Last night, I joined a group of local photographers for a photo shoot in Springfield, MO. We had two lovely seniors from Parkview High School come model for us. I thought I would do a separate blog post for each one of them. Below is Caitlin….

Here are a few more images from last weekend’s photo session with Carlee, a senior this year at Bergman High School in Arkansas. I remember when Carlee was just a baby, and now she’s all grown up and become this beautiful young woman! Wow, I must be getting old…haha :) We shot this session all within about a 5-minute radius of where I live in Hollister, MO. The chair in the first set of pictures was a flea market find that I’ve been anxious to incorporating into a session. Love the light coming through the trees in the image below!

Our second location was on a hillside overlooking beautiful Tablerock Lake.The photo below is one of my favorites. Love the hair blowing in the wind…Finally, we finished down at the water’s edge.And snapped a few post-sunset photos using off-camera flash. <3 the purple tones…

Mason’s 9-Month Session - Berryville, AR Family Portrait Photographer

Here are some photos from another session I shot yesterday in Berryville, AR. Mason is no stranger to the blog. I’ve been very blessed to have the opportunity to document all his first year milestones. Check them out: newborn, 3-months, 6-months….and now here we are at 9-months.

Flores Family - Berryville, AR Newborn Portrait Photographer

Yesterday I traveled to Berryville, AR for a full day of shooting. My first stop was at the home of the Flores family, where I photographed their latest addition — twins! Contrary to how it appears in the photos below, little Isabella and Alexander were super active during their entire session. Being placed together in sleepy newborn poses was not on their agenda. :) However, we still managed to snap some cute photos, and I’m excited to return in a couple of months to shoot the family’s group portrait for their holiday cards this year!

Brooke :: Lead Hill HS Senior 2011 - Harrison, AR Senior Portrait Photographer

I’m so excited to post some more photos from Brooke’s session, which we shot last week in Harrison, AR. We met up at the square for a few photos, and then went out to a nearby field that has a great old barn in it. Brooke came to her session with lots of ideas and enthusiasm — I LOVE that!

Loving the peaceful feel of this picture and the pretty soft tones…Brooke brought along bubbles to her shoot, and it made for this fun series of images. :)Beautiful!Cute :)

I have been so eager to blog this photo session featuring Jessalyn, a senior this year at Bergman High School in Arkansas. We started shooting in downtown Branson, and then traveled to a nearby creek for some shots just before sunset. It was near 100 degrees that day so playing in the water was definitely on the agenda. In case you missed it, here’s a behind the scenes look at this session. I just love all the soft color tones in these images!

Kylie & Tyler :: Fair Engagement - Springfield, MO Wedding & Portrait Photographer

Kylie and Tyler are from Ava, MO and are tying the knot next month! A few weeks ago, I met up with them at the Ozark Empire Fair in Springfield, MO for an engagement session. My objective was to shoot using a mostly photojournalistic style. I wanted the images to simply document the couple having fun together at the fair. Here’s the result…

Poplar Heights Farm - Weekend Road Trip

Last weekend, my boyfriend Ryan and I took a little road trip to visit his lovely family. We had such a great time. Saturday night we went to Kansas City to see the Royals vs. Yankees, and then on Sunday, we attended the grand opening of Poplar Heights. It’s a farm near Butler, MO that has been fully restored back to its original (late 1800s) condition. Below are a few photos I took that day…
