenson Racing Yamaha MT-07) and points leader Kody Kopp (No. 12 Latus Motors Racing Harley-Davidson XG750R) before proceeding to set sail at the front.

For the third consecutive race, Kopp did what he could to cling on in second. He even managed to mount something of a charge at mid-distance, bringing a near-two-second gap back down to just over a second. However, Bauman put in a final push to break it open late en route to a 2.614-second margin of victory.

After earning the 36th premier-class win of his decorated career, Bauman said, “Last week, I knew that we were ready. And now these guys know that we are ready. I’m fired up. It’s so hard to lead on these types of racetracks. I’ve never looked back that much in my life. But Kody is so witty, and his dad is so good, and Dave Z(anotti) is so good, I knew they were going to find something. So I kept looking, but I finally found something that was good enough to get us to the win. I’m super excited for the team.”

Meanwhile, Kopp’s fellow rookie, Aidan RoosEvans (No. 26 FRA Trust Advisors Harley-Davidson XG750R), came through in a big way for Harley as well as the championship aspirations of Bauman and Kopp. Despite being subjected to intense pressure from directly behind, RoosEvans held strong to finish ahead of Daniels while putting the finishing touches on a Harley-Davidson XG750R sweep of the podium.

The champ had to work hard to even will himself in a position to fight for the box. He found himself in a perilous position early with multiple riders nipping at his heels for fifth in the early going. And even after he settled in, Daniels couldn’t manage to find a way past RoosEvans, finishing off the podium for the first time in ten races.

In truth, the Estenson Yamaha ace was fortunate to stay ahead of a charging Davis Fisher (No. 67 Rackley Racing/Bob Lanphere’s BMC Racing KTM 790 Duke). Fisher raced up from the back row, having burned his provisional start after encountering mechanical issues in both his heat and the LCQ.

Sixth went to Trent Lowe (No. 48 American Honda/Mission Foods Honda CB750 Hornet), followed closely by Ben Lowe (No. 25 Rackley Racing/Roof Systems KTM 790 Duke).

Evan Renshaw (No. 95 Moto Anatomy X Powered by Royal Enfield 650) earned his best premier-class result to date in eighth while part-timer Bronson Bauman (No. 37 Dick Ford Racing Yamaha MT-07) finished ninth.

Canadian Hunter Bauer (No. 24 G&G Racing Yamaha MT-07) finished tenth, and as a result, rookies accounted for a full half of the top ten.

Top rookie Kopp continues to lead the Grand National Championship chase at 103 points. Daniels is still second with 91, while Bauman continues to close at 85.

The Memphis Shades Ventura Short Track presented by 805 Beer, the fourth race in the 2026 American Flat Track season, gave Briar Bauman, racing a Harley-Davidson XG750R, his third straight win at the venue and his first of the season.

From the start, Bauman took the lead and stayed out front for the 8-minutes-plus-2-laps Mission AFT SuperTwins main event. Rookie Kody Kopp, also aboard a Harley XG750R, was the only racer with a shot of catching him but couldn’t make up the time, finishing 2nd. Dallas Daniels squeaked past Davis Fisher to finish 3rd after a mechanical issue with Fisher’s KTM.

Kopp is quickly becoming a strong force in the AFT SuperTwins class in his first year. With two wins and two 2nd-place finishes, he leads the standings ahead of 2025 champ and Yamaha-mounted Dallas Daniels. But Kopp still has a long way to go before securing the championship, and Bauman’s impressive show at Ventura could be a sign of serious battles ahead.

American Flat Track returns May 2 for the Silver Dollar Short Track in Chico, California, on May 2. Find more information in the press release below.

Briar Bauman (No. 3 RWR/Jacob Construction/Parts Plus Harley-Davidson XG750R) formally announced his arrival as a 2026 Grand National Championship contender with a dominant performance in Saturday’s Memphis Shades Ventura Short Track presented by 805 Beer.

Even after a somewhat-slower-than-expected start to his ‘26 Mission AFT SuperTwins campaign, Bauman’s one-sided victory at Ventura Raceway came as little surprise. The win was his third straight at the ocean-side venue and served as a stark reminder to the rest of the field the type of performance the two-time premier-class champion is capable of when on his game.

Bauman blasted into the lead from the start and soon after eliminated the threat of all but fellow Harley-Davidson ace Kody Kopp (No. 12 Latus Motors Racing Harley-Davidson XG750R).

The rookie points leader did all he could just to keep Bauman in sight as they raced away from the pack. But despite his best efforts, Bauman ultimately proved too strong.

Kopp was given a glimmer of hope late when Bauman got hung up behind a three-rider group waging fifth position as he lapped his way up the order. However, Bauman’s hard work and big lead paid off, as he held on to grab the checkered flag with a 1.373-second margin of victory.

After earning his first win of the season, Bauman admitted, “I got a little bit greedy the first three rounds. I kind of led the team in a difficult direction. We wanted to bite off more than we could chew, and we got a little ahead of ourselves. So apologies to Rick Ware Racing and the whole family, but this is where we belong.

“I love coming here. I see my friends. I see my family where I grew up. I’m a pretty good Short Tracker, so I enjoy riding this track in general… I’m so proud of my guys. We did something massive tonight.”

Dallas Daniels (No. 1 Estenson Racing Yamaha MT-07) finished third but required a good deal of luck to claim his usual spot on the podium.

Earlier, the reigning class king engaged in a bar-banging battle with a motivated Davis Fisher (No. 67 Rackley Racing/Bob Lanphere’s BMC Racing KTM 790 Duke). But just as Fisher looked to have gotten the better of Daniels, he was dealt a cruel hand of mechanical misfortune with less than a minute remaining on the clock.

Fisher’s disappointment also elevated part-timer Bronson Bauman (No. 37 Dick Ford Racing/Mission/Roof Systems Yamaha MT-07) to a hugely impressive fourth in his 2026 debut.

Fisher’s teammate, Ben Lowe (No. 25 Rackley Racing/Roof Systems KTM 790 Duke), rounded out the top five, finishing just ahead of Aidan RoosEvans (No. 26 FRA Trust Advisors Harley-Davidson XG750R) and Trent Lowe (No. 48 American Honda/Mission Foods Honda CB750 Hornet).

Logan Mcgrane (No. 14 Schaffers MotorSports/Ryan Varnes Racing KTM 790 Duke), Jacob Lehmann (No. 16 Weirbach Racing Kawasaki Ninja 650), and Evan Renshaw (No. 95 Moto Anatomy X Powered by Royal Enfield 650) finished eighth through tenth, respectively.

Four races into his Mission AFT SuperTwins career, Kopp continues to lead the Grand National Championship with 84 points courtesy of two wins and two runners-up. Daniels is second at 77, followed by Bauman with 62.
