Tough Times

I know lately I haven't wrote or have been putting videos up and I'm sorry. There have been tough times going on right now in the personal area of life. Some of you may know and some of you don't. I've been contemplating things and I'm trying to see if the decisions I make will be the right ones or not.

A lot of people want me to make decisions right away and there are others that are there to support me no matter what without all the pressure. I know I have to decide on my own, but when it comes down to it, it all seems surreal...

I don't know what is going to happen, but I do hope it will be all for the best...

I Know I Don't Show It...

I try real hard not to show how stressed out or sad I can get... You can see in my videos that I try to be happy.

Deep down though, I am hurting and I think my health could be taking a toll too... My chest still hurts, but I refuse to go to the doctor because I hate going to the doctors. I've had so many tell me I fake everything half the time until they realize I am telling the truth and they pretty much have egg on their faces. I honestly don't want to go down that road again... and I know, a lot of you are going to tell me to go to make sure I am alright, I'll be ok, promise.

My personal life has been pretty hard lately and I wish the time was right to do something about it. At this very moment, it is not the right time. I know it sounds weird, but you guys already know I'm kind of strange. I guess I just have this feeling deep inside and right now it's telling me it's not time yet.

I feel like I'm just a jellyfish going with the current because I honestly have no where to go right now... I'm just here... waiting...Waiting for a break, waiting for help, waiting for anything.....

I wish I could make sense of it all, but even then, you might not know what I'm talking about....

Wish me luck through this... I need every ounce I can get....

Let's Try to be Happy

I can smile when I need to, even when it hurts, but I always try to find the good in everything and I also try to be as optimistic as possible.

No matter how down I get, I somehow find the light at the end of the tunnel, even when I'm at my lowest.

I drown myself in music and I think things through, or at least I try to. Sometimes I end up drowning in music for a long time... I kind of float there, listening to the words as I sort my thoughts out.

I think of how much my friends (and you know who you are) mean to me and how much they help me out when I feel at a loss... Making me laugh at the random shit in life and then I remember, "Hey, I remember laughing at this when I'm happy too." And I end up laughing some more.

I will say that I do miss having random conversations with Kels, for sure, because we could only really have these conversations without anyone judging us or judging each other for that matter.

Also.... And I know that this is really, REALLY unhealthy, but cookie dough makes the world a better place when I am down too. And if I don't have it on hand, well, cookie dough ice cream works just as well. Haha.

As I float in this sea of music, I will be listening to the words (if there are word, because at the moment, I am listening to dub-step...) and I shall continue on this journey to the light and self reflection and smile all the way through with my cookie dough ice cream in tow, thinking of my friends and family and how saying "Thank you" will never be enough. You guys mean the world to me and I love you. I really do!

Until next time, this star sailor will be heading to Jupiter to get some Jupiter drops in her hair.

Stressed Out and Unsure

With being sick for the past two weeks, slowly recovering with the pains in my chest and with my personal life knocking me down, I have been stressed out to the extreme, but I always try and keep a smile on my face.

Well with the monthly meeting I go to for the shelter left me even more stressed out because someone is afraid of change. Whether people like it or not ( and by people I'm talking about old people (60+)) social media is the future and it has helped tremendously with getting our pets adopted. They are trying to change how we, the Media Team (that I am part of along with the cat walking) write our bios and blogs on the animals. They want us to keep them short and simple. But we grab more of an audience and gain more adoptions with a story about the animal, what their personalities are like and if they're a match for your family. If they take all of this away, it will hinder us and we will have a difficult time trying to get these animals homes. My boss, the Media Team Leader, and I tried to defend how we write and now it's in the Board's hands now. If they take away our writing freedom, it will make writing like a chore instead of being fun.

If you know me, I am not one that likes to be told what to do. I will somehow (and I am sure my boss would be on my side as well) find away to still try and keep writing about the animals fun and colorful, even if it pisses off the others that are afraid of change.

Being part of this organization has given me the confidence and independence I have craved for for many years and it has opened my eyes to many opportunities. I just hope they don't fuck us over.

Making Scented Playdough in the Dark

My Final Result, Swirly Blue-ish Purple ^_^ But Don't Eat It!!!

I had a blackout when I made this so I am sorry for the video quality.
What you need to make your scented playdough is:
1 pack of Koolaid (any flavor you want)
1 1/4 cup of flour
1/3 cup of salt 1 tablespoon of cooking oil
1/2 cup of warm water
Food coloring (optional) In a bowl mix the koolaid, flour, salt first, then add the oil and water. (I suggest if you want to add food coloring, do it in this set of mixture rather than at the end like I did haha. On my blog I will have a picture of my end result so that you can see it better than in the video.) Keep mixing it until it becomes dough like, then add flour to the counter top and knead the dough until it starts feeling more like playdough. To store your playdough, you can put it in a plastic tupperware container or a plastic ziploc baggy.

Truly! Thank you so much for more input and more subjects!!! I really do like getting and answering questions and this coming Friday I will be doing a craft that my lovely cousin suggested for me ^_^

As for my pictures, I got my next batch back and I have been meaning to post them on Deviant Art and I will put them up as soon as I can. I'm excited for you all to see them!!! They came out sooooo cool and I will explain why they came out so cool with a sneak pre-view tomorrow!

WTB Motivation Pl0x

Yes.... I WTB motivation, pl0x. I have been really busy with volunteering and dealing with personal issues that I have been wearing myself thin.

I do apologize for not writing as often as I would like, but I came up with an idea when I was taking a shower. (Because, you know, your best ideas come to you when you're washing your hair and stuff)

I have been thinking about making a video blog, or vlog as the cool kids call them, on days where I don't want to write or don't have time to write, but instead, talk with my readers. I am still unsure what I would talk about and if you know me in real life, you know that I am pretty random. If you can handle that, then you, Sir or Madam, are awesome! (I mean, you are reading this blog already ^_~) I may even have some of you give me topics on what to talk about :).

When I get everything figured out (and have a down moment), I will let you know on here and on Facebook!

How Music Speaks to Me...

Lately I've been listening to a lot of songs to keep me myself on track. But the funny thing is, it's always the sad songs that speak to me more than the happier ones. And no, I'm not sad when I listen to them, I just like to enjoy the song.

When listening to music, I sometimes don't have to have a reason to want to listen to it other than to just enjoy it. I don't have a favorite genre per se, I listen to what I feel like listening too and that ranges from Screamo to Disney showtunes. I'm sure I weird people out when I get excited over old school gangster rap or if I start singing a little Van Halen afterwards.

I never really realized it was an issue with the music I listen to until I was told that what I've been listening to isn't "normally" what I listen to. But what is "normal" music? And why do I have to have a reason to listen to whatever?

Some songs speak to me and take me back to whatever memory I have connected to it. If I listen to the song "Every Thug Needs A Lady" by Alkaline Trio, I see my 16 year old self singing it while walking home with my cousin from the bus stop. Or if I hear any Tupac or Biggie song, I'm reverted back to my 7 year old self sitting in the car with my dad heading to miniature golf.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that music is a part of you, no matter what you listen to, and that you really don't have explain yourself when you listen to certain songs. Whatever song speaks to your heart, listen to it. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
