Disney parks are expensive places to go, and because of that, many people never think to simply look on the Disney website itself. Take the Right When You Want To Get There Quicker

Islands of Adventure ~ Recently I was over at the newest addition to the Orlando theme parks, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter inside Universal Orlando’s, Islands of Adventure theme park. What amazed me the most was that we were there at 8:30 am and we were not alone. As we sat there we got to talking with a few of the families that were there waiting with their mugs of coffee and asked them what they were going to do first. With excitement in their voices, they all responded, “Forbidden Journey“! This is the main ride in the Harry Potter section and it is well worth getting up early to get a jump on the crowds to see. As we talked about what strategy we were going to be using to get to the ride before everyone else, I let them in on a little secret. As you get thru the Ports of Call entry way, you either got to the left or right, but since Harry Potter is so popular, they now have a cast member waiting at the end of the entry way, directing you thru Marvel Super Hero Island as it is a much longer route instead of going thru Dr. Seuss. Going thru Dr. Seuss, will get you to the back entrance of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. I told them to just follow me and when we were flagged by the Universal Orlando cast member, we would tell them that we were going to see Dr. Seuss. As we entered the theme park, it was a mad dash of hundreds of people trying to get to the new Harry Potter ride first. As I predicted there was a cast member waiting for everyone, directing them to the Marvel Island. As we went to the right, the cast member asked us to stay to the left. We just calmly stated that we were going to visit Dr. Seuss first and she stated to us to have a great day and sent us off with a wink and a smile. For anyone who plans on visiting the new Harry Potter Theme Park and wants to go first thing in the morning, I suggest that you first, get there early and second, go to the right to avoid what seems like a 1/2 mile trek to the directed entrance of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. This will save you at least 10 minutes of what seems like a marathon. Arrive in style without the crowds.
