How's your Syawal celebration, so far?

Me, nothing much happening...it's just a routine Eid celebration for each years...

The best to talk about Syawal, is the time for all of our family members to gathered, seek & give forgiveness to each other, enjoying good traditional foods cooked by mom, wearing colorful baju kurung, visiting grandpa & relatives at hometown, contributing the angpau(s) to the youngsters, and it makes me realize how lucky we are living in peaceful & harmony country, Malaysia!!

In the month of forgiveness, I'd like to say an apologize for any of my wrongdoings in the past months, which may hurts you, directly or indirectly, that causing you fall in the depth of sadness & unhappiness.

I am only human, may not be perfect all the time, but I do promise you (friends) to 'muhasabah'/improve myself for become a better person!

Sadness...

I was crying that night. Hopeless.

Can't remember when was the last time I cried so hard & felt so sad!

Deeply heartbroken!!!

Why me???

Some women are so lucky having men who's crazy over them. Even though the men are not really sincere towards the women he loved/liked, but still, u have choices to pick someone as your future husband...

I am not that lucky.

I've been dumb by the man i loved most, who's walkaway for a better women. It wasn't happened once.
It took me like forever to survived, to fade away the old memories of us!

What you've seen me today, never tells you of what I've been through in the past.
I was struggling hard to be strong enough, to put aside my feelings towards friends around me who've their own happy marriage life & surrounded by cute adorable kids...

I am thinking...At this age, my time is yet to come. Be patience. Who am I to question Allah for my destiny?

I do admit that i feel so lonely sometimes...Though working life occupied most of my time, there is a time when I'll start thinking of having my other half, to plan our future & build our dreams together.

To those lucky women,

you should be thankful enough tht u've someone to lean on, to support u thru thick & thin, to love u more than u love him...Don't compared your life with others married couple, but compared to single ladies out there. Be grateful of what you have. Nobody will have flawless relationship & perfect life.

what do i have as a single lady??? I have no man to hold his hand while we walk together, no man to comfort me when I am in sadness/insecure feelings, no man to be on my side whenever needed. I am just all alone, being an independent lady!

that's the reason, i need GOOD friends to overcome my loneliness, who appreciate me more...to give me strength that i am not alone..friend who knows me better than others...who give me courage to stand on my own feet, to keep me strong!

I was born as the only daughter among of 3 other siblings, until my age turned 13!

Grown up as the only girl during my childhood years, it was not bad at all as anyone could imagined.

I played street-fighter instead of pretty dolls. My role as 'Chunli' not the enchanted 'Barbie'.

Though, I sometimes have a fight with the boys who were my neighbors' kids. I still remember, one of the boy bite on my ear, painfully! Then, I kicked hard at his body, as a sweet revenge. He was ran away to his home, crying out loud! Haha...btw, it's wrestling game, so what else you should expected for? Smooth game, oh nooo??? ;P

Don't surprised that I even have my own football team. Do you still remember, that old days, when the kids played football-game which made from folded hardcover cards? The concepts it's quite similar to fussball, but the only different is the folded hardcover cards represented each of players. It was fun on how to perform ways of great techniques playing those cards just to shoot a goal.

I left behind all the hobbies when I entered boarding school. No more street fighter. No more football. All I do was study, books & study...all over again! Yes, pathetic, I was!!

All my 3 brothers are football fans, including dad. Hence, ESPN sport is our second-most-watching channel at home. Mind you, my brothers can named most of football players by only looking at their jersey's number from the back.

The only one who's always bugging the brothers by asking, "Who's that on jersey No.7?? He's handsomer than others!!!" Well, it's me...haha..

Date: 18-June-2011.

Time: 9am

Location: Mebenk Tower.

Situation:

There was a disaster reported, strong earthquake hit main KL city on early morning, and some of tall buildings were badly impacted including Mebenk Tower.

Lift operations were shut off immediately. The whole tower was black out from electricity power. Everyone was extremely panicky.

CHAOS.

There was an announcement instructed all employees to go down to the ground floor by taking emergency stairs. We moved fast towards the stairs.It's dark! Blindly. As we reached at the exit door, the smoke filled up the air.

Oh my goodness! Is this really a real ACTING????

We ran out quickly and gathered at open carpark behind Mebenk Tower. Seemed like everyone was out of clue. What's really happening?

A few minutes later, all the employees received a sms alert from their respective boss to inform on the situation. We have to replied back as "Noted" for acknowledgement of recipient. This is called as "Call-Tree Execution". Each employees have to response within a short time, otherwise the execution will declared as failure.

We took count of each members. One of us, was trapped in the building. Minor injury but she managed to find a way out.

As of 9.30am, our CEO announced the news on what had happened:

"3 found dead, a few still missing and Mebenk Tower is declared unsafe. No one is allowed to enter the building"

Team leader received a confidential envelope, which tells on next actions should be taken. The team leads have to follow the instructions accordingly. Some will received a mysterious calls from 'customers', who were actually our staffs acted as customers.

We need to have a backup plan for recovery. So, we were heading to the second office (as a backup place) for business continuity.

Faster..faster...we are under crisis...

Rarely can find me talking or sharing about my working life neither in FB nor blogging...

As my current working environment is in banking sector, my daily job is mostly engaged with corporate customers, including big GLCs and those customers who's giving us HUGE profits contribution. Prior to that, we are required to provide GREAT services to them as such a part of 'specialty'. We serve the best, konon lah tu..hehe.

Since day 1 when we've signed on our acceptance letter of working there, in officially all the entitled bank officers (which on certain grades level) are assigned under 'Legal - bank act', stated that none of us are allow to reveal customers information, which been remarked as P&C. I may know how many transactions they make in a single day, how much money they have, and how good their businesses are & growth going be. Interesting!

Some people who's love to be busy body of my progress in new working life, would like to know more on how am I doing so far? Is this new place is much much better than previous one? I have a lots to tell about my working life, but sometimes things are better left unsaid. ^^

One word. HECTIC! I couldn't agree more.

I would say that each industry offers different type of challenges in various of perspective. Definitely, it required me to work harder and moved fast in order to adapt the changes into new working environment. Next month, gonna be my 1st year working in banking sector. As of today, I've learnt a lot of valuable skills within this short of period; communications skills, decision making, being independent, self-confidence level, stress management, and the most among all is client network. I befriended with people from GLCs, sharing ideas, even more interesting is how to believed and practice that "Customers are always right no matter how wrong they are!" Haha..

Sooo, let's practice PROFESSIONALISM. Pls bear in mind, we might be imperfect, but to behave such attitude is professional enough.

This nomination is a part of activity for our department's team building which held in Pangkor Island last month.

(Yes, I should write about it later..~~or someday~~..or yes, maybe later..~~no time~~..) ;P

Unplanned Gateway

It has been a week since my last update. Oh! It's not that long, really?
I have so many things to write about, but so little time to spend with. Phewww!!
Still catching up to find tune here and there. Working life would never guarantee you a peace. Haha

Last two week, I went to Kuantan for a short road trip. It was a spontaneous idea came across my mind, a day before. Yeah! Last minute plan.

My ex-office mate now migrating to Kuantan for a better job offer from UMP. She's just got married last month and I've never visited her at new place.

As usual, cikros accompany me & become my loyal co-pilot. I drove for about 4hours to reached Gambang, Pahang. We were actually missed the first exit at Gambang, and had to u-turn at Kuantan instead. My first long-distance-road trip ever, and I was the only driver all the way to Kuantan. Super strong-driver, am I? Haha

We have our dinner at Santai Restaurant. I really loved the decorations, super awesome!

A garden atmosphere, decorated with greenery plants, a few bonsai trees a long the walk path, a small pond located in the middle. 3 choices for you to; in open space seating, or covered seating (under the roof of beautiful huts) & inside the restaurant's building itself. The deem lights from the lanterns, filled up the surrounding with romantic feelings.

A really beautiful place to dine in.

The foods are super delicious. I'd highly recommend their prawn butter, seriously yummy till licking your plate! Haha

After dinner, we went to Teluk Chempedak for a walk. It's really happening night, loaded with people especially families,couples & teenagers. Though, a few having a campfire on the beach.

Wow, the air so fresh. The sounds of waves splashing gracefully onto the sand beach. Very relaxing!

The next day, early in the morning, we had breakfast at Restaurant Zaman.

According to my friend, you should not missed to have breakfast here. A MUST place to go.

Seeeeee!!! Loaded with people. Though, I can see a lots of Chinese took their breakfast here, ate nasi lemak which wrapped with banana leaves ("daun pisang") and some took "roti canai".

1Malaysia spirit!!

Only me & cikros toured around Kuantan.

First, we went to Teluk Chempedak, again! Haha.

The sand castles are really nice, isn't?

Having fun around the beach. Blowing bubbles, behave like a kindergarten kids! ;D

We planned to take the river cruise along Sg Pahang. Unfortunately, we couldn't find where's the jetty.

So, we just walk around the Esplanade, located in Kuantan's Town

We visited Gambang Waterpark, but did not bought the ticket for watepark package.

Just walked in to see the exhibition of some extinction animals & endangered species; such as turtles, mermaids & fishes.

Last pit stop was in Pekan, Pahang's royal town.

We drove by the King Abu Bakar Palace. On our way home, we bumped in front of the most famous amos Murtabak Mengkasar. You should have a try to taste their murtabak, super big, full with meats & thick! It cost you RM6/piece (normal) or RM8/piece (special).

Though tired due to long-distance driving, we've enjoyed so much during the road trip.

I know it's 1.10am now. but I am to excited to share about it, here...

Almost screwed the plan, last night.

I've to cancel my half-day leave (sigh), managed to runaway early from office but stuck in the jam for almost 2hrs due to heavy rain & dinner started only at 9pm, super hungry! Super annoying, i am having a flu.

We've to rescheduled for 5times (i guess), went to outstation la etc..but finally after 2weeks...yeay!

Dinner at TGI Friday, i was really surprised when the TGI's staffs suddenly walked towards our table and make a loud-sound, something like a cheerleeding. Haha...

I was like-hey! what's going on? Everyone is watching us!!!

Then, I saw them bring together the flowers & cake, followed by the announcement.

Gosh! I thought someone is proposing me..LOL! okeh, that was a joke! Hehe...

Then, they sang loudly a birthday's song, for me. I feel wanna cry that moment. Honestly, it was unexpected.

Dear my bestfriends, this is the sweetest things you've done for me. rasa mcm nak nangis! my fav color of flower, my fav ice-cream cakes, you guys are AWESOME!!!!

Everyone is talking about the Royal Wedding, between Pince William & Kate, was held last Friday. It seemed been published everywhere on earth; from the newspapers to the tv media and the internet, youtube etc. Pheww~~

What a history! A wedding of a decade?? Of course, they are. The long awaited wedding in the world. A fairy tales turned into reality. An ordinary girl from a middle-class family finally meet her own prince charming, a true prince of heir to the British throne.

I was one of billions people who witnessed the big day. Admired with Kate's wedding gown, simplicity is her trademark. Gorgeous, elegant style, classic but mixed with modern touched, and her contagious smile is enough to mesmerized the world itself.

Apparently, I did not managed to wait until their first kiss as husband & wife, from the Buckingham's Palace balcony. I was rushing to Malacca for my best friend's wedding ceremony.

I reached Malacca at late midnight, as I was lost on my way to the hotel. So, I called up the groom for a help. Haha...ok...lesson learnt, I should get a GPS for future. *sigh*
