2nd Batch of "New" Old Amaco House Series Push Molds.

This is the 2nd batch that I had recently acquired. These are ”Out of Production” Amaco Push Molds. They are from the ” House Front” Country Series. They are brand new, but do not come in original packaging. I’ve limited quantities of them and are selling them at more than 50% discount. Once they are gone, there will not be any more of them coming in.

These are some very limited Amaco stock which I acquired recently, I’m selling them at a very discounted price of more than 50% from the original price, they are brand new but does not come with the original packaging. Great for those quick fix projects and yes they are very good for details and great with different types of clay and fondant/sugar paste too!

We've just brought in some new Fimo products like the "Quick Mix" for those hard to condition polymer clay (works for other brands of polymer clay too), "Colours Kits" sets that comes with gloss varnish as well, just great for those quick projects, and yes inlcluded in the kits are some very useful instructions guide for a few projects (full coloured)

Oh yes, the "Pastell" and "Indian Summer" Colour Kits contains some of the new yummy Fimo Soft colours like "Vanilla", "Aqua" and "Rose"

My little vacation :)

A Little spring break at our studio, where we ventured out to see cherry blossom and enjoy the cool weather. I gave myself a little treat this April for a short getaway from hot Singapore. A very raw treat as this is not a holiday season here, left the kids in good hands and enjoy a bit of my time, aah bliss….I should do this more often ^-^

Although a total of 7 hours (2 sessions) were spent on making them, I’m sure everyone of them has enjoyed the process of making them as much as I did. ^-^

I have not had a workshop for the little one (5/6years old) for a long while and I seems to forget the the great satisfaction and achievement that I get from all the smiling and happy faces that I saw in everyone after they complete their pieces. We had such a great time together last week and I look forward to seeing them soon!

New Polymer Clay Jewelry Making Class For Beginners (Black and White Series)

Learn how to make classic black and white checked or candy clay canes to create your own polymer clay beads necklace. This workshop will be great for beginners who have not tried their hands on polymer clay beads making and also do not have the luxury of time for the polymer clay beads making course (5 sessions), but would love to learn the art of clay beads jewelry making. Absolutely no prior experience required at all.

In this 3 hr workshop, you will learn the basic of canes and beads making and some tips on baking technique etc, you will also get to choose to make either one of the design of necklaces (as seen in the pictures above) with some variations of your own.

This 1 session workshop will consist of 2 parts with the first part on the canes and beads making and the second part will be focusing on designing the necklace. Basic beading techinque will be taught with the good supply of swarovaski crystals, pearls and quality findings available for use.

There are 2 dates available for you to choose.

Date: 24 March 12 (Sat)- Workshop 2

Scenic Winter Holiday

We were away for almost half of December for winter holiday which the kids longed for. A very much needed break..after working hard for the whole year. The year end is alway a period that I looked forward to, maybe its the holiday season..telling us that its time to take a rest, have a break and be merry.
Being away for more than 10 days allows us ample time to visit a few provinces, I didn’t appreciate China when I was much younger, always thinking that its a place for old folks…maybe its the age. I really enjoy sipping tea at the little indie cafes along the small rivers and little bridges of Suzhou, enjoying the magnificent view of the giant Buddha and Lingshan Fangong in Wuxi and taking a leisure sail boat ride in Hangzhou’s Xi Hu (West Lake). Shanghai was very much like Singapore in every way…a busy city. The temperature was an average of 3-4 degree Celsius with a few days of -1 , the kids were hoping to see snow, but unfortunately it didn’t..much to their disappointment. Neverthless we totally enjoyed our stay there, and looking forward to another winter holiday soon ^-^!

We have been kept busy with quite a few workshops before we set off for our year end vacation this 18-31 Dec. This year we have been keeping ourselves busy with moving to a bigger studio space and conducting some workshops in between.
