Portlandia
She kneels down
and from the quietness
of copper
reaches out.
We take that stillness
Into ourselves,

“I want to thank everyone at the Sounders organisation for 5 amazing years. I also want to thank the fans, especially all the supporter groups, for supporting me since the day I came to this city. I enjoyed my years at this club, the first 2 years were great on the pitch and then came some injuries that slowed me down, but I always felt your support. Even during my lowest moments I had the support of Adrian, Chris, Sigi, and the coaching staff. I am grateful for that. When one door closes, another one usually opens and so I am happy and excited at what lies ahead in my next phase. My only goal and hope is to remain healthy so I can fulfill my potential. That’s what drives me at this point. I am thankful for the memories made in Seattle, and for the friendships formed with my teammates, staff, the fans, and the whole city of Seattle in these past 5 years. I will hold those memories dear to my heart forever. Thank you Seattle!!! I want to thank the Portland Timbers for selecting me today and I look forward to working with my former college coach once again.
