As you may know, the elves we hang out with are not the same busy little creatures that populate Santa's workshop. My elven friends have lives of their own to attend to -leaving Ian & I to produce all the jewelry from our shop pretty much single handed. Here are the holiday deadlines for you to be aware of if you would like your items in time for Christmas:

Why yes, I do love Christmas, how did you guess? Aside from all of the sparklie magic of the lights and snow and Santa, I also love Christmas music! Ive decided to fill my treehouse (aka my studio;) with lots of it this year so have been downloading like crazy from iTunes. Loreena McKennit's A Midwinter Night's Dream is so beautiful- I was delighted to find this new to me Christmas carol that she set to the tune of Star of the County Down - one of my favorite Irish tunes!

Over all I think A Midwinter Night's Dream is one of my favorite Holiday CDs- often a Christmas album has a few good songs and a lot of duds, but I like every song on this one! If you would like your own copy, you can click on the photo below:)

Come one, come all!! See Thyme2dream live in person (well in tent;) on the road. Dont miss Ian's silly mirror jokes, crazy pirate accent and genuine Scottish accent!! See us twist REAL LIVE WIRE (okay, not live as in electrically live, but you know what I mean)and make custom ear adornments right before your very eyes ~its great dont miss it, etc and fanfare!!!

Seriously tho, making the transition from an online only shop to ALSO doing 15-20 Renaissance festival weekends per year has been an adventure, and we have loved meeting many of you in person. We are a bit late in listing this here,as we have 5 weekends under our belts already but I think we FINALLY have most of the rest of our 2011 schedule mapped out:

May 27-30th (Memorial Day Weekend) Greater St Louis Renaissance Festival
June 4-5th Greater St Louis Renaissance Festival
June 11-12 Great Bend Renaissance Festival, Great Bend KS

FINALLY we have beautiful Spring weather here in Kansas- I returned from a weekend away to see my lovely little daffodils blooming their hearts out in our front garden and the windows are all open in the tree house as I work today! All of which means Renaissance Festival season is just around the corner:)

Our first fair of the year-for the 3rd year in a row- is the Norman Medieval Fair in Norman, Oklahoma April 1-3rd. We are will be in basically the same spot as last year, right near the west central gate of the fair (see heart on the map below) BUT we have a BRAND NEW TENT- so be on the lookout for our name, rather than our old familiar decorated easy-up. I dont have a photo yet, but we are in a new 10x20 foot canvas 'old style' tent- a lot more room and a bit more authentic.
