Hai hai para blogger sudah lama ngga nulis nulis blog lagi hehehe, maklum sekarang saya di tugas i untuk mengawasi website bem fakultas, yaa proyek baru tapi ngga buat waktu kuliah menjadi berkurang, sudah hobi jadi fun aja.

O iya sahabat blogger saya mau kenalin website yang saya buat dan saya awasi sendiri kali ini jeng jeng

Tampilan nya minimalis ya hehe, maklum kesukaan ku ya tampilan sederhana tapi masih kelihatan menarik, bukan ribet yang terkesan rusuh dan ngga atusan. maaf kalo ada yang tersungging eh tersinggung.

Sebetulnya saya ngga sampai di sini aja sih dari buat web dan cuma ngisi - ngisi artikel ,tapi saya juga harus menjaga web ini dari ancaman para hacker dan crawler yang iseng dengan web ini..

Dulu saya pernah buka website untuk ekstrakulikuler di sekolah sma ku yang lumayan bagus di kampung halaman, wawasan ku dulu tentang website masih cupu banget, dan masih kalah jauh dengan yang uda master master yang baca blog ku ini, makasih ya master :)

kalo master punya id kaskus kapan kapan tak kasih like post nya hehehe...

Dulu pengalam ku kena hack sampai 3 kali dan harus bangun lagi web nya sampai 3 kali, cupu banget kan di bodohi sama bot komputer yang hacking otomatis dan aku harus manual bangun web nya, muak banget aku sampe aku ngga pernah tidur dan cuma mantegin web ku dulu, huft..

sial nya lagi ngga ada pembantu dari temen ku ekstrakulikuler yang membantu aku hadeh rasanya apes banget aku di kasi tugas ginian.. tapi ngga masalah, dari situ aku malah dapet ilmu yang lumayan banyak tentang web dan scurity nya hehe.. tapi tetap masi kalah ama yang baca blog ini.. master emang hebat :plok : plok :plok

Semenjak itu aku mengikuti acara event tentang fotografi dan jurnalis blog.. lho kok gak nyambung ya.. eh tenang dulu dari situ aku di suruh belajar untuk menulis dengan benar lah itu adalah pelajaran yang sangat berharga dari web atau blog yang kalian sajikan ke masyarakat, kosakata harus memenuhi 5W 1H ribet kan, ngga cuma asal nyepos langsung ngetik kayak ketikan ku ini -__-

Dari situ oke lah aku ngga dapet juara sampe akhirnya aku 3 kali ikut acara dengan penyelenggara yang berbeda beda tapi masi belum dapet haduh sial juga ternyata...

Sampai akhirnya ada suatu event yang sangant spesial yang saya banggakan, saat itu aku bekerja dengan 5 team acara nya sih keren "LOMBA WEB COMPETITION DARI RADAR KEDIRI" waoo, eh keren kan.. ini baru pertama kali aku ikut lomba kayak gini dan baru pertama kali dengan team yang sangat okee aku titttt.. entar agak turun sedikit ya emosinya..

Dan setelah aku berjuag pulang pergi kediri - nganjuk, karena rumah saya di nganjuk (ndeso) dan anak ndeso yang ngeksis di kediri, dan aku bangun web pinjem komputer sampai pinjem internet seadanya pokoknya ujan" deres, tak kasi jas hujan komputernya, pulang pagi" di marahi ortu, di kunci dari luar dan paginya baru dibuka karena ortuku baru bangun pagi, lalu sekolah sampe ketiduran di kelas pokoknyaa penuh perjuangan banget sampai jatuh dari motor itu bukan salahku karena yang nggonceng temen ku, dia nerobos lampu merah karena acaranya keburu dimulai pp ngabisin bensin sehari 10 rb jaman dulu uang saku ngga cukup minta mamah mulu... kasian banget mamah...

Dan akhirnya ananda anakmu ini mendapat juara dan promosi ke koran radar kediri wawoooo saking gembiranya sampai jungirbalik dan ngga balik" hahahaha, yap di muat di koran dan sampai sekarang sayangnya aku masi blm lihat koranya apes deh.. yang lihat guruku, temen ku, dan yang membanggakan lagi ortuku lihat dan beliau sms ke aku keren banget...

Selamat nak dapet juara.. pengorbanan ku selama ini terbayar lunas ya allah..

Sampai sekarang aku masi mempelajari web dan memperketat aplikasi web ku dengan apilasi pendukung keamanan.. semoga saja ngga ada orang yang usil banget sampai ngga ketangkep, selama ini yang uda ketangket apa 24 ip dan kebolir otomatis.. makanya jangan usil ya temen" nanti ip nya keblokir lhoo :))

Many beginning investors often wonder about the differences, if any, between investing and gambling. Stories in the media about stock market debacles and people losing their life savings create a fearful perception towards stock investing.

Before we take a look at investing vs gambling, let's take a step back and make sure we understand what these terms mean.

Definitions

Gambling, as defined by any reputable dictionary, is the act of betting on an uncertain outcome.

Investing means committing money in order to earn a financial return.

The definitions seem to indicate a higher element of chance or randomness in gambling, while investing appears to be more rational.

What Does "Real" Investing Mean

Stock investing is usually associated with a mad frenzy of activity — stock market floors with people feverishly trading, all kinds of hand signals, lots of emotion, stress, and excitement. But that really is trading not investing.

The essence of true investing is buying into companies behind the stock and not just the stock itself. This means that you carefully research thefundamentals of the company, buy it at a good price, and hold it for a meaningful period (typically a few years, unless the reasons you bought the stock in the first place are not valid anymore.)

As you can see, there is a lot of work that goes into investing.

Buying stocks based on "hot tips", trading frequently by following the gyrations of the market, and holding on to certain stocks based on pure sentiment is not investing. It's speculation.

A Little More About Gambling

Playing games of chance like slot machines or the roulette wheel have a statistically slim probability of winning. Players put down money and hope for a win despite hopeless odds. The lure of a large gain compels people to continue this act of betting.

If gambling had higher odds of winning, casinos would be out of business.

Risk

There are card games, like poker, that demand skill. However, you cannotchoose the cards dealt out to you. In investing, you can choose your investment.

This is the pivotal difference between investing vs gambling

So how does risk play into this? Buying stock and betting on the roulette wheel both involve uncertain outcomes and therefore carry risk.

The probability of a win is a lot higher when you do your homework and buy stock. Why? With a roulette wheel, every number on the board has an equal probability of winning. So the outcome is completely random.

With stocks, when you buy companies with good fundamentals at attractive prices, the probability that they will grow and produce good returns on your investment is not random. True, there is always uncertainty in the future, but the chance of losing money in the long-term is relatively low.

As Warren Buffett once said,

"Risk comes from not knowing what you are doing."

An Analogy

The best way to reinforce the investing vs gambling difference is to look at a simple analogy.

Let's consider the flipping of a coin. There is an equal chance (or probability) of "heads" or "tails."

But what if the coin were biased? In other words, what if the coin were weighted such that it had a much higher chance of showing us "heads"?

Now the coin flipping is no longer random. Picking "heads" greatly increases your odds of winning.

By picking stocks with the right kind of fundamental research, you are picking "heads" on our biased coin. And the wider the economic moataround the company, the higher the probability of "heads".

To wrap up, investing in stocks, when you use the right methods to pick them, is completely unlike gambling. Speculating, as opposed to investing, is more like gambling — the odds of winning are slim.

Another way of looking at the investing vs gambling question — the odds of losing your money are painfully high with gambling (and speculating).

Want to be a billionaire? You may want to consider which of the many paths to wealth–ballet flats? real estate in China? the next Facebook?–could be most likely to land you a spot on the Billionaires List.

To give you some ideas, we poured through the wealth database to come up with the industries that give you the best chances. The No. 1 wealth-producing industry: Investments, which made 148 billionaires including George Soros, Carl Icahn and newcomers Seth Klarman and Isabel dos Santos. Investments is a catch-all category we use here at Forbes to categorize the wealth created by hedge fund managers, people who play stockbroker with the family money, and the titans of investing who make moves like snapping up steel assets out of bankruptcy court.

But you often need money – yours or someone else’s – to make this kind of money. Plus it’s not necessarily the most creative endeavor.

You might want to instead consider, of all things, becoming a fashionista.

Why should you flip open the fashion mags? Well, because the fashion and retail industry produced the second-highest number of billionaires on the 2013 Forbes Billionaires List: 146. Twenty-one of this year’s new billionaires got rich in this field including Domenico Dolce & Stefano Gabbana of the eponymous luxury fashion house, and Renzo Rosso, founder of Diesel jeans.

Consider too newly-minted billionaire Tory Burch, whose $200 ballet flats and preppy-bohemian women’s wear line have pushed both she and ex-husband Chris Burch to billionaire status. Or Kevin Plank, who made his $1.2 billion with his Under Armour undershirts, which wick away sweat. Or Peru’s Eduardo Belmont, who has reaped a $6.1 billion fortune through his Belcorp, which sends sales folk throughout 15 Latin American countries, vending cosmetics door-to-door.

In all these instances, these now billionaires came up with items or stores that resonated with the masses. And therein is perhaps the best bet for becoming a billionaire: inventing, designing, creating something that will have broad appeal to consumers. Two other newcomers to this year’s list, Nicholas Woodman of GoPro (Industry: Technology), which makes video cameras for capturing outdoor adventures, and Hamdi Ulukaya of Chobani yogurt (Industry: Food and Beverage), the thick, tart yogurt flying off grocery stores shelves, also made their riches by filling a consumer desire.

In all of these cases, individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to build something from scratch made their own luck.

The No. 3 industry for creating billionaires is Real Estate, which made 129 people rich. After that is Diversified, a category we use for people whose wealth comes from multiple sources. Next is Food and Beverage, and then finally, at the No. 6 spot, Technology.

How To Follow Up On A Job Interview

Sarah Stamboulie, a New York career consultant, had a young Japanese client whose work visa was due to expire in just six weeks. The man was determined to find work at a hedge fund that would allow him to stay in the U.S., but he spoke with a strong accent, his written English was poor, and he had made a weak impression at job interviews. Stamboulie, who has worked in human resources departments for both corporations and nonprofits, encouraged him to follow up with an interviewer at a Japan-based fund who had already turned him down. Impressed by the young man’s persistence, the hiring manager recommended him to another Japanese fund that had an opening. Stamboulie’s client got the job. “It was like a semi-hostile referral, but it worked,” she recalls.

Lesson learned: Following up on a job interview is crucial. Even if you blow the interview, it pays to get in touch after the fact.

Ideally your interviews always go smoothly, and after each one you craft an effective note thanking the interviewer for the time, expressing enthusiasm and making it clear you listened closely to the hirer’s requirements. “The follow-up letter is almost like a proposal letter,” Stamboulie says. You should tailor it to the company and suggest specific ways you can address the needs you discussed when you met.

Roy Cohen, author of The Wall Street Professional’s Survival Guide: Success Secrets of a Career Coach, agrees that a follow-up note should always focus on what the hiring manager’s looking for. “You should say, ‘I listened, I understand your needs and your challenges, and here’s how I can help you address those,’” he says. Concisely remind the interviewer of what you’ve accomplished in the past, and make a couple of concrete suggestions for how you can help the company.

Do send the follow-up note as soon as possible. “If you don’t, someone else may send a message more quickly,” Cohen advises. If you don’t have time to craft a longer note, consider sending a short thank-you immediately, mentioning that you want to give further thought to the challenges you discussed and promising to send a more in-depth message soon.

Do send e-mails rather than handwritten notes, Stamboulie and Cohen agree. “People say that snail mail stands out, but it stands out for the wrong reason,” Cohen says. “It will make you look like a dinosaur.”

If you’ve met with more than one person in the interview process, think about what will make for an appropriate note to each, Cohen advises. For instance, if you interviewed with someone who would be reporting to you if you get the job, you can say something like, “It sounds like you’re working on some interesting projects. It would be great to have you as a colleague.”

David Couper, a career coach in Los Angeles and author of Outsiders on the Inside: How to Create a Winning Career Even When You Don’t Fit In, recommends a different tack if you’re following up on a meeting with human resources staff, as opposed to a hiring manager. HR professionals tend to struggle with overloaded calendars. He says it’s always a good idea to send a follow-up e-mail, but if the interview was at a large company, “don’t be surprised if you don’t hear back.” He recommends asking the HR person during the interview how he or she would like you to stay in touch.

Couper also suggests leapfrogging over HR if you get no response to your follow-up note. A client of Couper’s who was interviewing for a vice president-level job at an entertainment company did just that. It took several phone calls, but he eventually got the hiring manager to put pressure on the overworked HR team to hire him. He got the job.

Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Twitter creator Jack Dorsey are among the tech luminaries appearing in a new video promoting the teaching and learning of computer coding in schools.

Titled "What most schools don't teach," the video released online Tuesday begins with Zuckerberg, Gates and other tech icons recalling the time they got their start in coding. For some, that was in sixth grade. For others, such as Ruchi Sanghvi, Facebook's first female engineer, that happened in college. Freshman year, first semester, intro to computer science, to be exact.

Running less than six minutes, the video promotes Code.org, a nonprofit foundation created last year to help grow computer programming education.

"The first time I actually had something come up and say 'hello world,' and I made a computer do that, that was just astonishing," recalls Gabe Newell, president of video game studio Valve.

But it's not just tech leaders promoting programming in the video. Chris Bosh, of the Miami Heat basketball team, says about coding: "I know it can be intimidating, a lot of things are intimidating, but, you know, what isn't?"

Code.org was founded by tech entrepreneur Hadi Partovi, an early investor in Facebook, Dropbox and the vacation rental site Airbnb. The nonprofit wants to address an oft-cited problem among technology companies — not enough computer science graduates to fill a growing number of programming jobs. The group laments that many schools don't even offer classes in programming.

"Our policy is literally to hire as many talented engineers as we can find," Zuckerberg says in the video. "The whole limit of the system is just the there just aren't enough people who are trained and have these skills today."

Microcars arose in post-war Europe as a way to get the impoverished masses back on the road. Better than a scooter or a bike (but not by much), they were cheap to operate and easy to fix. Europeans old enough toremember them when they were new don’t view them fondly; to that generation, they are a reminder of deprivation and hard times. To younger collectors, on the other hand, they’re impossibly cute and generally bigger attention-getters at shows than high-dollar exotics. The trouble is, some of them now cost more than high dollar exotics like Ferraris and Lamborghinis. RM Auctions’ recent sale of the Bruce Weiner microcar collection underscores that point. Here are some of the most expensive (on a cost-per-pound basis):

1958 F.M.R. Tg 500 Tiger; 580 pounds/$322,000/$555 per pound: The Tiger may well be the most desirable microcar on the planet, as evidenced by the stratospheric price achieved by the example at the much-publicized Weiner sale. Essentially a “hot-rodded” version of the Messerschmitt KR200, it could probably take on a Little Tikes car piloted by a kid hopped up on too many Pixie Stix on a relatively even basis. On a price per pound basis at $555/pound, it’s a bit more expensive than the finest Japanese Wagyu beef steak.
1956 BMW Isetta; 794 pounds/$89,700/$113 per pound: To the extent that anyone in America is familiar with a microcar, the Isetta is probably the one. Semi-famous for being the ride of nerdy Steve Urkel on the ’90s sitcom “Family Matters,” Isettas appear with reasonable frequency at car shows, where people are generally shocked to discover that the same company that now pushes ultra-expensive 7-Series sedans once sold this one-door joke punch line. The Isetta that sold at the Weiner sale was market priced at $113/pound.
1967 ASA 1000 GT; 1,800 pounds/$80,000/$45 per pound: The ASA was envisioned as a sort of mini-Ferrari. Many of the same engineers and stylists were employed in designing this pint-size one-liter screamer. ASAs were beautifully styled and built as you would expect. They also cost a not-so-small fortune — about as much as a 150 mph Jaguar E-Type —and didn’t go much faster than a simple MGB. They’re quite rare, and RM Auctions sold this example at an auction in Monterey, Calif., back in 2006. At just $45 per pound, it’s the bargain of the bunch. Heck, some fancy steakhouses are getting nearly that for a lobster.
Peel Trident; 198 pounds/$103,500/$520 per pound: The Peel Trident was the companion to the infamous Peel P50 (the impossibly tiny car that 6-foot, 5-inch Jeremy Clarkson drove through the offices of the BBC on an episode of the show “Top Gear”). The 6.5 hp contraption is a dead ringer for George Jetson’s car and although it won’t fold up into a briefcase, it is near the top of the heap in cost per pound at $520.
1960 Fiat 500 Jolly; 1,000 pounds/$82,500/$83 per pound: The Fiat Jolly is what you kept on your yacht in the 1960s to motor around Monte Carlo when you docked. They’re essentially customized Fiat 500s with no doors and side windows. Most have wicker seats and a rudimentary awning-like top, which is only there to keep the sun off the occupants. Anyone who has seen Brigitte Bardot lately can probably tell how well that worked. RM Auctions sold one at a Florida sale in 2011 for $82,500, which calculates to $83 per pound.

Harlem Shake Baauer

“Harlem Shake”, not to be confused with the hip hop dance style, is the title of a 2012 heavy bass instrumental track produced by Baauer. In February 2013, the song spawned a series of dance videos that begin with a masked individual dancing alone in a group before suddenly cutting to a wild dance party featuring the entire group. Despite what the name suggests, the videos present a wide range of hip hop dances, including the Bernie, Twerking as well as improvisations.

Harlem Shake "by Baauer, the stage name of American music producer Harry Rodrigues, was uploaded to YouTube on August 23rd, 2012. The lyric "do the Harlem Shake" is a sample from the 2001 track "Miller Time" by Philadelphia party rap crew Plastic Little. The lyric was taken from an incident in members Jayson Musson's life where he got into a fight and finished by getting up and doing the dance. Bauuer's song was met with a positive reception from electronica & trap music blogs, as well as other artists Including Diplo, Brodinski, and Flosstradamus. On January 30th, 2013, a video blogger Filthy_Frank uploaded an episode that opens with four people dressed in latex suits dancing to Baauer's "Harlem Shake"

The Harlem Shake is a style of dance that involves pivoting the shoulder out while popping the other shoulder out at the same time. Introduced in 1981 by a Harlem, New York City resident named “Al Bm,” the dance was initially referred to as “albee” after his name, but later became known as the Harlem Shake as its prominence grew beyond the neighborhood. The popularity of the dance reached its peak around 2001, when it was featured or referenced in songs by several New York-based hip hop artists such as Jadakiss, Cam’ron and P. Diddy.

The dance itself is defined by Urban Dictionary as ‘An eccentric upper body dance move that involves the shaking of the upper torso and shoulders.’ On February 2nd, 2013, several parodies of DizastaMusic’s video were uploaded by YouTubers TheSunnyCoastSkate and PHL_On_NAN, the latter of which would go viral on February 5th, amassing 300,000 views within 24 hours and prompting further parodies from other YouTubers shortly after.

On February 7th, YouTuber hiimrawn uploaded a version titled “Harlem Shake v3 (office edition)” (shown below) featuring the staff of online video production company Maker Studios. The video instantly went viral, amassing more than 7.4 million views in the first week, as well as inspiring a notable subset of contributions from well-known Internet companies, including BuzzFeed, CollegeHumor, Vimeo and Facebook among many others.

261 mpg Volkswagen XL1 On Sale This Year

Volkswagen has toyed with the idea of cigar-shaped ultra-eco cars for some time now, but a production car is finally on the way. The Volkswagen XL1 is a plug-in diesel hybrid with a body seemingly beamed in from a future time. It's the physical representation of the benefits of reducing weight and improving aerodynamics. The small body may only take two people, but it's allowed for an incredibly streamlined body with a drag coefficient of only 0.189.

Low weight--only 1,752 lbs--means only a small engine and electric motor is needed to deliver respectable performance. Much of the car is constructed from carbon fiber, aluminium and titanium. VW says the car will do 261 mpg, though the real figure will be lower than that should it ever be tested under EPA guidelines. Even so, it'll still use comfortably less fuel than any vehicle currently on sale.

A diesel engine of only 0.8 liters and 2 cylinders capacity produces 47 horsepower, with a further 27 horses delivered by the electric motor. Power reache the wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox. Those figures sound miniscule by modern standards, but the XL1 should reach 62 mph in12.7 seconds. Top speed is 98 mph.

Operating alone, the small battery can deliver up to 31 miles of range, and can be charged via plug or regenerative effect. The price you pay for being green... The negative aspect to all this is cost. The XL1 is unlikely to be built in large numbers, and What Car estimates a cost as high as $100,000 or more.

Holger Boch, XL1 project leader, says "It's clearly going to cost a lot more than a Golf - it's made of carbonfibre and has two engines. The people who buy it will be people who like technology and who like being seen in a low-CO2 car."Thankfully, its drivetrain may be put to more practical use, in cars like the VW Up city car.

Whether either of these will ever reach the U.S. is unclear, though Volkswagen will reveal more details at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show.

Rumah Rp96 Juta Disulap Jadi Rp1,5 M

Bukan sesuatu yang mustahil apabila sebuah rumah yang tadinya bagaikan gubuk renta bisa diubah menjadi hunian bernilai miliaran rupiah. Percaya tak percaya inilah yang terjadi pada sebuah rumah yang berada di tepi danau Whitsband, Cornwall, Inggris.

Rumah yang tadinya hanya berupa tumpukan papan-papan tua ini berhasil diubah bagaikan resor yang terletak di atas tebing. Alhasil harga rumah ini pun meningkat puluhan kali lipat.

Awalnya rumah ini hanya bernilai 6.500 poundsterling atau setara Rp96 juta, namun setelah "disulap" menjadi sebuah properti mewah, harganya naik sebesar hampir 100 ribu poundsterling atau sekira Rp1,5 miliar (Rp14.733 per poundsterling). Demikian seperti dilansir Daily Mail, Kamis (21/2/2013).

Orang yang berada dibalik renovasi besar-besaran tersebut adalah Adam Woodler, yang berprofesi sebagai penjaga pantai. Pria ini memiliki ide yang baik dalam melihat lokasi rumah tersebut sebagai modal investasi masa depan yang bernilai tinggi.

Tentu saja lokasinya yang berada di tebing setinggi hampir 100 meter dan pemandangan langsung ke danau Whitsband yang menakjubkan, membuat harga setinggi itupun dinilai pantas. Apalagi Woodler membongkar seluruh bangunan lama dan membangun yang baru dengan desain yang lebih indah.

Dia menambahkan jendela kaca dan penghangat lantai, serta interior dengan nuansa yang sangat cosy. Di dalamnya terdapat kamar tidur, sebuah dapur, kamar mandi, dan teras tempat berjemur. Biaya renovasinya pun hampir mencapai 100 ribu poundsterling.

Namun, Woodler dan istrinya, Katherine tidak habis akal. Mereka memanfaatkan peluang bisnis yang besar melalui rumah tersebut yang bisa disewa dengan harga berkisar 1.500 hingga 2.900 poundsterling atau setara Rp22 juta hinga Rp43 juta per minggu. Melalui hasil sewa itu pasangan ini diperkirakan meraup pendapatan jauh melebihi 100 ribu poundsterling dalam setahun.

Rumah Seharga Rp2,1 M di BSD Laku Keras

Pengembang properti Sinar Mas Land menawarkan rumah dengan harga mulai Rp2,1 miliar per unit yang termasuk dalam klaster De Naara di BSD City. Klaster yang baru saja diluncurkan pada akhir pekan lalu tersebut, diklaim mendapatkan respon sangat positif dari masyarakat.

Bagi para penyelam, kapal karam adalah daya tarik tersendiri. Tapi tahukah Anda, ternyata kapal karam paling indah di dunia ternyata bukan di laut, melainkan di danau. Tenggelamnya pun hanya 20 kaki atau 6 meter saja.

Kapal karam biasanya dapat ditemukan di dasar lautan. Bagian-bagian bangkai kapal yang ditumbuhi terumbu karang, menjadi keunikan dan pemandangan yang menakjubkan di bawah air.

Tak hanya itu, air Danau Ontario yang biru dan jernih menambah kecantikan pemandangan kapal karam ini. Memang, tidak ada terumbu karang yang menghiasi kapalnya, tapi Anda dapat melihat Kapal karamnya dengan jelas tanpa harus menyelam.

Kapal ini dibuat tahun 1867 di Burlington, Kanada dengan panjang mencapai 119 meter. Lalu pada tahun 1885, lambung kapal Sweepstakes rusak di dekat Pulau Cove, Danau Ontario. Saat itu, kapal ini sedang membawa batubara dan akhirnya ditarik dengan boat menuju pelabuhan di dekat Fathom Five National Marine Park, Danau Ontario.

Tapi karena kerusakan yang terlalu parah, akhirnya kapal ini tenggelam di dekat pelabuhan tersebut. Karena di dekat pelabuhan, Sweepstakes hanya tenggelam pada kedalaman 20 kaki saja.

Rupanya, karamnya kapal ini justru menjadi daya tarik tersendiri bagi turis. Oleh sebab itu, kapal ini justru dibiarkan tenggelam dan dijaga. Sweepstakes juga disebut-sebut sebagai kapal karam paling indah pada abad ke-19. Keren!

Beberapa kawat dipasang di sekitar kapal. Hal ini untuk mencegah penyelam masuk ke dalam reruntuhan kapal, sekaligus menjaga kelestarian kapal tersebut. Dari tahun 1885, turis banyak yang berdatangan ke sini untuk melihat kapal karam tersebut.
