As a member of Crowdtap, I was able to participate in another Old Navy Style Council sampling.

I received a coupon for myself and a coupon for a friend to receive two of Old Navy's Tshirts.

Great time of the year with summer rolling in and with me pretty much living in comfy tees.

I've gotten the opportunity to sample a few things now from Old Navy through the sampling program. This one is for two Tees each for me and a friend. On the picture of the coupon, it showed long sleeved and short sleeved shirts. When I first went into Old Navy, I went for a B-line straight to the long sleeved shirts, because I love the feel of a few other long sleeved shirts that I've gotten from there. There wasn't a lot of selection in the long sleeved for me that fit on my shoulders like I wanted, so I started venturing for short sleeved shirts. This sampling was only for the basic ones, no glitter, pictures, etc. I was pleasantly suprised by the variety of styles and colors available in the short sleeved shirts.

You can see one that I picked above. It fits so comfortably and is so soft. I plan on living in this for a while because they are my new favorites. So basic, yet so gratifying.

I gave my "friend" coupon to a friend who picked out two shirts that are very similar to mine, just with a different color pattern. You can see in the pic above, they are smaller than mine and fits her snugly. She absolutely loves them and has worn the blue one several times already.

Adorable. I enjoy mine so much can't wait to put my shirts to good use this year.

I was sent a 3pack of these. The concept is interesting. The material is soft and pliable, while at the same time sturdy and won't fall apart. They would be great for going on vacation or keeping a "backup" just in case you accidently ruin your clothes while out. It may be a an expensive venture to use them each time you have a period, but I would recommend them for their purpose. They are sleek enough to wear without being seen through your clothes.

In my box, I received:
2.5 fl oz sample of Dream Water: 0 Calorie sleep and relaxation shot. I really enjoyed this with a unique pineapple flavor....and you gotta love that it's 0 calories.
AtEase PM sleep aid. This worked really well. I compare it to taking Melatonin, which I do regularly. Gives you a little bump in falling asleep but doesn't knock you out like sleeping pills.
QSpeed CoQ10. This supplement is becoming very popular and it's said to have incredible properties. This sample packet has 2 fast-melt tablets with a decent orange flavor. I like that it is supposed to support my heart health.
AeroShot Energy. This is an interesting container for an energy shot. It's Raspberry flavored which isn't my favorite but it is different than the typical energy shot flavors you see. I like that it's small and convenient to keep in your bag or purse until you want to use it.
ProLab Quick Fire: Powdered drink mix that is fruit punch flavored. It has a decent taste and you are supposed to drink 30 mins prior to working out. Very hlepful, especially if you have a routine for exercising. (I need to work on the routine part)
The best of the box: $50 gift card for iTrain. You can download mp3's of workouts and coaching by top names in the biz. With my gift card, I chose the body makeover album, the HipHop bootcamp, HipHop Cardiocamp set and HipHop Dance set workouts. I like that I can throw them onto my cell phone and listen with earbuds while I workout. There are tons of different workouts to choose from. This was my favorite part of the BuluBox.

I've recently gotten the chance to try out a truly unique product. Numi Organic Tea provided me with a sample pack of their Pu-Erh Tea bags. I was first drawn to Numi's organic feel of their site and the products they sell. There are some truly unique flavors that I've never seen or tried before.

The sampler that I got to try contained 6 tea bags that are individually wrapped and great for on-the-go. That's exactly what I did with them, I tossed them in my bag and drank them mostly at work. I used the Keurig at work which is very convenient for some quick hot water for my tea.

Typically with the basic everyday tea, I drink it with sugar but with unique tea flavors and blends, I drink them simply brewed to truly enjoy each flavor. The samples that received are:

Emperor's

Each one is also marked with the caffeine level at the top, for instance, the Emperor's Pu-Erh is higher caffeine, while the Chocolate Pu-Erh is medium caffeine. I was surprised by some of the flavors. I found the Cardamom and Ginger more of a cooking spice type flavor, while the others I found very relaxing and absolutely delicious. The chocolate was unexpected because the flavor was very subtle which pleased me. I have to say that my favorite out of them all was the Jasmine. I could drink that everyday.

Tea is proven to be good for you. It's known to help weight management, improve digestion and metabolism, and naturally boost energy. I find it very relaxing and soothing, especially when I'm having a hard day at work.

Cheribundi Review and Giveaway Ends 03-15

I have reviewed many different drinks and snacks, always keeping in mind not only how I enjoy the products, but how my husband and children enjoy them. I was so pleased to get the opportunity to try out cheribundi. It's a line of juice and tea drinks that is completely new to me. cheribundi is a drink line that's primary niche is their use of cherries to make a drink that is no only delicious, but has health benefits as well.
I've known for a long time that tart cherries have beneficial properties. They are great for runners, athletes, and basically very active people, especially as the cherries can reduce pain and inflammation. Even those that suffer from gout, arthritis, and inflammatory disease can benefit from cherries. A new thing that I've discovered is that tart cherries contain melatonin, which promotes a more restful sleep.

So, we know that cherries are awesome and I absolutely love them. The problem with my shopping habits, is that I rarely actually buy cherries. Considering the cost, availability and just remembering to get them, it isn't very often I get the benefit. With cheribundi, you can get the same benefit, but in their delicious drinks. Their Refresh line contains 20 cherries per bottle, and the Teas contain 5 cherries per bottle.

I got the opportunity to try both the Refresh line and the Tea line, with their sampler pack. Before I even tried them, I kept seeing "tart cherries" here and there and was nervous that it would be too tart or even worse, not sweet at all. Then I tried them. I am so happy to report that my assumptions could not be further from the truth.

They are a great mixture of tart cherries and sweetness. The Refresh line is much more sweet than the tea line and my kids enjoyed those more. I was suprised to find out that my kids actually liked the tea line too. They are very hard to please when it comes to anything new. I had to convince my daughter to even try them because she had herself convinced that she doesn't like cherries because she doesn't like the skin. Once I proved to her that the drink doesn't actually have the cherry skin in it, she tried it and loved it. Their first reaction was to ask me if they can take them in their lunches to school.

With the sampler pack, I received 12 bottles to try out. The Teas aren't as sweet and they are full of unique tea flavor.

Each and every one that I've tried, I really have enjoyed. Normally with a sampler like this, I have some I don't care for, but with this cheribundi pack, I like them all. I have to say that my favorite one is the Cherry Pomegranate. It is absolutely delicious.

The bottles are 16.9 fl oz, which is perfect for on-the-go. I've been bringing mine to work with me and let the kids bring a couple to lunch with them. They are already asking how we can get some more. I checked for my area and they are only sold at health food type stores near me, but I see that you can buy them through the cheribundi site also. It is a tad pricey, but if you just get a 4-pack trial for around 11 dollars, you can try them out. You just might fall head-over heels like I did. Fingers crossed, these will blow up in popularity once everyone tries them out and I can see them on the shelves of my local Publix. A girl can hope :)

Through BzzAgent, I got the opportunity to try out the new Schick Hydro Silk Razor.
This is one seriously awesome razor. It has five curve sensing blades and around the edges of the cartridge there is water-activated moisturizing serum that keeps your skin hydrated and gives you that silky smooth shave.

The cartridges are contoured, so they easily maneuver around our lady curves like underarms, underknees, and ankles. (with no worries about any cuts, especially in those areas)
The razor itself has a comfortable grip, so you won't drop it, and it came with a very handy hanger that suctions to the wall of the shower. That way, it is conveniently right at your finger tips.
Typically, I bounce between using disposables and razors with replaceable blades. Basically, I get what I can find on sale. After using the Hydro Silk razor, I am completely sold on it. It really does leave your skin feeling silky smooth. It gets all the hair in one swipe and with the extra area around the cartridge, it applies smoothly and evenly, so you don't have to worry about holding it at too strong of an angle and cutting your skin. It's almost foolproof and I think because of that, it would be great for a beginner razor. My daughter is almost at that point, and I am keeping her in mind with this razor.

I encourage you to check it out. Get a starter kit and try it out for yourself. You can then buy the replacement cartridges to refill it.

I really enjoyed browsing the Mia Mariu site. You can browse their products, use their shade finder or even start your own business selling Mia Mariu products. Their products are broken down into 3 categories: Botanical Skin Care, Healthy Nutrition and Mineral Makeup.

I was most interested in the makeup, so I chose 4 products that I can use together in my routine. Not that I wear makeup everyday, but I wanted to choose products that I can use together to create a natural look with Mia Mariu products.

I chose the Mineral Loose Powder Foundation, Lip Gloss, Mascara and Eye Liner. As you can see, they also included a few sample packets. I'm excited to try those out but haven't yet.

The packaging is unique. The boxes are lined in a salmon color, with the Mia Mariu logo. Even the boxes for the eye liner and mascara were like that. It's a small thing, but I like how it adds a personal touch.

CMF01 PERFECTING FINISH Mineral Loose Powder Foundation Marfil 18.00 $18.00

I chose the lightest color and was worried about how it would blend with my skin tone, but it did very well. With powder, it blends so much easier than liquid foundation. This is also convenient to keep in your makeup bag or purse.

CML01 Volumizing and Lengthening Mascara Black 13.00 $13.00

With this black mascara, the brush is full, giving you full coverage. I like that the bottle isn't perfectly round, it is an oval shape and sits level on the table, desk when you set it down.

CLG04 Luminous Lip Gloss Romance 13.00 $13.00

This is my favorite of them all. It gives you a bit of shimmer to your lips and makes your lips feel and look full when wearing it. At first I was worried that it would make my lips a solid color, but it really is just a faint shimmer that it adds. You can use a light brown lip liner, and this lip gloss to create a great natural look.

CEL01 Intense Eye Liner Black 11.00 $11.00

This completes the look, complimenting your mascara. It's black and fits nicely with your other Mia Mariu products.

I'm really pleased with the products that I received to review. I still would love to try out their eye shadow, skin treatments, supplements and fragrance. Check them out online. It does get a little pricey when you start adding many things into your cart, so you might want to check out their collections that has the products bundled together for you.

Palmolive has a new design and new scents! The new line is the Fresh Infusions that combine some of our favorite scents to make the three new Palmolive Fresh Infusions:
Ginger White Tea
Lemon Thyme
Lime Basil
My first impression was about the design. I love the new look. The bottles are an interesting design and the artwork is very inviting. They remind me of a lot of "natural" looks that products are going to.
I shared the Lime Basil with a friend and they loved it. I also had a few coupons for $1.50 that I handed out. It is close call, but I think that the Ginger White Tea is my favorite scent.
With the concentrated formula, you don't have to use a lot. I typically use gloves anytime I do dishes because I don't want my hands drying out, but I tried using the new Palmolive line with a few rounds of dishes and they did not leave my hands dry. I also love the scent while you are using it and how it faintly lingers on your hands afterward.
I was able to try out this new product through the Influenster network. I am so excited to be a part of Influenster and sharing my opinions.
You can find it at your local WalMart, so I urge you to check out the new Palmolive products.

Typically, alcohol and chemicals are used to preserve products such as skin care products, but AnnMarie Gianni did their research and found alternative blends of natural oils and extracts instead. They stay true to their commitment to their customers and their expectations for natural products.

I love the fact that this company has such a commitment toward providing natural products. While I don't personally demand that all of the products that I use are natural, I can definitely vouch from my experiences that natural skin care products provide absolute results.
I got the opportunity to try out a variety of their products in sample sizes. With most, I got to try out multiple times, even with the trial size and I am so pleased with the result. The products leave your skin feeling fresh and clean.
Included in my packet, I received this very handy booklet that acts as a guide to all of their products. It lists the purpose, benefits, ingredients and instructions on how to use them. For instance, the purifying mud mask comes in a powder form. When I first opened it up, I wouldn't have known how to apply it or what to do with it. After checking the guide, I see that you wash your face, and while still wet, you make a paste in your hand with water and powder to apply onto your face. You leave it on for 15 minutes and rinse off. Now your face is so fresh feeling. I felt like I had a glow about me, and it's a great feeling.
I am so glad I got the opportunity to try out AnnMarie Gianni products and would definitely recommend them. I especially like the cleansers / masks that I can alternate their uses.
Check them out online and try them out for yourself. This would also make a great gift for a special someone in your life. They have gift sets and you can even try out one of their sample sets for only $10. That way you can try them out without a major cost out of pocket at first.

While browsing the Rendi site, there were so many more things that caught my eye. You can customize a piece including a photo, or even create an array, with a photo wall. I also really enjoy the products that you clip your own photo, so you can easily change out with photo as often as you'd like.

Do you avoid wearing seatbelts, just so that your seatbelt doesn't ruin your clothes? I hate it when the seatbelt wrinkles or bunches up your clothes, or the edges of the seatbelt catch on your blouse or sweater. Another seatbelt concern that I have is for shorter people like me, the edge of the seatbelt digs into my neck while I'm driving.

Designer Julie Bush Metcalfe set out to create a product to help us with just that problem. She has designed the brand JulesWrap which is a fashionable sleeve that fits over your seatbelt. The material is silky smooth and available in a wide variety of colors and prints.
We are constantly running around with our kids, to appointments, school, work, etc and the seatbelt is a hassle every step of the way. I've even tried using those little kid's safety clips but you have to un-hook it each time you got into the car, so I stopped using it.
I know that Julie created this product to rid the problem of ruined clothing, which is an issue, but my biggest relief from using this product is that the material is soft against my neck instead of the edge digging into it as usual. I do sometimes even put the top part of the seatbelt behind me or lean to the side (like I'm that cool, LOL) just to avoid the red marks on my neck.
I am so pleased with the product and it is the perfect length to fit the seatbelt in my car. Check out the many designs available. The one that I was sent to review is a pretty watercolor floral pattern, but there are others such as brown leopard and pink and brown paisley that caught my eye. You can express yourself with your own individual style.

I've been doing this for years and have found that it helps clean clothes and lessens the amount of stains that I find on my clothes. I personally use it in conjunction with Purex laundry soap and works great.
I've recently discovered that there are many other uses for Borax. You can use it as a cleaning agent, deodorizer or even more interesting uses such as treating homemade candle wicks, making green slime, and even growing crystals. (This I will definitely be trying with the kids)

As a member of Crowdtap, I was able to participate in another Old Navy Style Council sampling.

I received a coupon for myself and a coupon for a friend to receive a pair of Old Navy's Activewear. (One Top and One Bottom)

This is perfect timing with the new year and resolutions to be more fit, eat healthier and be more organized, these couldn't have come at a better time. I can wear my activewear while getting some jogging in.

This is the pair of activewear that I picked out. It's a sports bra and bicycle shorts that are made of Go-Dry moisture wicking material. It almost feels like a cross between spandex and a bathing suit. Each one fits me very snuggly and I like that the pads in the bra are removable for convenience. You can see pictured above that there is a significant opening that you can easily remove them when needed or if you wash it and need to adjust the padding, it can be done easily.

I gave my "friend" coupon to a friend who picked out a top and capri length bottoms. I don't have her pics, but I can show you a likeness from the site.

Adorable. I enjoy mine so much can't wait to put my outfit to good use this year.

Personalized items and gifts are so very precious to give and receive. I'm especially partial to personalized items of my children and family. I've had my children's images on mugs, calendars, journals and into photo books. I've discovered a whole new level of personalization.

Light Affection is an amazing company that makes a one-of-a-kind personalized photo light that come in various sizes and options. I got the opportunity to have a night light made and of course I chose to have it made from a photo of my children. I have been so excited about this and gush about it to anyone who will listen. This is truly one of my favorite things.....ever! I even thought about gifting it to someone for Christmas but couldn't part with it.

How does it work?

You send them a photo. Based on how big the item is, you may want to limit the amount of people in the photo. I was pushing the limit with 2 people in mine but there was just enough room for the night light. I used this photo below.

Light Affection carves the piece out of a very durable material that has a marble feel to it. It almost looks like a very hard white soap. The carving technique is similar to the one used in Lithophanes.

"Based on an age-old art form known as lithophanes (Greek for vision in stone), the engraving of an image comes to life when illuminated from behind. The varying thickness of the translucent material creates the illusion of the original image. Today, Light Affection is creating these pieces using modern, long-lasting materials that give this unique effect."

Because the material is translucent, it displays the illusion of the photo when held up to a light. It is said to last for hundreds of years without changing it's quality or color. That carved piece is put into a high quality wooden frame. The style and color will depend on which you choose.

Light Affection assembles it, so that there is a light behind the carving and the image is displayed illuminated when you switch it on. They arrive with the bulb already installed, so all you have to do is plug it in and turn it on. Each piece is truly unique and you will receive a card with it's own serial number assigned to it.

I tried to get as many angles as I could in the pics above to show you the intricacies of the product and carving. There is one in the middle of it almost from the side where you can see the carving with the highs and lows.

I am simply amazed at my new night light and how Light Affection managed to turn a simple photograph into this masterpiece. I have only positive things to say about the product and interaction with the company. I cannot express enough how much I adore it. These will make for a fantastic gift.

We all take extra precautions not only while travelling, but in our daily lives to ensure that we are victim to theft. Especially doing the work that I do, working in an emergency call center, my eyes are open to just how quickly and easily someone can fall victim of such crimes. We lock our doors when we leave our car in the parking lot, hold our strap to our purse a little tighter when walking through a mall, secure our money in banks, and even keep our important papers in personal safes within our homes.

This lock is rather small and lightweight. It has a flexible loop that you can easily maneuver between zipper holes of bags and luggage. It's not your standard lock, it actually secures with the ball being inserted into the lock and it securing as you move the combination codes to lock it.
The lock is a 3 digit combination which is not hard to remember. It's so simple to use and store. With it being a combination lock, you don't have to worry about losing the key, which I find extremely helpful.
I plan to use it for securing my luggage, although my daughter has already asked me if she can use it for her diary. You gotta love kids.
Master Lock is a household name which needs no boasting, but it's a product line that I trust fully and seek out when looking for quality in buying locks.
Everyone stay safe when travelling, secure your items and trust in Master Lock to be there with you keeping your items safe for you.

One the most precious things we have are the moments we experience while our children are learning all of their "firsts". One of the most fun and endearing times that I enjoyed during that time with my children was when they were learning to walk. We would spend hours having them holding onto our fingers as we let them "walk" assisted everywhere. They enjoy the sense of freedom but don't yet have the capability to do it on their own.
