With our June 2022 Launch, Timberlake is greatly expanding our product offering by introducing a variety of new finishes, cabinet sizes, hardware, and range hoods – creating a much more modern finish palette and providing the decorative flourishes that are in demand.

Four new finishes are being added to the Timberlake palette:

Maple Latte – A rich, brownish-gray stain with a neutral balance of color

Painted Vanilla – A soft, creamy off-white that gravitates slightly more warm than Linen

Painted Biscotti Glaze – With a Painted Vanilla base coat, a dark glazing is added to provide subtle contrast and interest

Painted Black – Bold and eye-catching, a crisp black paint with just the right touch of sheen

Alongside these finish additions, we are expanding and refreshing other facets of the offering:

Expanding SKU selection of various cabinet sizes, to accommodate more modern appliances and designer trends

Refreshed hardware offering, with new, trend-forward pieces and an expansion of popular hardware finishes, including Modern Brushed Gold, Matte Black, and Brushed Copper

Modernized range hood additions, with a focus of providing more designer-centric styles that homeowners demand

For the sixth and final part of our ServicePoints series, we are closing the story on the process with Punchout & Completion – the final steps we take to ensure both the builder and homeowner experience positive changes in ownership.

The home building process is often chaotic – the modern homebuilding company today employs many different independent contractors to complete their communities, typically managed by a staff of job supervisors and/or production staff.

A Service Technician reviewing all the fine details of a soon to be complete home.

During this hectic process is when cabinetry is installed. After installation, many more trades will visit the property for a myriad of services, including the installation of flooring, tops, and appliances. All are trades that require heavy tools, a multitude of materials, and are opportunities to damage the cabinetry.

The Timberlake team will work with the builders to coordinate proper times for installation, as well as continue to check the cabinetry post-installation to ensure correct installation and that the cabinetry is undamaged by other trades.

Completion & The Final Walkthrough

One of the closing moments in the home building process is the final walkthrough with the homeowner. During this time, the homeowner makes their final requests for parts of the home that are not up to their standards or appear incorrect – typically marking them with blue tape along with the job supervisor. After marks have been made, the job supervisor reaches out to the appropriate contacts to complete work. When cabinetry issues arise, the Timberlake field operations team is called in to complete touchups, damaged product swaps, or other issues that may have arisen during the completion of the home. Field operations will move to complete the required changes in the small window of time provided, even leveraging the Timberlake Rapid Response replacement program should any parts of the cabinetry require a hard swap.

A finished kitchen in Orlando, Florida.

Since cabinetry is typically one of the last elements of a housing project prior to closing, Timberlake operations make a significant effort to fix outstanding issues within small gaps of time, as closing with outstanding issues is less than ideal. With the infrastructure in place to have Field Service Technicians visit the location in addition to the Rapid Response replacement program and localized stock of common parts to assist in issues, Timberlake does an outstanding job of being prepared for issues that arise.

Thank you for joining us for the sixth and final part of the ServicePoints series. Many cabinetry providers can deliver an excellent product, but at Timberlake, we go further with our builder partners – we provide unparalleled service that makes a complicated facet of the process painless and smooth.

For the fifth part of our ServicePoints series, we are going out into the field! Once we have completed the measuring and ordering steps, we will turn our focus to cabinet delivery and how our operations teams coordinate installations.

Determining the Delivery

Cabinetry delivery is coordinated in partnership with third-party networks that are measured and properly trained to handle cabinetry. While our packaging greatly reduces scuffs, dings, and scratches that can occur, rough handling can still cause significant aesthetic or structural damage. Choosing the right transportation partners has been paramount in our growth and success.

Timberlake logistic teams work with carriers and manufacturing to align schedules to ensure cabinetry is delivered to the construction site prior to the installers arriving. Typically, this aligns anywhere from a week to a few days prior to the install date. Once on the job site, the home is locked and secured to minimize other trade damage or jobsite theft and will remain inside until the install date.

Pat working on aligning cabinetry in the kitchen.

Timberlake’s B2B model of managing the order to delivery process has been paramount to our growth as a business over the last decade – with extraordinary service and reliability that has made us the sole cabinetry provider with many of our builder partners.

Cabinetry Installers

Timberlake field operations work with cabinetry installers to create schedules for install dates in their market. All installers go through Timberlake specific training to ensure they perform quality installations.

To get a closer look at how the install works, we went out into the field and spent time with two of our installers, Pat and Vinny, a team of brothers who have over 500 installs to their name – and they are still in their 30s!

A typical day begins at 5 AM – waking up, no breakfast but coffee, and a quick inventory of equipment and logistics, and out the door they go. Since physical addresses aren’t established yet, they double-check the lot and subdivision they have been assigned to for the day, and head out to arrive at 7 AM.

Being a two-man team, they start by offloading saws and other equipment needed for the day, and begin taking inventory of the cabinetry. If everything checks out, they begin unpacking and marking locations for placement.

Aligning and installing hardware.

Different crews manage the process differently; however, Pat and Vinny divide and conquer – Pat focuses on cabinetry placement and fastening to the walls, while Vinny performs tasks such as crown molding installation , trim placement, and decorative hardware installation. Using laser guides alongside a sharp understanding of Timberlake product, cabinets are aligned and set in place in short order. Wall cabinets go up first to allow crown to be cut and installed as Pat moves onward to the base cabinets. Within a short amount of time, the overall shape of the kitchen comes together quickly, as they continue to measure and align cabinetry to the space. The goal of Timberlake installers to install all the cabinetry and leave the house in a next trade ready position so the overall build can stay on schedule for on-time delivery to the homeowner.

Finishing touches on drawer alignment.

Together, they can complete the entire house within four hours – and now it awaits countertop installation via the countertop contractor. Fortunately, the next house on the list is right next door – a very similarly styled kitchen that will also be completed in roughly 4 hours. Smaller homes can take hours while larger homes can involve more complex installation that require days. Few crews can handle two houses in a single day as a two-man crew, but the experience and efficiency Pat and Vinny bring allows the work to get done swiftly and accurately.

Thank you for joining us for our Delivery and Install ServicePoints entry – next up, Punchout & Completion!

ServicePoints Series – Measure & Order

For the fourth part of our ServicePoints series, we will be looking at how we verify kitchen and bath designs for a new home, and how all the details are accounted for when we submit the order to our manufacturing plant. In both processes, our goal is to be thorough, efficient and communicate with the builder when questions arise.

The Measuring Process

Once Timberlake is notified that the builder is starting a house, we track the progress at the location to make sure our field supervisor is there at the right time to measure and verify the kitchen using the builder’s blueprints and the physical space. Because new houses often don’t have addresses at the beginning of the building process, we geo-tag the kitchen location to make sure we have an easy way to verify that we’re in the correct home.

The field supervisor will measure the physical kitchen space once the interior walls are framed and the subfloor is in – ideally the day after the stairs are set, before plumbing and electrical are in. We keep tabs on the progress of the house, record milestones in the project file and regularly check-in to make sure the field supervisor is there at the right time to measure, consult and find answers to any questions that arise.

The field supervisor will use the builder’s layout to make sure the original design is still accurate, and we can adjust where needed. Often, in a bathroom for instance, we’ll need to swap drawer locations or change the swing of a door. Sometimes in a kitchen, a door opening or return wall will vary from the original plans. Maybe the homeowner decided on a different trim level. That’s why we send a field supervisor up front to measure and verify the design with the builder’s plans – it’s a lot easier to make the change now, versus when we’re working with finished cabinetry on installation day.

The field supervisor will get sign-off on any changes from the builder, create a specific installation packet for the house, and prepare the finalized cabinet specifications for ordering. Using that information, our in-house ordering team will again, verify the design and fill in any final missing information. The measurement and verification process takes about an hour on-site. The field supervisor will use the install packet during the final walkthrough after the cabinet installation, to make sure both the builder and homeowner will be happy with the final product.

Ordering

Once the builder’s plan is measured and verified, our ordering processor transfers the builder layout and notes into a final Timberlake layout for our ordering system. The order processor verifies the measured layout against the original builder selections for the home, paying attention to the details that can sometimes be overlooked in the process. The order processor also incorporates the selection sheet sent from the builder that contains details such as the homeowner’s door style, finish, and decorative hardware selections.

We make sure that the hardware selected works with the specific door and drawer styles in the order, countertop selections are updated, the correct faucet is accounted for, and we verify upgrades and all the other options to make sure the order is accurate and complete.

The last thing the order processor does is make sure the pricing is accurate and agrees with the initial design. Once these steps are complete, all the cabinets and parts for an order are automatically generated systematically and input into the ordering system with minimal manual order entry, further reducing the opportunity for errors. We make sure the builder and the homeowner receive the exact product requested, which sets us up for a successful installation by our expert team of Timberlake installers.

Thank you for joining us for the fourth installation of our ServicePoints blog series! We hope you have learned a little more about the measure and ordering processes involved in preparing the cabinetry order for a new home. Next up, we will be featuring our Deliver & Install processes.

To differentiate ourselves in the industry, we have created the Timberlake ServicePoints – six foundational concepts that our teams follow to educate our partners about the value we bring to the homebuilding process. While there are many cabinetry companies that can manufacture cabinetry, we handle the installation volume, accuracy, and attention to detail that modern builders require. The six ServicePoints are:

Trend Knowledge

Design & Quote

Manufacturing

Measure & Order

Deliver & Install

Punchout & Completion

In this third blog post, we are focused on our manufacturing process. We opened the doors to our first manufacturing plant in 1980. Today, with over 17 manufacturing plants in North America, we are 10,000+ employees strong and we manufacture tens of thousands of cabinets per day. Let’s take a “tour” through our process from start to finish!

Kiln dried lumber being moved to the manufacturing floor.

Lumber Dimensioning Mills: The manufacturing process starts with raw lumber coming through the mill. It is graded when it arrives, and then dried in kilns to the proper moisture content suitable for finished cabinetry in the home. Dried lumber is dimensioned to size in preparation for additional machining that converts it to various components. Naturally occurring defects in the lumber are also removed at this stage. All this lumber will eventually become drawer fronts, doors, frames or other features in our customer’s dream kitchens and other living spaces!

Component Machining and Assembly: Once dimensioned lumber (called chop-stock) is produced it is further machined into individual components. This involves cutting the lumber to the proper lengths, profiling, and drilling. Extra care must be taken during this stage to achieve precision, to ensure these components can eventually be assembled into various finished cabinet parts. These individual components are assembled into cabinet parts that now only lack the final finish color specified by the customer. Various fasteners, including gluing, stapling, pinning, screwing, doweling, and other woodworking techniques are used to assemble individual components into drawer fronts, doors, and face frames. These parts eventually will make up the face or front of our cabinetry, which is the most visible part of a cabinet and what truly brings a kitchen to life.

Stacks of flatstock prior to manufacturing.

Finishing: Our unfinished cabinet components are now ready to be finished. Before finish is applied, the components must be prepped for finish. The key here is preparation, preparation, and more preparation! Components are sanded using both automated machinery in addition to the human touch with hand sanding to assure that the component will properly accept and adhere to the finish that is about to be applied. The finishing process accomplishes several things. First, for stains, finishing brings out the natural beauty and characteristics of the wood. For painted finishes, which are very popular customer selections in today’s cabinet market, the goal is to achieve a consistently smooth surface with a very consistent opaque color that totally hides the substrate beneath. Finally, the finishing process adds durability to the components. The final top-coating process applies a clear coat of finish that is very durable and will stand the test of time in a home. The topcoat provides for a consistent level of shine (called sheen) on the finished part, while protecting against spills, dents, and naturally occurring humidity changes in the home.

Flat-Stock: Now that we have the face of a cabinet ready for assembly, the components that make up of the rest of the cabinet box need to be prepped. These other components, such as side panels, tops, bottoms, shelves, and backs must be cut to size and finished. These components start as 4’ x 8’ boards of furniture board that are cut to size, grooved, and bored using a highly-automated manufacturing process. Plywood is used for our more premium-priced cabinetry. These components are finished using lamination, edge banding, painting, and staining depending on the construction option selected by our customers. Once finished and sized appropriately, these components are now ready to become a cabinet!

Cabinets being scanned prior to shipping.

Cabinet Assembly: Prior to cabinet assembly, all required components for a cabinet are grouped as a cabinet kit. All the cabinets on a Timberlake order are grouped together during production. They are built and sequenced one order at a time. The cabinet box is assembled first, which consists of the face frame and all the components that make up the box behind the frame. The completed cabinet box then continues through the process. Doors, drawers, and other factory installed accessories, such as pull-out wastebaskets or cutlery dividers, are installed and added as ordered. Thousands upon thousands of potential combinations and sizes exist and it takes an entire team who take each part and craft together the finished cabinet. Automation and technology built into the process assure that the finished cabinet matches all the attributes ordered for a particular cabinet. Prior to packaging and shipping, a final inspection occurs to assure that the cabinet matches what was ordered, and that the cabinet is defect-free. If it does not meet our standards or is missing an option ordered by the customer, the cabinet is rebuilt or repaired and brought into specification.

Shipping: All of the cabinets in a kitchen are loaded onto the proper truck and are now on the way to their final destination where they will be installed with other accessories to become a beautiful Timberlake kitchen, bath, or other living space. This concludes our journey from raw lumber to a finished cabinet ready to go into a newly constructed home.

Thank you for joining us for the third installation of our ServicePoints blog series! We hope you have learned a little more about the manufacturing processes involved in bringing cabinetry installed in a new home to life. Next up, we will be featuring our Measure & Order process.

For the second part of our ServicePoints series, we will be taking a look at the importance of Design & Quote in the transaction process. For our production builder customers, they rely on us to be precise, timely, and efficient to support their timelines. For some homebuilding suppliers, the only variable needed during the homebuilding process is quantity – windows, flooring, tile, and concrete are all materials that can be bought in bulk (and are mass produced) and are modified on-<s> </s>site to fit the plan. Cabinetry is a step beyond – where it  requires an order to be placed, manufactured, and then transported to the jobsite.

As a cabinetry supplier, we provide design services for the models of a community, as well as quoting the individual cost of the sum of units to the builder. This work is not automated, and requires designers and estimators to work in tandem on our side of the business to create successful transactions. This leaves a lot of room for error – especially if the process is not well-developed. With Timberlake, we excel in the design & quote phase of the process, with an extended team of certified designers and personnel responsible for ensuring quotes are accurate.

So, what does the design process entail? Our sales representatives begin this phase by working with a builder to craft an offering. Offerings are a selection of products available to the end-consumer for a given community that reflect the price range & aesthetic tastes of a community. With that offering in place, work begins to go to the designers of a local service center, who take the architect’s plans and create cabinetry layouts for kitchens, bathrooms, and other spaces where cabinetry will be installed.

It All Starts with Design

Tracey Burrell-Combs has been a designer with American Woodmark for 17 years, and has worked with national builders such as Toll Brothers, NVR, Ashton Woods, and Taylor Morrison. Over the course of her career, she has seen how impactful well-designed kitchen layouts can be for the homeowner by making spaces that are inviting and welcoming – cementing ideas of ownership in potential homebuyers.

Typically the process begins with the builder sending current layouts or housing blueprints for the designers. The design staff begins to use the pre-existing layouts or craft their own to fit the builder wishes – considering styling, functionality, and size.

“Kitchens and baths are among the most important factors potential home buyers take into consideration when purchasing a home. The importance of good design cannot be overstated,” Tracey shares. Depending on the builder, Timberlake designers may have up to 20 different layouts per house model to accommodate for different upgrade options that impact the kitchen, bathrooms, mudrooms, wet bars, and other areas that feature cabinetry. These layouts are all designed in 2020 (a cabinetry designing & visualization tool) and then presented to the stakeholders for approval and implementation.

CKBD Designer Tracey Combs & Operations Manager Ron Jolly

Is the Price Right?

Quoting seems like it would be an easy part of the process, but it has ramifications for the builder and supplier if completed by accuracy. With an industry that has over a thousand individual SKUs, there are lots of variables to consider and double check when a quote is issued. Internally, we have a robust process in place to provide builders quotes quickly and accurately using a team of designers & estimators alongside a proprietary quoting software called QUEST. After rounds of proofing, the teams then send back the estimate alongside visualization layouts from 2020 to create a completed package for a builder to accept, or, request additional changes.

“The design must be right the first time since the layouts and quotes are used over and over.” Tracey says. “One mistake of ten dollars can quickly become a thousand-dollar mistake if not caught immediately.”

At the end of the day, the business transaction can take multiple forms. Some builders want line item pricing – whatever the individual cost of the kitchen is, they agree to pay the total. Others, depending on the partnership, prefer a flat price per house – which can create easier financials and reduce complexity in the transaction process. The depth of our system and staff allows a myriad of pricing options to take place, so we can easily partner with builders of all sizes and keep business and product flowing without delay.

Tucson Painted Linen & Painted Sage Kitchen – Visual from 2020 Design

A Local Advantage

Timberlake has been in the business of supplying homeowners and builders with cabinetry for over 20 years, and has used that time to create an ecosystem of processes, staffing, and knowledge that makes the design & quote aspects of partnership superior to other suppliers. And better yet, our builders will receive dedicated builder service representatives and designers that work on their account to keep transactions flowing smoothly.

The kitchen designers of Timberlake Cabinetry are one of the cornerstones of our business, and with their help, create exceptional builder – supplier relationships that benefit both parties. If you’ve ever walked into a kitchen that has taken your breath away, made you marvel at the space, or made you feel immediately at home – you have a designer to thank for that experience.

Thank you for joining us for the second part of our ServicePoint blog series. Next up – Manufacturing!

As a way to differentiate ourselves in the industry, Timberlake has created the Timberlake ServicePoints – six foundational concepts that our teams follow to educate our partners about the value we bring to the homebuilding process. While there are many cabinetry companies that can manufacture and install cabinetry, we can handle the installation volume, accuracy, and attention to detail that modern builders require. The six ServicePoints are:

Trend Knowledge

Design & Quote

Measure & Order

Manufacturing

Deliver & Install

Punchout & Completion

In this blog series, we will be taking each of the six ServicePoints and showing our competitive advantage in the market, and also highlighting members of our teams that exemplify the work we do every day. For our first in the series, we will be working with Heidi McGeachy – one of our Timberlake Sales Representatives – and how she uses industry trend knowledge to make her builder customers more successful in the highly competitive northern Virginia market.

Trend Knowledge

Heidi McGeachy – Timberlake Sales Representative

Northern Virginia, or as locals refer to it as “NOVA,” radiates outward from the nation’s capital and has seen home prices surge steadily upwards since the economic downturn of the 2008-2009 era. NOVA is the largest concentration of government workers and contractors in the United States, and has become a new eastern shore hub for tech companies including Google, Microsoft, and more. The builders that work in the area have all flourished – with housing starts growing year-over-year. In areas where land is a premium, alternative solutions to traditional single-family homes have emerged, such as large-scale multi-family projects, townhomes, and condo variations. As a supporting manufacturer in the homebuilding industry, it has also meant year-over-year growth for Timberlake. Part of that success is the trend knowledge that Timberlake brings to the partnerships – providing on-trend products that customers want, and creating model homes with our partners that inspire upgrades. Consumer preferences in kitchens have gravitated away from traditional oak and maple-based cabinetry, and Timberlake has released new painted finishes that have changed our market saturation from being predominately wood stains to overwhelmingly paint-based to reflect this evolution.

Knowledge is Power

Heidi McGeachy is a Timberlake Sales Representative that has over 15 years experience in designing kitchens and building relationships with builders. A large part of her role is crafting offerings and promoting methods that homebuilders can use to upsell cabinetry during the selection process. Cabinetry is often regarded as one of the most important upgrades during the selection process – and Heidi has worked with her customers to create spaces that amaze.

An important part of this relationship is advising builders how to craft offerings that their sales representatives can understand, and then utilize sales tools to convince <s>&</s> sell homebuyers on going deeper into the offering. Currently, the multitudes of more recessed styled doors with mixes of paint are the most popular options, so positioning doors styles that fit this want into more of a mid-level upgrade option benefits the business partners. For builders who tend to have more customers not spending more in upgrades, Heidi and other Sales Representatives use Duraform, a proprietary MDF material, to fit the need of a painted look while also providing exceptional durability.

“Duraform is a fantastic product, offering the look of painted cabinetry without many of the drawbacks associated with painted wood.”
Heidi McGeachy

One of Heidi’s customers is Van Metre Homes. Founded in 1955, Van Metre homes is one of the largest production homebuilders in the Northeast today – with a strong focus on attention to detail and providing an exemplary customer experience – and is responsible for hundreds housing starts annually. In the highly competitive NOVA market – they are one of many large-scale production homebuilders competing for buyers. Van Metre home production continued almost uninterrupted during the onset of COVID-19, with some supply and labor shortages, but a non-stop customer demand. Single-family starts tend to be the vast majority of Van Metre’s projects; however, they engage in retirement home communities as well as townhome inspired projects.

Heidi has used her experience to create offerings for the various community types Van Metre builds that promote upgrades and sensible products that fit the overall aesthetics of the community. In her Van Metre retirement community, the offering gravitates much towards warmer finishes in the maple species, with warmer off-white colors such as Silk, Hazelnut Glaze, and Ember Glaze being favorite selections. In more of the suburban locations in proximity to Baltimore or Washington DC, her single-family locations have gravitated strongly to Duraform, which provides the look of painted cabinetry with superior performance.

Van Metre Homes – Meadowbrook Farm

The Power of Power BI

Heidi uses Power BI, a Microsoft-based analytics tool, with her leadership team to help refine offerings for builders such as Van Metre. If a product mix gravitates strongly in a direction of being less popular, overwhelming the selections in lieu of upgraded products, or is never selected – Power BI can provide data to reinforce offering change-ups to something that has a healthier migration upwards in product selection. “Power BI is helpful when revamping a builder’s offering,” Heidi says. “I use it to see which door styles can be removed due to low sales volume. I can also keep an eye on the sales mix and focus training as needed to help design center consultants or model home associates feel more comfortable with the features and benefits of our upgraded products.”

When you combine the stylistic understanding of the cabinetry industry as well as the data analytics via our robust array of tools, you get a powerful combination that allows Timberlake personnel to craft targeted offerings that maximize upgrades. And when our builders are maximizing upgrades – the vendor/supplier relationship can truly flourish.

Thank you for joining us for part 1 of 6 of our ServicePoints blog series. Over the next several months, we will continue to highlight our amazing team and the builders who trust us with their business. See you next time!

You remember the mudroom, right? Well, the mudroom has a new face, new functionality, and a new name: The Drop Zone.

As school begins, we start to get busy with homework and projects, but we are mostly busy with all of those after school activities. You know what I am talking about. PTA meetings, soccer practice, soccer games, flag football practice, flag football games, ballet, The Little Gym, and the list goes on! Your leisurely summer schedule comes to an abrupt halt and the need for an organized after school schedule becomes imperative! Since this is the first year that my little guy can actually participate in fun “after PRE-school” activities, and my daughter is in school all day, I have a new “game-on” time which is the 3:00 to 6:00 hours. We need to pack those three hours with a little “homework,” fun outdoor activities, and a bunch of transporting and unbuckling of car and booster seats!

So, lately, I have especially seen the need to create a sort of “command center” or “drop zone” in our home so that our whole family knows who is going where and who is doing what each day. I also needed a nice spot to place all of the items coming in and out of our home and make it look organized. It’s the place where you put the lunch boxes, backpacks, shoes, papers, mail that you promise you are going to go through tomorrow. I have been eyeing all of those cool “command centers” and luxurious entryways to homes in Pottery Barn and Pinterest. Some have their own built-in cubbies for each child, and some have awesome calendars, to-do lists, grocery lists, etc… all posted and displayed in the most organized and decorative way. Let’s get real here…most people that I know don’t have that perfect spot in their home, so they are left to create one on a small wall or spot that may not be perfectly ideal. That is my situation, and I decided to create my own drop zone in the most ideal spot in my home, which is actually my very small mudroom/pantry/laundry room. Let me begin by saying that even though I am a very organized person, I am not a very crafty person. I do love a beautiful (and clean) home, but I am not going to create things from scratch and sit on my computer for an hour to make a pretty color-coded child calendar (although, I might like to do that if I had a lot more time on my hands and certainly if a client requested one). Anyway, the thing is that you can get as fancy or go as simple as you want. Hopefully, some of these ideas will inspire you to create your own command center. But most importantly, if you add these 4 parts to your drop zone you will be well on your way to an organized school year.

In response to increasing customer preference for lighter shades in kitchen and bath design, Timberlake Cabinetry, a leading supplier to the new construction market, has extended its premium painted Linen finish into new collections, representing a variety of affordable painted options.

Linen is the first painted finish made available in the Timberlake® Portfolio® series—specifically on the Sonoma® and Tahoe® collections. It’s a natural for Sonoma and its sleek, contemporary interpretation of Shaker styling, while Tahoe offers the premium finish on its recessed center panel door with a triple-carved inside edge for a traditional aesthetic.

Tucson® is the most recent Portfolio Select® collection to include the painted Linen finish. It brings a clean white appearance to the Tucson beadboard center panel, creating a wainscoting look and cottage feel. This brings the total number of Portfolio Select collections with this popular painted finish to five, including Sierra Vista®, New Haven®, Rushmore® and Wyoming®.

“Providing builders with affordable choices to design and build homes that attract and sell is basic to our definition of service,” said Perry Campbell, Timberlake Senior Vice President and General Manager. “When our customers told us they needed this top-selling finish in additional styles and price points, we responded.”

The Sonoma painted Linen finish is showcased in the carriage suite and laundry at The New American Home 2014, the annual showcase house of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), presented in conjunction with the International Builders’ Show in Las Vegas, NV, February 4-6, 2014.
