Nuffnang is having 5th birthday celebration at Neverland this weekend. So how should Nuffnang stick man celebrate his 5th birthday? *Kido Daruma put on thinking cap*

If you guys like adrenaline rush, go for a few round on this Superman Roller Coaster ride. It is just perfectly awesome like bungy jump. PS: This one located in Goldcoast Australia, it was fun to be on it!

Or can make it easier. Climb Broga Hill in mid-night to see sunrise. Bring along a birthday cake and blow it when reach the top. If you are lucky you can see amazing sunrise with colourful sky =)

Both place sound so far? Don't worry get Doraemon to help you out with his "Dokodemo Door"[Pintu Suka Hati /任意门] You will just reach there in second and celebrate with fireworks on top of the hill! *imagination getting crazy*

Guess who is the girl that manage to be the 1st one to hug Wong Fu?

Excitement when fan girl meet Wong Fu. Some give Wong Fu presents, love shape RM1 note, director cut board and much much more. Jin did say all the stuff given will be courier to their home. Hmmm... Is it true? I would only keep stuff that's not bulky and worth to be kept. Something that people put so much effort in creating it.

Wong Fu do have boy fans too. There's even a guy who asked for a kissed from Philip. Must watch the video at the end of this post to find out!

Wong Fu were trying their best to greet every WF fans while the organizer is trying to safe more time by rushing the crowd. Too bad no photo opportunity or else it would have take hours to finish.

Internet MEME has been blooming and spreading on my FB wall. Do you remember this GAG Quartet Internet Medley on YouTube? Some of the MEMEs are kinda related to me (especially the photographer meme) and so I think.... Why don't I create a MEME about BLOGGER and see who will agree/disagree with me? Hence, with some time picking all the pictures taken through my camera. I wish it can somehow symbolize the story behind.

For people who don't know what blogger do, they might assume oh he just need to blog about 'anything' to earn money. Easy money and always live in luxurious state. Thanks to blogging, I am able to travel to certain place that I never thought of.

I guess that's what my dad think I would do as I always attend events organized by Johnnie Walker, Hennessy Artistry and lots more beer event from GAB (eg. Heineken, Tiger, Carlsberg and etc). These totally open my eyes but I've never get drunk in these event because I 'Never Drink and Drive'. So dad, don't worry about me over drinking kay? =)

Just hope that she doesn't think I strip for money haha! Well, my mom is kinda supportive after she know I can make some income through blogging. Ah this one interesting. Some people do thought that what blogger want is Goodies Bag. Please refer to 'Shit Malaysian Blogger Say' as there's motion pictures example provided. Yes, I've seen bloggers who love goodie bag so much that they asked for more but that doesn't represent all bloggers. I've attended hundreds to thousand events and received many kind of goodies bag, some are giving really customized and useful stuff but some are just like a small token of appreciation for you to come. So far one of my favourite door gift is fromVolkswagen Das Auto Show 2011. Do note that blogger doesn't necessarily want goodie bag from you. Some times little respect is more than enough.

Well, I've never thought of becoming a fulltime blogger until I get involved with it and one of the big reason is Nuffnang was formed. You can read 'My Nuffnang Story' here. It is like drawing art where you have freedom to decide what you want to do, what color to choose, what to draw and share with anyone. Now is the age of public sharing and I found blogging is one of the way that gives us opportunity to enjoy some once-a-lifetime-experience and share with others. To be honest, if I didn't find passion through blogging, I might still working in an enclosed science lab doing microbes research.

The reason I choose the photo is because Jess Lee's song 煎熬@Suffering somehow represent me in certain time. Especially during the time when I didn't have stable income through blogging and parents weren't convinced with my decision of going fulltime with it. Thank god, the most suffering moment has gone and I am now getting better by doing freelance photography for wedding, portrait and events. The 'suffer' that I mean are when people thought that I earn easy money by just simple post up a blog post and some people just expect us to blog for free no matter how much time and efforts been given to write a post for their event & stuff. And no, your goodies bag doesn't mean everything for us.

Do note that blogger don't have stable income as your fulltime job, it really depends on the advertising season and client who are interested with your services. Furthermore, we don't have EPF & SOSCO +++ (Unless you open own company and pay them by yourselves)

Asus Zenbook UX21 Review & Price [Malaysia] - It's Ultrabook Time

Courtesy of ASUS Malaysia I was given a unit of ASUS Zenbook UX21 to review after the official launch of Asus Zenbook UX21 @ Luna Bar. I am actually looking for a laptop that suite my working schedule where I need to travel here and there and it's 1.1kg weight definitely make my life easier. No more overweight luggage. The ultrabook I am reviewing is 11 inch. The nicely curve body design and the aluminum construction making UX21 more elegant to use.

Lift the lid, reveal the mouse pad with simple design and bouncing keypads with the super-thin 11 inch screen showing Window 7 is on. Yeap, Asus Zenbook is one of the Ultrabook that can wake up from idle mode within 2 seconds. I don't have to shut it down every time I want to travel as when you close the lid it will automatic go to power-safe mode and preserve battery level.

The keyboards bouncy feel does helps me in typing but I wonder if it was just me or the spacebar is a little bit harder to press correctly. Sometimes my sentence lack of spacing although I feel that I already press on it. [Maybe I need to press harder]

Audio quality. Bang & Olufsen ICEpower speakers. The speaker is amazingly nice although it was tiny built between the screen and the keyboard. Consider quite good experience listen to music and watch video too. However, please don't expect this already-thin-ultrabook to give you good bass audio.

Talking about the screen (450 nits HD 1366x768), I tried use Picasa 3 to edit photos and the color showed looks quite accurate when viewed straight on. Of course, at extreme angles you won't able to see the images clearly. The screen is large enough to view most of the website (including my blog) correctly.

Maybe I should consider the UX31 with i7 and larger screen too so I can edit the images more correctly and smoothly.

Asus Zenbook UX21 connectivity is quite basic with total 6 ports. Two USB ports (USB 2.0+3.0 compatible), Micro HDMI and Mini Display Port Video Outputs with combined headphone and microphone audio jack. A USB Adapter for Ethernet port is included in the box if you prefer wired to wireless networking.

I tried the webcam to record video and it's face detection functioning quite well. Now I wonder where did I put my video hahaha.

Asus Zenbook UX21 features real time power forecast. I can switch between 'Battery-saving' and 'High-performance' mode to save more battery.

Asus Zenbook UX21 equipped with Intel Core i5-2467M processor running at 1.6GHz, 4GB of RAM and a 128GB SSD are still an incredibly powerful combination in a laptop of this size. I didn't face any trouble to complete my daily task including running multiple applications. As for playing games? I don't think the spec is good enough for it still.

UX21's four-and-a-half-hour battery life will not be enough if you are like me using photo edit software in high performance and I would advice you to always bring your battery charger along. Good thing is that the battery charger no longer that bulky compared to other laptop.

FREE Leather Sleeve will be given when you purchase Asus Zenbook UX21/UX31. It looks elegant and classy but I personally don't think it is protective enough IF I accidentally dropped it on the floor.

Conclusion for Asus Zenbook UX21:
People will surely compare with it's direct competitor 11" MacBook Air. Both of them are in similar built just that the major difference is the OS (of course). Apple fans will always support apple products, but what happen when something different is being offered?

I will not purchase Asus Zenbook UX21 but will get the UX31 version instead because of the i7 processor and additional SD Card Reader (I don't wanna bring card reader along with me everywhere I go). UX21's light weight definitely is a good reason to bring it along for travel & work. Imagine I can just transfer photos to it and blog on the spot during my travel to Japan Osaka =)

Thanks to Nuffnang and Inspire.ME I got myself a photographer pass. There wasn't any dedicated Photographer Area. Thankfully + luckily Dylan said 'hi' therefore I found a good seat where I can just sit down and snap photos+videos together.

The host used superman's music to welcome both Philip Wang and Wesley Chan. They tried to greet us in Malay 'Apa Khabar'. Basically this mini symposium is for filmmaker and of course WF fans who wanna see them in person early before the 'WONG FU 4 LYFE' event at night.

How was Wong Fu Productions formed?
Who is Wong Fu's inspiration? They didn't watch much films because they were busy producing good videos and finally Wesley decided to say Chistopher Nolan.
How Wong Fu find ideas for video. They note down what they know through personal experience including conversation with friends. Later then sit down, combine ideas and produce a good story line.
When will Wong Fu bring ISA to Malaysia?

How comfortable are Wong Fu being seen as Asian American Filmmakers and representing them? Not much Asian American actors were on the TV and Wong Fu somehow helped them get more exposure through posting video on YouTube. Wong Fu is trying their best to be a good role model helping Asian American (also other talented actors too). Undeniable, it is not easy.
Whether Wong Fu had fight with each other since they had working together for so long. Philip did an instant drama when people asked that question. Nice act haha
Was it difficult to work with set of Lee Hom's "Still in love with you @ 依然爱你" MV? It was difficult in planning, the schedule was insane, but with helps from Taiwan's professional production crews it went smooth & great.
Wong Fu answered tons of questions from the Wong Fu Fans who attended Mini Symposium that day. I am sure Malaysian Wong Fu fans super appreciate that =) At least I do.
Why do Wong Fu start making Wong Fu Weekends? Wong Fu is trying to produce more frequent update/videos, they are making it better and launching their new WFW season soon.
How did Wong Fu do the color correction on Lee Hom's Music Video. They were using Final Cut Pro and it was a hard decision for Wesley to choose the suitable "Asian's color". Wesley was glad that people like it.
Was it easy while Wong Fu deciding which course to choose for further study? Philip somehow found his passion through random video posting while Wesley at first decided not to go with film making courses but well he choose it in the end instead of graphic design.
How to create viral & popular video? First the video must have content, you can share something which is already popular (eg. Shit someone say), make it short (aroud 2 minutes) and make it easy to share.
Will they shoot videos in Malaysia? Wong Fu said they will plan it in their next trip since this time it was a rush trip. But I saw Wong Fu record videos during the Meet & Greet session so hope Wong Fu will include you guys in their upcoming WFW video.
How Wong Fu find suitable sound track for video? Many friends who are music composer including David Choi helped a lot in choosing sound track..
What do Wong Fu do when they feel down? Especially when seeing their work/video is not getting much views as expected.

Interesting Facts about Wong Fu:

The name 'Wong Fu Productions' comes from Philip's nickname on AIM Instant Messenger instead of Phil's and Ted's last name.
Wesley's first camera was 640 x 480 resolution digital camera.
Asian American was labelled with people who know kung fu and have accent.
It is hard to please everyone. Wong Fu were 'complained' using Asian actor only but being 'complained' of using actors other than Asian too. Wong Fu is trying their best to find the balance.
Wong Fu also facing difficulties to cope with editing video. [Both sigh at the same time]
Wesley like grey color and Philip like blue. Oh ya, recently Phil choose a side view picture (taken by me yay) as his profile picture, so I assume he like his photo being snap from the side?

Filemmakers Anonymous did a video contest for Wong Fu Fans to submit a video about why they want to come to this Mini Symposium. Total 9 videos submitted and I like the second and third one the most.

There was a mini contest held during the Mini Symposium. XinXian was the first one to answer the question correctly hence she get to choose a Nice Guy shirt. Can I have one too since I blog so well? hahaha

Hooi Hooi, the girl who created the WF video together with Cheryl win stuff again!

Philip was good enough to give her plush toy and gifts for Cheryl too.

The first person who hug Wong Fu that day. I 'smell' some jealousy in the hall. There's a kid who brought back a few Nice Guy T-Shirts all at once. Cool huh?

Still remember Wesley answering the last question by a WF fans about how to overcome sadness because feeling down with work not being appreciated.

Eventually Mini Symposium ended very fast and Wong Fu needed to rush for the Meet & Greet session at somewhere else in Taylor. Some people left the hall quickly just to get into the queue to meet and greet Wong Fu personally. [Will share the Meet & Greet moment in next coming post]

Overall, it would be great if more questions can be answered by Wong Fu during the mini symposium. Anyway, it was great to have talented people like Wong Fu sharing their experience and giving advice right? Hope Wong Fu will keep inspire us.
