&lt;br /&gt;
Phil Farruggio was sworn in as the new vice president. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
There was a good turnout this evening. Approximately 49 members were in attendance. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The most popular topic was&amp;nbsp;the current contract negotiations, &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
President Royce Ulibarri updated the membership with regard to the locals preparedness in the event that a strike is called. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
He also advised members to stay patient and trust in the&amp;nbsp;negotiation process. The company is testing us and we need to stay united in the wake of their obstinacy.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Strike Captains have been selected&amp;nbsp;for each yard. Members were updated on current Mobility and Wire Tech issues. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Mobility is suffering under a new commission structure designed to make it even harder to earn.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Wire Techs had an increase in grievances of late. Wire techs are still not getting much relief as their dispatching cutoff time is set at 7pm.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Machine Operators are being scheduled for Saturday and Sunday.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The locals mobility website is now live. The&amp;nbsp;URL is cwa3102.org. &amp;nbsp;If your are using a smart phone, our website is now a little more user friendly on mobile devices. The main website and mobile website are still being tweaked. &lt;br /&gt;
