If you own a netbook odds are you own a fullsize system as well. So I'd suggest that Microsoft ought to give a free netbook edition to anyone who purchases home premium, business or ultimate. It'd help spur sales of the full versions, keep people closer to a homogeneous OS environment (best solution for security overall) & gives that "something for nothing" feel everyone likes. For people who dislike that or don't want to upgrade their desktop OS the price should be the same as Home Basic is now for Vista. Granted this doesn't really account for manufacturer pricing but they already pay pennies on the dollar to MS for each license so I'm guessing the cost is already bundled in.

The best way I've found to use our bookmarklet is creating a keyword for it in Firefox, mine's set to "u", so whenever I find a page I want to share I just do alt+D and u and bam, shortened URL for Twitter.

Brent Logan - Narrating My Work

You don't suck. You're burnt out. And that's okay.

Take a blogging sabbatical -- intentionally this time. Set a specific time when you'll decide what to do next. Maybe you'll back reinvigorated wanting to blog multiple times each day. Or maybe you'll realize you like your life better without the pressure of having to post.

As far as narrating your work, you're probably already doing that on Twitter. Mission accomplished!

I've been known to crash a browser or two in my day. This will help avoid what occasionally happens now, where I restart the browser, tell it to restore, then go on a frantic clicking effort to find and close the (suspected) misbehaving tab before it loads far enough to crash again. Sure, it'll take some of the adventure out of my day... but I suppose it's worth it.

Photos of Verizon Fios Fiber Broadband Install, End Result

Well, as long as the connection is the PPPoE like DSL, it should be fine. The open authorization is good, just username, no password, on less stuff to remember. The only thing is, once the connection is reset, the IP will change, minor inconvenient.
I don't need fios TV either, I got the cable line to use. But do you know if fios TV got clearQAM channels or all are encrypted?
And for the ONT box, it got the RJ-45 output. So the technician would have to open a hole on the wall anyway for the network cable to go indoor? this part itself it is big job.

You're responsible for setting up sharing if you have a home network. They can't be expected to mess with your home network configuration, and frankly, I wouldn't want them to. :-) However, I was able to ask my tech if I could just have her hook up to my existing router, and she was happy to do that. YMMV.

I have no idea about Fios TV - don't have it, and am not interested in it. My brother in law has it, and I think they do just hook up the coax connector on the ONT to your home coax cable connection, to go to your TVs. I've heard that there's a separate box/router for the Fios TV, but I don't know.

I am concern about the router since I heard that the router they provided is quite suck (as usual).
two more questions
1. When he finally connects the RJ-45 cable to your system, he just config one system, and you have to setup your own router for the connection if you want to share it?
2. If people want to get the fios TV also, how different is it going to be? Since the ONT box already has the coax output, I think just connect the cable from the output to indoor is enough?
